• Iosifina (6/5): - This stay was a bit disappointing overall. We originally booked this place because it advertised free laundry service (up to 2 kg, if I remember correctly). However, upon arrival, we were told that this offer only applies if you stay for more than two nights — something that was not clearly mentioned anywhere before booking. Additionally, the booking system did not allow us to reserve a triple room, even though we were three people. As a result, we had to pay for two rooms, but in the end, we were given one triple room and one double room, which was confusing. The rooms also had a very unpleasant smell that did not go away, which made our stay less comfortable. On the positive side, the location was very good and convenient.

Right in downtown action, great place to be if you want to experience urban Kandy. Good restaurant on the roof.

• Emma (8/5): - Tres bien placé et personnelle agréable et arrangeant. Nous avons eu un problème d’odeur dans notre chambre, le personnel a été très réactif et nous a tout de suite changé de chambre. Vous pouvez egalement acheter des places pour le spectacle de dance traditionnelle kandyan pour 2000 LKR par personne. Seul inconvénient le bruit car l’hôtel est en plein centre ville.
• Pierre (10/5): Excellent séjour - Emplacement idéal dans le centre ville proche de plusieurs magasins et restaurants. Le temple de la dent est proche. La chambre était spacieuse, propre avec climatisation. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et dans un cadre agréable sur la terrasse. Le restaurant aussi sert plusieurs spécialitées, leur burgers sont bons. Aussi plusieurs boissons sont disponibles. Personnel agréable et seeviable.

• JAMES (10/5): Fantastic location, as a base, to explore Kandy. - Friendly, helpful staff. Organised our brilliant driver. Room was clean and comfortable. Bed needed more pillows, which would be our only slight criticism. The best thing about it is the location though! All of the tourist things, around the centre of Kandy, are within 5 minutes walk! Lack of enough pillows. Everything else was excellent

• Alana Jean (6/5): - Great location to be able to walk to different destinations in Kandy and really good restaurants a short walk nearby. Fine for one or two nights, but I wouldn't stay longer. The hotel tries to overcharge you for cultural dance (2000 LKR for a ticket you get free from tuk tuk drivers if you do a city tour with them) and charges nearly double what a city tour would cost if you found a tuk tuk tour off the street. Feels a bit like they are just trying to take as much money from you as they can, even though the hotel is far from luxury.

L’ extérieur de l’hôtel peut donner une impression d'inconfort, mais quand vous êtes dedans , vous vous rendez compte que tout est OK. La décoration de la chambre est simple mais tout fonctionne bien , notamment dans la salle d’eau. Le personnel est sympathique et à l'écoute. Le service lundry est de qualité, les petits déjeuners copieux . La qualité de la loterie pourrait être un peu meilleure.

• Carrie (8/5): Good value in a great location! - Excellent location (10 minute walk to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth) and incredibly friendly staff! This is a budget place, so don't expect anything luxurious, but it has everything you need- A/C, hot water, and you can see that the staff are working hard to make it as clean & nice as possible! The rooftop restaurant/bar is a wonderful space! First, I must say thank you to the staff for the quick turnaround laundry even though the truck had just left before we arrived! Unfortunately, my 1 skirt never made it back. Just a heads-up for other guests to check before they leave the hotel, as I should have done...

• Elina (10/5): Best place to stay in Kandy! - Everything about this accommodation is perfect. Clean, comfortable room, wonderfully friendly staff, central location, good big breakfast, and a gorgeous rooftop terrace where you can chill with a beer and watch the sunset over Kandy. We've stayed here two years in a row and absolutely love it. If you don't have a problem with climbing stairs, you MUST stay here, it is so worth it!

The food was very good, and the hotel was clean and well maintained. It’s within walking distance to KCC and Dalada Maligawa, which is very convenient. Calm and quiet location with a great atmosphere. Highly recommended 🇱🇰.
• Greg (3/5): Disappointing. - Location is good. Room was large. Bathroom had many issues. Toilet not fixed to floor and leaked, seat not properly attached. Basin not fixed to bench. No hot water in the morning. Window filthy outside. Access was difficult, with steep shallow stairs and low clearance at multiple points.

• Elena (6/5): Soluzione e buon prezzo per chi si sa adattare - Posizione centrale, a 10 minuti a piedi dal tempio del dente e dal lago. Prezzo molto economico. Staff sorridente e cordiale. Bella la terrazza sul tetto e bello il bagno piuttosto moderno. Purtroppo nonostante la terrazza sia molto bella e lo staff molto gentile e disponibile durante la cena abbiamo visto svariati topi vicino a noi ed alla cucina. Il mio consiglio è quello di tenere la spazzatura lontana e la terrazza un po’ più in ordine e pulita.

The room was very damp and mouldy, which made me have very bad allergies. There was water dripping from the ceiling. Although the location was great it was quite loud with the street, and I am a light sleeper unfortunately.

• Lorena (7/5): Good for a quick stay - Located super central in Kandy, on the description says laundry provided but if the customer arrives late, it wouldn’t be provided. Spacious room but bathroom was full of bugs and mould, shower was separated with an old mouldy curtain from the toilet bowl. Comfortable bed, there was a small bed inside the room for a 3rd person or child too, towels and toiletries provided.

The laundry service was quick and cheap. The room was comfortable, shower with nice pressure and hot water. Nothing to complain.

• Magdalena (6/5): I don’t recommend. You can find something with better facilities and same price. - The room had air conditioner and property it’s near shops and restaurants. Quite dirty, location in the city center so it was very noisy. If someone likes silence I recommend finding something on the outskirts of Kandy. The restaurant had disgusting food, we ate at a different place every time. Breakfast is only from 8 am so if you have a tour booked you still have to organize your own breakfast. Although we didn't use the breakfast we still had to pay for it.
• David (7/5): Good - Good, if you are in town for a night or two. Great location, close to all major sites. The hotel itself is allright. It's relatively clean and not too loud. Everything is very reasonable for the price one is paying. So, with realistic expectations, this seems like a good, budget friendly option.

I had an issue with my train ticket to Ella and they went above and beyond to help me sort it out. They even called me when I was at the train station to make sure that I got on my scheduled train. Can’t thank them enough. Highly recommend

• Kabir (6/5): Overall, I would recommend that if you choose to stay at this hotel, make sure you don’t get scammed by the staff. Be ca - The rooms were clean. The hotel stairs were quite steep. The worst part of our stay was the staff’s scamming behavior. The hotel manager was the biggest scammer of all. He didn’t provide any water in the room, so we had to buy two bottles from him. When I saw the bill, I was shocked by the price he charged. The original price of each bottle was 120 LKR, but he charged 240 LKR per bottle. When I questioned him about the double charge, he tried to deceive me by claiming it was a service charge. I then asked for a copy of the bill and told him I would report the matter to the tourist authorities. After that, he called his boss and returned the entire amount, saying the water was free for me. This incident left me completely shocked.

• Hayata (8/5): Warm family! - Warm stuff and beautiful scenery from the roof top(You can enjoy food and drinks there. What’s more, you can have a nice conversation with other tourists. It can surely be a wonderful experience you’ve not had in your daily life. I found it difficult to get hot water in a bathroom. But, since I was in a bathroom without clothes, I gave up calling stuff and having them teaching us how to get hot water, and took a shower with cold water, but still nice. So, I strongly recommend you to ask stuff the way you can get hot water at the time of check in.
• Blagoveščenskij (8/5): Great experience with minor issues - Before coming to Kandy I was thinking of whether I should stay uphill with a beautiful view or more in the city center. And this hotel turned out to be a perfect solution because it is right in the city center 7-8 min walk to the Buddha Tooth Temple and at the same time it has a nice rooftop restaurant with a beautiful view. The room was clean. The staff were friendly. The restaurant was good too. My room was overlooking the street. It was very noisy. The stairs are very high. It is not very convenient to go upstairs and downstairs. And with the luggage it was even worse. I am also 196 cm and the way upstairs/downstairs is not suitable for tall people.
