Arti (1/5): Worst hotel in terms of maintenance, cleaning and hygiene. - The best thing about Eefa hotel is the staff. Restaurant staff showed warmth and concern. Reception staff anticipated our request as soon as they could. The staff did try to assist us with whatever resources they had available. Starting with the room's floor and walls, there was spilt gravy on the dining table and the floor underneath around the couch area. The sink contained brown water (we didn't shower or brush our teeth, using bottled water instead). The pot and pot lid had dried fungus stains. The pillows were stained and dirty despite having white pillowcases. The curtains did not have blinders, so we were forced to wake up by 6.00 am. The TV had no entertainment channels except for some regional language channels. The carpets were not vacuumed, as they used a cloth broom to sweep the room. The floor was mopped with an old and dirty mop. I called the staff a couple of times to clean, and they promptly assisted. The pictures on Booking.com and other websites are completely misleading. I stayed in and booked many hotels, but this was the worst. Zero maintenance. Zero value for money. I do have more pictures. However, I could post only 4.

Pradeep (9/5): Excellent stay. Will stay here again. Will recommend to all. - Location, food, staff and price. Close to the station yet quiet neighbourhood. Food was good. I tried only veg food. In case you decide to eat outsides, there are good restaurants nearby. Sona Chandi, Spices, Sun and Sand. Most wonderful aspect was the staff. People at the reception, restaurant and lobby were young, energetic and ready to help with a smile. No expectations about tips etc. For that price, they should provide hand towels and / or paper tissues/napkins in the rooms. Somehow the TV connection with the internet box is such that you can not hear the dialogues.

Dilip (10/5): Couldn't be better. - The breakfast spread was excellent, choice and quality wise. Service was outstanding and all the staff were extremely couteous and helpful. Charging of EV should be complimentary. And more charging stations should be provided. I had occupied room 606. Something odd was that the washroom is on the ground floor and the double bed on the mezzanine. Though I, personally, was comfortable, others might find it to be inconvenient.

Dhiman (1/5): Mislead by Bookig.com for room booking - 1.Nothing from arrival at the Hotel was bad . The app rates and the hotel rates vary. HD taken the superior double room and a extra cot. However the same was denied saying that the Hotel has no information. 2. The Booking .com does not check and the information provided is very poor. 3. The toilet has no ventilation. No sanitation . 4. Had to call for small things, like water glass, water . 5. The hotel doesnot encourage guest visiting the rooms.and that puts us off, very poor hospitality. 6. Was charged for extra bed ,whereas i had already paid the amout. So in all the booking.com guys have mislead me ans every day was being pestered by hotel regarding he extra bed request. Very poor information and verypoor bad experience. I will never ever use the Booking.com app. I also need the etra that was charged for extra cot @Rs 1500 plus taxes. Every thing very bad.

They also did not give us food and I had to go down to the reception and raise my voice. No extra bed was available..my son had to sleep on floor without sheets,mattress was out of question.at least they should have provided 2-3 towels to sleep on as courtesy. On Monday,,they had function booking .whole crowd was in for breakfast.No extra counters were put in .it was total chaos,no servings were available, people were waiting inline till reception. In room occupants were all neglected in service.total hopeless manage ment,...dosa & omlette makers just disappeared from scene. All basic services r lacking. Function booking should have separate counters
Sam (4/5): hotel quality has deteriorated. - Nothing The hotel quality has deteriorated. Bathroom faucets were leaking. Shower was not working. Towels had marks on them. Food quality was not that great. During checking the hotel didn’t inform about new checkout policy, checkout at 8:30am. Early morning 7:30am on checkout day we were asked to checkout within an hour.
Tony (4/5): I filter hotels on using filter and if those expectaions are not met. then i am dissapointed. - breakfast was great. location was good. cleanliness was good. staff was friendly and courteous. there were only two towels for two people, why so stingy? there were no hand towels. I specifically filtered with the fitness center and got this place. But when I checked in they said, Fitness centre or Gym is under maintenance.

Poonawala (6/5): Billing pattern is not satisfactory.each service, 2 types of GST charged- state & central 2.50- 6.% - location,ambience,cleanliness,staff ,very good. But, billing tariff was not at all good. Although room charge was mentioned something else ,it almost doubled. For every service they charge STATE GST- 2.50% &. CENTRAL GST -2.50%. Then CONTINENTAL PLAN is 1400& again 2 Types of GST state & central by 6% -1568 extra.. So, it's just escalating billing amount,which is not quoted at booking . It was quite 😞 dissatisfying. Applying central & state GST by 2.50%to 6%. on every service Continental billing 1400+6%central ,& state GST ,so 164/ extra. , As written above in details.&

The design of the rooms… the room I stayed was unnecessarily big.. and a lot of space has been wasted. I and also two more people who stayed in the same hotel.. felt that it is seriously over priced.. atleast by 500 bucks. One more annoying thing was that the hand wash area was across the lobby… away from the dining area!! I don’t know how do they expect us to walk across the reception and lobby after having food to wash our hands… or just to use the washroom between a meal for any emergencies..

The access and parking are quite good. There are some good restaurants around this place too. Cleanliness - the shower was difficult to even step in. Sandhya (9/5): Comfortable for short stay - This is our second stay at Eefa. We got a beautiful room on the 6th floor with a lovely view. The room was neat, clean and spacious. In house dining was excellent - our compliments to the chef. During our first stay, we got a room on 1st floor which was not great. The room appeared old and needed refurbishment. Overall, mattresses can be better and the bedcovers need to be renewed.

Ravi (2/5): Dirty hotel with disgusting staff - The hotel is impractical. Bed on Mezzanine floor , bathroom downstairs. Rude and untrained staff and waiters. Rates charged are disproportionate to the ambience and service.
Girish (2/5): Not worth the price you pay. Rude Staff. - Not a pleasant experience. The Hotel staff specially at the reception was very rude. I had my booking done through Expedia and the total package cost was 15,000 inclusive of taxes which was clearly mentioned in my confirmation voucher and itinerary. The Hotel asked me to pay for the taxes which are above 15,000. They told me that 15,000 is only the room rent and the taxes will be extra. When I showed them the voucher they said it's mistake from Expedia side and I have to pay the extra taxes above 15,000. Including the taxes, I paid 18,500 for 3 nights for 3 people which does not include even the breakfast. Considering the amount I paid, the Hotel is not worth. Because of the miscommunication or overcharging me deliberately, rude staff, average hotel which is highly overpriced and the super expensive Hotel restaurant I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. For this price you can check other better options in Belgaum like Marriot, Sanman etc.
