- Sepedi (1/5): False advertisement-incomplete villa - Location The villa is incomplete with construction material onsite,loft area ,the owner's cars are parked in the garage with no enough space for guests cars and balcony which lacks decking, a hidden maid quarters which has been advertised as a 3rd bedroom(to get to the 3rd bedroom,you need to go inside 2nd bedroom. Imagine if there were couples in the third bedroom, they couldn't use the bathroom facilities without passing through the 2nd bedroom to use bathroom facilities) )There are no cleaning services. The shower in the second bedroom doesn't work, and guests have to share and use the main bedroom's shower.

The surroundings are breathtakingly peaceful, with nature right at your doorstep, making it an ideal place to relax and reset. The accommodation was spotless, beautifully designed, and well maintained, with every detail thoughtfully considered. The atmosphere is tranquil and private, yet still welcoming and homely. A special mention must go to Rifumo, who assisted us from check-in right through until our departure. His professionalism, warmth, and attentiveness truly elevated our experience. He was always available, friendly, and went out of his way to ensure that we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout our stay. His service was exceptional and made us feel genuinely valued as guests. We highly recommend Baobab Bush Lodge and Villa to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Hoedspruit. We will definitely be returning

When I refused and requested a refund they then sod I’m gonna forfeit 50% of it .

- Sandra (10/5): - The employees were very friendly and helpful. They drove me to several attractions when unable to confirm space with a group. The lodge has a water hole where various wildlife come to drink including 4 beautiful water bucks. Room was spacious and included outdoor shower. Bed was very comfortable. Continental or full breakfast served daily and dinner was also served on several nights for nominal price.
- Antonio (6/5): All in all it's pretty decent - Nature reserve and the location of the accommodation. Out door bath and shower was great and room size was big. The beds and pillows were very hard and not comfortable at all. There was no pricing on items we had to ask a few times. The dinners you have to book in advance but they can't tell you prices or anything about the dinner.

The advert on booking.com is so misleading as even the so called visitors on the photos are employees and owners 🙄
- Mandla (2/5): Worst hoedspruit experience ever - The property is beautiful ,staff is amazing The food could have been better ,also the property says no self catering yet food is not available after driving 6hrs to get there am told am not allowed to make my own food or drinks and had to drive back into town to look for a place to dine in ,secondly the owners kept walking up and down the property at odd hours of the night and shining a flash lights at our windows not good sleep at all

- Mokgadi (9/5): Superb - We received a great welcome from Hope the chef, her hospitality was phenomenal, we really enjoyed our stay and breakfast was great. We didn't like the fact that we were not allowed to bring our own alcohol while the venue does not have the things we drink, another thing we were not pleased with there was no DSTV and we wanted to watch soccer, we had to go outside to watch, there was just a lot we did not like but we thank the Chef and the Assistant manager for making us forget about everything and focus on enjoying our stay.

- Dinna (10/5): The Baobab Bush lodge - Gem of Hoedspruit - The lodge itself is beautifully situated quite deep within the wildlife estate making your stay peaceful and also filled with sightings of plenty of friends from the bush The layout manages to ensure privacy while not leaving you with a sense of being isolated. The rooms are well furnished and always neat and tidy. The outdoor shower is a wonderful touch and makes you feel even closer to nature The breakfasts were excellent and were a treat to wake up to every morning. The lodge is situated very close to a lot of key amenities, superb restaurants and fun activities. Above all the team that hosted was fantastic from the word go and really epitomised what good hospitality and customer service means This is a memorable stay at a fraction of the cost of others in the area

The coffee is 100%, the staff is incredibly pleasant, the food provided by the chefs is incredibly delicious—everything about this restaurant is just the best. I really enjoyed it and will most certainly return often.
