- Kathryn (9/5): Beautiful hotel with kind, helpful staff. - A lovely town away from the hustle and bustle of Amalfi and Positano, with its own lovely restaurants and two small beaches. We would definitely stay again but would pay the extra and have a sea view room. The garden room was lovely, clean and comfortable but it was alongside the walkway to the breakfast room so we had to keep the curtains shut. This wasn’t a big issue though.

Antonella made sure that the check in was seamless and even gave us a map on places to see and restaurants to try. Also the breakfast was delicious, especially the coffee, and the chef was great. The location was prime, near the bus station and several restaurants, and overall the room was well equipped and clean. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Praiano.

It’s located at a very convenient place as there’s a shuttle to take you to the other towns right outside of the hotel. This is an amazing boutique hotel with everything you need. Our favorite part was probably the views overlooking the coast when enjoying breakfast each morning. Bus stop was also right outside hotel which was convenient. Would recommend this hotel for couples looking at getting good value for their stay in Praiano.

The owners and staff were warm, friendly and attentive throughout our stay with excellent - The property is immaculate with regards its cleanliness, style and comfort. There is pay by phone / meter parking outside the property costed at a reasonable rate. The breakfast was fresh, service attentive with keenness to make sure we had good guidance to explore the nearby areas. Comfortable bed and bedding. The view from the welcome drink/breakfast area was serene. An iron in our room is the only comment that would have improved our facilities, however, an iron did appear to be out and available to use in the common area / hallway. Our room had a small courtyard with walls so high there was no view.

- want-to-fly-private (2/5): Isolated Location, Poor Services Particularly For Price - Location - in the middle of a smaller town without any shuttle service to main Praiano or to the Marina of Praiano. But more important are several issues that are relevant when you are at a high price point such as this 1. There is no phone in the room; be aware you must use WhatsApp to communicate with the hotel staff 2. The refrigerator was not stocked with water. We informed them at check-in in the early afternoon. On return after dinner at 8 pm, there was still no water there. 3. The room has two large towels; no small or medium size towels in the bathroom. 4. No Q tips in bathroom. In general, the theme is spartan amenities, and this at 500 EUR per evening 5. Shower very small 6. We had a room with jacuzzi; water was not hot, but we were told this was intentional. Fine, but there is no temperature control. If you want to bathe in tepid water, that is fine. 7. Breakfast does not start until 8 am. Given that there is nothing of value to do in Praiano and you must travel to Amalfi, Positano or elsewhere to get a ferry to Capri (there are really only private boat services from Praiano marina), it would be nice to have breakfast at 7, so that you can get a bus to Praiano earlier and catch an early ferry to whatever activities you do plan to do for the day We walked to a hotel on the water at marina Praiano and the nightly rate was the same, but with water front view and a restaurant there (which there is not in Albadamare), directly next to at least private boat services. There are far better options out there. If you want a quiet experience away from Amalfi or Positano, try Ravello. If you want to be closer to activities that the Amalfi Coast is known for, try Amalfi or Positano. There are a copious amount of superior hotels.

Antonella é um diferencial, pois atende muito bem, e ajuda no que for preciso. Sobre a cidade, viemos de Capri e depois fomos para Positano. Praiano é uma cidade menor, com menos comércio e menos opções. Mas, se vc quiser visitar Praiano este hotel vale bem a pena. Sobre o hotel, não tenho nada a reclamar ( atendimento, qualidade, etc). A única observação é que fica no alto ( bela vista) e precisa subir e descer a ladeira para acessar outras partes. Ha um ônibus ao lado do hotel que te leva para todos os lugares, mas a frequência é espaçada.

Antonella, the owner, and everyone at Albadamare were always so welcoming and genuinely happy to see us. Antonella often checked in to see if we needed suggestions or help planning our day, which made everything so easy. Breakfast was fantastic, especially with Lucio taking such great care of us. Albadamare is truly the perfect spot on the Amalfi Coast—not too busy, yet easily accessible to Positano, Amalfi, and the surrounding towns. We stayed in a room with a balcony, and the views of the sea were absolutely breathtaking. Italy and the Amalfi Coast are amazing on their own, but Antonella and the team at Albadamare made our experience unforgettable. We can’t wait to return!

Antonella and her staff were the most helpful, kind, knowledgeable, responsive, and hospitable people on the amalfi coast! We did day trips to capri, positano, amalfi, and ravello using the local buses, as well as boat tours to capri and a private boat tour towards maiori. We also did an excellent home cooking class at Sergio’s Home Experience. All of the things we did were recommended by Antonella. Our junior suite had both a balcony and a terrace with truly breathtaking views. I cannot recommend this beautiful boutique hotel enough. Everything about it, including the delicious breakfast and great staff, made us fall in love with Praiano. We will 100% be back!!❤️ we love Antonella and everyone at Albadamere!!!

- ali nevroz (10/5): Perfect - I've seen so many hotels, but I've never seen such attention. The rooms are magnificent, the breakfast is fantastic, and the location is excellent. Buses depart from in front of the hotel, and the public parking lot is just steps away. When I arrived, it was full, so the owner came and gave me his own parking spot. They provide towels for the beach. We left ours on the beach, but despite our insistence, they refused to charge us extra. Rather than staying in a poor hotel in Positano, it's fantastic to stay at a magnificent hotel like this in Praiano and explore Positano by bus. When I asked for information about the beach, the staff opened a map and explained where to go, where to eat, and everything. They were always there for us and responded to every message immediately. The only problem is that I can't give a score higher than 10.

From here it’s easy to get to Positano or Amalfi. A special thank you goes to the gentleman serving breakfast, who even saved us on the bus when we almost missed our stop in Praiano and nearly ended up in Positano! Overall, a very pleasant stay! The hotel itself is quite something. When we had breakfast we got a view of both mounties and the sea. I would recommend staying here. Thankfully Praiano is in between most of the busier spots so its nice to just come to a quieter place to sleep.

- Austin (10/5): - This is the place to stay if you want a relaxing, clean, friendly, and nice vacation. It is away from the crowds in Amalfi/Positano, but has public transportation to each of them. Easy to catch. There are great restaurants in Praiano, nice beaches, and enough to do. We even caught a Jazz concert and mini-fair run by the locals! Staff is extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast is awesome too! If you want a great value stay, this is the one.

She gave us great advice and suggestions from the moment I booked she reached out. Luccio is a great breakfast chef who will get your order exactly how you prefer it. We drove to the coast which isn’t always recommended but since there is a parking lot right next to the hotel it was actually very convenient and made getting around easier if you are an experienced driver. Our hotel room, the junior suite, was such a luxury experience with 2 patios including a small jacuzzi/pool and a sauna. Waking up to the most amazing views of the coast was spectacular and truly worth it. The beds were comfortable and our towels and rooms were refreshed daily. Luca who serves breakfast was so friendly, honestly adorable, makes an amazing omelette (which was an amazing surprise) tried to decline and he was like No! Your doing Path of Gods you need the protein! And he was right! The Manager was honestly amazing, so helpful and I should have reached out more before arrival!! Do not listen to Google maps on the route to take from the SITA boss stop, talk to her and talk the local bus from there up to the Hotel the bus stop is literally right outside! Although the hotel is located a bit far from the beach and there are no balconies, it more than makes up for it with its cozy atmosphere, tasteful design, and exceptional hospitality. The rooms are spotlessly clean and decorated in a minimalist, elegant style with calming natural tones. Everything is thoughtfully arranged — comfortable bed, high-quality linens, good lighting, and excellent soundproofing. It’s a perfect place to relax after exploring the Amalfi Coast. What truly stood out was the warmth and friendliness of the hosts. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel welcome and cared for, always ready to help with tips on restaurants, walking routes, or transportation. Their personal approach and attention to detail really elevate the experience. Breakfast in the garden was another highlight. Fresh, tasty, and served with care — great coffee, warm croissants, fresh fruit, yogurt, and homemade treats. A lovely way to start the day. Although reaching the beach involves a bit of a walk (as is typical in Praiano), the hotel’s peaceful location away from the tourist crowds is a real advantage. If you’re looking for a quiet, authentic, and beautifully kept place to stay, I can wholeheartedly recommend Albadamare.

Beautiful little hotel overlooking the Amalfi Coast with spectacular staff that were there to answer any question and assist us in any way. The lovely gentleman Lucio who served breakfast each morning even remembered the way we liked our coffee. Thank you all for making our time in Praiano great!

- F8649FKwendyr (10/5): Perfection in Praiano! - A perfect experience, and we mean perfect. Picturesque hotel in a beautiful town away from the touristy spots on the Amalfi coast. The hotel is perched at the top of the town in a residential area. We wanted a quiet spot, and we found it. We were warmly greeted from the moment we arrived by Antonella, Lucio, and Salvadore. Our room was everything we dreamed of. It was spacious, comfortable, and clean, and had an excellent shower. The view from our private balcony was spectacular. Breakfast every morning, accompanied by Lucio's warm smile and exceptional cappuccinos, was a highlight. Antonella attended to every need, including recommendations for local restaurants and an epic coastal hike. Beach towels ready for us in a tote bag as we headed to the beach was an unexpected treat. We have already recommended Albadamare to several friends planning trips to the Amalfi Coast. We stayed for five nights and wanted to stay forever. We will certainly be back!
- Jenica (10/5): - From the moment you step onto this beautifully manicured property, you will feel at once pampered, and at home. Antonella and Lucio are attentive, friendly and personal. The rooms are clean and beautifully detailed with colourful tiles, skylights and comfortable bedding. The outdoor terrace has a spectacular view, and breakfast with individualized coffee is served daily. The coffee, eggs cooked-to-order, fruits, vegetables, cheeses and pastries are divine! Staying here feels like you are staying with family! You’ll want to come back.
- Laura (10/5): Amazing hospitality and convenient location - Fantastic staff, couldn’t be more helpful. Delicious breakfasts. Local buses right next door. Super clean rooms, very modern. Free or paid parking is available, depending on how far you want to walk. Possible to park very short term nearby in a car park to offload luggage so very convenient. Praiano is less crowded than Positano or Amalfi with plenty of good restaurants and eateries with great water views.
- RossW84 (10/5): Amazing hotel in picturesque location - The Albadamare was the perfect place to stay in Praiano and the service was beyond excellent the whole time. This includes prior to our arrival with Antonella who helped secure us a fantastic driver (Aldo) for both to and from the airport. The front desk suggested great activities and ways to see the sites and were always so friendly. Breakfast is exquisite , great pastries, yogurts, hard boiled eggs mix fruit and vegetables, jams and spreads, as well as the offering of cooked eggs and more. The cappuccinos in the morning always put a smile on our face. The tomatoes are also excellent. Balcony views are beyond impressive as well as some local restaurants boasting equal views and amazing food. There is a bus stop with schedule right in front of the hotel to get around town or to go to positano. The restaurant recommended to us was the best one we had, but lots of great restaurants within walking distance (up to 15 min away). Kasai is likely the closest and it was delicious. Thank you again!
- alliea47 (10/5): Beautiful, Boutique hotel!! - My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Albadamare! This was our first stop in a 2 week Italy adventure. It was so nice to be in Praiano, close to all the things to do, but away from the craziness of Positano. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful! Breakfast was amazing each day and the property and rooms were gorgeous , well maintained and comfortable! Would highly recommend and will definitely stay here again if in the area!! Thanks for a wonderful start to our trip!!

- Shaun (10/5): Our special celebration was made even more memorable staying at this wonderful hotel. - The Boutique Hotel is set in a beautiful location, looking down on the village and across the sea, everything is spotlessly clean, the staff are amazing, Antonella the manager is very welcoming and helpful, giving us local knowledge on everything we asked, Lucha at breakfast made some amazing coffees, the lemon one being very special, omelettes cooked to order are delicious, lots of pastries and cereals to choose from. It was our 30th wedding anniversary and we certainly thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Nothing to dislike !!

Good location very close bus stop, short walk to main part of prariano- there are lots of stairs. Beautiful hotel, very comfortable and clean rooms. The breakfast was delicious, wide variety and picturesque views. Overall the staff were so kind, very knowledgeable and helpful i would come back again. Nothing, everything was amazing!
- Teresa (10/5): Exceptional - We highly recommend this accommodation. The location is peaceful and quiet but walkable to the Main Street. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The room was exceptionally clean, with an uninterupted view of the ocean . The morning breakfast was great with fresh barista-made coffee. Bus stop is also conveniently located outside the hotel.

- Carole (8/5): - The hotel is up on a hill. The main bus doesnt take you there. You have to either have a taxi( expensive) or local mobility bus, otherwise its an uphill trek with 156 stairs unless you go around to stay on road. Staff was very nice , breakfast was gd , small and staff made your coffee for you. Rooms were great. Kasai restaurant is worth every penny
- 56gunnarg (10/5): Wonderful boutique hotel - We stayed here for seven nights in May 2025 we had room number six “summertime”. The room was well appointed and extremely clean. The shower was amazing and there was a towel heater adjacent, which was a nice touch. The breakfast offered a variety of pastries, fruit, yogurt, and egg dishes among other options. It was always delightful and clean. Lucho does an amazing job with his coffee service at the breakfast and there was fresh squeezed orange juice. The best thing by far however is the service. Antonella the owner is a wonderful person who wants you to have a delightful stay. She will book excursions and take care of any issues at all that you may have. I have never had such good concierge service, including very expensive five star hotels.

- kimbO9958MM (10/5): Perfection in every way! - Our stay at Albadamare Boutique Hotel in Praiano was one of our favorites from our 3 weeks on Italy. Our room was perfect. It was a Jr suite with terrace and it had the most amazing views. Bed and pillows were super comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. We loved sitting on our private patio deck watching the sunsets! The owner/ operator, Antonella, was the kindest person. She helped us with restaurant reservations, taxis, a boat excursion AND she even helped facilitate getting a special piece of jewelry back to me that I had accidentally left behind. The breakfast were also one of our favorite things! This included: perfectly cooked omelettes, iced fresh squeezed orange juice, fresh fruit and of course home made pastries. I really can’t say enough great things about this place!

Cleanliness, attention to detail. Phenomenal breakfast. The views! I can’t think of anything negative to say. The owner was incredibly responsive to any questions we had. Lovely person!
- Ip (10/5): Amazing stay, away from the daily crowd! - My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming hotel on the Amalfi Coast! Antonella, the host, was incredibly kind and helpful, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The location is perfect, conveniently close to a local bus stop #15(make sure to transit to the local bus from the main road), making it easy to explore the area. The local bus, which is less crowded, also goes to Positano. The property itself was spotless and the breakfast – simply delicious! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Amalfi Coast!
- michaelmA378RJ (10/5): Fantastic hotel with personal service - My wife and I spent 3 nights at this hotel as part of our Italian holiday. The hotel was small but very stylish. We had a garden room, which was perfect for us. The owners and staff were all lovely and so helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them and made our stay even more comfortable. Breakfast was served on the terrace, with fabulous views. The breakfast was delicious, and because it’s a small hotel, we felt like we had a very personal service. The hotel is up the hill, so walking back up from the beach or the main part of the town, was slightly challenging in the heat. However, the local buses stopped literally outside of the hotel, which was a bonus - we even got the bus to Positano with our luggage (as moved onto there for our next few days) on the advise from the hotel owner, rather than getting a taxi, which are apparently very expensive. Overall, we loved the hotel and would return if staying again on the Amalfi Coast.
