Guest Reviews
- Edgar (10/5): - Fresh breakfast
- Hamleth (8/5): - .
- Rusty (10/5): - Our 9 days at Casa Cha Cha Cha were nothing short of magical. From the very first morning, Estella and Gady welcomed us with such warmth, preparing delicious breakfasts and treating us with a kindness that made us feel like family.
The home itself is beautifully decorated and landscaped, but what took our breath away each day was the view. In San Juan del Sur, sunsets are an event — and from Casa Cha Cha Cha we had the best seats in town. Every evening, the sky turned into a masterpiece of color, and sitting there watching it unfold became one of the most cherished parts of our trip.
It felt like home, only with the beauty of the ocean before us and the kindest hosts beside us. Leaving was truly bittersweet. Casa Cha Cha Cha is not just a place to stay, it’s a place to feel cared for, inspired, and connected. We will always carry the memory of those sunsets and the hospitality of Estella and Gady in our hearts.
- Graciela de Jesús (10/5): - La atención es un 11/10, el lugar muy bonito
- Mohammad (10/5): - Great view. Very friendly staff but they need to have a better way of transportation. It is NOT a walkable place. Need to have a 4X4 to get to it.
- Valeria (10/5): - Nice
- Welldys Anatony (10/5): - Todo bien solo el acceso faltan rotulaciones
- Jason (10/5): - We stayed here for two nights during our stay in San Juan Del Sur, and we loved the property and the staff working at the bed-and-breakfast were amazing.
They were very accommodating and the breakfast in the morning was delicious. The pool was also great and a really relaxing time to lay out and catch some sun. The only problem is that it was located on top of a very steep hill so I would recommend to rent a car if you can.
- Annie (6/5): - Bel accueil.
J’ai passé seulement quelques heures à l’hôtel pour dormir. Beaucoup de bruit en provenance de la section piscine. Je pouvais aussi entendre les gens dans l’autre habitation.
- Sandor (8/5): - Very nice place and service thank you
- Everett (2/5): - I arrived to the property at 1 and my check in was at 3pm. There was no reception area even those it is listed as a hotel and no one was at the property for me to drop off my bags and return at 3. I was able to enter the tthrough the unlock front door and walk around. For this reason I did not feel safe ataying at the place because there was a complete lack of security.
Because the hostel( not a hotel) is on such a steep incline it would have been very difficult getting to the town to buy food and go to the beach. I would not recommend staying at Casa CHa CHa Cha and regret making a reservation for 3 days. O ended having to stay at another hotel and lost all of my money because they refused to reimbuse me even tjough I did not stay there.
The property is on a very steep incline and the car I was in began to slide back when attempting to reach the final landing. We had to drive around to another entrance.
- Jose (10/5): - Great Place to Relax !!!!!!
- Luisa (10/5): - The staff. Very helpful and nice.
Wendy Cordoba is the best.
- Bonnie (8/5): - the set up is very comfortable and we liked having the privacy of a small set up with very few guests.
Bed is super comfy too and I loved the out door tub with a spectacular view.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Amazing. Beautiful deck and house. Away from the noise but these party is only a five minute walk to the beach. Amazing.
- Monica (8/5): Gorgeous view, Good customer service - I ended up not staying at this location due to some confusion with check-in but the customer service following this confusion was outstanding. The manager was kind and respectful and clearly cares about doing the right thing. Photos are accurate - the property is gorgeous. Located on a very steep hill so transportation is necessary (despite google maps report of being able to walk to town -- it's probably possible but would be extremely strenuous even for a very fit person and you need to go through a local residential area which may not be the best idea for visitors; after a certain point, the road is secured by a security guard). Perfect spot for someone who wants to have a quiet, relaxing, and low-key experience with a beautiful view & pool (the pool!) and plans to stay on-site.
- Francois (8/5): - Wonderful view, comfort, cleaness. Nice rooms well equiped and confortable.
The room we had was too close to the central air conditionning system and we could ear the compressor too well.
We had a problem finding the place since it is unknown by some taxi drivers and if they know the place it will cost you between 7 to 10 US$ to get up the mountain and again to get back down, if you don't want to walk the distance to and from the city. This will had to your stay. We walked down and taxied up, since it is such a steep road, to minimize costs.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Amazing stay!! - A hidden gem! The perfect little getaway. The staff there were so kind and went above and beyond to make my stay pleasant! I will definitely be returning!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Beautiful place to stay - very clean, modern. Fantastic view. Good breakfasts. However - very long, steep drive up to hotel - would not recommend this place if you don’t have a vehicle or not willing to pay for taxi to drive you back up.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very nice room and facility. Very clean. The pool was very nice too and the staff was great-delicious breakfasts. Best of all was the view of the harbor, beach and town below. As the management says in their description the road is too steep for most people to walk back and forth to town
- Rhonda (10/5): - Beautiful location overlooking the bay. Friendly and helpful staff. Extremely comfortable bed.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - What a nice place. I was there for just one night but it was perfect for me. Frank had someone pick me up in town, and brought me to directly to my room overlooking the SJDS bay. What a view! What I also liked was the privacy of my own deck and terrace - complete with outside bathtub! Although the swimming pool isn't huge, its just what I wanted. I took 4 dips in the 18 hours I was there. All and all a great experience and great value. Go Nicaragua!
