- joven (10/5): The best hotel and location to switch off your brain & relax. - We loved the whole hotel setup, it was the quietest place ever and this is what we were looking for, it was relaxing, we could hear the birds wake up and the sun rising, the staff and chef were very respectful and kind, i recommend this hotel a 1000%. I liked everything, the hotel had everything we expected.

- Piet (7/5): Good - New lodge with large rooms with splendid views on the lake. Somewhat remote, only accessible by boat from the jetty close to Birdnest Lodge. Staff clearly lacks hotel service experience. Food was rather basic in small portions.
- Alexandra (9/5): Lake Bunyonyi Rock Resort is a quiet retreat for a relaxing stay. - My king room with a lake view was lovely - roomy, and extra bed for luggage placement, shelving in the bathroom. The view was the most serene of our two week Uganda tour. The boat ride to the resort because the road was washed out was an added bonus . The food was very good, too. Unfortunately, the toilet in our room leaked and wreaked so we had to change rooms to smaller accommodations, but the view was still as good - lake, mountains, mist!

- Mateja (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was amazing and we would especially want to point out Bruce, who took great care of us. Kitchen/food is more than high-level. We enjoyed in beautiful nature and kindness of people, which cannot be easily found. Getting there by road is not recommended. We propose to use alternative access by motor boat.

- Liani (8/5): Very good - Beautiful and serene spot with attentive staff. Comfy bed and decent mosquito net that actually covers without making you feel claustrophobic. Food was wholesome. The road to get there is awful! Do not rely on either google maps nor maps.me. They had no signage on the road with the other resorts which added to the challenge. However, a staff member told us they had ordered new ones so this shouldn’t be a problem in the coming weeks. Lake Bunyonyi gets quite cold and the common area is all open air which I didn’t love - so definitely bring an extra layer of clothing.

- JillC (8/5): - The property was in a very relaxing area (once you get there! The roads are awful.) Beautiful Lake! The lodging was adequate and it really wouldn’t take a lot to make the rooms stunning. Little things like outlets in weird places, small holes in the walls from moving outlets, bathroom mirror too low to be useful. What WAS amazing about this place was the restaurant! Incredible food! We were greeted upon arrival with hot towels, popcorn, juice and cookies. Another huge asset was the staff! Everyone was so sweet! The chef even baked my husband a birthday cake. One big issue we had though was the credit card machine wasn’t working when we checked out! The room had been previously paid for through Expedia. We had food and drink bills for 4 people for 3 days as well as 2 boat rentals! We were panicking when we were told that we would have to pay cash at check out. So I guess if you stay there, take cash along! We weren’t prepared for that, it left us pretty short on cash.
