• Lucy - (7/5): Low cost option in Kanazawa - Owner was very friendly and lovely to speak with. Shower was strong. Location to Higashi-chaya is very convenient. Booked the small japanese style room and it wasn't clear to me during booking that there was no window to the outside. It was just a partition with sliding doors off the main public area, with no lock, so when the lights were on in the main space in the evening it completely lit up my room (until midnight!) since there was no privacy curtain.
• Paula (6/5): no volvería - el barrio en el que estaba es muy bonito pésima atención de la recepcionista llegué con lluvia toda mojada y de noche y no se asomó ni a mirar solo grita desde adentro para que ingrese hasta donde ella estaba una habitación común , además la habitación que me tocó colindaba con esta sala común supuestamente a las 22 -23 hora ya no se usaba pero la misma recepcionista se quedó una de las noches viendo películas hasta tarde conversando y riendo

• Kinuyo (7/5): 旅費を節約するには最高で、宿泊施設として必要十分。 - 金額がお得。駐車場がある（でも狭いので、前が少し道路に飛び出したが） 小さな宿なので、団らんできるような場所がなかった。一応居間？的なところはあるが、スタッフさんが仕事？をしているようなので、そこでくつろいでいいのかはわからなかった。

• Tomáš (5/5): All the basics but huge caveat - - it has all the facilities needed - REALLY good location - literally next to everything - tourists could say it's a "traditional" building, but it's just a hostel-made house from the Edo period - the Japanese owner was really nice and helpful whenever we needed him, a really talkative fella - free parking space BEHIND the house - beds are futon - i personally like it Equipment that's there and that's not: Shampoo/conditioner/soap: yes Towels: none / for 100yen one that's size of a palm Tooth brush or any small bathroom equipment: none (it's a guest house, not a hotel) - price is paid ON SPOT in CASH !!!! - the owner wasn't there with us, but he left his friend there for us that spoke no language but Mandarin. - He was always in the common area watching movies, and literally living there with us.making the common space unusable - the place is literally just to go to sleep at night, we cannot hang out in the house at all because of the guy (i don't know if he was just a guest or something, but he took the money and checked us in... Even talked to the owner in chinese.) - the bathtub is also unusable as it's missing a plug - when asked about it, the guy simply said "not for use" - shower use is limited until midnight - rooms look a bit unclean (nothing serious though, mostly just dust) -- paper thin walls (as expected of such a house - literally ZERO privacy) - there is no lock on the main door or anywhere else - on the last night, we think we found a bed bug (look-wise and for the fact that it released red liquid when squished) - I personally don't think it's an infestation, i couldn't find anything else apart from that one bug, it could have just been from the outside [attached photo] (To sum it all up, it wasn't that bad... It's actually enough for a budget stay with all the necessities. We just might not have been very lucky with the timing)

• Ryota (10/5): 金沢の優しい雨 - 冬の夜、たどり着いた際に「ここが宿泊地だとは！」と思うほどに眩しく感じたその佇まい。優しい灯りが待ち合いの広間を、それそれは優雅に見せてくれました。 とくにありません。
• Julia (8/5): The staff were very friendly - I loved talking to the staff! They were so nice and easy to talk to. The shared space was a good area to talk to other lodgers and the staff. There are a few restaurants and convenience stores within a 5-10 minute walk. It was only a 10 minute walk from the chaya shopping street, but the garden and castle were kind of far to travel to to. There is a bus stop only a 2-3 minute walk from the building. The bedding was definitely thin and made it difficult to sleep. I also had some problems with charging my phone since I was on a top bunk. The bathroom and room is quite small, but that wasn't a big issue for me.

• Jay (6/5): Adequate - Location was good and was a nice traditional style guesthouse. The mattresses were quite thin, even compared to other futon mattresses I have slept on previously.
• Evgeniia (5/5): A sad cramped student dorm - Near the historical part, cheap, polite staff The place didn't feel like a hostel, rather like a homestay in a student dorm, but in a very sad one - no conversations, no laughter, everyone in their phones. The common area is very small and cramped with backpacks/suitcases and things of the people living there long-term, and they were always there, so it didn't feel inviting and shared. Basically there was just one tiny couch free sometimes, which would be too small to share with someone you don't know. At night, sometimes some of the staff were sleeping in the common room on the floor, so the common area couldn't be used in the evening neither. There was just 1 toilet without a sink and one shower for like 15 people, so be prepared to start your day by washing your face over someone's yesterday dinner lunch rests in the kitchen sink. There are also no lockers or individual power sockets The beds were very hard The toilet rug hasn't been washed in ages

• ヨハネ (6/5): ゆっくり休めました。 - ご飯やお風呂は外で済ませたが、のんびりする分には充分な広さがあった。他の口コミにあるような布団が硬いなどといったことは全く感じなかった。よく眠れた。 古民家で壁が薄いので他の人の声が聞こえる点だけは留意しておいた方が良い。ただ、気にするほどではなく、良くないとまではいかない。
• Iole Chiara (6/5): - La struttura è in una buona posizione, è pulita. Va bene per un viaggio breve. Abbiamo alloggiato nella stanza doppia in stile giapponese al piano terra. Il futón in realtà erano dei materassini sottilissimi uno sopra l altro, davvero scomodi. Per non bastare qualcuno alle 5 del mattino si è alzato e si è asciugato i capelli, la stanza ha le pareti di cartone essendo in stile giapponese, quindi ci ha svegliato.

Por la noche cuando intentamos dormir, hablaban mucho y alto, al ser las paredes de papel ni siquiera los tapones bastaban. Les pedimos que bajaran el volumen pero aunque al principio lo hicieron, no tardaron en volver a tener el tono del principio.

De l'autre côté du "mur" il y avait le salon de la guesthouse, autant dire qu'on peut suivre les conversation depuis la chambre. Des matelas tellement usés qu'on touche le sol en dormant. Une hygiène qui laisse à désirer (grandes tâches sur le mur, aliments dans l'évier). Des loquets de porte cassé (salle de bain et toilettes) et un lavabo dans les toilettes hors service. Une chambre qui ne ferme pas à clé. Pas serviette à disposition, sinon il faut payer et là taille de serviette est ridicule.

• MAYUMI (3/5): - 最初な日が楽しかった位ですね。 どなたがスタッフさんとか良く分からないですし、スタッフさんも一緒に寝る形なのが吃驚しました。 後、矢張り外人さんなのもあって無愛想？宿泊してる身としてはもう少しなにかこう...フレンドリーまでは望みませんが住み込みだから自分の家！感じゃないのが欲しかったような気がします。

Sound insulation could be better but that tends to be a problem at older Japanese houses. So minding your noice levels is recommended.
• YUKO (6/5): - 古民家リノベーションなだけあって、佇まいは大正レトロで古都の雰囲気。金額と立地からすれば高評価でも良いかも。 セキュリティとか他人との距離感取りたい人には厳しいかも 共同トイレだし、洗面所とお風呂は有るけど共同でシャワーのみ利用可です。 すぐ近くに銭湯（温泉！）があるのでそちらの利用をオススメします。

Es cierto que se escucha absolutamente todo lo que pasa alrededor de la casa, pero para nosotros no fue un problema. Las dos noches que pasamos, los demas huespedes se ducharon por la noche, por la mañana no hubo ruido, y alrededor de las 11 de la noche ya todo estaba en silencio. Hemos descansado muy bien en este sitio. Además la limpieza de las zonas comunes fue de 10

• Michel (1/5): Le pire que j'ai rencontré - Le WC toto Le staff est composé de 5 à 6 personnes Taïwannaises qui sont logées en échange de leur travail. Le pseudo salon, la pseudo cuisine et le frigo sont donc occupés et peu de place reste disponible aux clients. Le personnel est peu aimable faisant le strict nécessaire. Pas de politesse à la japonaise, pas de bonjour, aucune question sur votre séjour, ne se déplace pas quand vous naviguez dans le salon car elles sont toutes occupées sur leur smartphone.. j'ai négocié une couverture supplémentaire pour ne pas avoir froid la nuit car le membre du staff qui dormait dans le dortoir préférait dormir la fenêtre ouverte (10 degrés dehors). Le matelas est très fin, pas de prise, ni de lumière ou de tablette dans le lit. Le lavabo des toilettes est à réparer depuis longtemps, un rideau de douche pourrait être ajouté, le frigo plein devrait être dégivré, des étagères pourraient être installées dans le coin cuisine pour la desencombrer, des chaussons pourraient être disponibles vu qu'il faut enlever ses chaussures, du thé et du café pourraient être proposés, des multiprises disponibles et le personnel devrait être payé pour être motivé.... mais je rêve sûrement.

Gal kiek trūko privatumo, nes gyvenome kambaryje prie tualeto, dušo ir virtuvės, o sienos ir durys labai plonos, tačiau suprantame, kad čia toks pačio namo tipas, tad viskas tvarkoje 😊

• Eriko (7/5): 異文化体験 - 安い。今回、久しぶりに会う人の家に歩いて行けるところだった。 ゲストハウスというところを体験できて面白かった。 ワーキングホリデーで働いているというスタッフの台湾人の女の子が頑張っていて可愛かった。息子と同じ歳だった。利用客のマナーが良く、夜静かだった。 タオル100円と書いてあることに気づいたのが、帰り際だった。タオルを持っていけばよかったと思った。キッチンの様子がわかっていれば、朝、簡単に調理するための材料を持っていった。浴室のお湯は出たが、洗面所は出なかったと思う。寒かった。
