• Alison (10/5): Fabulous place to call home for a holiday in Gallipoli - This is probably the best apartment we've rented. On the 4th floor of a smart building, it is spacious, stylish & well equipped. The large terrace has a lateral sea view and morning sun. Clean, well equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, full cooker (electric hob & oven), microwave, nespresso machine, toaster. Condiments provided. The bed was comfortable and had nice cotton bedding. We slept really well. No noise from neighbouring apartments. There was plenty of storage in all the rooms too. The location is perfect, just a few minutes walk from the bridge over to the historic centre of Gallipoli. We had no problem finding a free parking space right outside the building (in March). Underneath the apartment block are two classy restaurants overlooking the sea. We had lunch on arrival in the Italian – sublime grilled swordfish and grilled mixed vegetables. We enjoyed walking onto the island for a sundowner at Il Faro. Lunch was good there too. Everything was perfect.

• claudio (1/5): It's not worth it - It is close to old town Communication with the host is terrible. I requested a dish towel and an umbrella. He simply ignored my request. SILENCE WAS THE RESPONSE. The bathroom lacks amenities. Poor-quality towels.

• Michael (10/5): Great unit, great view, great host - This apartment was beautifully decorated in new building with a great view of the water. Three restaurants right in the building and easy to walk to old town and shopping. Our host gave us the most detailed and helpful arrival instructions that we have ever received for a vacation rental use them quite a bit. He was quick to respond when contacted and gave us great recommendations. You won't be disappointed if you stay here. Nothing not to like.

• Graham (5/5): Finding parking was stressful but otherwise it was an ok stay - Location and currently has a good outlook Difficult to find non payment parking. Disappointed it was a no show host. Not sure where the warm Italian welcome has gone but we found that quite a few serving in the restaurants and shops in Gallipoli were indifferent towards customers.
