Guest Reviews
- mark (10/5): Good place - The breakfast was amazing and the room was clean
- Gareth (6/5): - Tired venue in need of a refit. Passable room, good for quick stop-over
- PRABHDEEP (10/5): - Very nice clean place
- Venkateshwaran (8/5): - Well located property. Front desk is great. The breakfast is served in a makeshift marriage hall and is not on time. The menu is limited. The restaurant does not function.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Fine place, but overpriced. I’m also fairly certain I got bed bugs here… there were odd patterns of seemingly tiny dead bugs, and I think it has carried with me to the next hotel.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very good. Very good breakfast. Value for money. Clean facilities
- Paul (8/5): Clean, well presented hotel - Stayed just the night. Very clean and as my room was at the back, quiet. Staff looked after me in the restaurant. Hotel does not serve alcohol :(
- N (10/5): Very pleasing hotel. - Stayed for 4 days.Extremely courteous n helpful front n travel desk.At centre of town.Menu very limited,but ok.
- Nageswaran (10/5): Easily accessable - Nice and friendly reception. Neat and clean rooms. Decent breakfast. Close to all important places. Easily accessable. Good car parking. On the whole good hotel
- Mukkavilli (8/5): Comfortable Stay - The hotel is located near the railway station and bus stand with commute options. No Ola & Uber yet!
The food served restaurant is so so. The breakfast buffet is limited. Service needs improvement. Hotels.com charged me double the rate for the third night. Need to be careful!
- Susan (6/5): ok for a one night stay - Although this hotel was rated as "Fabulous" in European standards it definately wasn't. Staff were great, friendly and helpful. The hotel was very dated, both furniture and fixtures were very old - wardrobe, sideboards and couches in reception area. there was a weird set up in the room, for dining.
- Jamie (8/5): Good choice for a night - We were in Alleppey to see the Kerala Backwaters and the Treebo Palmyra is conveniently located to Alleppey train station and the Finishing Point where you can board the various boat options to your the backwaters. I would say one or two nights is enough to stay here and see all the main sites including Alleppey Beach and the lighthouse. The staff at the hotel were amazingly lovely and accommodating however the food at the restaurant is not great and recommend you eat elsewhere. Also we didn’t realise that the bathroom is more like a traditional wet room with no separation for the shower so the whole bathroom can get and stay wet for a while which is inconvenient.
- Candace (10/5): Slice of heaven in Alleppey! - What a slice of heaven in a crowded busy street. A beacon of civility and a/c delight. The staff especially the manager (district I think) went out of their way to accommodate me. Spotlessly clean, large rooms, toiletries, excellent breakfast All you can drink coffee, tea, newspapers, cable TV with English channels. Excellent price from Hotel.com. BOOK THIS Treebo hotel in Alleppey.
- SydneyTraveller (6/5): Good for Local tourists - Booked this place at the last minute on the way from Munnar (The Fog 5*) to Trivandrum. This is just ok for Western tourists as it appear to cater to locals. Poor choice at breakfast and staff aloof to needs of guests.
- Alexander (10/5): - Very nice hotel (clean, big, comfortable, with a/c), affordable price, and very nice and accommodating staff who helped us with figuring out how to get to where we needed to go without much fuss. Location is good in the sense that its between the beach and the houseboats, but not super-walkable to the downtown area or either the beach/houseboats (though this is not really an issue). Breakfast could be a little better, but overall excellent, especially for price.
- geoff (8/5): Tree palmyra grand suits hotel - Easy checkin without a million registration questions to fill in. Friendly staff that escorted you to the room. Large modern suit with a sitting area and walk in shower bathroom, all spotless. The restaurant is quite basic but had dinner on the first night and food was very tasty, for the price we paid about £6 it was fantastic value for money. Overall it is impossible to give any negative feedback because of the price we paid. It has got to be one best value for money hotels around this area.
- james (10/5): Excellent stay. - Absolutely wonderful team of people from the manager all the way through the staff.
I was very happy with my stay even though the cyclone hit and the weather was not very good.
The manager made many, many calls to find out if any smaller boats were going out on the backwaters but only the large houseboats were allowed to two of the days :-(
But they did organise two wonderful trips for me on two different boats whilst I was there. One doing the main canals all the boats do and then one doing the much smaller canals which are far more interesting.
The food was excellent. I was certainly happy and added an extra night to make 4 in total.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Okay for a night - Great puzzles. Room smelled weird. Bad layout. Annex room could use more decor
- sheila (8/5): Ok for the money - Bed lovely. Area busy and no places to eat. We ate at hotel. Ok but slow.
- Kisho (8/5): Good value for the money - Amazing hotel for the price, was better than what I expected I have been to treebo hotels before but this one was far the best.
