• NavigatorAnt (7/5): Nice pool, spa, bbq and gym area - Great pool, spa, gym & BBQ area. Lovely grounds which were maintained nicely. The ants - there is an ant problem which was obvious as soon as we walked in. We stayed for 4 nights and did not have enough basic supplies for 4 days (dishwasher tablets, ice, tea, coffee etc). When paying this much for accommodation, we expect the room to have the basics supplied each night (as we are paying the same on night 4 as we did on night 1). The driveway needs maintenance and some basic maintenance is required inside the villla also. These small details detracted from the stay for us.
• Gay (5/5): Lovely position, needs maintenance and more care by owner managers. - The pool and spa areas lovely. The view was glorious. The kitchen was very well provisioned. Bed and pillows suited us. Villa 2 needs maintenance. There were no staff on site so when the blinds didnt work, the 2 tv’s didnt work, the instructions to the safe weren’t for the brand so we couldnt use it. No instructions for the combined washer dryer yet a sign asked us to read the instructions! Despite our best efforts our clothes were washed 3 tines but not dried. I messaged the contact number twice no response. We literally bumped one of the owners day 2 who said she’d get all fixed. She had got my text but hadn’t responded - unacceptable! One rainy afternoon I went to the onsite gym - good weights equipment but no treadmill and the stationery bike was so rusty the seat set for someone about 6foot plus wouldn’t move so no aerobic workout. One of the dining room chairs had a hole in it, the blanket in the lounge had a huge hole and rips in it. The access ‘road’ is narrow gravel and due to the amount of rain was starting to slip away on our 3rd day. No lights for night driving - very dangerous. For nearly $600 a night the above not acceptable.

We especially appreciated the good selection of teas, filtered water, local information, heated bathroom floors and towel racks and all the thoughtful touches to make our stay special. The views were amazing, and each unit was positioned for privacy. I wish we could have stayed longer! The location was difficult to find. Do NOT use Apple Maps… it led us on a lengthy wild goose chase. Google Maps gave us the correct directions, but more detailed information from the manager (perhaps with a map) would have been helpful, as would a readily accessible contact number for help.

• Nes (7/5): It was tranquil and peaceful but was far from everything so you needed a car to get around. - It had a pool but the spa was full of strong chemicals. The villa was tidy and spacious. We were staying for 5 days and was disappointed that the two bedroom apartment did not have a washing machine because we were there for 5 days and needed to wash our clothing and bath towels. Yet the one bedroom had a washing machine. All villas should have access to a washing machine. Without a washing machine we had to use the same bath towels for 5 days. More bath towels were needed for 4 people. Also the shower knob in the ensuite was broken and kept on coming off every time we turned it on. It needs to be repaired.

Bed was so comfy. Heat pump when it got a little chillier in the evenings. The heated pool was such a bonus being able to swim outside in May! The spa was gorgeous heated to 40 so nice to use after a swim. The gym also great well equipped again so clean and modern. We would definitely stay there again. 🤩 Nothing everything perfect 🤩

Perfect for wanting that privacy, the views were beautiful, the accommodation was wow factor and had everything you needed. The extra detail of treats just topped the experience. We were in the spa and pool all the time. The gym facilities were great. Waking up to the sound of native birds, weka walking around was very special. Beautiful surroundings. Andrea and Vicky were so lovely to deal with. They accommodated our requests. Thank you from four friends who will be back next year. Best trip ever. Ngā mihi kōrua 🙏 Everything was great.

• Rod (10/5): Villa 1. Lack of blinds - Exquisitely appointed. Elevated lovely views Blinds on main room triple windows needed for sunny afternoon/evenings. From approximately 3 pm until sunset, we couldn't sit at the table or lounger without being blinded. (14-15 Feb 2024). Also, the reflection of sun in TV made viewing difficult.
• Scott (10/5): I would definitely stay here again. A car is needed as Villa Waiheke is located away from the islands attractions. - Awesome facilities, especially our villa and the swimming pool. Clean, modern, private, great hill top view. There wasn’t anything I didn’t like, but if you’re the type that wants to be in the center of the action, this isn’t for you. It’s secluded and peaceful. No hustle and bustle around this place.

• Federico (10/5): Stylish villa with breathtaking views - Excellent property, excellent size for a couple with impecable taste in decoration. The unit is fully equipped (AC, complete kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine with dryer, pool, terrace with comfy chairs, etc). Super comfortable, you have all the things you may need. The breakfast was exceptional, with variety and plenty of goods been provided when you include the breakfast option. It is located on the top of a hill in quiet and relaxed area. The views from the property are breathtaking, valley, vines, bay, the city far in the horizon. Location has fast access to the village in Oneroa (15-20min) and close to beaches, wineries and nature reserve. Check in / Check Out process is very practical and smooth. Special note to the hosts and their hospitality and flexibility taking care of dietary restrictions when providing the goods for breakfast. Very good access, all paved roads except for final 800m of good condition gravel road. One thing to take into consideration: if you are driving, use Google Maps as it points properly to the exact route to the address, while in Waze it happened that it took us through an alternative route that does not get to the property. We loved everything!!!

Our stay was perfect. Even had local wildlife visit often Sophie! Nothing, close to airstrip but never heard a thing. Off road track may present a problem for some.

Taxi ride there and then you are only a 10 min walk to Batch winwry and explorer hop on hop off stop. 30 min walk down hill to the beach and another restaurant (get a taxi back up as steep!). Walking distance to the ecozip. Most fantastic veiws of the island. The pool grounds and hot tub are great. Excellently equipped new gym.

For this place a car is highly recommended to get around. Only weakness was the unstable wifi which stopped working completely at the end of our stay.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Not flexible, hospitality mentality is lacking - Unflexible with check in and check out times (2pm , 10am respectively). Does it take 4 hours to clean a small villa? If you charge the price of a 4-5 star hotel in an international city, the hospitality mentality to expected to go with it. Failed greatly on this.
