• Philip (1/5): Wouldn’t go back - The property looked fine , but the room was so mouldy that we found it uninhabitable and vacated the room after an hour or so and moved to another hotel . Many hotels around Hoian have mould problems largely due to poor building practices and they are largely locked up over the wet season .

• Ricard (2/5): Una total decepció - El recepcionista ens va ajudar a contractar una moto de lloguer. A l'arribar a l'hotel veiem que hi ha un edifici en construcció just al costat. Llavors la piscina s'ubica entre els dos. Òbviament estava impracticable, tota plena de pols de les obres, i estava tancada. Nosaltres ens quedàvem tres nits, i durant el check in el recepcionista va mencionar que dita piscina está a fora de servei, però que havien parlat amb el propietari de l'hotel i els obrers i que en dos dies vista s'hauria netejat tot, s'haurien cobert els andamis de les obres i estaria tot operatiu. Com és obvi, quan vam fer el check out, la piscina estava tan operativa com al principi, es a dir, plena de brutícia. El més greu és que el recepcionista ens va mentir, fent-nos creure una cosa que sabia que mai passaria. Una mentida. A part d'això, l'esmorzar és força fluix, on els sucs són industrials i no hi havia aigua embotellada. En quant a l'habitació, era una estança tant antiga com l'hotel, que tenia algunes esquerdes a les parets, els mobles se'ls veia tacats de productes de neteja mal aplicats, el bany s'inundava tot per culpa de que la dutxa no evacuava, i el balcó estava sempre ple de pols per les obres. La nota d'aquest establiment de booking no reflecteix ni molt menys la realitat.

Posizione ottima e tranquilla, il centro é raggiungibile in bici in meno di 10 minuti (le bici sono messe a disposizione dalla struttura e sono gratuite). La nostra camera era bellissima, spaziosa e pulita. Colazione buona. Nel complesso ottimo soggiorno e ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

Nam had been great in planning our activities and sightseeing. No hot water. We had to ask to get hot water. We manage to get it after asking. However tje day after we had cold/ water again. The hotel room had a strong musty smell, probably due to poor ventilation.

• Lauryn (9/5): - Loved how friendly the staff were. The owner, Nam, was so helpful. He organised everything for us from start to finish and was so accommodating. He facilitated a seamless airport collection and drop off, laundry service and the coconut boat tour with a driver there and back. The room was always clean and well maintained. It was also very spacious and had a nice view. The included breakfast was also very good and convenient. There was very little we didn’t like about the property. There was construction next door which prevented us from using the pool but we got an apology from the staff about this and this felt like a minor issue. There was fairly minimal noise from the construction during the day.

• Isabel (8/5): Wonderful stay made better by lovely staff - We really enjoyed our stay at Ivy villa, the staff were very friendly and a particular shoutout to who I think is the owner who helped us with booking activities, renting a scooter, sending a parcel home and booking our onwards travel. The rooms were very clean and a good size, bathrooms the same. Only slight downsides to the hotel is the building next door is undergoing maintenance so that can be heard all day and it also means the pool is unusable as the dust gets into it and it is completely exposed to the builders so there is no privacy there, once the maintenance is finished this won’t be an issue at all though. Only other thing is that the TV’s aren’t smart tv’s so you can only watch Vietnamese shows on it.

• Tania (7/5): Good hotel but not a 4 star - The room was comfortable and I appreciated the breakfast a la carte to order 1 easy before, although I would expect also a small buffet, at least for drinks. Location is good, 1.5km off from the busy Hoi An center (25 min. walking or a few minutes by Grab) and 4.5km to the beach, an easy bike ride offered by the accommodation for free. Nice spas and coffee bars nearby. Unfortunately the pool is now 20 cm away from a construction site (!) and definitely not private or appealing :( that's a pity! Receptionists are a bit absent and more focused on their smartphones than on the guests, not really professional.

Un fortunately the swimming pool cannot be usef due to some construction going on next door but should not be for much longer. Great location, 20 minute walk into town. Shame about the pool.
• Baptiste (8/5): Séjour agréable à Ivy Villa - L’hôtel est idéalement situé au centre de tout, des vélos sont à disposition gratuitement pour se déplacer ce qui est vraiment top ! La chambre était très bien également, 2 petites bouteilles d’eau et café/thé offerts tous les jours dans la chambre. Le petit déjeuner était sur commande parmi une sélection la veille avec la possibilité de prendre autant qu’on voulait, sans limite. La piscine était hors service lors de notre séjour à cause de travaux sur le bâtiment voisin, nous avons été prévenus le matin de notre arrivée malheureusement. Nous avons également demandé à laver et repasser notre linge mais celui-ci n’a pas été repassé (45.000 dongs par kg).

Breakfast: 5 stars, a personalized menu that you fill out daily Bicycles provided. Currently the pool (the cover photo of the entire property) is closed and filled with construction debris. They acted like it’s a surprise to them, but this has clearly been going on since at least January based on other reviews. While the work hours aren’t too bad, there is pretty constant construction noise throughout the day. Location: 2 stars, faces a busy road, so the river/balcony view is really just a noisy street. Long walk to old town with several places where you have to walk in the street because the sidewalk is occupied by construction or parked vehicles. Considering how far away the location is from actual old town, I’d book somewhere else for the same price.

• Laura Theet (9/5): Vi havde et skønt ophold hos Ivy Villa i Hoi An, det var helt fantastisk! - Vi blev mødt af et venligt personale, som var hjælpsomme til at give os råd og anbefalinger til byen. Vi kunne låne gratis cykler af hotellet, jeg vil dog ikke anbefale at cykle inden i den gamle bydel, da der er mange mennesker, så hellere parkere cyklen inden. Morgenmaden var helt fantastisk og frisklavet, det var så lækkert! Og dejlige bløde senge, som man kender hjemmefra! De er lige nu i gang med at renovere et hus ved siden af, hvilket har sat poolen ud af brug. Vi fik at vide at den ville være klar inde for to dage, men den blev aldrig klar i løbet af de 5 dage, vi opholdt os på hotellet… Der er ca 15-20 min gågang ind til den gamle bydel, men med cyklerne blev det gjort lidt kortere

A special mention must go to Nam, the manager, who was absolutely outstanding. From the moment we arrived, he was warm, attentive, and consistently went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. During our time at the hotel, we unfortunately witnessed a situation involving another guest who was behaving in a very erratic and immature manner. What stood out most to us was how professionally and calmly Nam handled the situation. He remained composed, respectful, and focused on maintaining a positive environment for all guests, which we greatly appreciated. It was a clear reflection of his experience and dedication to excellent service. Nam was without a doubt the highlight of our stay. His genuine care, attention to detail, and commitment to guest satisfaction made a lasting impression on us. It is rare to encounter someone who takes such pride in their role, and it truly elevated our entire experience. We also thoroughly enjoyed the breakfasts each morning. The food was delicious, fresh, and a perfect way to start the day. We would not hesitate to return, and a large part of that decision is thanks to Nam and the exceptional service he provided. Highly recommended. The pool was closed due to construction.

• MICKAEL (7/5): - Il est possible d'emprunter des vélos, directement à l'hôtel, pour se balader. Ce qui est bien appréciable pour aller à la vieille ville ou à la plage. Nam, le gérant, est bienveillant et de bons conseils. Une nouvelle construction est en cours à 2m de l'hôtel, littéralement 2m. Nous avons donc été réveillés tous les matins par le bruit des travaux. La chambre était ok, mais le ménage avait laissé quelques moutons et insectes à notre arrivée.

Die Ausstattung im Zimmer wirkte etwas abgenutzt, die Zimmer haben etwas komischen gerochen.
• Fanni Veronika (10/5): Comfortable hotel to explore Hoi An - We had a great stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, thanky to Nam,, which made the whole experience even better. The room was very clean and comfortable, with a great bed that ensured a good night’s sleep. The bathroom was excellent as well, with a spacious shower that we really appreciated. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, with a good variety of options. The location is also very convenient—about a 2 km walk to the old town—so it’s close enough to reach easily while still being in a relatively quiet area. The only small downside is that there is currently construction next door, which can be quite noisy during the day. However, they don’t start early in the morning, so it didn’t disturb us at all.
• Jenna (10/5): - Great room, very comfortable bed. The staff were very friendly, they went above and beyond for us.. Breakfast was very good and we made great use of the bikes to explore. Nothing.
• Alba (9/5): - Fueron muy amables con nosotros, se preocuparon de que la colada estuviera lista en el mismo día incluso. La habitación y el hotel en si, estan bien. Desayuno abundante. Unicamente la localizacion, quiza un poco alejada de todo el centro. La piscina aun recien llena, no parecia lo mejor. Obras al lado.
• Clement (10/5): - Nous avons tout aimé : de l'emplacement de l'hôtel, à la chambre, de la possibilité d'emprunter gratuitement des vélos en passant évidemment par la gentillesse de Nam et de son équipe. Tout a été parfait pour nos deux nuits. Nam nous a donné de superbes conseils, notamment un atelier pour faire du café ainsi qu'une adresse pour les robes sur mesure. Il nous a également conseillé pour la suite de notre voyage, nous le remercions grandement ! Nous avons TOUT apprécié
• Veronica (8/5): The staff were very friendly and very helpful. - Breakfast was well served. Bikes were available and convenient. I had expected the room would have had a small balcony. It was unfortunate that the pool was out of use and building work was taking place adjacent to the hotel.

• Jef (10/5): - Ontbijt, Nam was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam, schone kamers en goede douche Zwembad was spijtig genoeg kapot, maar daar konden ze niet aan doen natuurlijk
• Mick (8/5): Super fijne locatie met een warm ontvangst en een comfortabel verblijf - De behulpzaamheid van Nam; we zijn echt heel warm ontvangen, hij gaf ons een welkomstdrankje en fijne tips. Het ontbijt was echt super! Je kon eten wat je wilde. De kamer werd elke dag schoongemaakt Het was jammer dat het zwembad leeg was, dat moest gerepareerd worden geloof ik.
• Kevin (10/5): - Absolut fantastisches Hotel! Die Zimmer sind sauber und werden jeden Tag gereinigt, die Auswahl vom Frühstück ist groß und man kann so viel auswählen, wie man will. Die Altstadt ist in 10 bis 15 Minuten fußläufig erreichbar, somit ist die Lage ideal. Man ist etwas Abseits vom Trubel, kann aber jederzeit problemlos hin laufen. Das Personal ist überaus freundlich und bemüht es jedem Gast recht zu machen und man wird in allen Fragen , Anliegen oder Wünschen bestens unterstützt. Generell herrscht dort eine Atmosphäre, in der man sich wohl und willkommen fühlt. Es gibt einen Waschservice, einen Scooterservice und kostenlose Fahrräder. Alles in allem ein 10 von 10. Sollte ich nochmal nach Hoi An kommen, dann werde ich definitiv wieder dort übernachten!

• Khristine Anne (10/5): Perfect! 100% would come back. - Nam, the manager, was so accomodating to us. He helped us regarding what attractions to visit, what restaurants to eat at and even helped us with booking tours and transportation. He replies very quick whenever we have a query. The accommodation was so clean, staff were friendly, location was perfect and the breakfast was delicious! Would definitely recommend staying here. Nothing! Although the pool was out of service, it didn't affect our stay at all.
• Jvr94 (9/5): - The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom and shower were also big and the shower independent. The personnel were attentive and kind. The breakfast was also delicious. They have bikes that customers can use to go to the old town or anywhere else. The swimming pool was not available and unfortunately there was construction in the building next to the hotel, but it didn't bothered me.

• Nithin (10/5): - We have a really excellent time at Ivy Villa. The staff were fantastic, really friendly and accomodating. Excellent communication prior to us getting there. The room was very spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and very tasty. The free bikes were great an allowed us to explore around the local area freely. -

• alejandro (8/5): Buena relacion calidad precio. - El desayuno bueno , lo eliges un dia antes y puedes escoger lo que sea del menu, la habitacion es comoda en general, hay mucha agua caliente y las camas son agradables. Muy buena atencion de las chicas de la cocina y la limpieza que son las mismas que se encargan de estos servicios. La piscina no estaba en funcionamiento y estaban trabajando en la propiedad de al lado por lo que habia un poco de ruido por la mañana. La ubicacion un poco retirada del centro.
• Weir (7/5): Ok. Woukd be better if pool was working. - ThI staff was friendly. We booked a tour through them to Ba Na Hills and that went smoothly. We selected our choices in the evening and Breakfast was prepared for us each morning. We selected the property largely for the pool. The pool was not available during our stay due to construction next door and the pool being filled with dirt.

• Don (9/5): - Staff were helpful. Breakfast was good. The room was fine.. Free bikes that I used day and night. I arrived late at night and was woken up By building work next door to my room.. The check-in manager moved me to another room. The pool was closed due to the building work.

• Reelika (9/5): Very pleasant stay with a comfortable room and excellent breakfast - A very nice accommodation where the room was comfortable and the bed truly excellent. All basic amenities were in place, and this has great potential to become an outstanding place to stay once the hotel extension is completed, the pool is open, and guests can again enjoy spending time on the terrace. The breakfast option was excellent — you could choose your dishes from a menu, and the friendly staff served everything cheerfully in the morning, which made the start of the day especially pleasant. A good place to stay overall, although the location could be a little closer to the town center 🙂
