I ordered the vegetable omelet repeatedly as it was so good. I would definitely return to this place as it's clean and near everything yet is surprisingly quiet at night that I slept very well. Thank you Umah Anila for your warm hospitality! Water pressure is not too strong but I guess this is quite common in Ubud.

• chen (3/5): - 人很親切，會幫忙搬大件行李到樓上，樓下有小商店很方便，有附早餐 房間很小，行李箱沒辦法完全打開，剛進去就發現廁所垃圾桶沒有垃圾袋、衛生紙，毛巾有污漬根本不敢用，想拿毛巾、結果連同毛巾桿一起掉下來，我說要換房間，給她看毛巾桿的照片，老闆娘笑笑的說It's okay ，是很親切，但說因為房間都滿了所以不給換房間 燈泡後來一閃一閃，插座很少而且位置很不方便，冷氣出風口正對床頭，不管開或關冷氣都很難睡，隔壁一早八點就在施工，前面都算了，那個蓮蓬頭我真的受不了 在蒼古一週都沒事的我，來到這裡就開始拉肚子，也許跟這家旅館無關，可是我沒辦法在這裡好好休養生息，原本要住四天三夜，但實在撐不住，第三天中午就先離開了，我真的無法理解這些高評價是怎麼回事

The guesthouse is close to the center (walking distance) and to plenty of shops and restaurants. Scooter rental available too. I will be coming back. Everything was perfect!

• William (8/5): Convenient and Clean - During my visit to Ubud, I stayed in four different accommodations. Umah Anila was the only one that was dry and mold-free. 🙂 My room was small but comfortable. Noise can be a an issue here as the rooms are close together and share a common balcony.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and we felt very welcomed, beds very comfortable and shower was lovely with great pressure! There’s a lot of space in the room and the fan and AC were much appreciated! We took part in white water rafting which was only a 20 min drive away, and we also climbed mount Batur! Loved our stay in Ubud and would highly recommend this place. Nothing
• Freya (6/5): Great location, good budget option, very kind staff - Great location in central Ubud. You can walk to anything. But still quiet and private because it's down a lane way, away from the street noise. Staff very warm and kind! The room I got was quite dark, in the corner, view was of another wall outside. A lot smaller than the photos. For $30/night you're still doing good, but I booked it for the views over the rooftops that I saw in other people's reviews. I didn't find out if there was breakfast somewhere, but on my second morning there were bananas left for me outside my room which was really nice.

The location in Ubud for us was very good it’s 15 minutes walking to the busier part of the city and quiet enough to relax later in the day. Also has lots of good options for food in the area. 2. The property was very nice the rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. 3. The hosts are a lovely family that treated us very well taking care of us with a lot of attention. • Olguita W (8/5): Budget room near Yoga Barn. Has all the basics you need. - Very central location - I chose this hotel as it was a walking distance to Yoga barn and Radiantly Alive Yoga studio. I was out the whole day so I didn’t need much facilities. What I wanted was a clean bed, a shower and aircon. WiFi was sufficient. Despite being near a very busy central location it was very quiet, so I slept well.

It could use some renovations for sure. Also, make sure you have the right electronics adapter if you stay here or you may have to run into town and get one like I did. Something I didn't mind it but some might say it's a little far from the main stretch in Ubud. Lastly, I'd say it was a bit overpriced.

I loved being up in the rooftops and the sense of calm despite being close to all the busy streets outside. Lovely family and relaxed stay. I recommend it.

The guest house is located in the best part of the street. It's run by a lovely family. They offered us tea and bananas when we arrived. There's also a small market at the guest house entrance where you can easily stock up on essentials like water and beer. The owner loves birds and fish, so waking up to the sound of birdsong was wonderful. It was my first time bringing my mother to Bali, and Ubud was a bit intimidating because of its hustle and bustle. But thanks to the hotel's friendly atmosphere and welcoming atmosphere, she now wants to move to Ubud. Thank you for everything.

• Isabella (10/5): A comfortable stay run by a warm and welcoming family. - Really great, convenient location in the heart of ubud. 10 minute walk to the yoga barn, with lots of places to eat nearby. It was also in a little side street, so nice and quiet for getting to sleep. Depending on what room you get, the ones on the lower level are quite dark inside. The top floors are meant to have excellent views and plenty of light.

Mitten in Ubud, dennoch ruhig mit einem schönen Blick über die Häuser. Das Frühstück war lecker. Durch die dunklen Wohntextilien (blaue Bettwäsche, braune Handtücher) hatten wir generell ein eher schmuddeliges Gefühl, die Handtücher rochen dazu extrem unangenehm und auch das Bad hat seine besten Zeiten schon erlebt.

Ich habe zuerst das einzige Zimmer ohne Aussicht bekommen, nach der Nachfrage habe ein neues Zimmer mit wunderschönen Aussicht über den Dächern Ubuds bekommen. Das Frühstück ist frisch zubereitet und sehr lecker. Kaffee steht parat. Das Bett ist bequem. WLAN in jedem Zimmer. Bad ist sauber. Die ganze Familie ist super freundlich, hilfsbereit und engagiert. • Meeks (10/5): - I loved my stay at Umah Anila and would definitely recommend booking it if you're looking for good value for money. It just has a really nice energy about it and Putu & her family are the loveliest people who will make you feel very welcome. I'm really glad I stayed here and it was really good value too. Amazing they include breakfast too! I loved that there's a fan which a lot of places strangely don't seem to have.. It is a little tricky to get to down a narrow alleyway that is a bit too narrow for cars. That was the only real downside I felt.

They cook amazing breakfast, are welcoming and helpful for anything you need or request. They have a big heart and you can see how they do everything with the heart. Really authentic homestay, quiet and close to everything. The beds are the most comfortable and the view is a dream. Just book it ;) Everything is perfect, there's nothing I didn't like.

• Evgeny (4/5): - Stayed at Umah Anila for 4 nights. Positive: the owners are really nice and friendly as well as the location is good. Negative: this place needs a good renovation - everything is falling apart - the drawers are broken, no hangers, the restroom door wasn't closing (the handle was broken), aircon was leaking on the bed (so I had to turn it off during the night). After addressing these complains to the owners, they said it will be fixed next day, but nothing was done except I've got the hangers. Wouldn't stay there again.

It was an amazing stay, and we loved the location, we walked everywhere, there was no way to get lost the people are all nice and the family where we stayed was very friendly and helpful, they give you your space but if you need anything they are just a WhatsApp msg away. They have a small little tuck shop on the bottom to buy something to drink or eat. The beds are the most comfortable beds that we slept in in our entire 10days trip! I did not book with the breakfast, so cannot say anything about the breakfast but every morning when we wake up there was a flask outside our door with hot water for tea and coffee, there was no milk but when asked they will bring it to you, this was very sweet! It was not the most beautiful place, but we felt like family, and it was more than enough for us, as we were out most of the day for shopping and exploring! We did not need anything more than a very well looked after, comfortable, clean and safe space to sleep! They change the bedding every day and we felt so bad for all that washing, a suggestion will be to change the bedding every 2 or 3 days to safe some work for themselves, but it was good and so comfortable to come home to a clean room! The location is great and walking distance from basically everything! We will definitely be back to stay here again!! We might want 2 towels in the room instead of one. And maybe a bottle of drinking water "free" in the room, a small fridge to put some stuff in and as a lady a full-length mirror :-) Other than that everything was perfect!!

It was simple, clean, and very hospitable. I would gladly stay again. The hosts are a family who could not be more gracious and kind. There is a lovely koi pond that lends a peaceful touch, as well. My curtain rod fell at one point and it was fixed immediately. It is a foam mattress, not spring, which is fine for me. Also, my room was on the third floor and there's no elevator, which might be an issue for some.

Would be nice to have small fridge in the room and a kettle but you get a hot water thermos every morning so it’s ok Curtain in the shower would also be good as all bathroom/toilet gets wet when you shower

• Radu (10/5): Amazing value for money and gracious hosts - As every review seems to mention, the location is indeed great, situated very close to the centre of Ubud, but set back far enough so that the noise of traffic is only a faint sound in the background, never annoying. The view from the majority of the rooms is also great. The picture of the guesthouse from the outside that shows the surrounding buildings can give a good overview of what it's going to be like when you are here. The hosts are very attentive and hospitable. The guesthouse is run by one family. They are very kind and caring people. Rooms are simple, yet clean and comfy. AC works alright. Finally, the value for money is truly remarkable. It might be slightly above average price for an Ubud guesthouse, but it is totally worth it, the quality to price ratio is amazing. The room does not have a kettle, but the hosts can bring a thermos of hot water every morning. Only thing that might be missing is a mini fridge in the room.

Having coffey and breakfast in the morning on the beautiful balcony with (no doubts) the best views in Ubud. Going to Yogabarn just around the corner every day. Staying in a spacious and clean room with good aircon. Sleeping in an extremely comfortable bed with soft sheets. The family here are kind and honest people, who provide an impeccable service to their guests. They picked me up very late the airport. They make me feel so welcomed and cared for. No pressure. Shop on the property. Good warung and a spa next door. These guys seem to be doing everything right and of course I extended my stay! In my experience as a long time solo female traveller this is the best place to stay in central Ubud. With the best views. It is simply luxury on a budget. Nothing

The location is great—central, but quiet, and is super accessible by car or scooter. There are lots of shops, restaurants, and a big supermarket just a 1-2-minute walk away. I loved how everything was within walking distance, which made my time in Ubud even more enjoyable. The breakfast is delicious, simple, and full of vitamins. The rooms are fresh and clean, the bed is really comfortable, and the WiFi works perfectly. There is a very nice view during sunset and sunrise, literally from the room 😊 I highly recommend Umah Anila! It will always be my top choice whenever I visit Ubud again. • Elena (10/5): Perfect location to YogaBarn and central - Excellent location to YogaBarn yet very quiete. Lovely family running it so accommodating and friendly. I recommend to request room 5 is the best corner room on the upper floor with lots of light and rooms 6 and 7 are also great with fantastic views. It’s not really something negative but would be amazing if there was tiny fridge in the room as everything gets spoiled so quickly in hot weather including fruits.

• Elena (10/5): excellent location 5 minutes away from yoga barn by walk and very quiete - excellent location for those who want to be close to yoga barn- 5 minutes walk. off the main street but super quite at night. lovely, especially top floor rooms 5, 6 and 7 with beautiful views of ubud. cleaned daily and lovely hosts. nice breakfast options. good size room. hot shower works well. super value for money. everything was perfect. It would have been nice with small fridge inside the room, but it is not a big deal.

• Marta (10/5): A very nice guesthouse - First, very nice welcoming people. Great view in the morning: at 5-6 am you can 2 volcanos and birds are singing around. Inspiring. The room is quite simple but always clean. Has air-con. I would recommend that place!

• Patricia (6/5): Basic but the location is superb! - The location is perfect! So close to main attractions in Ubud Center, walking distance from coco supermarket, restaurants and monkey forest. Very secure area, even at night in a dark isle. I am a solo traveler and felt secure all the time. The room is basic, good bed, hot water and air conditioning works great. The room has a lock that it is very trickey to manuver, the room is basic, and does not have air conditioning in the bathroom, there is a small window (hot air enters that way) if you leave the door open the room feels humid and clothes smell bad. Towels did not smell good. Shampoo and liquid soap for hands is provide. No hair dryer or extra towel. No mini fridge.
• Vladimir (3/5): It was awful - It was quite clean. Good location of the hotel in the city. I waited 15 minutes for the receptionist. I had booked a large room with a balcony and a city view. In reality, I got a tiny 9-square-meter room with a small window overlooking a wall. Complete deception!
• K (8/5): Simple stay - Cute simple place. Very nice family who owns it. It's basic with your basic needs, nothing fancy. Close to monkey forest & walkable to the main street in ubud. It has a small mini mart attached to it, very convenient. Hot water & ac worked well. Wish they had a small refrigerator & more towels

• Justin (10/5): Wonderful stay in middle of Ubud - Staff very helpful and kind. They helped set up taxi transfers and helped us get ferry tickets. Breakfast very good. Clean, comfortable and big bed. AC worked well to cool the room. Establishment is family run which creates a lovely home-y environment. Walking distance to many sites including the monkey forest, restaurants, shops, and spas. Nice balcony to have breakfast on. No designated shower area in bathroom so most of bathroom got wet during showers. Bathroom was dry by morning though
• Kimberly (10/5): Loved my time at this home stay! - I loved eating breakfast outside, looking out at Ubud. So beautiful and relaxing. Breakfast was filling and tasty. The owners are wonderful! I really enjoyed everything! Perhaps some soap in both the bathroom shower area and the main room sink would have been nice so that I didn't have to keep going back and forth with the soap dispenser. It was a lovely stay there!
• Christa (8/5): - Umah Anila was the first of 4 home stays I used while in Indonesia and it was very nice. The family is lovely, the premises are clean and it is located close to everything in Ubud but not loud (except for the roosters….welcome to Bali!). I enjoyed the banana pancakes and fresh fruit in the morning. I stayed in room 2…. the shower drained, the a/c worked well and the soap and shampoo/cond in pumps is a lovely touch. Yes the linen and towels are showing wear but I found this everywhere in Indonesia. They still work and are clean.
