• Adrienn (10/5): Felejthetetlen élmény - Jó helyen van, csodálatos a kilátás Funchal-ra amivel egész héten nem tudtunk betelni. Jól lehetett közlekedni, fölötte van az autópálya így mindkét irányba jó kiinduló pont. Funchal központja lefelé 20-25 perc séta, felfelé 40 perc: vannak komoly emelkedők, nem árt egy megfelelő cipő és jó kondíció :) De persze autóval / Bolt-al könnyű dolgunk volt. Maga a ház modern, ízlésesen berendezett, kiválóan felszerelt és kényelmes, az ágyban nagyon jól kipihentük az egész napos csavargásokat. A tulajdonos extra kedves és rugalmas, bármit kérdeztünk tőle gyorsan és kielégítően válaszolt, kiegészítve további hasznos tippekkel. Imádtuk Madeirát, amihez a szállás is hozzá tette a maga részét! Az, hogy el kellett hagyni a házat a kijelentkezés napján. :)
• Michael (9/5): Spectacular views from a spacious apartment - The view from the balcony is spectacular. It is reason enough to rent the apartment. It is large enough for 3 or even 4 people. The kitchen is excellently equipped. The host has been supportive and helpful. My taste of interior design differs from the apartment. While I prefer rooms to be as empty as possible, this apartment is richly decorated with art. That is just a matter of taste and neither good nor bad. The area has an issue with dogs. There is a lot of barking and howling in the neighborhood. Private parking is only for smaller cars. An SUV like a BMW X1 cannot park inside the gates.

• Andrii (10/5): Amazing view of Funchal and the ocean and a great host - Staying at Amy's apartment was amazing. The real highlight is, of course, the amazing view that you have of Funchal and the ocean. The apartment has a great vibe and lots of light that make you feel relaxed and happy. In addition to that, Amy is a great host who is doing everything to ensure that your stay is as comfortable as possible. She was very kind in communication and provided highly detailed information, including videos, explaining different facets of the place, such as parking, getting the key, using hot water in the bathroom, etc. I also noticed Amy's great responsiveness in addressing the points for improvement left by some of the previous customers, such as having plenty of toilet paper or paper tissue in the kitchen. In terms of parking, we had a smaller car (Nissan Juke) that was still a bit too large for the parking area downstairs, but there were always parking spaces available in the larger street nearby that we used without any problem (Amy's video explains it). I would love to stay at Amy's apartment next time we are in Madeira! Nothing, maybe the short duration of the stay. I wish we stayed longer :)

• Teresa (10/5): Breathtaking views highlighted a comfortable and homey stay in Funchal! - The views from the property were spectacular! The location close to major roadways was really convenient - especially if you want to get out and explore different parts of the island. The apartment was well stocked with home supplies and the beds and furniture were very comfortable. We didn’t stay in the apartment much of our time because we were busy exploring, but when we were there, it was like home! Communication was easy and our host, Nuno was really helpful! We had pleasant weather, but if it had been much warmer, we would have appreciated air conditioning. Also, a larger stock of toilet paper and a roll of paper towels would be nice.
• Hubert (9/5): Very satisfied with location, will consider returning there. - View from balcony is definitely strong point of this apartment. It is also spacious, with 3 people we did not complain over this. Very fast Internet connection! Very close to bus station (from the Funchal center, the other way is a bit further down). Also good contact with owner when necessary. A lamp in living room could be brighter. Also too soft pillows. But they're minor flaws.
• Shaun (10/5): Thank you so much for giving my daughter and I wonderful memory! - The view was spectacular. The honeymoon was well appointed and equipped with everything we could have needed. Felt like home. We must have been asked 5 times to let them know if there was anything wrong so they could fix it right away. It was a perfect place to stay. What we loved the most: Amazing view of Funchal Extremely comfortable and welcoming Everything was provided from an iron, to utensils. We didn’t realize until the end of our stay, but even local phone calls are permitted and even welcomed The attention that was given to us to ensure a pleasant stay The home is situated close enough to walk into town if you want to. The view, for I mention the view:) I didn’t like that I had to leave! I have nothing negative till contribute. Again, we had a perfect stay.
• Nipuna (10/5): Good staging location for Funchal activities and perfect for a longer stay. - Apartment was very clean with many amenities. Easy access to Funchal downtown and other attractions by bus. Rental car company gave a larger car that was difficult to park nearby. That's a strike to the rental company, not the apartment.
• Philipp (9/5): Comfortable apartment with a great view - Nice and clean apartment with a nice view on the city. Good connection to the centre of Funchal by bus or foot. The apartment has everything you need, is spacious and nicely decorated.

Great and flexible hosting, we’ve really enjoyed the time spent - Whole apartment was well equipped and comfortable, but we’ve specifically adored the balcony view to Funchal harbour and the additional hammock made it even more pleasant. Parking is available most times down the street as the neighbours get home after work hours. Be prepared if that’s an issue for you

• Timothy (9/5): Superb - Location was perfect. Although we never met the host, he was very attentive. We were rather uncomfortable with the lack of air conditioning. It was true that opening all windows gave fresh air and kept the temperature down, but we could not do this at night because of the repeated barking, yapping and howling of the very many dogs around.
• Nahas (10/5): magical - excellent choice for anybody visiting madeira, the view , the facilities, the host exceptional perhaps a bit far from city center , but if u have car its fine, in madeira car is always recommended anyway.cant really complain abt the distance coz the view from there is breathtaking especially at night and during cloudy skies, its just surreal.
• Taras (10/5): Perfect stay with magnificent view - Everything is perfect in this apartment. It has literally everything you may need and a little more. Nuno is a responsive and helpful host. And there is no need to talk about the view - we just had all our home meals at the balcony! It looks amazing. Do not worry about transportation - a bus stop is 1 min away, and Bolt to Funchal Centre would cost you around 4-5 EUR. Nothing.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Another lovely stay at Murteirus Apartment - This is our second stay at Murteirus apartment and won't be our last. Good communication with Nuno the owner. The apartment is emaculately clean, well furnished and comfortable. Quality towels are provided, which in my experience, is not always the case in holiday rentals. The kitchen is well equipped for self catering with quality appliances, though we tend to eat out. The highlight has to be the magnificent views over Funchal from the lounge, double bedroom and the balcony. The walk to/from town is challenging as all of Madeira is. However there is a good bus service at the end of the road and the 7day Giro bus ticket is excellent value at €22. This can be used limitless on the orange buses within the Funchal area including Monte. We averaged less than €1 per trip. Well worth it for the amazing views from the apartment balcony alone which is a treat to sit in over breakfast or a glass of wine in the evening. Be aware that the times on the sign at the bus stop is the time the bus leaves the town centre.
