• Rae (10/5): A perfect beachfront stay at The Kite House with a friendly and welcoming host, a quiet and comfortable room, stunning b - The Kite House is in a perfect location in East Wittering, right on the beach with stunning sea views. It’s peaceful and quiet, and the balcony overlooking the beach was ideal for relaxing and sunbathing. We stayed in the larger room with the sofa, which was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and wonderfully quiet. The location is excellent, with an easy scenic walk into both Bracklesham and East Wittering where there are fantastic eateries, cafés and lovely independent shops to browse around. A perfect coastal stay and we would definitely return. Unfortunately it was too early in the season to swim in the heated pool

• Anja (10/5): Lage Lage Lage - Ein wundervolles Haus am Meer. Wir hatten das Zimmer mit Meerblick und so sollte Meerblick auch sein :-) Es war wirklich schön. Zimmer war gut ausgestattet, wir hatten zum Glück gutes Wetter, da das Zimmer nicht allzu groß ist. Ich habe bei der Buchung nicht gesehen, das kein Frühstück dabei war - man konnte sich aber eine Kaffee oder Tee unten machen. Kekse, Kühlschrank etc. gab es auch für die Gäste. In der Nähe Restaurants und Pub die man über einen kurzen Strandspaziergang gut erreichen konnte.

• Richard (10/5): Great location, comfy stay, nice owner. - Not a conventional hotel (or even B&B) but a fantastic personalised experience, right on the beach. Room only, with a fantastic view and a nice veranda and pool, in a private house (to die for!) run by a lovely lady and her dogs. Getting there involves bit of a maze so pay close attention to your SatNav or Google Maps. No meals are offered, but there are plenty of eateries within reasonable walking distance.

• Erin (9/5): Superb - We had a very nice night at the Kite House, after a busy day in Chichester. It was a treat to go to the sleep to the sound of waves! No difficulties at all, other than the stormy weather when we'd hoped to walk along the beach. But that is to be expected in January!

• Marilyn (6/5): Because of its location, I enjoyed my stay there and would recommend the 2 ensuite bedrooms! - the location was amazing, right by beach, with amazing view also had small swimming pool luxury bathroom my room was in the attic, with no proper door (and no lock), no ensuite (bathroom on different floor), no drawers or wardrobe, no tv in the room, tea and coffee facilities were on ground floor I thought it was vastly overpriced, and inaccurately described on website however Miranda was very agreeable when I expressed my complaints and granted a partial refund

Fabulous views across East Wittering beach towards the IoW, Miranda is the consummate hostess - welcoming and well-travelled, knowledgeable about the local area with great suggestions for where to eat/visit. The house has stunning views looking across East Wittering beach towards the IoW. A recently re-developed property which is light & airy, all mod cons and a really comfy bed, plus plenty of seats & recliners from where to enjoy the sea air/view, enjoy a drink or even take a dip in the heated pool. Beach (pebble) walks and water sports just through the garden gate and at the quiet end of the Witterings. Tea/coffee provided and a mini fridge, there are pubs/eateries and a Tesco Express within walking distance, the latter perfect for picking up those fresh breakfast pastries. Thoroughly recommend!
