Jacqui (8/5): Location was great and great overall value for money - The location was very good, everything was at your doorstep. The staff were friendly and helpful, with no issues in the check in and out process. Also you couldn't notice the bustling street below, which was a pleasant surprise. The sheets while clean, were not actually a fitted sheet or a blanket cover, but just flat sheets underneath and then on either side of the blanket, which wasn't very comfortable when it all came apart in the night.

Even though it has double glazing. The water pressure is extremely weak for showering

Being in the Salamanca environment it was very walkable to the places we wanted to go and it had an air of carefreeness about it.Top Spot Easier use of tv system.Technology usually defeats us but it would have been nice to get some up to date news on awakening..A minor complaiht which did not hinder the benefits of the holiday

Ceri (7/5): Good for a weekend - Location, aspect-morning sun, views, cleanliness, excellent noise- reducing double glazing, comfortable bed, obliging staff. Only a doona- could only sleep comfortably with aircon on 17 degrees all night. Please include a cotton blanket or similar option. In a room for a couple, why only one luggage stand? Include mugs for a decent cuppa. And for a week’s stay, no laundry facility on site or handy- a laundry cum cafe nearby never seemed to be open. Outside windows dirty. A stick-on opaque film on bathroom window so you don’t have to pull down blind and use light in daytime. No ventilation in ensuite. Hooks in ensuite to hang up clothes while showering.

We loved the location close to the city, right in the markets, the food in the port area is amazing and we ate lots of seafood. The rooms were clean and warm, everything worked, loved the toast for breaky that was a nice touch. We contacted the managements mobile number twice with queries and they responded, I cannot praise everything enough, simply the best.... Nothing

Pubs, river cruisers, hop on hop off bus terminal - location was great In need of more kitchen items - utensils, decent sized dinner plates, more cutlery, cleaning materials - we were there for 7 nights and did have whatever meals we could in our room. Just needed a little more touches for the kitchen for longer stay travellers. I went out and bought paper towels, cleaning spray and a bathroom deodoriser spray during our stay and left them behind hopefully by for the next guest to utilise. - and perhaps look at upsizing the very small red coffee cups.

The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen had what was necessary for a simple breakfast- we appreciated the coffee pods and fresh bread. Lovely supermarket and bakery nearby. Lounges could be better designed for 2 people to comfortably watch a movie or relax

The small kitchen was a bonus and the fresh bread, butter, jam and milk we a lovely touch. Situated near bars and restaurants, although nothing is more than a relatively short walk away. It was very helpful having storage for our bags on the day we left as our flight home was late in the evening. The instructions in some cases conflicted with other information supplied such as where to leave the keys at the end of the stay.
