Ena rummet kunde vi inte låsa, det andra kunde man inte låsa fönsterna . Poolen var full med alger ,inte städad på ett bra tag.

Auf Sonderwünsche wurde ohne zögern eingegangen und uns jeder Wunsch erfüllt. Vielen Dank! Die Toilette im Zimmer hat stark nach Urin gerochen... hier muss zukünftig unbedingt besseres/stärkeres Putzmittel verwendet werden!

• Britta (8/5): - Die Anlage liegt etwas außerhalb der Stadt in einer sehr gepflegten Gegend inmitten anderer Hotelanlagen/ anderer größerer, sehr gepflegter Grundstücke. Das Gelände ist groß mit altem Baumbestand, einem Spielplatz, einem Tennisplatz, Sitzgelegenheiten im Garten & der großen Terrasse mit zwei Pools, angrenzend an das Restaurant des Hotels. Alle Gebäude sind rund angelegt, das größte umfasst die Rezeption, eine Bar & das Restaurant (& ggf. noch anderes, was wir nicht gesehen haben), weitere Gebäude beherbergen die Zimmer für die Gäste. Man wohnt also in einem Haus innerhalb der Grünanlage & hat jeweils eine benachbarte Zimmertür neben sich. Die Zimmer sind eher dunkel, aber relativ sauber. Das Badezimmer war sehr gut & sehr sauber. Wir haben gesehen, dass ein Haus mit den dazugehörigen Zimmern gerade renoviert wird. Das Frühstück war gut, neben dem üblichen Angebot (Teigwaren, Ei, Marmelade) haben wir uns vor allem über frisches Obst gefreut. Zweimal haben wir auch im Restaurant zu Abend gegessen. Das Essen war lecker. Das Personal war z.T. eher desinteressiert (Telefonate parallel zu dem Gespräch mit uns während wir an der Rezeption waren) & wirkte z.T. zwar sehr freundlich, aber unsicher (wir wussten manchmal nicht, ob wir die richtige Person angesprochen haben, um z.B. zu bezahlen o.ä.)

Frühstück landestypisch einfach. Personal zurückhaltend freundlich. Leider schlechte Kommunikation mit dem Gast. Anfragen vorab zwecks Abholung werden nicht beantwortet. Insgesamt trotzdem empfehlenswert.
• Jesper (3/5): Never again, not worth it. - Nice location, easy to visit the mountain for a nice long hike. Restaurant and bar people were nice. Food was of bad quality, service from the owner is poor. Also be aware they charge ridiculous prices for washing. Swimming pool was poorly maintained. Many mosquitoes but that’s nothing you can change, close the doors quickly.

Too much flies in the morning at tables and the breakfast should cater a little bit more english breakfast style.

• Ncayiyana (5/5): Passable - It's an old and large property ideally located at the foot of Uruguru, with an old golf course across the road. It has potential but needs a lot of maintenance. The room rate should have been cheaper, given the state of the property. The hotel facilities are rather old and need maintenance. When I came into my room, I got the fright of my life when a cat ran out. I'm not sure how long it had been there because all the windows were closed.

All our requests were satisfied with no problems or delays. The place was renovated, has all the needed facilities and very clean. Very good location: close to some supermarkets and in the silent area. All was good.

• Soomro (5/5): The stay was below average and did not match qualities of 100 USD executive room. - Location of the hotel. Breakfast was packed for us on request before time as we had to leave early for safari. This was second time we stayed at this hotel and this time the service was not as good as before. Cleanliness was the issue. Lot of mosquitoes in the room. Food quality also decreased. Restaurant also not clean. Staff also slow in response. We requested baby cot online while booking which was not provided and on reminding on site we were told that a bed will be provided bt not the baby cot. We agreed but despite reminders it was not provided.

• Freya (9/5): Superb - The hotel was in a great location with lovely mountain views. The staff were friendly and accommodating and the facilities were nice. The rooms were a little bit outdated and could use some refurbishing but this did not take away from the stay.

Also the service we godt (finding hospital) and while eating. The room need an upgrade for the price you pay in Morogoro. We saw the new rooms and hope they will soon have all rooms renovated :)

The pool was cleaned when guests wanted to go swimming. Kids playground area was a mess, jumping castle was not inflated while we were told it'll be done in 10mins. Bed linen were old and worn out, towels were old and worn out. There was no satisfaction for all the money spent.

• Vishal (10/5): My stay at Morogoro hotel, was a pleasant one, they are very friendly and welcoming. - The property, is in a very nice and safe location, very comfortable, walking distance from room to restaurants, safe car park. Talking about the staffs, The Manager, himself, is a Team leader, who steps in to any matter, that affects the comfort of the guests. he makes sure the guests are happy and comfortable,and remaining all other staffs, from, cleaners to reception, to the crews, who serve food. everyone was looking after all the guests to be happy and comfortable. Food, was specially cooked as per our taste and requirements for dinner, and we loved the food, and breakfast, we had a variety of breakfast, whereby everything was tasty, and to top it up, the staffs serving had a good smile on their face. MOROGORO HOTEL, is the place to stay.

• Ann (7/5): Yes and no… - Beautiful grounds, ice cold air con, piping hot water, comfortable beds, great location. Rooms are in serious need of updating. I was told this was the first hotel in Morogoro, and the rooms look like they are original. The restaurant needs ceiling fans.
