It was a perfect place to spend time relaxing. The view from the terrace is breathtaking. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen provided everything we needed. The entire unit was very clean. John and Yvonne were warm and gracious hosts. I just can’t say enough good about it all.

We decided to try and get away to celebrate our anniversary. The Highlands Castle was a perfect place for us to reconnect and celebrate our 26 years together. The owners of the castle where there to help us with anything we needed but they did so without being intrusive. The views and the accommodations were picture perfect - the pictures on the website don't even do it justice. There was plenty of room for us to spread out during the time we actually spent at the castle and there were plenty of activities for us to enjoy in the surrounding towns when we left the castle.

- Mark (10/5): - My wife and I stayed at Highlands Castle for a couple of days the week of July 4th. It was crazy hot all week long but our room was nice and cool with AC. In the evenings we could sit outside (or in the screened in area) and enjoy the breeze up on the hill while taking in amazing views of Lake George. The town of Bolton Landing is about 4/10 of a mile away. It's a really nice little town with lots of shops, restaurants and marinas. We already talked about staying there again the next time we're in the area.

The rooms are very clean and beautiful. John is very hospitable! And even upgraded our suite!!! This is a place where perfect for photoshoot, or honeymoon, birthday party and events like that. But it is also great place for just a getaway weekend. This is not like a hotel where different people stuck in a same place. The castle has privacy and serenity I adore.!The sunlight in the morning is warm and soft. The rooms are very cozy. Definitely worth to stay! I hope I can come back sometime!!
