• Natascha (9/5): Clean and convenient - Very friendly staff and clean rooms with a small seating area outside. Close to the water and town. Good access to and from the hi way. Furnishings were a bit dated but what you would expect and true to pictures.

• Sean (9/5): Hidden gem - Really lovely little motel. Great spot to stop. Had all amenities in the room (I totally appreciated the kettle as a non-coffee drinker), plus fridge, microwave and toaster. Best of all the room was spotless. Beds were a little firm, but I prefer a softer mattress.

• Mike (8/5): Great stay. - The location is easy to find and close to everything. The room was comfortable, and despite being beside Highway 17, the noise wasn't bad. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was a wickedly cold day when I was there (-35 C) and it took quite a while for my room to heat up. I wouldn't say it ever got warm. Again, it was an exceptionally cold day to be fair.

• Gilles (8/5): Recommended - Room was very clean, thank you. I spend a lot of time in brand hotels for work that pale in comparison for cleanliness. Great job Lakeview. The toilet paper was the good stuff and not the cheap stuff typically found. Also appreciated. Price is a little steep.

• William (6/5): Ontario Road Trip - Location is right in town but lots of truck traffic. We stayed in mid-October and they had yet to turn the boilers on so no heat in the room. It was in the 30’s outside and 64 in the room. When I mentioned it the next morning I was told that the maintenance usually puts a heater in the room and I should have called and asked for one. The mattress was FIRM!

Loved having a microwave, toaster, kettle,Keurig coffee and fridge. Charlene the front desk lady was very friendly and helpful figuring out the cable TV. It served our needs well.

The most expensive of our 8 nightly accommodations this trip.

• Chris (9/5): Definitely would stay here again. - Everything from location to cleanliness and comfort. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Bathroom was spotless, better than one I had a week ago in a 5* resort in Jamaica. Close to restaurants. Couldn’t get the heating to work.

• Glenn (10/5): Have stayed at lakeview in the past and will stay again in the future. It's motel with a hotel heart - Clean and maintained well. All necessities were in the room. Beds, linens and pillows are excellent. Shower and bathroom clean and bright. Wifi was fast and easy to access.

Great news after a 12 hour day of travelling…for that I will likely never return
