• Sina (10/5): - Die Lage direkt am Strand, sehr nettes Personal, leckeres Essen im Restaurant-Bereich, Bungalow sehr basic aber mit allem nötigen ausgestattet. Room Service/Cleaning ist nur für alle 4 Tage vorgesehen, was recht wenig ist, da ja z.B. auch benutztes Toilettenpapier im Mülleimer landet. Positiv: Für zwischendurch waren auf Terrasse und im Bungalow Besen zur Selbstnutzung hinterlegt.

• Carolin (10/5): Perfect sunset stay in tent - Thai/German owned. Stayed here more than 1 week in one of the big tents and loved everything. Great owner, great stay, great staff, great beach! Nicki is a wonderful, warmhearted, patient and well organised host. His staff is also sweet, attentive and make great food. Location right at beach is amazing for this price and still so quiet at night. I'm also glad about the no smoking policy - there is a lot of smoking elsewhere (incl. cannabis). Good WiFi in restaurant area. Unfortunately right now no WIFI in the tents 3 and 4. Bring enough cash to the Island, as the 2 ATM (at Pier only) are very unreliable. Or use WISE for paying at Friends at the end. Next supermarket nearby (10-15min walking), also many other restaurants close by. Best option to get around is by scooter. Enjoy Koh Phayam and be respectful to locals by wearing clothes when away from beach.
• Ylvi (10/5): Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. - Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Besitzer und Mitarbeiter sind super nett und sehr hilfsbereit. Wir haben in einem Zelt gewohnt, aber das ist wirklich ein premium Glamping Zelt mit richtigen Betten drin und besser als so mancher Bungalow auf der Insel. Sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet mit eigenen schönen Bad. Würde wiederkommen!

• VerOlivaux (10/5): Un séjour en tente 5 étoiles - Quel accueil. Merci Nicky et tout le personnel. 4 nuits sous tente. Couchage très confortable. 2 espaces bien aménagés avec étagères, table basse, coussins, lampes, ventilateur ( pas eu besoin car suffisamment d'air par les ouvertures), tapis de sol. Sanitaires privés mitoyens de la tente. L'ensemble est propre, spacieux. A 50 mètres de la plage, très belle. Espaces extérieurs : "jardin" avec fauteuils tables en résine et coussins sol. Restaurant : cuisine généreuse, de qualité, tarif très correct. (J'ai aussi commandé une Pina colada : parfaite 200b). Système de notation des consommations sur un carnet à régler en fin de séjour en espèces. Localisation : petites supérettes proches 500m, blanchisserie juste en face. Tuk tuk depuis le port 150 ou 200b. Un scooter ou vélo permet une bonne autonomie (150b le moins puissant/1j). Une belle ambiance, un fonctionnement bien orchestré, Un plus : eau buvable à volonté gratuitement. Merci. Je recommande et j'espère pouvoir revenir.

• monica (7/5): soggiorno rilassante, tramonti stupendi - La cucina di Niki è stata la cosa più fantastica del soggiorno. La struttura ha un ristorante molto gettonato dove si mangia benissimo. Anche il personale è stato fantastico e sempre disponibile. Il contesto generale del piccolo resort andrebbe migliorato. I bungalow fronte spiaggia sono molto essenziali. Il bungalow più bello non è fronte mare. Non ci sono attrezzature da spiaggia per gli ospiti come sdrai, l'area è piuttosto disordinata e andrebbe pulita e valorizzata. A prima vista non sembra entusiasmante, ma poi la gentilezza di Niki e la sua grande simpatia ha reso il soggiorno gradevole.

• Master Bia (8/5): Friends : L'équilibre parfait entre confort, nature et convivialité à Ko Phayam (avec une cuisine ex - J'ai choisi Friends pour sa proximité de la plage et son excellent rapport qualité-prix, et je n'ai pas été déçu ! Cet endroit offre une variété d'hébergements, des tentes aux bungalows familiaux. J'ai opté pour un bungalow avec vue sur le jardin, mais la plage est si proche que le bruit des vagues berce vos nuits. Les bungalows sont confortables et fonctionnels, avec des lits douillets et des rangements pratiques. La salle de bain, typiquement thaïlandaise, est suffisante pour l'île. L'absence d'eau chaude et de climatisation n'a pas été un problème pour moi, grâce à la brise marine et au ventilateur. Les tentes semblent être une excellente option, avec leur propre chambre, salon et hamac. Le personnel de Friends est incroyablement serviable et chaleureux, et leur engagement envers l'environnement est admirable. Le propriétaire trie les déchets et l'électricité est principalement fournie par des panneaux solaires. De plus, de l'eau filtrée est disponible à volonté, un vrai plus ! La cuisine du restaurant est tout simplement exquise ! Les plats thaïlandais sont préparés avec des ingrédients frais et savoureux, et le rapport qualité-prix est imbattable. (Et en tant que Thaïlandais, je peux vous assurer de leur authenticité !) L'emplacement est idéal, à proximité de la plage et des commerces. Le propriétaire parle très bien anglais et est toujours disponible pour vous aider. Je recommande vivement Friends aux familles, aux couples et aux voyageurs solitaires à la recherche d'une expérience authentique et respectueuse de l'environnement à Ko Phayam. Points à noter : * Le ménage est effectué tous les 4 jours, mais le personnel est disponible en cas de besoin. * Si vous recherchez le luxe avec eau chaude et climatisation, d'autres options sont disponibles sur l'île, mais à un coût plus élevé. J'espère que cet avis vous aidera à faire votre choix. Profitez bien de votre séjour à Ko Phayam !
• Mattia (8/5): Andate e scoprirete la pace. - Immersa nella natura, totale relax e a due passi dalla spiaggia. Pochissime persone sia in spiaggia che vicino alla nostra tenda. Se si vuole staccare la spina completamente, questo è il posto giusto!! Non c’è aria condizionata sia nelle teste (ovviamente) e sia nei bungalow, ma francamente per me in quel contesto non conta, mentre invece consiglio di munirsi di spray anti zanzare.
• Giulia (10/5): We already miss them! - Nicky and Sonja are wonderful hosts, always helpful and dedicated to making people feel at home. They care about the environment, provide free filtered water for guests, use solar panels to generate electricity and buy fish only from local fishermen. We slept in a tent which is way more comfortable than many bungalows you could find on the island and not less important, the food is DELICIOUS!

We also had a small terrace. They also have a restaurant which was good price and the food was tasty! Over all really good spot to have a holiday.

• Gerd (8/5): Good - The staff is extremely friendly and attentive, the food is delicious. The location on Long Beach is very good and quiet. The bungalows are in good condition, the water in the shower is only cold, but that's not a problem given the temperature on Ko Phayam. Overall, I liked it a lot and I can recommend the accommodation. It is not acceptable that my passport is uploaded to Facebook to be sent to others. This is rightly not allowed and prohibited in Europe, and as far as I have read the Thai data protection laws, this is also not permitted. Many people do not seem to understand what happens to the data there.

• Michael (7/5): - Die Lage von der Anlage am Strand ist sehr gut. Der Strand ist feinsandig und gut zum Baden geeignet. Das Zimmer mit Lüfter ausgestattet. Die Speisen im Restaurant lecker und der Besitzer Nicky steht stets mit Tips kompetent, freundlich und hilfsbereit zur Verfügung. Leider sind die Angestellten eher mit sich beschäftigt, als sich um die Gäste oder Anlage zu kümmern. Es liegt viel kaputtes in der gesamten Anlage herum. Da fehlt es an Organisation.

• Thomas (6/5): Paradise along the beach - The staff were very helpful and both the owners/managers as well. The little restaurant on site does great food too, and is reasonably priced. Location is Everything and this place has it, that is the majority of the units have a direct view of the beach and at night, one can lay in bed and hear the waves crash on the beach. The general location of the resort is not too far from several stores and restaurants, which makes it easier if you do not have a scooter. Not a major issue, but rooms are only cleaned when you ask or every 4 days. Also there is no kettle for hot water in each room, this little addition would be nice, but the staff did get me hot water when asked. No daily bottled water is issued, which once again in not a major issues, but even some water in a thermos in each room would be nice to have.

• gerlinde (9/5): - Niki und Sonja sind sehr angenehme Gastgeber, beim Essen wird auf Qualität geachtet und man kann sagen ob man scharf will oder nicht, Niki ist ein sehr Aufmerksamer Mensch und Sonja erzählt lustige Geschichten von der Insel 😁🏝️ ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen und ankommen ,je länger man/frau da ist umso wohler fühlt man/frau sich Es gibt Bungalows mit Hängematte und welche ohne es wäre fein wenn jeder eine Hängematte hätte, aber es gibt auch welche die sozusagen frei benuüzbar sind

Am Strand viele Resorts m Restaurants, für Abwechslung i gesorgt. Sonja, Hausherrin, immer präsent, kümmert sich um alle Wünsche der Gäste, sofern erfüllbar. Auch d Weiterreise super organisiert. Würde hier wieder buchen. Kleiner Kritikpunkt, der hintere Bereich gehört mal aufgeräumt. Und Sonnenliegen wären wünschenswert.

Wir waren 6 Nächte auf der Insel und beim Spazieren festgestellt, dass wir mit der Anlage die absolut richtige Entscheidung getroffen haben. Sonja und Niki waren sehr hilfsbereit und haben uns viele nützliche Tipps gegeben. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Essen war auch köstlich. Die Karte überschaubar aber für jeden etwas dabei. Preise auch gut. Wir kommen sicher wieder. Unser Sohn (5 Jahre) würde auch wieder dahin gehen 😄 Nichts

• Johannes (8/5): - Einfaches Ressort mit funktionalen Bungalows und sehr gutem Restaurant. Tolles engagiertes Küchenteam. Viele Familien mit kleinen Kindern, Lage am Strand optimal. Es funktioniert alles, allerdings finde ich der Ort könnte von ein bisschen mehr Liebe extrem profitieren. Es stapelt sich Müll an sichtbaren Stellen, die alten kaputten Stühle sind einfach an die Seite gestellt und der Sand ums Restaurant ist voller Bierdeckel, Müll, sogar ein rostiger Nagel...

• Sebastian (10/5): Traumhafte Lage mit Sonnenuntergang Garantie und hilfsbereitem Personal - Eine wunderschöne Bungalowanlage direkt am Meer. Wir hatten traumhafte zwei Wochen und werden wiederkommen :) das beste ist nichtmal der Standort direkt am Long Beach unter den Palmen, mit Blick auf den Sonnenuntergang direkt über‘m Meer. Und auch nicht das eigene Restaurant mit hervorragendem Preis/Leidtungs-Verhältnis und leckeren Thai sowie Burmesischen Gerichten und einer sehr guten Pizza. Nein, das beste sind Sonja und Nicky, die beiden führen die Bungalowanlage mit Herzblut und sind nicht nur hervorragende, zurückhaltende Gastgeber sondern im Fall auch Reisebüro, Bank und Krankenstation. Egal bei welchem Thema, die beiden sind so hilfsbereit! Wirklich eine Ausnahme Unterkunft und unser Favorite auf der Thailandreise! 👍
• Melanie (5/5): Zu teuer für das, was man bekommt. - Gute Lage, direkt am Strand. Die ganze Anlage mit Garten wirkt ungepflegt und vernachlässigt , es lag Plastikmüll herum. Nicht besonders schön anzusehen.
• PL (6/5): Lage gut, Bungalow verbesserungsfähig - Frühstück+Essen a la carte war gut und günstig. Die Lage sehr gut, daß kleine Restaurant direkt am Strand. Man weiß ja das die Preise direkt am Meer höher sind als im Land. Der Bungalow war schon etwas älter, der Schock oder die Überraschung war aber das Badezimmer. Das Badezimmer liegt praktisch außerhalb des Zimmers hinter dem Haus. Es liegt 2 Stufen tiefer, zur Hälfte überdacht, die Dusche unüberdacht, man steht auf einer Steinplatte umgeben von Steinen. Kein warmes Wasser in der Dusche. Kein Heißwasserkocher+Kaffee im Zimmer (wie oft üblich)

• Siriussa (8/5): - Uns hat es gefallen, es war gemütlich, wir haben verlängert. Aber man muss das Einfache mögen und man muss laute Brandung in der Nacht mögen. Morgens aus dem Bett direkt ins Meer, ist schon wunderbar. Dazwischen kann man auch einen Kaffee von den netten Menschen im kleinen Restaurant bekommen. Das Bett ist unbequem und mit Plastik überzogen. Alles mufft ein wenig wegen der Luftfeuchtigkeit, das hat mich aber nicht so gestört.

Da ich in der Low Season kam um für den Abschluss eventuell ein paar Wellen zu surfen (was leider nicht geklappt hat), aber am Strand kann man direkt auch schnorcheln gehen :) der Host zeigt einem ganz genau wo :) Die Hunde sind sehr nett :) und das Essen sehr gut, unbedingt den Burmese Salad bestellen :) Nix

Frühstück und Essen waren super, Die Thai-Gerichte und die Pizza sind sehr zu empfehlen. Kurze Wege zum Restaurant, das direkt am Strand liegt. Ke WLan war im hinteren Gartenbungalow so gut wie nicht vorhanden. Die Gartenbungalows sind ähnlich geräuschdurchlässig wie die Zelte
• Jonathan (9/5): Great place to be at Koh Phayam lonng beach. - Great familiar atmosphere with beautiful sunsets at the long beach. Sonja and Nicki are really great hosts and it was always nice to talk to them, sometimes until late at night :) Moreover, Nicki is a fantastic chef. Together with the kitchen team he served nice dishes, starting from traditional Thai over Italian up to self made jam or cheesecake. Friends is also a great place for children. Our five year old daughter quickly found new friends and loved to play with Bobby and the other dogs and animals around. Many thanks for everything, friends! We are looking forward to seeing you again soon next year :) The bungalows are equipped quite basic. This is on the one hand part of the great „back to the roots“ atmosphere. On the other hand some additional hooks for towels in the bathroom and a small extra shelve in the main room for sun cream and all the stuff that is flowing around would be perfect, especially when travelling as family.

• Stefan (10/5): Einfach Perfekt! - Meine Freundin und ich haben für 3 Nächte in einem Zelt geschlafen. Das Zelt hatte eine schöne Matratze mit ausreichend Platz. Außerdem genug Steckdosen und einen Ventilator. Die Besitzer sowie alle Mitarbeiter sind sehr hilfsbereit und sehr sehr nett. Sie wollen bei allem behilflich sein. :) Das Essen war durchweg lecker! Und die Lage einfach einzigartig mit dem perfekten Sonnenuntergang jeden Abend.! Roller kann man vor Ort leider keinen Mieten aber ich würde sowieso empfehlen den Roller gleich beim Hafen zu mieten. Ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt! Würden wir sofort wieder buchen!

• Krista (9/5): Hyvä valinta - Meillä oli Garden bungalow, joka oli mukavan valoisa ja viihtyisä. Mikä parasta niin paikka on suoraan rannalla. Ravintolassa ruoka hyvää ja maistuvaa kahvia sai isosta kupista! Henkilökunta tosi ystävällistä. Ei moitittavaa.

• SteffiDo (9/5): Wunderbare Unterkunft direkt am Strand - Ich habe im Zelt geschlafen und es war sehr bequem. Die Lage direkt am einsamen Strand ist unschlagbar. Das Frühstück ist klasse und das Essen ist auch gut. Ich habe den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und will wieder zurück!!! Es wird nicht täglich der Müll ausgeleert. Das wird auch angekündigt, wäre aber bei einer offenen Toilette ratsam. Sonst war es sauber.
