Toujours disponible et à l’écoute, il a su répondre efficacement à toutes nos demandes, notamment pour la location de vélos et l’organisation de sorties en mer. Grâce à son professionnalisme et sa gentillesse, tout a été parfaitement organisé, ce qui a grandement contribué à rendre notre séjour agréable et sans souci.Sans oublié, la proximité de anse patates à deux pas de l’hôtel. La vétusté de la salle de bain.
• Klaus Neumann und (9/5): Nice, affordable hotel with most probably best views on La Digue - The Hotel L'Océan is situated at the northern end of La Digue, above the main coastal road and it probably offers the most stunning view you can get on this island! The rooms are pretty big and all with balcony and ocean view. In total good value for money compared to other hotels. The manager was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was the best of the 5 hotels we stayed at on the Seychelles. If you rent a bike (150 SCR p. person/day) you have lots of Restaurants, shops or supermarkets nearby. There is a beautiful small beach just around the corner. We enjoyed our stay very much and can highly recommend this place. Unfortunately the nice hotel restaurant was officially closed, but we could use it for breakfast and enjoyed the amazing view every morning. There was actually nothing to complain about.

• Thomas (7/5): Une bonne expérience à l’hôtel l’océan, la vue sur l’océan et le personnel nous font un peu oublier le manque de confort - Le personnel est très accueillant et sympathique ! Le petit déjeuner était délicieux et très copieux, il change tous les matins. La vue sur l’océan est splendide ! Nous avons même pu voir des dauphins depuis le balcon de notre chambre. Hôtel très propre. Très bon emplacement ! À deux pas de la magnifique plage Anse Patates et proche du centre ville. Les chambres sont vieillissantes..surtout la salle de bain qui mérite d’être refaite et la literie d’être changée.

Even though the staff do their best to keep it clean the old tiles in the bathroom are “dirty-slippery” because of the time which makes it unpleasant to touch.

• Petra (9/5): Krásné místo - Ubytování se nachází v krásné lokalitě na severu ostrova s nádherným výhledem na oceán. Personál je velmi milý a ochotný. Na kole je vše na dosah, i když se na první pohled může zdát, že je to daleko. Kousek od ubytování je krásná pláž Bikiny Bottom s nejlepšími bary na ostrově a dále pak ikonická Anse Patates. Vřele doporučuji! Upozorňuji, že v ubytování je hodně schodů, než se dostanete do pokojů, proto by ho nedoporučila nikomu s omezením pohybu.

Das Frühstück war sensationell! Das Abendessen war immer ausgezeichnet und preiswert. Es ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, hat aber Charme.

Стара сантехніка, котра погано працює. Пошарпані стіни з плямами. Не дуже чисто. В номері постійно були мурахи. Під час нашого перебування готель вирішив пофарбувати стіни ззовні, тому дуже воняло фарбою та шуміли працівники. Поруч немає де поїсти, треба тільки їхати до пристойного закладу.

• frederic (10/5): Incontournable ! - Troisième séjour aux Seychelles et deuxième à l’hôtel Océan. Si vous cherchez la plus belle salle de bain de l’île, ce n’est pas l’adresse qu’il vous faut. En revanche, si votre priorité est d’avoir la plus belle vue depuis la chambre ou depuis l’endroit où vous prendrez vos repas, alors l’hôtel Océan est exactement le bon choix. Le véritable atout réside dans l’accueil et la disponibilité irréprochable du couple de gérants, doublée de cette situation géographique exceptionnelle. Autre avantage non négligeable : le transport gratuit pour le check-in et le check-out. Enfin, le rapport qualité-prix est nettement meilleur que celui de son voisin et partenaire, le Patatran. Mieux vaut ajouter quelques euros de plus que de choisir les guesthouses omniprésentes sur l’île, qui n’offrent aucune vue, seulement de la promiscuité qui vous oblige à tirer les rideaux en permanence. En partir malheureusement ! La trop faible disponibilité des hébergements sur nos dates de séjour.

• massimo (8/5): - Bellissima la terrazza ristorante sul mare, colazione essenziale ma buona cena buonissima. Le camere purtroppo hanno l'ingresso che affaccia su un muro alto più di 3 metri che impedisce il passaggio dell'aria, solo un asciugamano per la doccia che poi devi usare per tutto il resto .....
• Rene (7/5): Ist im großem Ganzen nicht den Preis wert. - Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Frühstück ist super und ausreichend. Ausblick ist sehr vom Balkon. Das Bananenbrot ist sehr lecker und zu empfehlen. Strandhandtücher verfügbar und jederzeit austauschbar. Zimmer entsprechen nicht den Bilder. Alles etwas heruntergekommen. Bad ist sehr klein. In der Dusche ist es kaum möglich zu duschen, ohne sich zu stoßen. Die Betten sind durchgelegen. Ein Deckenventilator wäre gut. Standventilator ist im Zimmer aber nervt wenn er die Nacht an ist. Die Klima ist sehr schwach.

• Marie (7/5): Tout est parfait sauf la chambre et sa salle de bain - Notre séjour s’est bien passé, nous avons passé un bon moment, en aimant la vue, la propreté, le petit déjeuner, le service et la gentillesse apportés par le personnel Les chambres sont très vieillissantes et rafistolées ( parquet cassé, mobiliers abîmés, dalle plafond ouverte..) le pire reste la salle de bain et encore plus la douche, si on avait vu une photo, on aurait probablement pris un autre hôtel… Le rapport qualité prix est vraiment plus que moyen.

• Sandra (5/5): Ruhiges Hotel mit fantastischer Aussicht,aber sehr renovierungsbedürftig - Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Das Frühstück war fabelhaft und sehr liebevoll zubereitet. Es war alles da. Obst,Eier,Kaffee,Kuchen....alles sehr persönlich und individuell. Der Ausblick ist einfach nur fantastisch. Bei Ankunft gab es gleich Strandtücher, Wasserflaschen,Kaffee und Tee im Zimmer. Balkon mit einer Stufe nach unten,die nicht wirklich sichtbar ist- Sturzgefahr!!! Das Bad ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen, kein Warmwasser in der Dusche.. Beim Bett gab es eine durchgehende Matraze , die leider jede Bewegung des Partners weitergab. Schlafen war fast unmöglich.

Die Lage ist toll, das Frühstück war völlig ausreichend. Der Blick ist wundervoll. Super netter Service. Wir haben direkt Räder vor Ort leihen können und der Manager hat uns die Insel sehr gut erklärt und viele Tipps gegeben. Nichts. Wie man auf den Bildern sieht ist die Unterkunft etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber trotzdem sehr schön.

• JoseBart (8/5): Me ha gustado mucho disfrutar de las vista y tranquilidad del hotel. - Las vistas son estupendas. La ubicación es bastante buena, con dos playas (muy distintas) cercanas. Y el centro está a 7-10 minutos en bici ó 15-20 a pie. El personal fue muy atento. Ofrecen un desayuno muy correcto. Está previsto que lo remodelen en breve, y ello se nota.

Possibilité d’avoir un free shuttle depuis le ferry à réserver auprès de l’hôtel. Petit déjeuner super ! La chambre est un peu vieillotte et peu de pression dans l’eau de la douche. Mais l’hôtel va bientôt être complètement rénové et promet d’être exceptionnel.

• Sarah (7/5): Parfait. - Cet hôtel est un peu vétuste et va être rénové mais il est très bien. Lits extra larges et confortables. Le personnel est aux petits soins et de bons conseils. La vue est superbe (vu des tortues de mer depuis le balcon et des dauphins). Le petit déjeuner est excellent et change chaque jour. Je recommande ce lieu. Tout était bien.

• swlodek (8/5): We spent 5 wonderful days on La Digue. - A very good location. 100 meters from Anse Patates beach, in our opinion one of the most beautiful beaches. The hotel has a very pleasant atmosphere, and a good breakfast is served in a beautiful location (with an ocean view). The hotel has double rooms. We were a family of four and received two adjoining rooms with adjoining balconies. All rooms have ocean views. We stayed for five days and rented bikes for two. It's a short walk to the center for food and light shopping. The place met our expectations, but it definitely needs a little renovation. Although that didn't bother us at all. The staff was very friendly and always helpful. We had an early morning ferry back and received a packed breakfast to go :) You can also take advantage of the free transfer to or from the port – just contact the property in advance. La Digue Island is wonderful. We recommend this place to everyone. Certain elements of the facility require renovation and refreshing

• Jake (10/5): - Great property really well located at a great view point, excellent balcony view, space aplenty, decent breakfast and the boss, Sachin, is the nicest of many people I met on my trip, really top guy that made the stay even better. it's not 5* but it's perfect for 5 days in La Digue, highly recommend, rent bikes and explore every inch of the island. Sunset at Bellvue snackbar is a must, ditch the bikes as you begin the steep uphill walk.

So lässt sich die Gelassenheit welche man auf der Insel spürt bestens mitnehmen. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und wird auf Wunsch individuell angepasst.

• Hawal (1/5): Ekelhaft - Nichts Null Nie mehr wieder, ekelhaft, Booking ist schuld das die solche Unterkünfte ihre Zimmer hier anbieten dürfen. Schlimmste Unterkunft die ich jemals gesehen habe. Bitte gibt paar Euros mehr aus und geht in ein richtiges Hotel! Wir hatten sogar die Polizei gerufen alles, unfreundlicher Chefin die nur per WhatsApp Kontakt wollte! Glaubt mir ich kann es nicht in Worte wieder geben.
• Eberhard Isele (1/5): Hotel kann nicht mehr zu empfehlen - das Frühstück war soweit in Ordung für ein 2 Sterne Hotel das Personal besonders Saehin sehr unfreundlich agressiv und aufprausend hier merkt man dass keinerlei Motivation mehr vorhanden ist,der Besitzer des Hotels ist bereits verschwunden warten wohl auf den Abriss. Wenn man nach einen Ausflug am Abend in das Zimmer kommt ist die Klimaanlage ausgeschaltet und es hat ca. 45 Grad im Zimmer das ist nicht akzeptabel, die Klimaanlage bringt aber nur noch eine Raumtemparatur von 28 Grad , Teilweise kommt nur ein Rinsal Wasser aus dem Duschkopf . im Zimmer und Speiseraum gibt es kein Ventilator, es gibt kein Raum wo man sich abkühlen kann .

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is very good, both the breakfast and the à la carte menu, the food is much better and cheaper than in some other places. Overall it has great value for the money. The property is a little old and some bigger windows would have been great for the amazing view, but it was pretty comfortable. Also in the rooms on the last floor it gets quite hot during the day if you don't leave the A/C functioning the entire day, but at least there was a fan in the room besides the A/C.

Le transfert gratuit du ferry à l'hôtel et la possibilité de laisser les bagages à côté du ferry (grâce à Sachin) pour profiter de la dernière journée à la digue. Nous avons tout apprécié en réalité, nous n'y avons passé qu'une seule nuit.

A l’écart de l’agitation de la Passe Sachim, est d’une gentillesse incroyable , toujours souriant et disponible . Concernant l’hôtel, Alors oui il n’est pas de première jeunesse , on savait à quoi s’attendre, car l’hôtel Ocean va être démoli dans les mois à venir pour un hôtel beaucoup plus luxueux , piscine privé…. C’est dommage de démolir cet hôtel au lieu de le rénover pour garder cette structure authentique et typique des Seychelles . Pour nous , il y a 15 ans , nous étions venu à cet hôtel et en gardions un souvenir d’une vue époustouflante qui pour nous et gravé dans notre mémoire. De ce faite , nous sommes très heureux d’avoir pu y séjourner une dernière fois. Merci
• Andrea (10/5): Just parfait . Le personnel adorable et toujours là à nos petits soins . Mon mari a fait 60 ans pendant notre séjour et - L hotel L’Ocean est très idyllique , très bien placé à qq mètres de la magnifique plage anse patates .
• Alina (7/5): Ein etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel mit gutem Frühstück, einer tollen Aussicht und guter Lage. - Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt genossen. Zwar ist das Hotel tatsächlich, wie auch schon in anderen Bewertungen beschrieben, etwas in die Jahre gekommen und man merkt, dass länger nichts renoviert wurde. (Das Haus wird auch Ende des Jahres geschlossen.) Wenn man sich aber darauf einstellt, dass man kein top modernes Hotel vorfinden wird, wird man keineswegs enttäuscht. Unser Zimmer war ganz gut ausgestattet und es war nichts kaputt oder dergleichen. Die Lage des Hauses ist toll, man hat sowohl vom Balkon als auch von der Terrasse einen traumhaften Blick auf das Meer. Man ist zwar mit dem Rad schnell im Zentrum der Insel, es ist aber trotzdem schön ruhig gelegen. In wenigen Minuten Fuß- oder Radweg gibt es die schönsten Strände und Buchten auf La Digue. Das Frühstück fanden wir richtig toll! Es gab jeden Morgen eine kleine Obstplatte, einen Smoothie, eine Süßspeise (Kuchen oder Pancakes), ein Eiergericht nach Wahl, Bacon sowie Müsli und Jogurt. Das Personal empfanden wir als überdurchschnittlich freundlich und bemüht. Für den Preis sind wir alles in allem zufrieden mit unserer Wahl.
• Shelley (6/5): Overall, we enjoyed our stay. It was good value for money, and the staff were really friendly. - Location was fantastic, beautiful views and a quieter part of the ocean. Breakfast was good , however it would be a nice option to have brown bread toast . Everything else was sufficient and fresh. Hot water supply in our unit 1 was mostly cold.
