• Steffy (1/5): Annonce trompeuse et expérience inacceptable - Cette réservation s’est révélée être une très mauvaise expérience, avec un décalage majeur entre l’annonce et la réalité, au point que nous avons dû trouver un autre logement en urgence. Deux jours avant notre arrivée, nous avons reçu un message particulièrement sec nous imposant une arrivée avant 19h, avec la mention explicite qu’en cas de retard, la réservation serait annulée sans accès au logement, tout en conservant l’intégralité du paiement. Cette pratique est pour le moins surprenante et instaure une pression inutile avant même l’arrivée. Ces échanges ont en outre eu lieu via WhatsApp, alors que les conditions de Booking encadrent strictement les communications avec les voyageurs. Le ton employé était insistant, désagréable et à la limite du harcèlement, ce qui est totalement inacceptable dans le cadre d’une réservation professionnelle. Afin de respecter cette contrainte, nous avons dû écourter un séjour familial le 26 décembre, malgré une logistique déjà complexe (trajet en voiture, stationnement à La Spezia, puis train avec une fréquence réduite à cette période). Nous savions que le logement n’était pas particulièrement esthétique. Ce n’était pas un problème puisque nous l’avions choisi pour une raison précise et clairement mise en avant dans l’annonce : la terrasse / le jardin, présentés comme accessibles depuis le logement et permettant de prendre les repas à l’extérieur, constituant le critère déterminant de notre réservation. À l’arrivée, la réalité est tout autre. Le logement est encore plus sommaire que sur les photos, très humide, sombre, pas propre. Et le plus grand choc : il n’existe aucune terrasse ou jardin accessible depuis le logement. La « terrasse » / « jardin » mentionné dans l’annonce se situe en réalité à plusieurs minutes à pied, en montant de nombreux escaliers et en passant par une ruelle sombre et jonchée de déchets, pour accéder à l’extérieur d’un autre appartement, volets fermés, dont l’accès semble simplement toléré.

• Elena (10/5): Experiencia inolvidable con vistas de ensueño! - Nuestra estancia fue simplemente perfecta. Desde el primer momento, el equipo fue encantador, atento y siempre disponible para ayudarnos con recomendaciones sobre Riomaggiore y las Cinque Terre. La ubicación es inmejorable: en una zona tranquila pero muy cerca del centro y de la estación, ideal para explorar toda la región. El apartamento es acogedor, luminoso y muy cómodo, con una decoración moderna y detalles que muestran el cuidado de los anfitriones. Todo estaba impecablemente limpio y bien mantenido. La cama es comodísima y el silencio absoluto durante la noche nos permitió descansar como en casa. La terraza privada: ¡una joya! Ofrece una vista panorámica al mar y al pueblo que quita el aliento. Tomar allí el desayuno o una copa al atardecer fue uno de los mejores momentos del viaje. Además, la relación calidad-precio nos pareció excelente considerando la ubicación, las vistas y los servicios ofrecidos. Sin duda recomendaría SailorsRest a cualquiera que busque una experiencia auténtica, cómoda y con encanto en Riomaggiore. ¡Volveremos sin pensarlo dos veces! Lo único malo fue que no pudimos quedarnos más noches porque ya estaba todo reservado. Nos encantó todo.
• Maria Gabriela (1/5): Mala experiencia - Lamentablemente, el apartamento en sí es una cueva oscura, sin luz natural, con una pequeña ventana que da al edificio vecino. La humedad era altísima y el olor a humedad era insoportable. El apartamento era muy oscuro, algo que se acentuaba por los muebles negros y las paredes oscuras; era imposible estar sin la luz encendida. Lo más importante es que la terraza que se anuncia no es una terraza, sino un jardín alejado del apartamento. Si, al ver las fotos, sueñas con ir a la terraza en pijama con una taza de café, olvídalo. Para acceder al jardín, tienes que llevarte todo, cerrar el apartamento con llave, subir unas escaleras, abrir la entrada y, entonces, disfrutar de tu espacio exterior privado. Otra decepción fue la "terraza": no es la que aparece en las fotos. No entiendo por qué la anuncian si está cerrada. El jardín, sin duda, tiene unas vistas preciosas y es maravilloso, pero no es el de las fotos, así que es una pena que esto no se corrija ni se describa en el anuncio. Creo que un trato más honesto con el cliente habría sido beneficioso. Teniendo en cuenta mi experiencia, me sorprenden las otras reseñas que me engañaron. En general, la propiedad está bien, pero la descripción engañosa y el precio excesivamente alto para la calidad que ofrece me dejan insatisfecho con mi elección.

Pre-arrival messages were clear and friendly, the digital guide made check-in effortless, and everything matched the listing. The terrace is the star: well kept, with a dining area and wide sea-and-village views. It’s reached by a short, well-lit external stair, which actually kept the apartment quiet and private. Sunset up there was magic. Inside felt fresh, cozy, and spotless. Both beds were comfortable, linens crisp, A/C and climate control excellent, and the bathroom was super clean with a great shower. The kitchen was truly usable. Quality pans plus handy basics like salt, pepper, olive oil, coffee and tea. The hosts were professional and fair: quick replies, clear house rules, no surprises. The location is perfect close to everything yet peaceful at night. SailorsRest delivers the view, comfort, and charm we wanted. We’d gladly book again next year!

Es un alojamiento cuidado al detalle, ideal para disfrutar de la magia de Cinque Terre con total comodidad y tranquilidad. L’espace est lumineux, bien ventilé et parfaitement agréable. Le lit est très confortable, la kitchenette bien équipée avec tout le nécessaire pour préparer un petit repas ou un café le matin. Tout est neuf, bien entretenu et très silencieux, ce qui garantit un excellent repos. L’accueil a été parfaitement organisé, avec des instructions claires et une grande disponibilité de l’hôte. On sent une vraie attention portée au confort des voyageurs, jusque dans les petits détails. En résumé: un logement idéal pour découvrir Riomaggiore et les Cinque Terre, combinant modernité, propreté et sérénité. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter et recommandons vivement cette adresse!

Ma il vero punto forte è la terrazza privata con una vista spettacolare sul mare e sul porticciolo. Andrea che ci ha accolti è sempre stata disponibile e gentile, pronta a rispondere a ogni domanda e a dare ottimi consigli su ristoranti, sentieri e luoghi da visitare. Consigliato. Non vediamo l’ora di tornare!

Die Wohnung ist liebevoll gestaltet, sehr sauber und bietet alles, was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub braucht. Besonders begeistert hat uns die schöne Terrasse ruhig gelegen, mit gemütlicher Sitzecke und einem wunderbaren Blick auf die typischen bunten Häuser von Riomaggiore. Die Lage ist perfekt: nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß vom Zentrum und vom Hafen entfernt, aber dennoch angenehm ruhig. Man spürt sofort die authentische Atmosphäre des Dorfes. Der Gastgeber war unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und jederzeit erreichbar. Die Kommunikation war klar, herzlich und professionell. Wir haben uns von der ersten Minute an willkommen gefühlt. Wer einen besonderen Ort sucht, um die Cinque Terre zu erleben, ist hier genau richtig. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. ein echtes Juwel in Riomaggiore!

It would have been difficult to find on our own, but the hosts communicated very well, met us as soon as we entered the town, guided us to the place, and gave us great tips on travel and food. The only thing to note is that the second bed could be more comfortable.

Il terrazzo privato con vista mare è uno dei punti forti ed è il posto ideale per rilassarsi e godersi un panorama unico sul mare e sul borgo. L’accesso è comodo e ben segnalato a pochi passi dall'ingresso dell'appartamento. L’appartamento è curato nei minimi dettagli, pulitissimo e dotato di tutto il necessario per un soggiorno confortevole. Si percepisce l’attenzione e la cura con cui è gestito: tutto è ordinato, profumato e accogliente. Consigliatissimo per chi cerca autenticità, vista spettacolare e un’esperienza davvero ligure!

The terrace was exactly as shown in the photos, spacious, sunny, and offering the most stunning panoramic view of the sea and the colorful village. We spent every morning there with coffee and every evening with a glass of wine watching the sunset. It truly made our trip unforgettable. The apartment itself was spotless, beautifully designed, and very comfortable. Communication with the host was excellent. We received all the information in advance and everything was perfectly clear. You can tell the place is well cared for and that the hosts take great pride in making guests feel at home. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience in Riomaggiore. Highly recommended to anyone looking for an authentic and peaceful stay with a Breathtaking Views in the heart of Cinque Terre!
• Koren (6/5): Closed terrace - Andrea the lady who welcomed us was very nice. Good location near the main street of Riomaggiore. The terrace shown in the photos was closed due to renovation. There is another terrace available, but it’s lower, has a worse view, and you can only see the view if you go to the edge, not an open view like in the images. I can understand the need for renovation, but the minimum is to inform guests about it in advance, especially since this terrace is clearly the main attraction of the apartment and one of the reasons we paid more for it. This renovation is not something minor that just started recently, the whole place looks like a construction site and has probably been this way for weeks before we arrived.

Soyez en forme pour les escaliers, la vue est à couper le souffle, la chambre avec balcon permet de profiter de la lumière extraordinaire et d'un petit déjeuner sur terrasse. Riomaggiore est, en toute objectivité, de loin le plus beau village des Cinque Terre. Tout est à porté de main, les touristes sont super biens accueillis et nous avons même eu droit à une réservation dernière minute faite par Andrea au Resto Dau Cila, exquis! Andrea et Michele sont des gens d'exception, fiables et très serviables! J'y aurais passé beaucoup plus de temps!
• Burdg (10/5): Une vue imprenable - Un séjour parfait pour notre anniversaire de mariage, avec une vue imprenable sur la mer et le village coloré. L’endroit est charmant, décoré avec goût, et l’accueil chaleureux. Les extérieurs sont superbes : une belle terrasse avec chaises longues, parfaite pour admirer le coucher du soleil sur les falaises et profiter du calme de la Ligurie. Nous avons dîné dans le village, à quelques minutes à pied, et c’était délicieux. Une adresse que je garde précieusement pour un prochain séjour aux Cinque Terre.

Salle de bain avec une grande douche. L'appartement dispose d'une terrasse privée avec une vue à couper le souffle sur la mer et le village. Emplacement idéal à proximité du port, avec le point d'embarquement des ferries et de la gare Parfait pour une étape inoubliable lors de la découverte des Cinque Terre. Je recommande vivement cet Appartement.

• Baker (10/5): Excellent stay with amazing view! - The views from the private terrace are wonderful! Everyone was polite and courteous, especially Andrea, who was so helpful and kind. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. The accommodation is super clean and comfortable. The location is perfect, right in the center of the village. We could walk to many restaurants, and in the evening the area becomes fully pedestrian, full of people and with an amazing summer vibe. The private terrace is a real plus, with a wonderful view of the sea and the town's small port. The views are spectacular, relaxing and enjoyable! Highly recommended.

Waking up and enjoying a coffee overlooking Riomaggiore and the sea was unforgettable. The location is fantastic, within easy walking distance of both the harbor and the train station, which makes exploring Cinque Terre really convenient. If you have heavy luggage, a cab might be the best option, but if you travel light it’s definitely manageable on foot. The apartment itself was cozy, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Having our own private outdoor space made it even more special. Our host was wonderful. Very welcoming, responsive, and helpful with tips about local restaurants and things to do. We loved our time at SailorsRest and would absolutely stay here again. Desde a chegada senti uma atmosfera acolhedora e autêntica, como se estivesse vivendo por alguns dias no coração da vila. O espaço era muito bem cuidado, confortável e cheio de detalhes que mostravam atenção e carinho. Tudo estava impecavelmente limpo, e a vista dos arredores dava aquele toque especial que fez a viagem ainda mais memorável. O grande destaque foi a belíssima terraça privativa com vista para o mar, onde pude relaxar ao pôr do sol com uma taça de vinho — um momento simplesmente inesquecível. A localização é excelente: perto do centro, dos restaurantes e do mar, mas ao mesmo tempo tranquila o suficiente para descansar bem à noite. Pude explorar as Cinque Terre com facilidade e sempre voltava “para casa” com a sensação de estar em um lugar especial. O anfitrião foi extremamente simpático e disponível, oferecendo dicas que tornaram minha estadia ainda melhor. Essa hospitalidade fez toda a diferença e me deixou com vontade de voltar em breve. El apartamento está en una ubicación privilegiada, en pleno corazón de Riomaggiore, lo que nos permitió vivir de cerca el encanto del pueblo y movernos fácilmente hacia los demás lugares de las Cinque Terre. Waking up in the morning and stepping outside to that wide, open view of the sea felt like a dream. It’s the kind of view that stays with you long after the trip is over. The location is excellent, tucked away just enough to feel peaceful, yet still close to the heart of Riomaggiore with its charming streets, restaurants, and shops. The hosts were wonderful as well, very attentive and quick to answer any questions, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. If you’re looking for a place that combines comfort, convenience, and an extraordinary view, Sailors Rest is the perfect choice. The terrace alone is worth the trip. You won’t want to leave!

The apartment is spotless, modern, and very comfortable, equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The highlight, without a doubt, is the spacious terrace overlooking the Sea. The perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee, a glass of wine at sunset, or simply soak in the incredible views. Communication with the host was excellent: friendly, responsive, and very helpful with recommendations about local restaurants and things to do. La ubicación es excelente, a pocos pasos del centro de Riomaggiore, pero en una zona tranquila que permite descansar y disfrutar de la auténtica atmósfera de las Cinque Terre. Lo que realmente hace especial a este lugar es su terraza privada con una vista panorámica impresionante: un privilegio de pocos en Riomaggiore. Despertar con el mar frente a los ojos o disfrutar de una copa de vino al atardecer con ese paisaje inolvidable fue, sin duda, uno de los mejores momentos de nuestro viaje. El anfitrión fue muy atento y siempre dispuesto a ayudarnos con recomendaciones locales que hicieron nuestra experiencia aún más especial. Keys were passed to us by a lovely lady Andrea, who explained all to us. Really liked the recycling bins being put in place considering the place being green. Good air-conditioning in place. Thank you for a lovely stay. Kids were hoping for a hammock as in the photo but none in place. Nevertheless still lovely stay with a beautiful view. 10 out of 10 :-)

The bathroom is large with a nice shower, bidet & window. The view from our private terrace was gorgeous, as advertised. Sleeping to the sound of gentle waves and waking up to the quiet of the cliff life on the Mediterranean Sea is priceless. The best is experiencing Riomaggiore once all the daily tourist’s boats are gone. Great service from Andrea and her team, there when needed but fully respectful of my privacy. We would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Riomaggiore or Cinque Terre.

We had the most amazing time in Cinque Terre and Andrea’s place and hospitality was amazing. She was so helpful and kind, the space was very clean and we had daily service which surprised us. The owners, Michele and Andrea, were very kind, helpful and very accommodation to our needs. The room was clean, bright, and comfortable. You cannot beat the view of row boats waiting to be taken out onto the water and the cute little Cinque Terre houses side by side. Highly recommend due to friendly host, location, and comfort.

Not only are the views incredible from every point, the staff and attention to detail is fantastic. Easy to communicate with via WhatsApp and the parking is also very convenient as well! Cannot recommend SailorsRest Riomaggiore enough!

Located right in the heart of the picture postcard Cinque Terre village of Riomaggiore, the rooms and terrace provide gorgeous views over the village and the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. The room was lovely and little extras like a free mini bar and bottle of Prosecco on arrival made us feel very welcome. We cannot recommend SailorsRest enough as the perfect small hotel for a relaxing hideaway which is at the same time just metres away from the hustle and bustle of the charming village of Riomaggiore.

• Van (10/5): A magical place with breathtaking views - Arriving in Riomaggiore was like walking into a fairytale. SailorsRest was our favorite stay of our entire Italy vacation. The spectacular views of the beautiful sea and stunning sunsets were enjoyed from our room as well as from the private terrace where you can sit and relax away from the crowds. The outdoor garden was a wonderful place to soak our tired legs while admiring the view after a busy day. Staying here allowed us unlimited access to walk the Via dell’Amore in both directions. The combination of comfort, location, and view made this a perfect base for exploring the Cinque Terre.

The room is large enough with a large closet & everything you need, especially as there is a private large terrace overlooking the sea. The bathroom is large with a nice shower, bidet & window. The bed was very comfortable, and coffee/tea/water & biscotti were provided in the room. Andrea was a delightful host who met us at the train & carried our luggage up the many stairs, and was always available for questions. We would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Cinque Terre!

The views overlooking the postcard perfect town of Riomaggiore and the sea were breathtaking. We sat out on our own private terrace and enjoyed the sunset after a strenuous hike to Vernazza. Our room was beautifully decorated and very clean. The staff were courteous and friendly. I could not recommend this hotel more!

The bed is loft bed. You have to climb up to it. Not good at night. Very little head room clearance. Better options in La Spezia.
• Han (5/5): Passable - The terrance advertised is not the terrance guests have access to. The one advertised with unobstructed views, dining table and hammock is on a higher floor, under construction and not accessible to guests. The one available to guests is on lower floor with views obstructed by bush and building, no hammock and a lot smaller.
• Whitney (5/5): Book elsewhere! - I didn't like that the owners constantly emailed us asking for more information. Several times a day while we were on vacation (right before we arrived here). And once we answered them, they would ask for something else. Also, they made a big deal about my 1 year old baby not being on the original booking and tried charging me for him when other hotels said they have to be over two. Several more emails were sent! Lastly I will say this, one of the reasons we booked this place was for the beautiful view. False advertising! The terrace is not even connected to this room (you have to walk up 40 stairs to get to it and it's falling apart). It looks like it hasn't been used in years, they even referred us to use a nearby terrace that is not as nice. Stay somewhere else!

Your choice if you do - The overall asset is the terrace.. this pays for everything… amazing is the minimum I can say.. buy something to drink and eat in the town and enjoy it on the terrace.. The booking.com info is not correct. It is a sutterain Appartment, very humid and not really something for a romantic stay. There is only a small window . The sea view as you expect you only have from the terrace-but this terrace is not connected to the Appartment-you have to take some stairs - and you have to close your Appartment. Not a big issue, but misleading on booking.com

The AC worked well to keep the room cool. The BEST was the beautiful private terrace that overlooked the harbor, it was beautiful! Make sure the bring bug spray with you, the mosquitos were out. Ladies were lovely and was great to have a complimentary breakfast.

The woman who showed me to my place was also lovely. Breakfast was very light, but still very tasty.

Owner withdrawn without asking 73 EUR for a broken chair. But the chair was really old and in bad condition. No way we will pay for that. Furniture in a rented room should of course be in a condition so it can be used normally. Besides the view from terrace and Andrea, there are not much nice to say.

• Linda (10/5): Magnificent view of the most beautiful place - Wonderful terrace with the best view of Riomaggiore. It's the terrace that makes the accommodation worth every penny. The room itself has the facilities promised, although the air conditioner and dehumidifier are quite noisy, and the handover of the key was a little awkward but worked. A bit of a hurdle is ok for the happiness of staying overnight in one of the most beautiful villages on earth.
