• Virginia (10/5): Fantástico! - El riad es muy bonito y pintoresco. Todo estaba muy limpio y las camas y las almohadas han sido muy cómodas. Hemos estado alojadas en una habitación del segundo piso. El desayuno muy completo y copioso, tradicional marroquí. El personal muy atento y servicial. La ubicación es perfecta, cerca de la plaza Jemaa El Fna y muy fácil de encontrar. Todo estuvo muy bien. No tengo nada negativo que señalar.

Peccato che non fosse possibile fare aperiti - Camera molto carina e con stile proprio tipico che abbiamo molto apprezzato. La colazione era davvero abbondante e molto varia. La camera aveva alcune cose da sistemare ad esempio: rubinetti che si muovevano un po’ e porta carta igienica rotto. Un peccato che la terrazza all’ultimo piano, così carina e piacevole, non sai troppo curata.

La struttura era accogliente e con molti spazi comuni dove poter rilassarsi. Posizione top se si vuole essere in pochi minuti a piedi nel cuore della Medina. In generale, la struttura è molto tranquilla, anche la sera. Lo staff è molto accogliente, sempre disposto a dare suggerimenti sul viaggio e gentile (il che non guasta mai, anzi). La colazione con the, caffè, msemen e altri prodotti tipici era buonissima. Abdul, Ismael, la cuoca gentilissima, e tutto il team hanno fatto tutto il possibile per farci sentire a casa. La stanza era pulita, tuttavia le lenzuola avevano qualche macchia e peli.

• Janzing (10/5): Die Unterkunft war super und wir würden sie jederzeit wieder buchen. - Die Unterkunft war in einer super Lage, alles ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Das Personal ist außerordentlich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Unterkunft ist sauber und trotz der Lage sehr ruhig. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und toll zubereitet.

• Ben (10/5): A wonderful night in an authentic, peaceful Riad. - It was decorated beautifully inside, everything was ornate and more authentic than another Riad we stayed at. The staff were also exceptionally nice, sitting down with us on arrival with a pot of mint tea, allowing us to store luggage there during our day in Marrakesh, and making us a meal even though we arrived slightly later than anticipated. It was also very calm, quiet and peaceful despite being so close to the main street, and with many other guests staying. Nothing, everything was excellent.
• Loïc (9/5): Un beau riad accueillant et bien placé au sud de la Medina - C’était le 3e hébergement de notre voyage au Maroc et ce que nous avons particulièrement apprécié ici était le petit déjeuner, excellent, et la pression et la qualité de l’eau du robinet (pas de sel, pas de chlore). Le personnel était également très accueillant et a pu répondre rapidement à nos demandes. La chambre que nous avions était un peu sombre, dommage que les portes n’aient pas été vitrées plutôt que 100% bois, et les rideaux aux fenêtres moins occultants.

Obsługa bardzo pomocna.. śniadania serwowane od godz.8, mieliśmy zaplanową wycieczkę o 7 rano, dostaliśmy zapakowane śniadanie na wynos. Małe, skromne ale miły gest! Bardzo ładny taras. Riad na zdjęciach wydawał sie trochę wiekszy ale mimo wszystko zrobił bardzo pozytywne wrażenie. Bardzo polecam!

• lofino (8/5): Soggiorno Top a Marrakech - Il Riad è super consigliato per tanti aspetti. Comodità per raggiungerlo in auto (circa 15-20min dall’aeroporto) e vicinanza per visitare/raggiungere le principali attrazioni della Medina a piedi. Ubicato in strada secondaria rispetto a quella centrale e quindi molto silenzioso. Letti molto comodi e stanza ampia e pulita (noi avevamo una tripla con 2 ambienti separati). Colazione top servita in questo momento dell’ anno nella loro sala da pranzo in tipico stile marocchino. Rapporto qualità/prezzo super!! Molto gentile e disponibile sia il proprietario Abdul che il personale. Super super consigliato! La stanza era un po' buia se proprio devo trovare un lato negativo ma credo sia una caratteristica degli ambienti marocchini.

Amenities were a bit old (shower was a bit rustic), the room smelled humidity. Although the staff was doing their best to clean everything, the facilities could have been renovated.

• ibrahim (10/5): Super Riad avec une équipe exceptionnelle !! - Le Riad est exceptionnel ! Situé entre la place Mellah et de la place Djema El Fna. Les chambres sont très accueillantes, le patio et la terrasse des endroits magnifiques avec énormément de charme. L’établissement est très bien entretenu. Chaque chambre dispose d’un petit coin privatif à l’extérieur où il possible de prendre un thé et se détendre. Le grand salon permet de prendre le pdj ou les repas le tout dans un cadre très typique. Le plus du séjour: tout le personnel a été au petit soin pour que nous nous sentions comme à la maison. Les petits déjeuner et les dîners sont exceptionnels et préparés par Fatima avec son sourire inoubliable ! Un grand merci à toute l’équipe également Zachariah qui a été là pour nous accueillir même lors de nos retours tardifs le soir. Enfin des remerciements très particuliers à Abdou qui a été de très bon conseil pour toutes nos visites, sorties et activités et qui a veillé en toutes circonstances à que notre séjours se déroule au mieux. Nous ne pouvons que le remercier. Nous étions 2 couples avec 3 ados qui se souviendront de ce séjour. Un grand Merci ! Je recommande ce Riad sans hésitation. Nous reviendrons. Tout était parfait !

Avevamo chiesto il trasferimento dall'aeroporto ed è andato tutto benissimo. Il Riad è un vero gioiellino in un'ottima posizione, camere pulite , letto un pochino scomodo ma tutto sommato siamo trovati molto bene! Grazie per l'accoglienza!

• Chelsea (10/5): Perfect home away from home in Marrakesh - Beautiful riad in an ideal location. The staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful, they really made our visit special. They can also help to arrange day trips and activities. The location is off a side alley from the main crowds so it’s quieter while also easy to access. The breakfast is delicious. Would definitely stay here again!

• Sabrina (10/5): Tolle Unterkunft mitten in der Medina - Das Riad befindet sich direkt in der Medina. Die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten sind alle zu Fuss erreichbar. Wir haben den Transfer vom Flughafen über das Riad organisiert, das Gepäck wurde uns vom Taxi in die Unterkunft gebracht. Toller Service. Restaurants, Cafés sind genug in der Umgebung. Ein paar mal um die Ecke gelaufen und direkt im Souk. Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett, gaben uns Tipps und haben einen Termin im Hammam für unser Familie gebucht. Die Zimmer sind so schön, die Dachterrasse sonnig und zum erholen. Den kleinen Pool konnten wir nicht nutzen. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und können es weiter empfehlen.

• Iunia Mara (10/5): Overall the Riad is a good option. - The Riad is clean and comfortable. Our room was pretty big and the interior design was amazing. We came in January and it was a bit cold, the AC is not enough and the humidity is really high. The water was cold in the shower and you need to wait a lot till you have warm water. The location is on a narrow street, and in the night can be pretty scarry.

Non abbiamo potuto usare la terrazza perche siamo andati a dicembre. Ambiente accogliente e genuino, avremmo voluto provare a cenare nel Riad ma non ne abbiamo avuto l'occasione anche se i profumi erano molto invitanti. Ambienti comuni fruibili nella bella stagione ma in inverno poco utilizzabili.

• Bikram (9/5): It was a very pleasant stay at this property. We stayed for 5 days and most we like is the stuff and their flexibility o - The location and the stuff. Nothing much only thing inside noise can go out and outside noise will come in easily, but this is not a problem as Riad has not many suits and each floor has max e suits I guess.
• Jaan (5/5): Manipulating the exchange rate to overcharge - Large room and comfortable bed My main problem is setting the price in Euros, then applying an inflated exchange rate, and being charged in local currency. This is obviously intentional to have the supposed price in MAD converted to EUR, and then back to MAD before actually paying. The shower was not good. The breakfast was below average. Using fake orange juice in this country does not make any sense.
• Aylin Sophie (7/5): Lacking service- & customer orientation - Well situated in Medina Although the check-in time was officially 2pm, our room was not ready until 3pm. We were left in the reception room without any information on how long we need to wait until our room is ready. Also, it was very cold in the room and the heating (AC) run all the time, but didn't heat up the room at all. On my birthday, we asked for eggs for breakfast but they just said, they don't have any. Quite disappointing for a booking in this category. Overall, little service- and customer-orientation.

• Natalie (10/5): Peaceful, beautiful Riad with fantastic hosts. - This Riad is in a fantastic location and incredibly peaceful, your hosts are absolutely wonderful and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are stunning and we had the Attarine room with its own terrace on the first floor, we had breakfast on our terrace in the mornings and enjoyed a home cooked Moroccan feast prepared by the lovely Fatima one evening before an early morning balloon flight. The food was incredible. The medina is a few steps away yet in the Riad you could hear a pin drop it was so quiet and peaceful. Fantastic place and I would highly recommend it. Nothing
• Lawrence (10/5): Authentic Riad experience in the heart of old town. - Authentic old Riad feel Extremely welcoming and helpful staff especially Fatima the cook and Abdul the manager but all staff smile and say hello. Very peaceful within the Riad - an oasis from the hussle and bustle. Staff are helpful in arranging activity and restaurants. Nothing , but bear in mind need to reach on foot through the Souk ( porter met us ) and lots of stairs so would not be good if had any mobility issues.

• Leon (10/5): Beautiful Riad in the Medina. Amazingly peaceful. - Gorgeous room in a beautiful Riad in the Medina. Quiet and peaceful. Lovely breakfast. Friendly staff. This was a great place to stay at the end of our organised tour of Morocco. We were able to relax before heading home. We had the Attarine double room. -

• Phillipa (8/5): - Traditional riad in the medina, cool and calm amidst the hustle and bustle on the doorstep. Very helpful staff, lovely breakfast included in the price which you can have by the pool, on your terrace or on the rooftop. Nothing particularly to dislike. Just a point to note that that no alcohol is available at the property despite the welcome message after booking and in the info provided in the room. Bring your own from duty free to enjoy on your terrace.

• Anne (10/5): Fantastic Riad made all the more enjoyable by the wonderfull staff. - Perfect location and a wonderful Riad. Superb breakfast and wonderful staff, nothing was too much trouble for the manager Abdul or his staff. We booked via Abdul the manager both a trip to the Ourika Valley and a Hot Air Ballloon over the desert to see the sunrise, both were fantastic and well managed. The Riad is perfectly located within the Medina, just a few minutes walk to 'Jemma el- Fna' Square, Mellah, El Badi & Bahia Palaces. The Riad was truly beautiful and exceptionally clean, with daily housekeeping and 24 hour service. The roof terrace is a wonderful space to relax and unwind after a hectic day of exploring and we made great use of it. All in all this was genuinely a wonderful holiday made all the more comfortable and enjoyable by Abdul and his team, we cannot speak highly enough of them and the service they provided to us. We do not hesitate in recommending Riad Dar El Souk and we are sure if you stay there you too will have a memorable and enjoyable time. Thank you Abdul and team ... you really did help make this a special trip. Truthfully cannot think of anything that we didn't like. It is very difficult to find criticism with any aspect of our stay at this Riad.

Il Riad è molto pulito non grande ma curato silenzioso e in una posizione perfetta, colazione molto buona Nulla se devo trovare un piccolo difetto riguarda gli asciugamani puliti ma datati
• Ted (10/5): - This Riad is a wonderful place to stay in Marrakech, it feels like an oasis of calm in the middle of a very busy and bustling city! All the staff are super friendly and the food is delicious! The main square, Jmaa El Fna is a very short walk awat from the location and well worth a visit!
