Guest Reviews
- paulo (8/5): - Staff is really good
Even if from outside the hotel doesn’t look that great, same for the stair etc, the rooms are super clean and the beds are comfortable
For solo trips, this is a good place to stay for a correct price.
I won’t recommend for family stay as the bedrooms are pretty small, unless it is with a baby
- Karam (6/5): - Good location hotel with small rooms, no drinking water served with the room. Hotel is 10minutes walking from Republic square and have a metro station in less than 100m.
- Michelle (8/5): - Cleanliness has been mentioned by others, so was my concern... It was good for bedroom and bathroom. The only things that let it down were some splash marks from a drink on the curtains, which didn't look nice, but weren't unhygienic. All surfaces had been wiped and floors clear.
Plenty of space, really helpful staff.
Basic, and good value.
- Cynthia (6/5): - Clean and safe area near metro and buses. No air conditioning and no fans available, so extremely still and warm in my room. Staff were exceptional! No lift so if you have bad knees, be cautious. Overall, for the price decent deal.
- YOUNGHWAN (2/5): Horrible! - No lift. Slum neighborhood. Old building. Poor amenity. High room rate. Never recommend!
- Jim (10/5): - Schoon hotel.
- Ryan (4/5): - The place was pretty dirty and the wall is like made by paper. shower temp could be too hot or too cold.
The staff are friendly and helpful.
Literie correcte
- Jamie (6/5): - Close to bus/metro station with places to eat nearby. No towels, not soundproof rooms, said there was breakfast, but didn’t have breakfast. Thankful for 24 hour desk!
- Takuya (8/5): - Location
- Suzanne (8/5): - Good basic hotel! Perfect for a night before exploring Paris! Very near the metro so very practical location.
- Sherif (8/5): - Very simple and basic hotel, but then again very inexpensive.
Suitable if you’re looking for a safe place to hang your hat, just spend a couple of nights in lovely Paris.
Very central location in Paris. Friendly service, check-in, and out were a breeze.
I would go there again if I’m on a budget.
- WILLIAM (8/5): Cool Place - Friendly staff. Easy and quick check-in. Could check-in before the usual check-in time slot, which was excellent. I could easily rest aftett an early morning start. Strangely, the hotel is situated in a busy area, but I couldn't hear any noise, which was good for a peaceful night. The rooms could do with a bit more thorough cleaning. Easily accessible, centrally located. Lots of shops and cultural places around. Thanks to the gentleman at reception during my arrival and departure. Check-out was quick & easy. as well.
- Lycan (10/5): - The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room was clean with plenty of towels. The one bad part is that the location is down an alleyway/sidestreet. Other than that it was amazing.
- Essi (2/5): - Location was quite ok, but cleaniness wasn’t. Plase was dirty and you can hear every noise from other rooms (even snoring) and outside.
- Alovisi (8/5): - Personale gentile e disponibile
Ottima posizione
- Gabriel (2/5): - Wifi did not work
- Sebastien (2/5): horrible - Chambre très sale
- Derrick A (10/5): - The stay was excellent and very comfortable.
- Hardeep (4/5): worst hotel experience - No heating worked during the stay , ridiculously cold . Stayed for four days and towels were not changed unless we asked . No one came to clean the room in 4 days until the third day the cleaner provided us with towels only after we mentioned it at reception . Very unhelpful and rude staff .
- Yeji (10/5): Great hotel - Host was really kind and the room was really cozy and clean
I absolutely liked this place and recommend this place
- Unknown (6/5): - Bathroom was dirty. There was no soap/shampoo holder in the shower. There was an unpleasant odour coming out from the washroom vent.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Is really complicated sleeping here you can easy hear the noises from the neighbors shower, or when someone is claiming the stairs no recommend at all . The neighborhood is a bad area
- Rio (8/5): The previous reviews were right - Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Close to metro station. It just sucks that there's no elevator and that their first floor rooms are actually on the 2nd floor. Otherwise, everything else was good.
No barren
No sacuden
- Chelsea (6/5): - It was ok, room was a little smaller than I expected and one of the staff came into my room while I was in bed! Not safe for a girl going on a solo travel!
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Ontzettend vuil hotel.
- Unclean (4/5): - The room was not clean, there was hair from the previous guest still hanging on the bathroom tiles, the dust had not been done, the sheets were also very sketchy with hair that were definitely not mine :(
I had the ground floor room and it smelled constantly of cigarette smoke from the people that went right outside. Will not recommend unless you can’t find anything else in Paris.
- Daniel Enrique (10/5): Great stay! Clean, friendly and close to POIs - The room was clean, the staff was friendly and the location was really convenient for tourism! Definitely recommend!
WiFi was a bit slow but not an issue when choosing this place!
- Tina (6/5): Billig og bra👍😎 - Helt greit hotell, bodde i 4 etg. Uten heis. Det var tungt😨
Hyggelig betjening🤗
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Billigt hotel. Det var hyggeligt og i rolige omgivelser. Personalet var meget hjælpsomt.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Staff could be friendlier & didn’t like how there was no elevator because I had heavy luggage.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Room was clean. However the only bad thing was that there is no kettle and lift
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very close to metro less than 2 minute walk, lots of pubs and restaurants around , close to McDonald’s , close to republique which has lots of busy restaurants and pubs and nightlife
- Ambreen (6/5): Good location but not worth the price. 1 Star. - The hotel in is a decent area. With metro and bus stops within 200 yards. We walked from Gard de Nord in 25 minutes.
The hotel is run like a hostel, you have to hand in the key with the massive keyring whenever leaving the hotel. Breakfast is 8.5 euro for plain continental! We went to the main breakfast shop on the corner every morning. Bed sheets had hairs and needed changing.
Rooms have no A.C, it was cold outside but very warm in the room in March! You can not stay in this hotel without A.C in the summer unless you like to sleep in a sauna.
This hotel is not for family or couples but maybe for the backpacker if you get a cheap price otherwise avoid.
I will not be staying there again, unless the hotel resolve the problems.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - All good. I had a nice stay there. Good place to stay.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - clean room ,quiet street. few minutes walk to underground. plenty of restaurant and Caffe in the area.
- DannySaneh (10/5): - The Guys are supper nice, the place is clean and the location is central. I was very comfortable at Aix Europe
- Panagiota (10/5): - everything was great.clean and the location was in centre of Paris
- Glass (6/5): - Basic hotel to stay a couple of days. Friendly staff.
- R (4/5): - A big note to everyone, the Hotel does not have lifts available - we had to carry our two large suitcases and two carry-ons up the staircase right up to level four. Hotel beds weren’t regularly changed and we found cockroaches all over our room. On top of that the heating system is coil heating and only 4 of the 6 coils work. On a good note the staff were friendly.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great location, near to lots of nightlife and a Metro station. Had a really lovely couple of day here! Staff were friendly and helpful. Recommend it.
- Eric (8/5): Clean budget room - Clean, well located room to sleep. Nice value
- Letchimi (8/5): - Staff are nice and though we were not able to communicate as we don't know local language, the staff tried to help us as much possible. Accommodation close to Metro station. For travellers/tourists, the hotel provides basic comfort and good location.
- Robert (8/5): Good basic hotel - The room was clean but basic. This was expected because of the reasonable price paid for the room. The location was good with many restaurants nearby and the metro just around the corner. If the price is right I would stay here again.
- Brendan (6/5): - Great access from rail and to station. Checkin was so easy.
- T (6/5): - This was a nice hotel but the Wifi did not work efficiently and would always stall. If you would like to work on business or just stream movies you will not be able to do so. In addition the walls are very thin and you can hear *everything*. Other than that the hotel was very clean and in a nice location. The staff is very friendly.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Very small. No towels just two small ones. No tissues just one in the bathroom. Not very clean bedding. No elevator.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Small, but exactly what we needed. A little home base to sleep and leave our things, nothing fancy. Attentive staff were available 24 hours, room was clean and comfortable.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great location and clean - This was a great location. Staff didn't speak a lot of English though we got by! It was very clean, a little nosiy because they were doing construction outside. No AC and hated when ppl smoked the smell came right through the window. It was odd that the was no shower curtain so the bathroom would be very wet after a shower, though I would stay here again. Location right between to metro stations.
- Adrian (8/5): - My room was small but it was very clean and the staff were terrific; also in an extremely convenient location.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Simple, clean and convenient - All the different receptionists were kind and polite. The location is great, easy walk to two metro stations and many restaurants nearby. The room is clean, though with a slight smell of new furniture. Ventilation could be improved. Amenities were satisfactory. The toilet was very very close to the wash basin. Would stay again.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Staff were nice, hotel is in a dodgy area never felt safe walking around there. Other guests made our stay awful with noise/arguments and hotel did nothing
- Laura (8/5): Really good quality for the price you pay. - Honestly I didn’t have high expectations after reading some of the reviews but I can happily say that this hotel was a pleasant surprise.
My room was big with a lot of light, the room was REALLY clean (something I value a lot) they clean the room everyday. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom is small but the shower temperature works wonders and is all you really need.
The guy at the reception didn’t spoke much English but he was nice so overall all I give this hotel 7/10. Is 8min walking distance from Republique and all the other hotels in the center are waaaay more expensive. If you are going to spend 4 days in Paris (2 at Disneyland, 2 in Paris) want to be in the center but not break your pockets, definitely I recommend this place.
Yes my room was in the 4th floor and there is no elevator but unless you have a huge suitcase you should be fine!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Value for money - Stayed here for 4 days and 3 nights. We were assigned a room in the 3rd floor. No lift so every day was exercise day for us. No complaints though as we are young and relatively healthy individuals. I woudn't recommend it to people who are 50 and above though. Service was good. People on the front desk were helpful. Breakfast was basic. Room has no AC so i can just imagine how warm it can get during the summer. The neighborhood can get a little dirty on weekends because of drunk people peeing on the street. I had to zigzag my way to the Metro. Goncourt station is a couple minutes away and so are little cafes where you can buy breakfast. All in all, it gave us a good stay during our Paris trip. Just cover your nose on the way to the Metro if you see pee on the ground/walls.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Elena - Room is very small and very basic no lift area is close to metro
- Verified traveler (6/5): Nice hotel close to the centre of Paris - Nice, generally quite place near the Metro with a great bed! The room I stayed in had no bath but the place was clean. On the downside the hotel has no elevator but the staff were friendly and accommodating with bags. I would recommend this hotel for those travelling on a budget but not for those who have disabilities. It's location is fairly central and the condition of the hotel was more than satisfactory.
- veruska (6/5): - The hotel is in a very bad location its really far way from Gare du Nord ,when I booked the room they said that was near the station Gare du Nord and the room was located in a 3 floor without lift in a old building that I could hear all the noise from stairs when people walk in the stairs.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Price is reasonable, location is good. Staff is helpful.
- Precious (8/5): Nice and Clena Hotel - Will come back.
Really nice hotel, although the room is small, it was very clean and slept comfortably.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Nice rooms but sketchy staff - The hotel seemed a little sketchy with the staff that greeted us. It looked like a group of 3 guys behind the counter hanging out... the rooms were very clean, but that was the only positive.
- Bill (6/5): Close to traffic access, that's all - On the first day, I could not find my reserved tickets from Paris tourism department online beforehand.
However, I finally found them at the front just after the phone call with the staff of the department and she called the hotel to check again. So, as I guess, the staff of this hotel should be more careful with customer's needs not only the hotel service.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Cute cozy room, friendly and helpful staff. Good location.
- christel (8/5): Nice hotel but too far away from activities - The hotel is ok, clean, has wifi however nothing to make your stay pleasant when its 30 degrees or more in Paris. The hotel should really think about this. The hotel is located far away from the main attractions
