- Sebastian Franz (8/5): Ganz in Ordnung für 2-3 Tage - Insgesamt ein schönes Resort, um im Norden anzukommen. Service an der Rezeption super, Service an der Bar/Restaurant ging so... aber sehr tolle Anlage. Dass es mitten im Jungle nicht möglich ist alles picko bello sauber zu halten ist ganz klar 😉 wir waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Kleiner Hinweis auf der Homepage wirbt das Hotel damit auch vegane Speisen anzubieten, diese sind jedoch sehr limitiert und sehr klein portioniert. Massage war super. Highlight definitiv das Horseback Riding. Vegane Speisen Service Bar/Restaurant könnte besser sein Sauberkeit der Liegen (Schimmel), sollte erneuert werden!

Vooral de Engelssprekende personeelsleden waren super behulpzaam en namen echt de tijd om tips te geven voor mijn verdere reis. Dat maakte het extra persoonlijk! Ook heel lief dat ik denk de eigenaar me een rit naar Tayrona Park gaf. Dat soort kleine gebaren maken het verschil. Zeker een plek waar je je welkom voelt.

- Rojas (9/5): Gracias kantawa - Hermoso hotel para desconectar y relajarse. La comida es un 1000, productos de primera calidad y sabrosos. La pileta, hidromasaje y sauna son increíbles. En nuestra habitación hacia mucho calor y el aire acondicionado nunca funciono. Te cobran hasta el agua caliente para el mate. La bebida te la cobran 4 veces mas cara qué en cualquier mercado, punto a mejorar para el consumo en el hotel.

- Eldridge (10/5): - Me gusto el ambiente naturaly lo que ofrece conectar con otros sentidos y la atencion muy bien de todos principalmente de Rosa y Juan Sebastian. No ofrecen un menu bueno de carnes. Quisimos comer una buena carne pero no tienen carnes buenas maduradas empacadas al vacio listas para preparar. Uno de los momentos mas incomodos para mi fue cuando nos estaban haciendo el masaje de canavis y teniendo en cuenta que le habian dicho a mi esposo que era mas fàcil para ellas hacer el masaje sin ropa interior, nosotros en muchas partes nos hacemos este tipo de masajes y nunca nos han pedido q nos quitemos la ropa interior, lo digo por q pude observar en sus rostros burla cada vez q le retiraban la toalla o lo volteban, esto es falta de profesionalismo, ademas deberían ofrecer ropa interior desechable para estos procedimientos.

Personal muy amable, en especial la gerente, que se ofreció a acercarnos a un punto que para nosotros era de complicado acceso, pues no disponíamos de carro. El masaje con el sonido del rio de fondo es otra dimensión, recomendable 100%. Esa noche dormí como bebé, aunque igual tenía algo que ver la comodidad de la cama, la mejor en la que he dormido en toda mi estancia en Colombia. La comida estuvo deliciosa, mis felicitaciones a los cocineros y al chico que atendía en el comedor, muy amable y atento. Recomendable darse un baño en su spa al aire libre, especialmente en la noche. Muy cerca del parque Tayrona, pasan buses por la misma puerta del hotel. Hacer ruta por Tayrona y poder volver a relajarse a este hotel no tiene precio. Mil gracias por todo, deseando volver. Un poco lenta la comunicación con el personal de recepción vía WhatsApp. Olvidé una ropa en la habitación y avisamos de que íbamos a pasar a buscarla con el bus para que la tuvieran preparada. No lo hicieron y nos tuvimos que bajar del bus y volver a tomar otro. Deberían prestar más atención a esos detalles.
- Esmaralda (8/5): Relax hotel, maar ontbijt niet zo best0 - De rust, kleinschalig opgezet. Het ontbijt, elke ochtend hetzelfde, fruit waarvan 1x de watermeloen zuur was🤔 roerei en koffie. Als je water wilde moest je er gewoon voor betalen. Geen menu kaart voor de drankjes, je weet dus geen prijzen van te voren. Er staat in de omschrijving Tayrona park op 1 minuut afstand, maar naar de ingang komen is niet zo makkelijk. Je moet de bus aanhouden zonder dat er een stopplek is voor de deur of op loopafstand. En dan is het nog wel een 20 min met de bus. Er zijn ook geen taxi's of ubers die je hier kan pakken.

- Roos (9/5): - Alle medewerkers zijn super vriendelijk en gastvrij! Wij voelde ons meteen welkom! De locatie is perfect, tussen de ingangen van het park. Wij kozen voor El Zaine en gingen daar met de taxi vanuit het hotel heen. Na een hike door de natuur konden we nog heerlijk relaxen bij het zwembad van het hotel. Het eten in het restaurant is ook goed! Niks!

- Jonas (10/5): Highly recommend for a stay before and after tayrona! - Fantastic food from Carlos the cook and fantastic hospitality from Charles and his team! The site is beautiful and directly next to the river. So don’t forget you mosquito spray! Very helpful team, we asked them to store our luggage for two days because we stayed in tayrona for two nights and it was no problem at all. They even offered us to use the pool area afterwards.

- Christel (8/5): Lovely staff and pool - Lovely swimming pool and staff. Food in the restaurant was just delicious! It’s approximately 10 minutes by bus from Tayrona NP. Just go outside in front of the hotel and stop a bus passing by. As we were spending the night in Tayrona NP we left our luggage in the hotel which was no problem at all! The rooms are a bit worn but definitely ok and clean and with nice hot shower. We spent most of the time out of our room anyway, enjoying the lovely pool and restaurant.

Inoltre, ci hanno lasciato utilizzare la piscina dopo la nostra gita al parco nonostante non dovessimo più dormire lì quella notte - il cibo molto buono sia a cena che a colazione L’unico punto di attenzione è l’attesa per la cena (buonissima) solo perché cucinano tutto al momento

Ideal para descansar y desconectar. Lo que más destacamos es el personal: súper amables, cercanos y siempre pendientes de que estuviéramos bien. Nos ayudaron en todo momento y nos hicieron sentir como en casa. Sin duda, volveríamos. ¡Gracias por una experiencia tan bonita! Ha sido todo perfecto.

- RLV2 (10/5): Wonderful Stay near Tayrona - Such a beautiful place! We were welcomed by Manuel and brought a delicious welcome drink. He gave us a tour of the resort. Whatever we needed was taken care of immediately. The food was delicious. The resort is only about 10 minutes to Tayrona, El Zaino entrance. We were exhausted after a hike in the park and it was pouring outside so they brought us room service that night. The next day we enjoyed the resort, swimming, relaxing, and having a wonderful massage. The massage area is right over the river so the sounds are so relaxing, I believe I fell asleep! We enjoyed both the Turkish bath and the sauna! The day we were leaving I wasn’t feeling well so we were able to check out about 30 minutes later. Manuel called a taxi for us and it arrived within 10 minutes. They offer laundry service which we used as well. Everything you need is right there! Highly recommend staying here. We definitely would do so again!

The food is made for you at the time you order it, it is very fresh. smoking is not allowed in the premises. The sauna, turco (vapor) and jacuzzi are power on at the time you require them. We had a great time that i will stay again.

The grounds are lush, quiet and border a flowing river. The spa is everything we could want, from wet & dry saunas to hydro massage loungers to hot tubs and cooling cascades. The staff is amazing, from check in, to meals, to spa services to check out! I wish we’d stayed longer.

- Jorge (10/5): Unique place with beautiful gardens and pool. - The resort is very nice with a great pool and access to the river. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. Anna took care of us at the restuarant and poolside. She was very friendly and caring about our needs. The food was very good, much better that we espected in such a small resort.

During our day trip, we enjoyed the pool activities, and a fantastic and tasty lunch, topped off with a massage that was out of this world. I love this place. I will be going back soon.

It was hard to believe we were really just off the street when surrounded by lush green trees with the babbling brook in the back. A great pool, good food, and phenomenal staff. I’m slightly mobility challenged, but they were always there to help me down the stairs! Massage was perfect after a visit to nearby Parque Tayrona! There were some issues with water pressure and temperature in the shower, but they worked to resolve that as soon as they were informed.
- trujillohomes (10/5): Amazing Hotel and Spa---highly recommend! - This was a hidden gem that became home for 3 days for our group! It was nice to basically have the place to ourselves--group of 8. Very attention centered to guests, friendly ambience and great vibes with pool splashes on seats in varying degrees. The doors close upon entrance so you feel like your on your own island where you can eat, lay down on the hammock, swim in the pool, eat or try the sauna/jacuzzi. Very impressed! Coincidentally, I got to meet the owner on one of the afternoons and was impressed by his laid back/calm demeanor with plans to grow. Oh the plus is a very quiet spacious room, the chef if you eat there checks up on how your meal was and lastly and they'll turn on the Jacuzzi's as needed. Only minor feedback which can improve, is having someone available if our group was in the pool awaiting drinks. We had to walk to the restaurant or to the front to request it but only a minor inconvenience. highly, highly recommend if you want to escape from reality temporarily and enjoy this hidden paradise!

It was really helpful that the restaurant was open al the time so we could eat when we wanted (delicious food) and the rooms were so comfortable and spacious! - johnn901 (10/5): A BEAUTIFUL 36 HOURS - Kantawa Eco Spa Hotel is synonymous with Gratitude, fulfillment, and happiness is certainly a true statement. This place is gorgeous. If you're looking for rest and rerelaxation pools, spas, Jacuzzis, horseback riding, messages, and last but not least the restaurant food is fantastic. There are other things here to enjoy that just takes it to another world. I would recommend coming over and over and over. There was a group of us, 15 people that went and I saw nothing but smiles for 36 hours. It's very beautiful and if you like nature, you will really enjoy this place. This is a place that you can't do in two days so you definitely would have to come back. The privacy is amazing and the employees here that cater to you are wonderful. Everything is on time and they're very professional. I had the opportunity to meet the owners and they’re doing a great job. Also, the amenities, such as the Turkish bath/steam room, are fantastic. The rooms are a bit dated and could use a fresh coat of paint.

- Lauren (10/5): You should book a holiday here! - So many good things. Delicious and affordable food. Comfortable clean rooms. Beautiful grounds with an amazing pool. The steam room was excellent! The best thing out of all, though, was the unbelievably good service! I got sick during our stay and the staff were so, so kind - helped me to find a pharmacy, organised taxis, offered breakfast in bed and special teas to help me feel better. Couldn’t have asked for more, thank you so much! Nothing! The only thing would be a slightly dated bedroom that needed a lick of paint, but not badly by any means.
- Kees (9/5): Lovely spa retreat, gorgeous tropical surrounding - best staff ever! - True retreat. Extensive spa facilities. The wet areas were very well kept. The food absolutely delicious. Dinner and breakfast were the best we had in that part of the country and very reasonably priced for the quality. Vanessa, member of the staff, was incredibly helpful and attentive. The same with the reception. Warm and efficient welcome. The proximity to the river is a very attractive feature. The rooms are a bit tired. However, you spend very little time there for it to become an issue. Maybe fix the bedside lamps. Also, found the massage prices a bit high compared to similar retreats in the area.

- Pieter (5/5): Sub par quality for too high price. - Beautiful area and swimming pool. Spacious room. The Venezuelan chef makes excellent dinners. I was offered a free horse ride through the hills. Staff in general kind but absolutely not customer oriented. Asking for towels or clean bed linnen had to repeated over and over again and still was never completed. Restaurant bill was charged twice, but no prompt refund organised by general manager. Many things are malfunctioning or are broken. Poor maintenance of room facilities and pool equipment and garden furniture. Location is far away from any store or city. Without transportation you are stuck on the premisses.
- Jeanette (10/5): Wellness hotel near Tayrona national park - The pool with hydromassage beds and showers, the sauna, massage and especially the jacuzzi was amazing! We loved being in the pool while seeing butterflies and birds flying around. The service of all the staff was excellent. A special thanks to Cesar, who went out of his way to arrange a driver to bring the bikini that I left in the hotel to our next destination -:) The rooms were basic, but the quality of the wellness services exceeded our expectations.

- Leora (9/5): Relaxing gorgeous visit in a jungle paradise. - Pretty and relaxing, great pool, good air conditioning, very very helpful and friendly staff, lovely location next to the river, visit with indigenous leader, all the birds singing in the morning. The fish pond was somewhat distressing, some of our sheets were stained.

Surrounded by nature, yet secluded and safe, the staff were so lovely and attentive, anything you need they will bring to you at any time. Food, drinks were amazing. A perfect provate retreat. So beautiful! Just minutes to Tayrona National Park which is a must-do! Towns not far either. A softer bed, but that's just my personal preference.

- Kimberly (10/5): Absolutly loved our stay, favorite accomindation in Colombia by far! - The grounds are absolutely breathtakingly beautiful! The staff went above and beyond, making us feel so comfortable and welcoming. The pool has so many different types of massage, which was needed after a long day of hiking the Tayrona loop. The hot tub does take an hour to heat up, but that was no problem at all for us. Just let them know if you plan on using it in the evening and they’re happy to turn it on for you! I think it’s great they’re not wasting power to heat up multiple hot tubs and use precious resources, when not in use. The food was delicious too! I can’t really say enough about Kantawa, I wish we spent our whole vacation here! Highly recommend!

- Sophie (8/5): a great place, centrally locating on a river, near Tayrona entrances, to unwind and or plan your next day trip in the re - beautiful well kept up property. a really big beautiful pool with water features and great temp. nice big rooms with firm big beds like I like. Friendly staff. they only had little bottles of water for the room so we had to keep filling our camping bottles (I’m just NOT buying hundreds of little plastic bottles!!). there should be either a free big bottle in the room, or a more accessible flow of filtered water than going to the dining room and asking for a fill up. it was often hard to find staff when needed and no phones or intercoms in rooms. I recommend they check in with clients while at central poolside location. they could have sold us more products and services that way too! but overall an amazing location/ property/ people!

Having access to filtered water in our room would have been good. Sometimes staff was hard to find when we needed something. - Sophie-anne (10/5): The 5star potential - Staff is excellent, truly trying to make your experience comfortable with the resources they have. The amenities were nice. This hotel has the potential to be a 5 star! Its grounds are beautiful but a little run down. Some minor fixes and maintenance, and this can truly be a top tiered hotel. A little structure in the processes in place would have been nice. The spa treatment was great but lacked coordination and proper planning for the turkish bath/sauna/jacuzzi. Also, a good deep clean is needed in rooms and jacuzzi. Shower in our room lacked hot water but was hot enough outside that it didn't bother us.
- Anonymous (8/5): Cozy, but super overpriced - We chose this hotel for one night, it is in the middle of two entrance to Tayrona. Calbazo nearby, and main entrance about 10minutes ride. This hotel reminds me a motel, but with big pool and jacuzzis. River sound lets you relax, very calm atmosphere, only 10 rooms in the hotel. Stuff very friendly. Hotel is old and looks abandoned, our room was full of mosquitos, and very noisy from fish reservoir and lizards. Very overpriced for that hotel condition.

We booked the room with the jacuzzi but then they told us it's not working and when we requested to use the external ones they initially pushed back but we insisted and they they found a way to manage.

The staff didn't have time to solve it, as we stayed only one night. We didn't ask for a rebate or any kind of compensation, but such suggestion from the staff would have been greatly appreciated

This hotel is close by to different small villages where you can do many activities such as hikes, tubing, horse back riding, and have the luxury of visiting different estuaries.
