• Adiarra (8/5): - Le personnel Omar et Hakima ont été très accueillants dès notre arrivée et nous ont tout de suite mis à l'aise. Ils ont été adorables avec notre petite de 20 mois et ont tissé de beaux liens tout au long de notre séjour. Nous étions venus pour 4 jours et sommes restés une nuit de plus. Ils ont été réactifs à toutes nos demandes et même plus. L'environnement est sain, le riad se trouve dans une rue calme. Il est important de noter qu'on est à Essaouira donc il y a de l'humidité qui peut être visible dans le Riad. Malgré le fait que j'aie des allergies, cela ne nous a pas gênés car il ne faisait pas froid. Nous prenions le petit déjeuner sur la terrasse tous les matins. Cela était fort agréable. Encore merci à Hakima, Mohamed, Fatiha et Omar pour leur professionnalisme. Rien

• Sergio (8/5): Un trato fantástico en Essaouira - El trato y la hospitalidad del personal del riad fue magnífica en todo momento, siendo muy atentos ante cualquier necesidad. El desayuno es una maravilla, muy rico! Y la localización cerca de una de las entradas a la medina es muy apropiada al llegar desde el aeropuerto. El riad es frío y pese a contar con un calefactor que funcionaba a medias, no logramos entrar en calor. En una época del año en la que las noches son frías aún, mejor contar con un aparato más apto para ello.

• Gloria (7/5): Essaouira per una notte - La struttura è in un ottima posizione, è facile e comodo spostarsi a piedi. Noi abbiamo alloggiato qui per una sola notte quindi non avevamo grandi pretese, ma la struttura si presenta pulita e confortevole. Bella la colazione su in terrazza Non c'è molta luce, gli ambienti sono scuri e privi dei classici colori suggestivi dei soliti riad in marocco, ma per una notte di passaggio direi che come qualità prezzo ci siamo!

Nous avons manger au Riad à deux reprises (tagine et couscous) et c’était juste délicieux!!!! Toute l’équipe était d’une gentillesse incroyable. Vraiment je recommande ce Riad pour une expérience incroyable, familiale et unique ! Nous y retournerons sans hésiter !
• Joel (6/5): Staff were very pleasant and helpful - The staff were very kind to upgrade our room for free based on the fact that we were on our honeymoon The ceilings were very low, the staircase and doorways were very narrow, so a caution for anyone who is slightly larger than average. Also the bathroom was not separate from the toilet, so uncomfortable to use toilet after showering because of wet floor.

• Syed (7/5): Great location, good for a short trip. - We had a good stay overall.. The location of the riad is great—right in the medina and just a short 5–10 minute walk to the markets and the beach. Hakima and the rest of the staff were super friendly and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was nice too. The only downside was some paint or dust falling from the ceiling. It did end up on the bed and even on us while sleeping, which was a bit annoying for us. I did mention it one of the staff on the first night and was told it’s normal. Rest was all fine in our experience.

• Arnold (8/5): Decent place to stay at a good price and pretty central inside the walls - Decent location - only about 5 mins walk from the car park just outside the walls. Our room was on the top floor just below the breakfast area and hence had a little bit of a view over the roof tops out to the sea. We booked the largest room I believe and it was large and spacious. Not really a complaint but more of an observation - It was a long climb up to our room especially when carrying luggage. This is to be expected in old Riads where this is no space to put an elevator. There seemed to be a miscommunication on b'fast as we had agreed to a certain time when checking in and there was no one around when we showed up for b'fast. It got sorted out but ended us being about half an hour getting on the road to our next destination

• Trev (9/5): A Warm Welcome - Had a lovely couple of nights staying at Dar Nor in late December. The hosts Omar, Ferdaous, and other staff members could not have been more hospitable or accommodating. Rooms are a good size, with comfortable beds and good showers. Breakfast was served downstairs communally and was more than adequate. There's a great roof terrace with views of Essaouira beach. Real fire downstairs in the courtyard was lit in the evenings and a very nice touch. Nothing.

• Judith (10/5): Best riad in Essaouira! - This riad is absolutely stunning! We stayed in a massive room and ended up adding more nights as we didn’t wanna leave! Great hot shower, massive fluffy towels! Comfortable beds with nice warm blankets. The owner speaks English fluently and we had some really nice chats with him! Location is amazing as well! You can see the beach from the room but you’re also in the heart of the medina! We arrived as strangers but left as friends! P.s. Firdaous, we’ll be back for some more dancing :) The only thing I can think of is maybe some savory (eggs, cream cheese) options for breakfast but that’s my personal preference.

The place is quiet and you need only a couple of minutes walking to reach to more busy area. It has a nice terrace to relax also, with a very nice view.

• Sydney (8/5): Comfortable Stay, Friendly Staff - Our reservation was with Riad Dar Nor; however, due to some renovations, the Riad relocated us to hotel Dar Zayna which was just around the corner. This review is for Dar Zayna. Check-in was extremely straightforward. Our contact from Riad Dar Nor was here to meet us and facilitate the move. They allowed us to check in early which was very helpful. The rooms are clean and spacious. The bed is large and comfortable. The location is very central - a 6 minute walk from the bus station and <5min from the Medina. The staff are warm and welcoming.

The host also explained some activities that you can do in Essaouira and gave some tips for restaurants and stuff which was very kind. Quick to respond to emails and requests - our early checkin was very much appreciated. The welcome and hospitality was first class and the main reason we booked a return visit. Our room was perfect - nice big bed and great shower. Well worth paying a bit extra for an upgrade. Highly recommend. Nothing to dislike

It looked exactly like the photos, was clean and very nicely decorated, with a minimalist vibe. They had several different sized rooms that accommodated our group of 9 nicely. The breakfast was great; we ate on the rooftop terrace and enjoyed the sea views. It is located right in the medina, we found public parking easily, and it was a short walk from there. The service was also exceptional; the hosts were very helpful with any requests. Highly recommend Riad Dar Nor!
