The staff even gave me complimentary toothpaste when I couldn't find mine. Nothing. Everything was perfect.

• TB-27529 (8/5): Good one night stay - I'd give this place a solid 4 to 4.5 stars. We came here for a Varsity cheer event at the convention center (18 minutes away), but didn't want to spend convention center prices. Check in lady Saturday night was friendly and check in was quick. We were on the second floor. No noise issues or anything. Very clean room, lobby, and indoor pool area. Room wasn't cramped. You have good space in the bathroom. Breakfast was the normal, good spread. I had oatmeal, eggs, and sausage. Coffee bar was nice! Would recommend and would stay at again.

• Tiara (6/5): Overall the location is convenient to shops, the beds were comfortable enough and there was fresh brew coffee - The breakfast was a plus and the morning staff was amazingly helpful We stayed a total of 3 nights and had no housekeeping had to beg for towels and upon check in the front desk was not personable nor was the employer welcoming. • Jenkins (10/5): My stay was amazing, I was visiting North Carolina to bury my brother - I loved your breakfast , the ambience of the hotel, cleanliness, I will say when your staff is cleaning g have them wear hair nets. It was hair in our shower at check -in Staff is very nice, and helpful The only one thing I was upset about at first was my check in where my card was charged 3 times more than it should have . When I was telling the hostess at the counter it was being charged and she was telling me it wasn’t on her side. So I had to wait to receive over 100 plus back to my card. Not a biggie on the money but next time listen to the guest when they are showing them from my phone on my account where my card was being charged. She said she would reverse it and she did but I wouldn’t want that happening again.

• Theresa (1/5): Not the best experience. - Location was perfect. When I arrived at 1:30 I greeted the receptionist a the first thing she said was we don’t have anything available right now. So my question was well when, then she asked for my name and proceeded to say room was not ready so I asked when she said maybe around 3pm. Came back after 4pm that receptionist was not professional and did an excellent job with check in. Throughout the night we heard a clicking noise coming through the walls, when the a/c unit finally cut on it was extremely loud to try and sleep through it. Then when it was time to check out the first receptionist when we first arrived didn’t greet us or even ask how our stay was she just had a container on the table next to her with a sign saying check out keys. I put the keys in the container and told her to have a nice day and there was no response. So overall customer service was definitely lacking at this location and lack of professionalism. A let me be clear the young lady who actually checked us it when we came back after 4pm was very helpful and had gave great customer service. Overall it just wasn’t the best experience for the price that I paid. Glad that we only stayed for one night.

• Brenda (9/5): Convenient to UNC Charlotte - Breakfast was pretty good, with a decent amount of variety. The location was convenient to UNC Charlotte, which was why we were visiting. My son enjoyed the pool. The shower curtain in the bathroom was too short and leaked water on the floor even if was carefully placed. Also, I thought I had booked a King room with a sleeper sofa but ended up with two queens and a sofa sleeper with no sheets, so my son slept in one bed and my husband and I slept in the other bed. We're used to a king so it wasn't the most comfortable sleeping ever! Hard to know after the fact what I actually booked though since Booking.com called it a Double Suite (What does that mean?).

• Chydera (1/5): - The location of the property was great, close to lots of shopping locations. THE STAFF and the breakfast! I booked my hotel two weeks before arriving in NC. When I arrived, my reservation was not found. I waited 2 hours before Mary figured out a solution to the problem. The crazy part is she stated she would cancel a room for us to stay after telling multiple people they were "SOLD OUT". After being able to get a room, the other worker (unaware of her name) stated, "Calm down, you'll be able to go to the concert." I looked at her, confused because I NEVER stated I was in NC for a concert. I feel like both employees knew our reservation was in the system and wanted to charge the hotel pricing instead of booking pricing, and cancelled our room to re-book under the hotel for more money. I ended up paying a little over $300 for one night when the original booking price was $217.

• Lacosta (1/5): Cars broken into! - It was clean. When we got to our vehicle the next morning, to leave, our window had been busted out. A few small things were stolen and the vehicle was a mess from them going through our belongings. There were 3 other vehicles in the parking lot that had the same thing done to them. When the cops came they said this was very common in the area and happens at this hotel often. They said the cameras inside don’t even cover the entire parking lot so it makes it hard for them to see the person(s) doing this. The hotel staff gave no warning so we could’ve brought stuff inside and parked as close as possible. And Holiday Inn has made zero efforts to try and stop this by putting in better cameras or perhaps hiring someone to walk the parking lot every so often. I would not stay here or any other hotel in close proximity as the officers said it’s happening at a few others close by.

• nyckiej2025 (2/5): Future CRACK SHACK - This is a well dressed Ghetto bed bug hood shack. It’s sad how something so new can be turned into hotel hell hole. Be careful when they claim it’s no rooms left but all of a sudden find a room for an ILLEGAL UPCHARGE. Yes the ghetto night crackish desk chick will get you if you let her then lie about charging you saying it was a tip or claim an upgrade you never got. The environment says the beginning of the homeless hotel type ray-ray community is on the way. Shame you can’t see what they got going on before you check in. Just stay away especially if you have kids or class about yourself. The staircase is a weed/crack alley.

• B (5/5): It was okay. Chris was great. - Chris, who worked the front desk overnight, was amazing. Very friendly and made us feel welcome! Nice room, large bathroom and shower. Whoever worked the counter when we arrived for check-in around 5:30 was the complete opposite of Chris. She did not greet us aside from a very cold "can I help you" ... never smiled, and almost seemed as though it was a bother to do her job. There was also a very strong smell of Marijuana everywhere.
