Melissa (2/5): Awful pool and front desk worker - The room was decent. But you could tell they cut corners. For example, the drain in the sink did not work. The pool smelled of illegal drugs. When I asked the lady at the front desk about this, she said it was a construction smell. This was clearly not the case. It was also freezing cold. I booked this hotel FOR the pool and having 4 kids that would enjoy it. We were not able to swim that evening or the next morning. It still smelled horrible and the pool was still cold the next day. The lady at the front desk was one of the rudest hotel employees I’ve ever been around. You could tell she did not want any confrontation about the swimming pool not working. Thus she decided to retaliate on me. When my kids were playing in the hotel room the following morning, my 2 year old accidentally pushed the emergency button on the phone. Instead of stopping at my room and asking If there truly was an issue, she called the local police department. About 10 minutes later, a police officer arrived at our hotel door, and I explained to him that it was an accident.

The breakfast was well done with quality healthy ingredients and the staff was very friendly and attentive. The fire department never showed up and we were finally able to go back to our room. We stayed tonight's and our room wasn't cleaned. They took the trash out of one trash can but not the other and they didn't replace the trash can liner. They left towels on the dirty counter instead of hanging them up on the towel rack. The bed was left unmade. The floor hadn't been vacuumed.

Palmer (9/5): Overall, a pleasant place to stay! - Front desk was exceptional, she was very kind, helpful and knowledgeable. Breakfast was a decent selection and great coffee. We used the pool, it was clean, towels available and had a lot of fun. Fire alarm did randomly go off around 9pm, but the issue was resolved and we were able to go back in, in a timely manner. A few cosmetic things, but nothing that would stop me from staying again.

Sarah (8/5): Loved the hotel, didn't like the frequent demands for feedback - We liked everything about the hotel itself. An ideal stop on the way up to Mount Rushmore from Denver. Nice comfy rooms, plenty of everything, and my daughter enjoyed the pool. Six emails during the course of my 10-day holiday demanding that I leave feedback was excessive, including one titled "One more chance to tell us what you think". This was aggressive and rude. I don't think it's unreasonable to enjoy my holiday and leave feedback when I get home.

Frank (10/5): - Most comfortable beds. Ever. They had a free buffet of finger foods and beer and beautiful lightening storm.
Suzenne (10/5): - Able to park the car, check in and then walk over to Runza.
Ed (10/5): My stay was comfortable and excellent. - Very good breakfast with lots of variety. Everything was fresh except that the muffins were more like cake without frosting and were pre-made somewhere else. They had a pancake maker that I had never seen before so that was cool. There was nothing that I did not like.
