K7277VCpatrickh (4/5): No Soundproofing at All - The hotel is new and is right off the highway. The room was clean and the staff were all very friendly. Unfortunately despite being new the beds were already worn out and sagging. The reason for the low rating is the lack of any type of soundproofing. You will hear every footstep in the room above you and can hear the conversations in the neighboring rooms. There is no external soundproofing either. You will hear conversations of people in their way in and out of the hotel. Around 3 am the night of my stay the fire alarm in the building caddy corner across the street began going off and went on fire about an hour. While this is not something the hotel can control, you should not hear it in your room so loudly as to wake you up. Unfortunately this hotel was built cheaply and it shows. I am not even a light sleeper but will likely avoid this hotel and recently built HIE properties in the future because of this experience.

We did have trouble checking in but it was 3:00 am. No one was at the desk, but we were able to call and someone came to unlock the door. She was very nice and helpful.

Breakfast is a Plus and pretty good. - Room was clean and good location, staff was very friendly, and breakfast was pretty good and food area is kept very clean and organized. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel is walking distance to the McDonald's, Subway Sandwich shop and Gas Station, truly an asset. Grounds and Pool area very nicely kept. It would have been better if cleaning crew had stopped by and tried to tidy up my room before my wife had returned back to the room. She actually went to ask the housekeeper for more clean face clothes and towels for the room. We thought the cleaning lady would have stopped by to clean the room, since she saw my wife and I leave out, but when my wife returned back in about 3 hours or so, she had already bypassed our room and had not gone in to clean, so my wife went down to her and asked for more clean towels and face cloths and retuned the used ones to her for disposal, but I'm not sure of the Hotels House Keeping Policy, since the pandemic???

Alice (2/5): - the breakfast was good. The room we booked was 2 queen beds but they called us at 1:30 on 8/30 and said they overbooked the rooms and it was not available. They suggested a one king bed room which was not good because it was myself and my adult son and we needed 2 separate beds. After much debate ended up with a king bed and a queen size sofa sleeper-which was not very comfortable. Got to room and there were dirty smear marks in bathroom all over floor, sticky spots on coffee table and worst of all I pulled back the blanket on the king bed and the sheets were dirty, stained and had hair all over - so obviously they never changed them.

Breakfast is always good, the staff is very friendly, the rooms are clean and smell good. The manager is very kind, she is always smiling and keeps the hotel straight, no nonsense going on, I felt safe and secure. Will definitely come back again.

Be mindful if you’re a light sleeper because there is a truck stop across the street and vehicles could be heard coming and going. Lastly’ was told that breakfast ended at 10:00 but when I went to get breakfast at 9:30, most of the food was gone and was told by the staff that they do not replenish after 9:30. Went down at 9 the next morning and breakfast had a large selection to choose from. Staff should not indicate that breakfast is through 10 am but it’s over earlier.

Megan (8/5): - Everything was great except for the inroom keurig needed cleaned. It was full of mold.
Rancho (10/5): Pleasant staff, right on 85, and clean, well-lighted room - Breakfast adequate, but could have been bette. We "didn't like" anythingl.
william (10/5): Cleanliness is not out of fashion. - It was a great property, clean and efficient. This is a great contrast to the previous hotel I'd stayed in, located in Wake Forest, NC.
Karen (7/5): Good - Someone across the hall from our room was fighting very late at night. Very disturbing.
Angelina (10/5): Kids loved the indoor pool - Indoor pool goes up to 4.5 feet and open until 10pm which was great for the kids. Breakfast was yummy! The kids loves the pancake machine.
