- Payton (6/5): - It’s great for a party place, but many things in the room were broken or damaged. (towel bar hanging off, door lock came off in my hand, toilet roll holder, etc.) All are easy fixes and should have been repaired before hand.
- Jennifer (6/5): - The staff were amazingly helpful and the room was ok. The issue was that I went for work and I got practically no sleep. The staff moved me to a different room which helped a bit. If you are there to party it’s perfect but if you need sleep then avoid this hotel.

- Paul (8/5): Heart of the City - Spacious Hotel Room, right in the centre of Liverpool's nightlife. Loads of bars and restaurants on doorstep, so obviously a noisy neighbourhood, but fine for us

- Kevin (2/5): Poor service! - We were unable to stay in Liverpool on the Sunday night due to not being able to get into our accommodation on the Saturday evening. So it ruined our weekend and had to travel home.
- Jonathan (8/5): Good value stay in lively central location - Very large and generally well-equipped themed room with three double beds. The front desk staff were always friendly and helpful. The hotel location is very central in a lively part of the city and there is a large choice of places to eat and drink close by. One or two areas in the room and around the hotel were showing some wear and tear. There was almost no noise inside the hotel but as it is surrounded by clubs and bars noise from outside is inevitable. Overall good value.

- Paul (2/5): - Booked specifically for the hot tub in the room but it was out of service due to being too hot with no temperature dial and a faulty plug. Plugs were dangerously attached the the wall, the kettle was faulty and boiling all night, the drinks station was dirty and when I complained, I've been ignored. It's now 10 days later and I've not heard from management. Music was blasting from the club below until at least 4am. Receptionist Charlotte was extremely helpful but unfortunately was unable to offer any help other than an apology. I'm still attempting to speak to a manager to discuss some kind of compensation. A disappointing stay in what should have been a fantastic hotel

The shower was cold and took a long time to heat up and the water didn’t flow away easily meaning the bathroom remained very wet and there was a lot of mould around the toilet. The noise coming from the club was also extreme and kept us awake. The staff were great and really helpful and the heating in the room was a good addition.

- J A (4/5): Fur coat & no knickers - Whilst our stay was comfortable we were extremely disappointed to be woken by water pouring through the shower head into our bath from the room above. The large damp stain on the ceiling would suggest this isnt a new issue! We also paid a premiun rate for a jacuzzi bath that we were unable to use as the plug didnt fit & couldn't keep more than an inch of water in the bath. The floor of the bathroom also looked like it was half finished. No tea or coffee were provided although reception did arrive with what looked like their personal supply when prompted. Overall, wouldnt recommend & even the quirkyness of the themed rooms (Sound of Music) would be surpassed by a travel lodge!
- Verified traveler (6/5): Quirky hotel, not great service but well located - Check in was slow, only one member of reception staff on at peak time, then was told a security deposit of £50 per person was required which was only payable with a chip and pin card. I only had apple pay so had to wait for my friend to arrive until this could be done as I was told I wasn't allowed access to the room until this deposit was paid - so had to wait downstairs for an hour. Thought this was a bit poor. Apparently it's in the small print. Room itself was a bit run-down, well themed, but not very well appointed. Location was great though, right in the centre and just a few mins walk from all the bars, restaurants and docks etc.

- Hannah (2/5): Awful - Hotel itself was ok, rooms were good and looked good on the surface. However trying to sleep at night was like you were inside a nightclub. The music is blasting from EVERYWHERE and the whole room vibrates. It was hideous. We went to reception to ask what was going on to be told to ‘get some earplugs’. Wow, helpful. We then refused to stay so at 2am checked out and got an Uber home. Whilst trying to check out and leave the hotel, a man in reception thought it was acceptable to hurl insults at my friend. We then asked for the mangers email and was told there was nothing they could do. The gentleman insulting us did not work there but was friends with the reception staff. AMAZING. Nowhere on the hotels website does it state that when staying your are physically inside a nightclub and you will not sleep. Will not be returning especially after the attitude of staff.

- Francessca (4/5): - We arrived at the hotel after a long travel to be greeted by a very friendly lady at the reception who took us through check in, she gave us our room key and up went went however there was an awful hissing sound in the room and the room smelt unclean like damp and foist so we immediately went downstairs to speak to the lady. She went in the room and agreed this room shouldn’t have been sold, this was room 303. She swiftly then changed us rooms to 306 which was massive however was opposite the bars which was fine we understood the location however the window was open so we thought let’s shut it to avoid some sound. However, the window was broken and there was no way to shut it, down again to reception where we asked the lady to help us with the window. She came up and realised it was broken and said it needed to be reported and we had to move rooms again. We were then moved into room 302 but by this time we were both fed up at the lack of communication of which rooms were actually suitable to be sold and we just wanted to get in the room and relax. We ran the jetted bath. Got in and lots of black mould filled the bath tub from the jet so by this point we were so annoyed so we decided to leave the hotel and go out as we were fed up. The nights sleep wasn’t the best as the night club downstairs was a lot noisier than we thought and we didn’t realise it was open until 5am!! The next morning I took a shower, washed my hair for the hair dryer to then be broke!! Couldn’t write it.

- Allison (2/5): Very rude management!!!!!!! - The key card to let us in the room did not work, we had no electricity in the room, when we returned and had to contact staff at 1.30 in the morning to resolve the issues. The manager was extremely rude to my husband and was laughing at him and shouting insults at him when he asked for a refund as we would not be staying. The hotel is very noisy and has a nightclub on the ground level that is open till 5am. It is surrounded by night clubs and the noise is awful. We did not stay and I have contacted the hotel for a refund but after sampling the manger’s attitude last night I am not hopeful this will happen.
- Robert (10/5): Quirky hotel - Warm welcome on arrival. Please note they do ask for photo ID it's not something that's listed on this site. Huge room and lovely jetted bath. Only downside we were in a room above a club opposite the hotel and the music was on till very late. Location is perfect for those heading for a late night on the town. So many pubs and bars close by

- Lucy (6/5): Goods and bads but generally ok - The bath was broken which is one of the hotels USP's as all rooms feature a type of bath so was very disappointed on this. In room sound system was also broken and there was damage to a number of tiles in the bathroom which could be a hazard. Step in the bathroom not signed and caught foot. Rooms not soundproofed at all and can hear outside along with other occupants on other floors. Beds are however very comfortable and the room was clean. Staff were knowledgeable of the area and requested our feedback via form for management. For a conveniently located stay, would recommend but for facility use or an undisturbed night go elsewhere.

- Chelsea (4/5): Wouldn’t bother staying, find an alternative - I have attached photos of the room we stayed in. I have provided a detailed list of the issues we encountered in the room. I do also have videos which I can send on social media as I am unable to send via email. The broken tap on the sink, stains on the bathroom floor, lack of a plug for the jacuzzi bath (which was advertised as a feature), leaking kitchen sink, warped floorboards, and a bathroom door that didn't lock are all significant concerns that greatly impacted our stay. These issues not only compromised the comfort and functionality of the room but also affected the overall experience we had as guests. We would expect a certain standard of accommodation, especially when booking a room for a group of six guests and two of our guests left after night one as they were so unhappy with the room therefore making the stay for the hen party a disaster. It's important for hotels to ensure that their rooms are well-maintained and meet the expectations of their guests. The fact that the receptionist did not provide a warm welcome and seemed unhelpful throughout our interaction is truly disappointing. We were frustrated with the delay in getting our room ready, especially when we had specifically requested an early check-in to accommodate your brunch booking. Which we rang the hotel at approx. 10.30 to kindly ask an early check in and I did also ring approx. 3 months prior to ask if this is possible, you have multiple rooms for 6 and I’m unsure why this wasn’t able to be accom

- isabelle (10/5): Amazing - The hotel is amazing! The themed rooms are so creative and the facilities are immaculate. Slap bang in the centre of town, couldn’t be better. Kimberly on reception was so helpful and went above and beyond for us. <3 Will be staying here again.

- Victoira (6/5): It was fine for one night - I stayed here for one night for a business trip - I don't think I'm the target audience for this hotel! But it was fine for one night. I arrived after dark - it wasn't easy to find the right entrance, though the reception member of staff was having a cigarette outside and asked me if I was looking for the hotel which was helpful. The room had 4 beds in it! The one I chose to sleep in was very comfortable. The shower area of the bathroom reminded me of a hospital ward shower. It was set out like a wet room, although so close to the toilet that it was impossible not to soak that too - didn't feel too hygienic. There was a kitchen sink and a large fridge too, so you could store your own drinks easily. It would be a good choice for a hen or stag do, though the shower situation might not be to everyone's taste. It was pretty noisy outside - but you have to expect that from the location!

- Gemma (2/5): Worse night ever - So on arrival we was given a room for 6 people when we booked for a couple. The room was shabby looking and we had a vent above the bed which was very loud. The bathroom was clean however the taps where all lose on the sink and huge crack in the sink. We went out for a few hours then came back to the hotel. Once in a deep sleep the fire alarm went off, completely shook us up. We got dressed and went downstairs. The staff where trying to sort this issue the best the could however couldn't solve this issue for a good hour. my partner has a heart condition and these noises really didn't help at all. we managed to get back off to sleep around 1.10am. At about 4am the room opposite was like a chemical cupboard and the loud noises it made woke us up! Safe to say we was agitated and couldn't settle back to sleep. Worse night sleep in a hotel, and the price was expensive. On checking out we told the receptionist these issues she apologised regarding the alarm, however no compensation back no nothing. we are really tired today and we certainly would not be returning.
- Gwenfair (10/5): - If you are after a good night out this place is perfect. Not recommended if you are after a quiet time, night life fantastic, everyone so friendly, felt safe and looked after. Staff amazing. Faye on reception/manager is the best. Couldn't ask for better.

Could do with better soundproofing Will teach us to research area before booking a hotel again I think it was Kimberley who checked us in she could not be more friendly or helpful an asset to the hotel.

- Lauren (10/5): - It was absolutely amazing! My only criticism is the lighting in our room (Rocky Horror) was really dark, not great when trying to do make up! But otherwise I couldn’t have asked for more!
- Sophie (4/5): - It was loud location (not a huge problem given its a hotel for groups nd next to pubs but not ideal) our bathroom ceiling was leaking from the room above, told reception & nobody came to check our room, on check out was told person above was in the shower too long, have requested refund in the basis we were unable to have a bath or shower in the morning due to the leak & crack in ceiling
- Amanda (10/5): Stunning - Staff were so accommodating, room Was breath taking/ little noisy but to be expected in the city centre- I would not be moaning about it if I was on a night out out! Definitely planning our next stay here soon- will be out out next time ☺️

- Laura (4/5): Sleeping impossible - Lovely hotel with imaginative decor and huge rooms. No noise from residents or along corridors in hotel. Bathroom was good but needed a bath mat and a shower curtain to stop water splashing from shower and making floor soaking and slippy. A 6 bedded room for a couple was more than we required but I think great for a hen night etc. The issue we had was huge though as we do like to sleep. The bed was spacious and comfy although the duvet a little thin but sleeping is virtually impossible because the noise from the bars and clubs below was so loud and the bass booming so much it actually made the floor vibrate. Given they shut at 6am you can imagine how awful this was. Would I stay here again. Absolutely not.
- Julie (8/5): Nice, quirky hotel! - Nice, quirky hotel in party town so if you aren’t after loud music and lots of people then this isn’t the place for you! Staff were lovely and the room was good, lots of space despite 5 of us sharing.
- Kirstie (6/5): Budget hotel - Hotel staff are lovely. Hotel itself not so lovely. Rooms were really run down, bathroom was smelly and shower literally sprinkled and soaked the whole room along with toilet which is near enough under the shower head. Very central to concert square so if you want a quiet night avoid although it didn’t bother us as we arnt light sleepers. Did it do its job? yes. Would I stay again? I don’t think so

- victoria (8/5): - This hotel was great, so easy to book, when we got there the service we received from Kimberley was amazing, rooms are themed so really fun, smack bang in the middle of great nightlife.. little noisy at night but you should know what you are booking, will definitely stay again.
- Michelle (8/5): - We went on a girls weekend away & chose this hotel as we could all stay in the same room & have a bed each. The rooms are lovely, it had everything we needed in a great location. The ladies on reception were lovely & helpful & I would definitely recommend a visit to their nightclub Alma de Cuba we had a great night! The only thing I’d mention is it’s in a nightlife location & the first night we were woken up by the music outside from the clubs until the early hours, so the second night we stayed out later & joined them 😂

- Peter (4/5): - The room I had was spacious but overlooked the street which had clubs and crowds making sleep impossible. A property nearby played music until 4am. I’m exhausted!!! Furthermore, the air conditioning was noisy and I couldn’t switch it off!
- Warren (8/5): - The rooms were clean and spacious. Very comfortable bed and good utilities. Greatly located if you are there for nightlife, everything you could need is within walking distance.
