• Shirley (9/5): Beautifully decorated and cosy cottage - Old Post Cottage is a beautifully presented cosy property very close to the village shop and inn. Parking off road was easy to find and many times we could park right outside the property. The wifi was great and the kitchen and rest of the cottage was equipped with everything we needed for our stay. My daughter loved the bunk bed in her room. Have to call out the hot water which was excellent. The night of our arrival the owner brought over home made cinnamon buns, really appreciated and delicious. There was also a welcome basket containing eggs, teas, coffees and cereal which we loved. All in all we really enjoyed our stay at the cottage and would recommend it highly. Nothing, it was lovely.

Locals very friendly.Parking a couple of times was difficult but that was dependant on time of day. So busy if local pub open or mother's collecting children from school. • Kay (8/5): A good base for visiting family locally; but the issues described below have affected our rating. - The location was excellent and the property was cosy and comfortable. Pub with excellent food 30 seconds walk away and a café 3 doors down which was perfect for morning coffees. The very low water pressure made having a shower a chore rather than a pleasure and the TV signal was so poor it made watching anything impossible. We tried iPlayer etc, but it still lost signal.

Great location for exploring thus corner of Kent. Difficult to find in the darkness. Sat nav took some bizarre options. Parking outside is tight as its on a road shared by the local primary school.

• Tammy (9/5): Great location and very comfortable cottage. Lovely touch of home made focaccia bread. - This is in a great location with a pub over the road and a cafe 3 doors down. For us it allowed us to be central to everything we wanted to do. Very comfortable and smelled amazing. We didn’t get details on how to access the property so had to ring the owner. We’d stayed before so I had a number. It would have been difficult if it was our first stay. Owner was very helpful though and it was easily sorted.

• Victoria (10/5): Perfect for getting away to relax and unwind with stunning dog walks - The location was beautiful with stunning walks on your doorstep. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch and really helpful for breakfast the morning after we arrived. The cottage itself is very comfortable and cosy - a perfect home from home. Monique was on hand when we needed a hand with something and nothing was too much trouble for her - a perfect host. The village cafe at the end of the row is worth a visit with tasty coffee and delicious scones. Would definitely return and hope to do so again soon. I can’t think of anything we didn’t like.

A known location for us - and close to where we were visiting. Master bedroom bed was a little too hard (personal opinion). Stair and bathroom hall lights were not working. Both really minor issues. Parking seemed to be a bit of a challenge at times - on reflection we should’ve parked at the rear of the property.

We had easy access to Faversham and Sittingbourne and there were many footpaths available for walks with our dogs. The cottage had everything we needed. The bed was so comfortable and all the rooms were tastefully furnished. Everywhere was so clean and tidy. We would thoroughly recommend it.

• Matthew (10/5): Beautiful cottage - Beautiful cottage in a fantastic, friendly village. It had everything we needed and was located close enough to the places we wanted to visit. Good local walks and a really nice pub over the road. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if we are in the area.

• Sarah (9/5): cosy, warm, stylish cottage, comfortable beds, helpful owners. - the house was warm, welcoming, nicely decorated and styles and convenient. The beds were very comfortable and there was a generous pack of food, tea, coffee, cereal and milk and apple juice in the fridge. The whole booking and moving in process was easy and simple and communications with the owners was efficient and helpful. The only issue we had was that the photos on the website had lead us to believe the house had two double bedrooms as opposed to one double and a single room with bunk beds. the problem has arisen because the owner has two cottages next door to one another and they are advertised together. Luckily one of the adults in our party , our son in law, had flu and could not make it. In the end our daughter and her two young children moved out somewhere else, which was a shame. I would recommend a bit more clarity about the bedroom set up of each cottage on the website and that there are two next door to each other. Thank you.
• Adie (10/5): Return to Rodmersham - A beautiful little terraced cottage right on the village green. Although it is well appointed with everything you may need, there really is no need to cook, as there is a great village cafe at the end of the terrace and also only 1 minutes walk from a lovely pub that serves great food.
• Julie (10/5): Great village location for walking and cycling. - Lovely sun filled cosy cottage surrounded by fabulous walking and cycling routes. All the benefits of friendly village with access to town facilities 10 minutes drive away. House very well equipped for cooking etc and lovely new bathroom. Hired Monique’s bike which had great gearing for the hills so could explore the surrounding villages and cafes via the stunning country lanes. Take spare shoes for the garden as lots of sticky berries on the ground.
