Guest Reviews
- Oksana (4/5): - The property is very old and poor maintained specially bathrooms. The internet doesn’t work at room. Outdoor pool was closed. Breakfast was ok. Staff is very friendly.
- Simon (2/5): - Service was terrible. Food was completely unacceptable. Cleanings was horrible. They have to do a lot of work in this hotel in order to get out of out of the country tourist most hotels in israel are amazing. The view and location is beautiful just the wrong people managing this hotel. My opinion have to do complete overall.
- Samuel (8/5): Good hotel and very good value for money. - Lovely hotel with a great breakfast. Very good value for money, hotel was very clean. The bed was very comfortable, some of the furniture in the bedroom looked tired, scratched, etc. The bathroom was spacious, very large shower but no bath. A drawback is that there is no outdoor seating area until the outdoor pool opens in July. There is an indoor pool but we didn't visit it.
- Nir (10/5): - Amazing sea view
- Yoav (6/5): - It is a nice hotel. However, there is no parking to unload the luggage.
The is not clean. It reminds me a cheap motel in Mexico.
- Jacek artur (8/5): - Breakfast ist great,
Cleanes of room is for Israel Standart good
Rooms are nice big and very good bed
- Gary (6/5): Stay for a Family Wedding - My family occupied a total of six (6) rooms so we all could attend my eldest daughter's wedding at ECO Events. I have had better experiences.
Bathing - several of the rooms had clogged drains that had to be cleared.
Parking - plenty of it, but is was a walk from the hotel entrance.
WiFi - very poor in my room 1001. I asked several times about it but was always put off by the team".
Pool - the outside pool closed at 18:00. This is the SUMMER!
Now, on the flip side...
Breakfast - great, as I usually find in Israeli hotels.
Room cleanliness - very good.
Staff at the desk - also great.
Security - again, great.
This is the only hotel that I know of in Hadera. I am ambivalent about staying there again.
- David (10/5): - Nice hotel to go despite the factbthat there is nothing around
- Eli (2/5): - Dirty, broken bathrooms in our 2 sweets, no towels available, no room cleaning, no ironing in room, no phone chargers available, horrible customer service and absolutely no care!
Avoid this place at any cost!
- Angelo (8/5): - Very nice place to stay would stay there again
- Yosef (8/5): Nice hotel - Nice hotel in hadera, the furniture too old, the breakfast disappointed .
- Joseph (8/5): - Amizing
- Chaim (6/5): - This hotel is very old and smell in the room.
This is a 70 style rooms without any comfortable bed
- Hanoch (4/5): Dirty room/sheets - The room was very dirty
- meir (10/5): - Great service, soundproof rooms, beautiful sea views. highly recommended!
- Richard (2/5): Beware!!!! - Lovely view of the Mediterranean. Other than that - STAY AWAY!!!! Not only is the place occasionally uninhabitable, but management is comprised of incompetent liars! As an example, for our six night stay in two rooms, we had no hot water for several days and NO WATER at all for a day. On the day we had no water, management informed us that it was a municipal issue, not a hotel issue. Lie no. 1 - I have family members that live down the street from the hotel. They had water. Lie no. 2 - after expressing our concerns over the water and several other issues (e.g., no heat at all at times, inability to regulate temperatures in the room generally, bathroom flooding and no garbage cans in one of the rooms at all for the entire stay), management said they would refund us for a large portion of our stay; but that we needed to do so through Hotels.com since that was how we booked. Well, we did so (hotels.com was pleasant and helpful through the process), but just heard today that the hotel denied the refund request.
While this isn't the end of my battle with management of the hotel (i am now working directly through corporate customer service), I wanted to make sure that other potential customers could take into consideration my family's experience when evaluating whether to book this hotel.
- DD (4/5): - Entire hotel did not have hot water for first day of stay. Then one of our rooms had a major leak from balcony doors during a driving rain storm. The General Manager did the right thing in settling the bill, but didn’t change the fact that the facility itself seems faulty
- Mike (10/5): - Excellent View! The room was clean and updated, the hotel was in the middle of updating. Great waterfront location with shopping about a mile away. Nice waterfront restaurant where the Mediterranean breeze passes through the open walkways with great views. Staff was very helpful and accommodating, they made extra efforts to provide the best room available and to make my stay enjoyable :)
- Robert (10/5): The Bedt Secret in Israel. A must - Ramada hotel in Hadera , Israel is fabulous. The room is modern and technically equipped. It was very clean. The view was amazing. The breakfast was fantastic. The kind of coffee machine Jura that I have at home. Fabulous. The staff very helpful and friendly. I would give this hotel five stars. And a must when visiting Israel.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The hotel has amazing views of the sea from every room
- Toader Ciprian (8/5): - Ok
- Verified traveler (2/5): - How could a newer hotel be such a dump?
The bathroom was filthy. I’m talking bio hazard dirty.
Moldy grout. Hair. Disgusting.
No hot water for two days.
Double booked my room, the told me I had to leave early.
- B. (6/5): - The property needs restoration and renovation. It is not in a good state now.
- Fer (2/5): - They didn t clean the room
Pillows had blood at arrival
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Great location, right on the beach and very quiet.
Needs serious renovation throughout the hotel. Apparently currently working on the 5th floor; plenty of work to be done
- Verified traveler (8/5): GREAT VIEW mediocre service - The view is amazing! The rooms were clean. They were attentive to service when it came to incidentals or an emergency cleaning of a broken glass bottle. They did not respond immediately for technical problems. Two days in a row I needed help with the TV. The 1st technician made us wait 1 and half hours before coming to the room. The problem really wasn't fixed but we got by. The 2nd technician took an hour and a half to show up and did manage to adequately fix the tv. Lastly on our last day we could not get the AC to turn on. We called for help at 1030am, no one came. We checked out early at 8pm we left the balcony door open to get air even though it was not that breezy.
- Marie (6/5): Beautiful view - Splendid view of the ocean, beautiful suit, however it needs to be cleaned, housekeeping only makes the beds and puts clean towels, they don’t disk or clean the floors. The staff needs to be trained in customer service and smile very rude staff
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Didn’t like the children gymboree it wasn’t safe..
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Magnificent views beautiful beach . Loved this place.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Loved everything about trip... staff was friendly, rooms are modern, big and clean... beautiful pool and beach... perfect getaway for a family
- Verified traveler (10/5): - If you are looking for an oceanfront beach hotel in Israel, look no longer. The Ramada at Hadera is a great place to relax, enjoy the food and beach. Two wonderful days, but we will be back for more.
- Customer (6/5): - One of the marketing highlights of the hotel amenities included free buffet breakfast. However, upon check in was surprised that it is not true. When you click to book room, theres no options as to pick a room with or without breakfast. Right above with the description of hotel it says in bold letters. "Includes free wifi, free parking and free buffer breakfast. " The itinerary omitted anything about it. Upon contacting orbitz, they got a hold of the hotel and said that in fact i have to pay for it. Thats plus $33 per person, there was 3 of us. False advertising, felt like i was cheated out of a good deal. Even with showing them screenshots that google search and their hotel site clearly says so...didnt get me anywheres. Spoke to a orbitz supervisor after a period of time, got offered a coupon for next Orbitz booking. Still yet to receive it. Not one to write negative review...but it did upset me.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Rented two rooms for the night. Several people got food poisoning during our stay. Shower in one of the rooms had hair in it. Air conditioning was not working and the heater was blowing heat while baby was sleeping.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The Ramada is on the sands oh the Mediterranean Sea. The view is breathtaking.
It’s the best kept secret in Israel. Quiet and fantastic.
Great showing, beautiful beach, spa, pool.
Magnificent.
- Howard (10/5): - The rooms are large with beautiful views of the ocean
- Verified traveler (8/5): Ramada Hadera - Comfortable bed. Place needs upgrade even though it is a fairly new hotel. Excellent breakfast.
No Kleenex or wash cloths provided.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great hotel on beach - Great hotel right on the beach. Lovely staff
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Great Beach location and stunning sea views. The swimming pool was not available during our stay so let us down. Over-all, I'll still stay next time.
- Mother (2/5): - No spa - empty room; pool ten minute walk around back of hotel and it is closed anyway, beach is public and dirty, no chairs only rusty old benches, mould in shower, around sink, around doors on balcony. Furniture in bedroom most uncomfortable leather which is really two put up beds. TV constantly cuts off. Bar shuts about 9, restaurant is not open in evening unless there are a lot of people staying - is that enough?
- mike (10/5): - A pretty perfect location with an priceless view. The staff was excellent and the food was very good. Will definitely stay next year.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Except for Jacquelyn, the staff is horrible, unfriendly and unhelpful. Except for the beautiful and clean room, the rest was mediocre at best. Everywhere there are people stressed and yelling at you, people pushing to get at everything. It was not a relaxing experience at all.
- Ilana (8/5): - New, comfortable hotel with huge outdoor pool, and indoor pool with spa. Right next to the sea beach. Had a very good stay.
- Abdul (8/5): - We liked the beach and the service
they don’t have a lot of variety for breakfast
Only the resption staff who can speak English
- Gabriel (6/5): Great place to stay if you eat some where else - The hotel is in a beautiful location with great sea view. The pool is veey well kept.
The dinning room is noisy and not so clean
I ended with acute gastroenteritis.
- Moshe (8/5): Nice new place - The rooms were clean new and spacious however a little minimalist. The front desk was accommodating and friendly . The view from the room was really nice . The BREAKFAST was awesome!!!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Hotel is very nice great view of the beach. Great swimming pool.
Dinner at the hotel was not good and overprice.
The Hotel pool was great
Room very clean and comfortable
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice. - Nice. Close to the beach. Restaurant by the sea. Rooms are enough for the family. Beautiful views
Staff is friendly
- Verified traveler (10/5): nice - fantastic
- Jacqueline (8/5): Worth a try - In high season this would be a great location for the beach and sea with some nearby restaurants.
In off season you feel a little remote I guess that’s the joy of a business trip
Great breakfast
- Ed (6/5): Average and overpriced - We stayed one night during a weekend. I am not totally disappointed but not particularly happy either. Our arrival experience was terrible: >30 minutes in the queue to check in, and when we got to the room the crib I requested in my notes wasn't there. Upon calling reception, instead of receiving an apology I was blamed that I didn't ask for it AND that I had to pay for the kids as well (I did ask for it and DID pay for the kids!!). I had to talk to a manager and send a copy of my reservation to prove I booked a room with two kids. Didn't even get an apology.
Pros and cons below:
Pros: Location if you want a quiet place, Hotel is new so rooms are generally OK although they already show signs of damage (cracked tiles in the shower + mold ..).
Cons:
- price for dinner is simply outrageous. It is more expensive than the most classy hotels/restaurants in Israel (250NIS / adult + 180NIS / kid). 180NIS for a 2.5-year-old is simply unacceptable. On top of the buffet is rather small.
- The breakfast buffet is also just average. Poor choice and average quality.
- Amneties are inexistent. No bathrobe to go to the swimming pool downstair, no slippers, not even a paper in the room with basic information such as hours of the restaurants / swimming pool.
- The mattress was OKish, the pillows were the worst I've had in any hotel.
- The room, despite being a suite is rather small. OK for a couple of night but not for an extended stay with kids.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Hadera Ramada - Nice resort style hotel on very quiet beach in a very quiet part of town. Great for relaxing. Great for kids.
- Lisa (6/5): Mediocre hotel in a lovely location - The best thing about this hotel isn't actually part of the hotel, it's the proximity of it to the most gorgeous cafe/restaurant on a cliff overlooking the sea. The hotel is brand new, yet the decor is out of a poor 70s design show. The Ramada's attention to detail leaves a lot to be desired. From a skew blind in the lobby, to the staff clanging and banging cutlery and crockery during what would have otherwise been a terrific breakfast experience, the whole stay felt sub-par. Besides for the wonderful breakfast spread and the lovely location, there is not much to recommend this place.
