- N5285DFdaveh (2/5): Should be condemned - This was the worst experience we have ever had with hotel. The room smelled like chemicals. The bedding was stained. There were holes in the walls. The carpeting was so dirty you didn't want to take off you shoes. The room was so bad we ended up sleeping in the car. The place shold be condemned.
- Jennifer (10/5): - The property has been kept up. Have to call a number, tell them you are there, wait for them to come unlock lobby to check in. If you ask for a late check out, they only allow til noon.
- John (2/5): - Bugs everywhere. Had to sleep in my car
- Charles (7/5): Good location, good price, staff and area were clean - Great location. Clean parking lot and clean rooms Beds were like sleeping on steel bunks from prison
- Christine (8/5): Good value and vibe. Good for longer stays. Easy ample parking - The room had a shared balcony running along all the 2nd level rooms. Had all that you needed including Microwave, Fridge -which the chain hotels have almost entirely stopped offering. I would say everything was adequate but if you need 1000 thread count linens and towels and upgraded new shiny, maybe not for you. Love that it's family run and the owner is very nice gentleman who values his regular guests and didn't take advantage and hike up rates during the Eclipse 2024. Fair indeed. The Mexican restaurant that shares the same parking lot is highly decent too. Our needs are simple and therefore, there was nothing we didn't like.
- Diamond (4/5): I wouldn't do it again - Location Dirty mattresses. The bathroom floor is breaking apart. Stains on the bed and pillow cases. A lot of drug and alcohol users out here
- Me (10/5): Exceptional -
- Drew (9/5): Superb - The guy at office was very friendly and accommodating. Pain free check in/out and facility was also very well maintained.
- Me (10/5): Exceptional -
- Page (9/5): Superb -
- Katherine (2/5): Very poor - Gave the wrong room and double charged me
- Jennifer (8/5): A short little needed a break stay. - Good location with stores & laundromat close by. Staff didn't bother me & my dog was allowed with no extra charges. No drain plug to take a relaxing bath & that I had to smoke outaide.
- Anthony (2/5): - Front clerk was very rude
- Wanda- Joel (2/5): - Horrible
- Craig (10/5): Will definitely be staying again - Management is amazing. Clean comfortable bed, clean hot shower, and convenient location in dowtown frankfort. Will definitely be staying here again the next time i am in town for work. Highly recommend for anyone who cant afford the overpriced hotels of Lafayette and needs a comfortable place to stay
- Mariana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rhonda (7/5): Very convenient, hope I never have to put my family there again. - It was convenient for my family because they were homeless. I thought it was fine.
- Novich (1/5): Bad - I don't like this place shut be close for everyone dirt and smells like garbage can I ask my money back he tells me you can go I don't care no money back I don't like this place shut be close for everyone dirt and smells like garbage can I ask my money back he tells me you can go I don't care no money back homles sleep on hotel parking . Every room have no smoking but every way is smoking and drugs are in just close this garbage can and this website suck they sales bad deals I m so mad on you guys lose $900
- Michael (2/5): This place should be demolished. - This was the most disgusting hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Cigarette burns on the blankets, dead roach in a glue trap under the sink, microwave that barely worked, shady people staying there, loud people. I would never go back there.
- Rhonda (7/5): Good -
- Mariana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Emerson (7/5): the price was ok - no breakfast i feel they have alot guests are not traveling and stay up all night and sit outside room andtalk
- Patterson (5/5): Passable -
- Douglas (1/5): Never again - It was in the correct town. It was filthy, dilapidated and disgusting
- Mitchelle (3/5): Poor - nothing the nosy manager
- Boyer (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ernest W (2/5): Look elsewhere for accommodations.. - My stay with a friend at Travel Inn & Suites was Mediocre..Accommodations were fine..More than acceptable..Check in process went smoothly..We were booked in room 113..Our neighbors, a large family were in 112..They were living there on a more permanent basis & had turned their room into an apartment..The hotel manager had NO BUSINESS doing this..He helped turned our stay into a nightmare..We were off to the see the Indianapolis 500 the following morning. We got MAYBE 4 hours of sleep Saturday night into Sunday morning. Our neighbors in 112 were loud & noisy thru 1am..We also requested a 4am wake up call..That NEVER HAPPENED as well..MY ADVICE?? LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR ACCOMMODATIONS Our stay at Travel Inn & Suites was VERY DISAPPOINTING...
- Hawthorne (1/5): Bad - Nothing it was nasty and holes in the blankets and sheets towels were stained and looked nasty. Rooms stunk like cigarettes and mold. I stayed for 4 hours and ended up leaving. Wouldn’t recommend at all for how much they are charging for how nasty it is.
- Anonymous (1/5): I didn’t purchase the room -
- Rosa (6/5): Outside looks nice but the rooms don't match - We like the parking lot The room was outdated, the bed was uncomfortable, the shower barely had any hot water. The TV had a horrible picture. The rug felt musty and dirty. The towels were horrible very hard and thin. When people walked in the upstairs room the ceiling was making all kinds of loud squeaky sounds.
- Jacqueline (8/5): Staff was very nice, place was quiet but needs updated - Not applicable Hotel is outdated
- Denise (2/5): Very poor - I did not like anything I wanted a king size bed they gave me two queen size. One asked if there was a hair dryer in the room they said yes I had to call downstairs to get one. Everything about this day was terrible smell terrible the towels were disgusting I was afraid to even take a shower.
- Patrick (1/5): Bad -
- Michael (10/5): very nice stay! - clean rooms, friendly staff, comfortable bed.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Our Room, At Least, Needed A Little Attention - There were cigarette burns in the comforters--clearly a problem from previous guests, but we never should have been aware of it; they should have been replaced. Also, the hair dryer was not in proper working order...and neither was the sink drain. A replacement and a couple repairs would really make for considerable improvements.
- Denise (10/5): Exceptional -
- Verified traveler (4/5): Booking request not honored - Motel did not honor a request for downstairs room only which was places at booking. This request was made at booking. Clerk was rude and unhelpful. As a person unable to use stairs, I had to take what they had or lose my funds. Will not be back. i do routine business in town and they will nit see anymore of my money. They knew they had no ground floor rooms and should have made that clear prior to arival.
- Jeff (6/5): - Needs minor cosmetic repairs
- sheila (8/5): - The hotel was clean and the service was great, but my room was supposed to be a king with a couch but i got 2 regular beds. It was on though i was only there a few hours
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Really dirty conditions and overly used linens
- Verified traveler (2/5): Just altogether not a nice place to stay at all. - It was disgusting, it smelt in the room, the neighbors on both sides were fighting All throughout the night and early in the morning till they finally woke me up at like 6:00 AM. A lot of drug deals going on that I saw which was very disturbing. Just altogether not a nice place to stay at all. Definitely will never go back there ever!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It is decent the staff at the front desk need better communication skills
- Nikki (4/5): Horrible service - Taking a shower, the water filled up the tub and didn't drain. Took 45 minutes for maintenance to come up with a plunger to fix it. Then the water had receeded by only 1 inch. The cable also didn't work because it wasn't hooked up right. We requested a different room. Received a SMOKING room which I am allergic to. The cover had cigarette burns and holes on it. Will NEVER stay here again.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The mattress was the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on.
I stayed here because the motel is advertised as pet friendly, however
in my reservations with Expedia there was no mention of an additional pet fee. I made my reservations paid in advance and no cancellation refund. The pet fee was an additional $15.00 per day due at check-in.
What a surprise!
- chicagoans (2/5): Dirty and smelly. We felt unsafe. - I paid for 2 rooms and instead of spending the night we chose to drive home 3+ hours after a late night wedding. The rooms stank very strongly of smoke and chemicals. The bathroom doors don't shut. The linens, furniture, and carpets are dirty, as are the outdoor spaces. Bathroom ceilings show bad water damage, and the faucets are nasty. We felt unsafe, and completely grossed out. Manager refused a refund (I had paid in advance.)
- Verified traveler (2/5): Smelly and dirty! We felt unsafe. - How this hotel got a "Good" rating is beyond me. It's horrific. I paid for 2 rooms and instead of spending the night we chose to drive home 3+ hours after a late night wedding. The rooms stank very strongly of smoke and chemicals. The bathroom doors don't shut. The linens, furniture, and carpets are dirty, as are the outdoor spaces. Bathroom ceilings show bad water damage, and the faucets are nasty. We felt unsafe and completely grossed out. Hotel manager and Hotels.com refused to offer even a partial refund.
- Michelle (2/5): Horrible hotel - There was a bowl outside to catch water from the air conditioner. The shower was dirty. The fridge was rusted and two other guests were given my room.
- anbundy (10/5): Excellent experience!! - Service was readily available and accommodating. Location is perfectly center of town, with shops and restaurants within walking distance. Over all, most impressed with the cleanliness! Amazing deal for the price.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Rom smelled faintly of smoke, but otherwise this was a decent value. Nothing fancy, but the price reflected this and everything worked and was in decent shape.
- Matt (10/5): Comfy - Just right
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The place is okay for a one night stay. It's nothing fancy.
- Thomas (2/5): - Room was in bad shape, towel rack in bathroom was laying on the floor, the bed was horrible, don’t think they had clean sheets, sleep on top of blankets, the rug in the room was disgusting, and went to take shower in morning shower didn’t work no water would come out of shower head, when I check in had to ring bell on counter for several minutes to for service, so all in all would never go back or recommend this place
- Marlania (10/5): excellent - It was very relaxing
- Kathleen (6/5): Room was not ready when I checked in at 7:00 pm - The room was servicable. Room was not ready when I checked in at 7:00 pm.
All rooms in Lafayette were booked due to Purdue family weekend so I was happy/lucky to get the room (45 minutes from Purdue).
Nothing fancy, kind of run-down.
The people working there were friendly.
- Robert (2/5): Never sell anybody a room there again - Sucked did not stay the second night and did not get no money back
- Jon (4/5): - The place smelled bad. The carpets and furniture were worn and stained. There was a hole in the wall. I had to apologize to my guests.
- Maria (2/5): - This was the worst hotel that I have stayed at. The rooms were filthy and in poor condition. Myself and my husband stayed here for a Purdue football game and our friends stayed in a neighboring room. Both of us were highly disappointed. There were safety concerns such as the fact that the smoke alarm was covered in plastic such as shower cap or ice bucket bag. Someone was clearly smoking in our non-smoking room and the bag was left over the smoke alarm which is highly dangerous if there would've been smoke or fire. An outlet came out of the wall when a phone charger was pulled out of the plug. These are both dangerous factors that were clearly overlooked. Additionally, the walls had not been wiped down in ages, there were bugs in our room, there was ash on the pillows and the sheets and towels were stained. The heat in one room would not work and a lamp shade randomly fell off during our stay. The doors were not sealed correctly and cold air poured in throughout the day and night. I spoke with the man at the desk about our complaints and requested that the manager contact me and he has yet to reach out to me. The excuses that the man at the desk made were that they were busy and the cleaning staff must have overlooked it. I do believe that it was busy as it was a big Purdue game, but there were about 6 cars in the parking lot which is strange. There were months of dirt and grime on the floor and walls which is not something that happens due to a busy weekend.
- Matt (10/5): Best bag for your buck - Friendly staff, easily accessible, and got a big room this time. Have been here multiple times and will be back. Best price in town.
- Nelda (8/5): ok - It was ok for an over nite stay or if you were a worker it would be great. No elevator so had to haul everything up a flight of stairs (after knee surgery) and we did request a main level room. He was nice about it, but.... Was clean, bed was good and we did have a suite, but you have to bring your own kitchen stuff and there were no burners on the stove!! It was nice and clean.
- Gary (10/5): Comfortable - Very clean and cozy motel. Friendly staff....
- Verified traveler (8/5): Not bad at all - It was ok
- George (4/5): Purdue - Run down and dirty......location was reason for stay
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Hotel was not clean and smelled musty. Sheets were very wrinkled. Very outdated and not up to standards.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Front desk guy changed my room to 1st fl from 2nd fl for me after seeing my bike and lots of gears.
- Leo (4/5): Work - Old place, and the rooms smells horrible, beds very uncomfortable. Not going back
- Verified traveler (8/5): - For a quick, one night stay, this was a great place. Price paid was reasonable for the quality of the hotel.
- Theresa (2/5): Awful place - Room was musty the sheets were dirty it was a non smoking room but had several burn marks on comforter was a disappointment decided not to stay obviously and was out the cost!!!
- Kathy (8/5): Nice motel for the area - Travel Inn & Suites has always provided a very decent stay for me. They're super friendly and will do anything to make you happy if there is ever an issue. Great rates make this an excellent stay, and the owners are very kind and friendly and want to make sure everything is perfect for you. I have stayed here multiple times on my trip to the area, and would pick this hotel again and again. Beds are comfortable and there is a fridge/microwave in each room. Not much to do in Frankfort itself, but for a place to sleep, this is a great spot.
- 9constanced (8/5): They mailed my iPad back to me!!!! - A friend and I stayed here when our business trip overlapped with a Purdue football game. There were no other affordable places around. This is a good, basic, no frills place to stay. Our room was clean. But the most important thing is that I left my iPad there and Kevin went out of his way to get it mailed back to me. This doesn't happen in some 4-star hotels. But it happened here. If you are looking for a family-run place to stay with honest people, try this.
- Bobbie (2/5): Nasty - Blood stained box springs, cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, loud parties, bathroom door lock u in if you just close.it.
