- Lynne (8/5): Great stay. Thank you Bramston Beach motel for looking after my family. - Great location. Close to the beach.
Staff were very friendly and accomodating and made a meal specially for my nephew as you need to book meals in advance because it’s a small motel.
Rooms were very clean and well maintained.
Comfy bed and great showers.
Would definitely recommend this family run motel.
- Jamie (3/5): - Not a lot We stayed for 3 nights
Room was not serviced until we asked

- Evelyn (10/5): - Welcoming
- Colin (6/5): Nice and peaceful for those who like it nice and peaceful and are not fused about decor. Happily stay again if they woul - The ground floor open access with nice gardens and pool facilities.
The arts area was a nice thought. Food portions were a little small and a little overpriced.
Room was a little outdated and in need of a splash of paint here and there.
- Kerrie-Ann (8/5): Great convenient - N/a
- Jules (5/5): Pleasant enough stay but needs a lot of maintenance - The location was perfect The grounds were very unkept

- Kelly (10/5): - Great accommodation, relaxed atmosphere and right on the beach. Food from restaurant was amazing but make sure you order on check in.
- Mehdi (10/5): - Right next to the beach. Staff were so friendly and helpful!!
- Rhonda (10/5): - I had an upstairs room with a great view over the motel and Paperbark Park with a two minute walk to the waters edge. My dinner was beautifully cooked, I had so much on my plate l had enough for the next nights dinner. It is very quiet and a great place if you just want to unwind, relax, and enjoy nature with a cassowary or two wandering around. Nilam and Ravi are wonderful hosts and make you feel welcome. Nothing l didn't like
- Jenny (10/5): - Comfy bed, hot shower, fresh decor and quality linen. Beautiful garden area and the pool looks very inviting for when the weather warms up.
- Tonia (8/5): Great value. - Good size rooms. Staff were very helpful. There was a lovely outdoor restaurant and bar.
It was a quiet area and the beach was very close with a walk/cycle path along the coast. We had trouble finding the entrance in the dark. Reception isn’t at the advertised property address. We needed to go around to the back of property, where the restaurant was, to find reception and parking.
- Terry (9/5): Private retreat like atmosphere with full service restaurant on premises, perfect beach getaway! - The location of the premises is excellent, just across the road from the pristine Bramston Beach. The Queen room was spacious, private and had all the amenities expected. We mainly self-catered our meals and had no issues with heating up our food and washing up. There is a microwave, no hotplate but that was fine for us. The new mattress was super comfy and the new carpet felt lovely under bare feet (after washing the sand off from multiple beach walks!) What really made the stay special was the superbly prepared lunch at the resort's restaurant that we shared with our friends who were staying at the adjacent caravan park. Understandably due to the seasonal nature of the business the meals had to be pre-ordered. They were cooked beautifully and the outdoor setting was relaxing and festive. A real gem of an accommodation and we will definitely be back! Possibly could provide a hot plate and skillet for further self catering, as Bramston Beach is a bit remote from other facilities and if one chooses not to eat all meals at the restaurant (they are closed Mon and Tues) this would really help.
- Ellie (10/5): - Love the relaxed home style feel. Stunning location, and quiet. The owners are so accommodating, professional and just overall lovely people. The food was exceptional!! Highly recommend the seafood platter for 2, seafood coconut curry and the Moroccan barramundi.
- Rikki_tikki (5/5): Quite spot by the beach - The beds were firm & the best on our trip so far The lack of notification from either Booking.com or the property regarding the 2 days pre booking requirement for the restaurant & meal selection. It put a damper on what could have been a good stay
- Gillian (7/5): Peaceful - Quiet location No small grocery shop so could buy any food as only one restaurant which was closed . If we had warning we would have purchased groceries in Babinda
- Allan (8/5): Very good - Location and old world charm, felt like a resort in bali No food Monday
But it was a public holiday..
We took food with us
- Agatina (6/5): - Rooms could be spruced up a bit more. More lighting outside of a night time
- Brenda (8/5): Very good - Food was amazing!! basic but comfortable and clean and a homely atmosphere. We liked it but there's not much there except the resort and the beach.
- Reid (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elaine (10/5): - Quiet,clean and near the beach
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional - I loved how close it was to the beach and the pool was great the cooking facilities outside was great aswell.

- Ruth (8/5): Very good - Location from beach Restaurant was closed, no where to buy food
- Karen (8/5): Very good -
- Lesley (3/5): Overall it was very disappointing. - The room had new carpet, new linen. Not enough facilities to cook though. The pool was hot, no shade sail! The BarB Q which was all we had to cook on was filthy. The restaurant was not operating ,& we had not enough supplies .

- Verified traveler (8/5): Great location. - Great location. Comfortable enough but parts weren't very clean.
- Stan (9/5): Superb -
- JOAN (8/5): - The place was clean and neat. Beautiful setting near beach (but no swimming). Some minor plumbing oddities. Be aware that their restaurant is open Wed-Sun, so on Mon & Tues you have to drive carefully to avoid wiildlife 20 minutes away.
- Sue (10/5): Quiet and relaxed. - Perfect location. Clean, comfortable accommodation. Owners very nice.
- Tiffany (6/5): Pleasant - Loved the location the place has a pool but could use the use of a shade sail for shade The communication wasn't that great was a self check in with not much information regarding the restaurant .
Times are set on the website
The sign says bookings essential but not pre ordering meals essential
- Cherie1313 (7/5): Good - Clean, comfortable and spacious room. Kids enjoyed the pool. Staff were not welcoming at all. rearaur

- Janelle (8/5): Comfortable and relaxing - Location Would like to have hand held shower vacuities
- Kym (8/5): Loved the piece, the option to cook our own BBQ or how a wonderful meal at the restaurant. - The food was excellent, the Pina Coladas, divine. Quiet location, comfortable clean beds will definitely be back. All the leaves in the pool
- Susan (9/5): Superb - It was only a quick overnight stay, but everything about our room was good, clean, spacious and comfy. We will definitely come back for a longer stay next time.
- Gina (5/5): Enjoyed our time as Bramston beach as. wonderful location. The slack attitude of the property was disappointing. - Location to beach was good , quiet & relaxing The property was tired. Needed improvement in maintenance, cleaning of facilities like bbq, pool & common area, screen doors , shower drainage, TV( broken one mounted on wall) small replacement mounted on small table, verandah lights didn’t work
- Damian (6/5): Pleasant -
- Kara (6/5): I enjoyed my stay here. The location was great and the room clean and comfortable. More motel than resort, so be mindful - The location close to the beach was great, and everything was clean and in order. The outdoors dining area gave a very ‘tropical holiday’ feel. The pool did not look clean or able to be used - though it did seem that there may have been some works being done with paths being installed etc. As a guest, I wasn’t sure whether it was available to use or not. There was no daily room service or automatic towel change service. This is very much a motel as opposed to a resort.
The owners really need to be consistent with having the restaurant open and available for breakfast from 7am. 9am is far too late for people on holidays - and even then - everything was locked up and dark at 9:10am on the morning I did wait to eat. You need to invest the time and commitment to build up the business - not stay closed because it isn’t worth it yet. Guests should not have to book to eat lunch or dinner - especially when it was definitely not a peak season.
However I did enjoy my stay - it was perfect for what I required as a base to travel out from each day.
- Max (9/5): Superb -
- Tiangco (8/5): Very good -
- Evelyn (9/5): Superb - The room decor was quite lovely and very comfortable for a relaxing stay. Othong
- Carolyn (5/5): The accommodation was very good but it was disturbing to be there by ourselves with only one staff - We did not have breakfast No one was there when we arrived and we were the only people at the resort. The lady or staff had been in Sydney for the weekend and she made fish and chips for us for dinner. Otherwise we would not have a meal as there is no other place to eat at the beach. It was not a good start . The room was excellent so that helped us feel good to be there. People need to make sure the restaurant is open snd functioning when guests are there. There is not very much undercover parking or not enough for everyone to have that parking. . .
- Susan (8/5): - We enjoyed our stay at Bramston Beach. Our room was clean, comfortable and very spacious. The setting is lovely and the beach close for a walk. Sadly the owners were called away urgently before we arrived and, therefore the restaurant was closed and there’s no other eateries nearby. The property itself needs a little TLC to return it to its former glory.
- Kara (7/5): Lovely quite spot - Lovely location in quiet area Entry and parking wasn’t marked - bit confusing.
BBQ around pool area looked like it hadn’t been used in a while
- Marie (4/5): Disappointing -
- Angie (10/5): Exceptional - Property manager was extremely helpful and went out of his way to accommodate ☺️
- Peter (7/5): Great Location - Great location short walking distance to the beach, nice dining and bar area with excellent meals
- Bryan (5/5): Passable -
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lynda (8/5): It was peaceful and relaxing. Staff were pretty friendly but not particularly engaging. - Room was a good size, very clean and a good balcony view. We got there when it was dark and there was no light to reception except a few fairy lights. It was hard to see. Also no lamp on in our room so it was all dark. Had to try and find light switches. Didn't feel welcoming when we got there.
- Matt (10/5): Exceptional -
- Charles (6/5): Friendly, comfortable, but initially confronting. - The restaurant, and the comfort and cleanliness of the room. Pleasant grounds at the rear of our room, which could not be seen on our initial approach The approach to the motel. No signage outside, an unlit and untidy/dusty reception area, unkempt area at the front. Had we not pre-booked and paid, we would have driven on.
- Tippie (8/5): A lovely place for an overnight stay! - Proximity to beach
- Annette (8/5): Very good - Location Wait times for meals
- Judi (5/5): Passable - Coffee at restaurant was great when it was open!pool looked great. Dull lighting, hot water cold,no ironing facilities, quite unkempt outside!towels very thin and hard!
- Wuoti (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kathrin (7/5): Good - Pretty property and lovely little patio outside the room. The rooms are nicely decorated too and the beds comfortable. The shower design looked good but water got everywhere. The entrance is at the back of the property but there is no signage there, so a bit hard to find. Floors needed cleaning.
- Mary (8/5): The evening meal was enjoyable and the bedroom is clean and comfortable. - Clean bedroom and good restaurant Bathroom needs attention
