My room was spotlessly clean and tidy, the breakfast was delicious and Laura, the owner, was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Everything was good.

Breakfast was delicious. The owners were great! Excellent value, a real gem. Really, there was nothing not to love about this place. The only tiny thing would be to have a normal hairdryer rather than a travel one. But very very minor point!!
• Jeremy (10/5): Fantastic thank you. - The place was amazing it was out of the way, down a little dirt track driveway. Not the easiest of places to find but well worth the effort. The room was very warm on a cold rainy night very welcoming. The shower in the morning was good as well. Breakfast very nice can't fault it. This is my only criticism as I was travelling for work, no phone signal and Internet was patchy. Both not their fault. Would i book again yes without a second thought, so although a negative point. Could also be a positive point if you want a quiet getaway.

Breakfast is in the family’s dining room, which can feel quite intimate, but the hosts are very welcoming. The ensuite room I stayed was in a separate building, which was very convenient.

The family was wonderful and friendly, as were their two lovely puppies and breakfast was a marvellous communal affair with well-prepared food and catering to my partner's gluten allergies. I stayed for a night because we were visiting someone in Milton Keynes but I might book a longer stay myself in the future just to stay there again.

• Zoe (6/5): Had a lot of potential - Nice set up, heating was warm. Location was tricky to find, felt under pressure to get to the place before the owners went to bed. It’s a self contained entity so could have just left the key especially as no one else staying with out all the initial panic. There is also a similarly named accommodation 30 mins down the road. Visitors wouldn’t know that when you put the name of the place in to Google. Feel a heads up would have been nice and what3words would surely have solved the location challenge issue. Was given no guidance on how breakfast worked, simply a time. Went without in the end as had to head off. Felt rather sad and let down as didn’t receive the advertised service.

• Rosalind (3/5): Our experience of our one night stay. - Nothing at all Very tired and old fashioned room. Bed uncomfortable as too springy. Towels were too rough and like sandpaper. Breakfast too greasy and overcooked. Late check in times after 5pm is unusual and late. Very isolated down a country lane. Pictures on website are all together different to what you see on arrival at the annex.

• Nigel (10/5): A beautiful staycation, wonderfully rustic and enjoyable home indeed. Can’t wait to be able to stay with them again! - Out in the countryside, with a fun drive to reach it. Ed and Laura have done a great job of decorating the cabins, with more than enough heating, hot water and sleeping space. The breakfast room is wonderfully rustic and reminds me of my farm holidays in Devon and Cornwall as a young boy all those decades ago. An excellent stay and I would love to have the opportunity to stay with them again. Nothing!

The breakfast choice was great and a plentiful cooked breakfast was offered with a selection of cereal, yogurt and fruit. Beautiful setting 2.Very welcoming, especially when we arrived near midnight after attending a festival at The bowl in Milton Keynes. The lights had been left on and the directions were brilliant 3.An extra bed put in place for my son, who had asked to come to the festival shirt minute, and I asked if he could stay aswell! 4.Everything for tea and coffee making was on the table for us phew! And a few biscuits. 5. Shower essentials ie:Shampoo/conditioner was in the bathroom, which was a wonderful extra surprise for us especially coming from a very very hot festival environment and hottest day of the year. 5. Lovely crisp sheets and towels were fabulous 6. The hosts were so lovely and friendly, made my day being offered Avocado and poached eggs for breakfast ( due to being a veggie ) So, Thank you Your hospitality shone just like the sun was this morning . The room was decorated in lovely antique furniture and luxurious soft furnishings. I also loved the beautiful courtyard, perfect for relaxing in the evening and the window with views on to the fields and local Church. Nothing.
