Guest Reviews
- alan (1/5): Since we had no reservation everything was unacceptable. We will never stay at your hotel again. - When we arrived we had no reservation. There were no rooms available at any of the Holiday Inn Expresses in the city Having our reservation
- Nancy (2/5): Disappointed - Our connecting room had a water leak and the floor was wet and the room smelled bad. We gave up the room. They offered a another one for the second night but it was on another floor. We said no just refund us for the room. They said they had to get a manager approval. Manager won't be in until Monday. So I don't know if I am going to get a refund. And the pancake maker did not work. Sorry look above. Write it in the wrong place. Other than that it was a nice stay.
- Steven (9/5): -
- wang (1/5): This is the first hotel I stayed in that has a bad bug problem. -
- Carl (3/5): Won’t stay at another holiday inn again because of this - Location The young man at the front desk and dirty room and no power for several hours no electricity
- Amanda (8/5): -
- Christine (10/5): Excellent accommodation for our overnight stay. - Breakfast was included and very good. Location right on a main road was very convenient; we had a wonderful dinner at the restaurant right next door.
- Cheryl (8/5): -
- Krista (10/5): It was fantastic - Every time I stay they are kind I loved it
- Jenny (7/5): -

- Robin (5/5): My day was OK but they’re still holding $174 +30 a week later - It was convenient They are still holding money for the room and it’s been almost a week
- Alex (10/5): -
- Anna (8/5): - Clean, friendly staff, comfortable beds The windows are a bit thin on the highway side, so it’s loud.
- Sammantha (3/5): Location was easy to find but you can tell management doesn’t care about the inside - Easy to find Property outside was fine the inside definitely needed some work you could tell management for this location just doesn’t care. The bathroom shower fixtures were fall off of the wall, the bathroom floor wasn’t cleaned very well and there were limited towels. The pool area was filthy we even found a cockroach type bug outside the pool door. The complimentary breakfast was awful and there were boxes everywhere in the sitting area along with garbage overflowing
- George (9/5): - Lots of restaurants nearby Hot tub was not hot only warm
- Reeve (7/5): -
- Heather (1/5): Keep looking. I would not return. - Convenient location and allow pets. We stayed in room 205 - there was mold on the bathroom ceiling and the bed sheets were covered in stains. All of our luggage and clothing now smells like mold.
- William (8/5): -
- david (10/5): - Convenient parking and fast, easy check-in.
- kirk (8/5): - Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Strangely there were some ants in the room occasionally. Not a huge amount but there was a presence.
- Melissa (10/5): -
- Charles (10/5): -
- Drake (1/5): -
- Jessica (4/5): - Our room smelled very bad like urine, there was hair in the sink when we arrived and the refrigerator had garbage in it.
- Aftab (10/5): - Satisfactory
- Robert (4/5): - Criminals prowling the businesses and vehicles in the immediate area. I saw criminal activity from my room window breaking into a business next door. I notified the front desk, but they were non-responsive to contact the local police and they had little to no concern for the clients safety that were staying at their hotel.
- Charles (10/5): -
- Olga (10/5): - Like always very clean and the breakfast amazing
- Jonathan (10/5): - Would definitely stay here again! Excellent breakfast, rooms very comfortable.
- Judith (8/5): - Very comfortable bed. Roomy bathroom and sleeping area.
- Cassandra (7/5): alright - Close to everything got it for a good price. beds are small pull out couch was horrible and hard to get in and out of and the floors were dirty like they were not vacumed
- Judy (8/5): - Convenient location to sight seeing spots and good dining options nearby.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Breakfast was all processed and bare minimum.
- Joelle (10/5): - Great location next to very good restaurant. Very quiet with nice staff
- Charles (10/5): Nice hotel - Clean, quiet, comfortable
- Ashley (8/5): - The hotel was nice and clean. The staff were very friendly.
The parking was very limited and you couldn’t use side doors for entering (only leaving) so you had to walk around the building to get back through the front door. The staff said the owners removed coded access to all doors but the front, this seemed weird and felt unsafe to me.
- Mark (10/5): - Wonderful place. Safe. Great staff. Gorgeous rooms.
- Jana (8/5): - Large Room and good price
- Rene (6/5): - While this hotel looks good at first glance, the emergency exit sign at my hally was broken, the fire exit door handle was broken so it would be impossible to open it in case of a fire, the smoke alarm in my room was hanging from the ceiling by wires and not secured to the ceiling. In addition, when I checked in at the desk, they had no record of my Expedia booking, which was prepaid. Fortunately I was able to show them the booking confirmation and payment receipt and they had a room available, but it took a half hour at the lobby desk while the employee made several calls to figure out what to do. Then I went through it all again checking out with a different staff person who wanted to charge me since the replacement room showed no payment. Another half hour proving I paid Expedia, but there was nothing in their system!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Headed south - Place was nice, close to the freeway and inexpensive gas.
- LUIS (10/5): - Excelent, clean and very close to dinner área
- Camille (8/5): - Easy access to fwy and central area for restaurants and shops. Not far from attractions. The room is good size but a bit dusty and smell very unpleasant. Maybe because the hotel allowed pets. So, they used some cleaner with very strong smell. We did not bring our dog to travel. Does not need pet friendly. Next room has a small dog barking in the morning. Breakfast was served hot and ok but when we were there too many people the kitchen is having trouble to keep up with the demand. The worker at kitchen is very friendly and nice will come out to asked if people needed anything and also warned food is very hot be careful. Front desk is very under staff. Check in person very nice but before 8pm I need to go in person to get extra towels at front desk. AC is very loud, the sofa bed looks dated so we did not used. The curtain too light weight parking lot lighting so bright at night and lack of privacy.
- Vicky (2/5): Big disappointment - The location looked great online. When we arrived the lobby looked just like the photos, but as soon as we stepped into the elevator everything went downhill. Room was packed tightly with furniture. Lights were missing the lamp shades or not connected. The carpet had several big stains. Ceiling and walls were covered in stains. AC unit was so loud I hardly slept. In other words, DO NOT recommend.
- Stephanie (6/5): Convenient location for a roadtrip - We stayed one night on a roadtrip and found this to be a convenient location off I5 in California. Traveling with 4 kids 3-8 years. The included breakfast was disappointing with several hot items out and limited fresh fruit.
- Linda (8/5): - I was told I would get a receipt and did not.
- Stephen (8/5): - The fellow at the registration desk was not at all welcoming.
- Joshua (10/5): - Hotel was nice and so was the service
- Holly (8/5): - The first room we were assigned was already occupied which thankfully the people had the double bolt on. The staff reassigned us to a new room and our experience was fine.
- Vue (10/5): - Breakfast served in the morning. Standard breakfast. Sausage, eggs, biscuits, etc. different breakfast options to choose from.
I got the two bed suite. Room is big. Beds are comfy. WiFi was a bit slow. Didn’t really see what they have on tv so unable to do review on that part. They had a small pool and wasn’t crowded when we went to use it but the pool is pretty small so glad no to many pool were using the pool at the same time as us. They also had a small hot tub same area as pool. Oh, pool is indoor and super strong chlorine smell plus because of hot tub the whole room a bit steamy (just FYI so you don’t get surprised). It was quite during our stay and I reserved in advance to check in was pretty quick.
- mario (2/5): - I rarely provide negative reviews, but in this instance it's warranted. I booked this stay at the end of a week long trip. I booked 2 rooms as we were traveling with my mother in law who needs wheelchair assistance. I had called ahead of our arrival to advice we would arrive around 10pm and the desk agent assured that was fine.
When we arrived they only had 1 room and stated they were totally sold out. The front desk agent stated that this was a Hotels.com (Expedia) issue and there was nothing he could do, even after I showed him my reservation details that clearly showed 2 rooms reserved! He called the manager who advised him to cancel the reservation.
We called another hotel nearby and they luckily had 2 rooms.
To add salt to the wound, Holiday Inn Express billed me for 2 rooms which they never provided! (remember they said there was only 1 room booked?) I called the Hotel to ask for the charges to be reversed as this must be an error and they directed me back to Hotels.com.
I did connect with Hotels.com (Expedia) and they informed me that this was a Holiday Inn issue, but they would put a case in their system and would contact me in 72 hours.
I am awaiting their response.
I have used Hotels.com and have also booked Holiday Inn locations in the past with no issues, over many years. I will think twice moving forward.
- Rebecca (8/5): - The staff was wonderful, very friendly. Property was in really good condition with nice amenities. Good breakfast.
Not so great. I was traveling with my grandson and there was a mix up in our booking. We got a king instead of 2 queens. They brought us a rollaway bed, but it was horrible. It was basically springs with a sheet laid over the top, no sort of mattress, topper or anything. My poor grandson ended up sleeping on the floor as they were booked up and had no other room they could give us. ☹️
- Stephen (8/5): - All was good
- Craig (10/5): -
- Edward (10/5): - Stay was very pleasant and relaxing. Location was near many restaurants.
- Heidi (10/5): Clean, comfortable and convenient for a stopover. - Clean, comfortable and convenient. Good breakfast. Nice indoor pool. The queen beds seemed a bit smaller than average.
- Christopher (10/5): - Great breakfast
- Amandeep (2/5): - Our bed was dity, dtained and the sheets and pillow covera were not changed. No house keeping staff after 4pm. Room was not vacumed and dirty overall
- Randy (10/5): - Was perfect for our family of 6. 👍
- Zhilan (10/5): - Helpful and effieient staff, clean and comfortable room.
- Sudhankumar (9/5): -
- Shawnet (10/5): - It’s a nice place to lay your tired head from a lot of driving . Dinning opportunities were all around. And they are pet friendly yay !!!
- Jo (4/5): - Breakfast was good . Bed was comfortable.
- Ashley (10/5): - Staff was amazing. Breakfast was good. Room was clean.
- David (10/5): - Everything is good.
- Kyle (6/5): - Parking and check-in was smooth and easy. I’ll be back again
- Jane (10/5): - Room was very dark
- Eileen (10/5): Over nighter - Over nighter for longer trip. Requested easy accrss to room with disabled family member. Granted! Room spacious and good tv for pastime. Good breakfast included.
- Janet (2/5): - Hotel has completely degraded, I have spent nights over 5 years and NEVER have experienced this. The smell of dog and dampness, the wear and tear of the rooms and bathroom are unsafe. Breakfast had go be waiting 5-10 minutes for different items to come only had one poor lady working everything. Never again will I be staying there and I was a yearly customer.
- Alex (5/5): - Centrally located Pool had to much chemical in it and mattress was hard. Also I was also charged twice for 1 night.
- terri (4/5): - There were 2 large towels in what they considered a suite. Room much to small. Couldn't open front door ifvyou had bathroom door open. $30 dollar charge for amenities which consisted of two coffèe pods. Front staff was forced friendly. Poor breakfast.
- Martin (6/5): - Two good dining spots next door
- Joshua (2/5): - First i want to say every staff member i talked to was awesome. My room on the other hand horrible multiple thing were broke, phone was missing old of the beds smelled like a fart like literally smell like a fart i kept telling my son no one want to smell him come to find out it was the bed. No accommodation was offered or made to fix it. They were fully book. Expedia didn't do anything to fix or accommodate either. Very unhappy at $150 a night not worth it.
- Cristina (8/5): - The hotel was in between two restaurants which is nice for close dinning options. We had to ask for an extra sheet set for the pull out couch and we got king sized sheets for a full mattress. The bathroom was ok, but had mold on the cocking around the sink.
The coffee area had coffe stains on the counter and the trash bin was already full at 8am. The orange juice and cranberry juice were just water with food coloring.
- Carol (10/5): Excellent Hotel to stay at! - Absolutely fantastic! We arrived a bit early but the gal had housekeeping clean our room for us right then - it was only about 30 min wait. Our room itself was fantastic, clean and comfortable.
The Breakfast was wonderful! We had eggs and sausage and potatos!
My Granddaughter went swimming for over an hour in the pool, which was really nice and then we went over next door to the Cattlemans Restaurant. We were also able to park over there so we could see our car from our hotel room. Also, if you show your room key to the Cattlemans staff they give you a discount! Everyone at the hotel was so friendly and welcoming!
- Kiran (2/5): - Within few minutes of entering the room we saw a cockroach in the bathroom. We went to the front desk and then they told me it is a cricket and not a cockroach. After some convincing they gave a us the only remaining room in the hotel which was smelling bad. So we went back to the original room and when opened the comforter to sit down on the bed, we saw multiple bed bugs. We packed our bags and left. Good luck staying here.
- CHRISTINE (6/5): - Our refrigerator had not been emptied and was full of food. Only one ice machine was working for guests in whole facilty
- Yumei (8/5): - Clean facilities, nice staff, clean and tidy room, quiet halls. Only down side is the area doesn’t have any walkable restaurants. There’s only restaurants like subway and pizza not really any other cultural restaurants to our liking. Overall pretty good.
- Shannon (6/5): - The beds are very hard and the showers have a weak stream. Otherwise typical hotel room
- Patricia (10/5): - Very friendly and considerate staff. Exceptional facility.
- Lewis (10/5): Exceptional - Staff was super laid back and comfy. Everything was clean. Some homeless wondering but not on the property at all.
- jasonmT9157YF (10/5): Amazing hotel and staff - Carlie and Cassie are the best! They made me feel so welcome and had such a warm aura from the moment I walked in. The rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast was so yummy! All my favorites were included. I will definitely be coming back to this location, again thank you ladies for making my stay so much more enjoyable!
- JESSICA (4/5): - I almoat always stay at a Holiday Inn when i travel. This location was by far the worse. I was given a room with a broken light and outlet. One of the two exits where we could leave the hotel, the door was broken. We couldnt even eat breakfast in the morning during our stay due to nothing being restocked. Breakfast was offered until 930a and almost everything was gone before 9a. The fridge where milk and yogurt is kept was empty, pancake machine not working, cereal gone, bread gone. I mean 95% of everything just gone. Ive never seen that before even getting breakfast in the past closer to the end time. The staff was friendly though. But still regret my choice in where I stayed. Sucks to have had the extra food expense for two days when we had to make a family emergency trip, which was already an expense unplanned to begin with. I would not recommend that location.
- MarkMV3238YD (4/5): Not the best Holiday Inn Express - No one at check in desk when we arrived. Waited about 10-15 minutes. Elevator clanked & did not have AC inside - very hot . Panels inside elevator were loose. Was unsure about reliability of elevator. Room was fine, but it smelled of someone who had smoked in the ‘no smoking’ room. Freeway noise was very audible but AC unit drowned it out. This hotel is not walking distance to restaurants. We were tired from driving all day and should gave stopped at a restaurant before check-in. The main pluses were an easy on/off the freeway and cookies and coffee available in the lobby. That was nice. Would not plan to stay again. We have stayed in other Holiday Inn Express hotels that were excellent.
- Simon (2/5): - I left a list upon chrck out
Ice machine broken
Black hair in the sink
Shower handle broken
Tv broken
Window broken
Lampshade missing
Room dirty
- Susan (10/5): - Nice and clean. Friendly staff!
- Linh (6/5): Ok, but would not return - The staff was friendly The room was dirty. Stains on sofa bed. Room wasn’t vacuumed well. Pancake machine wasn’t working. We booked the location specifically because it had EV charger but the chargers were all broken.
- Toni (2/5): - There was mold everywhere. On the ceiling and growing in the walls in the bathroom. We could smell it and the room was humid. We opened a window just to try and get the smell out. There was makeup smeared on the light and the shower safety bar was literally coming out of the wall. I tried to switch rooms but they didn’t have another suite. Turns out this room was above the pool and the moisture had created major mold issues. It should not be rented. This makes the top 5 nastiest rooms I’ve ever had to stay in. We will not be back.
- Kamalakannan (5/5): Overall stay was not as expected. Will never book this property again. - Had EV charger. Staff were friendly. A set of EV charger was broken for long time it seems. It would not have been enough if there are more EVs. Pan cake maker was broken too. Rooms look old, TV doesn’t have YouTube or any other app.
- Israela (10/5): - The front desk person was really nice and understanding. Property felt safe and breakfast was great.
- Yatanveer (6/5): Ok for a night. - Location. Carpet was very dirty.
We were given handicap room.
The swimming pool is indoor and the whole hotel was smelling.
- David (2/5): Meh - would not stay here again. - The bed was comfortable and clean and the room was spacious. Tricky getting onto the wifi but at least it stayed on. The coffeemaker, microwave and refrigerator worked and were clean. The included breakfast was standard fare and okay. The night employee seemed like he was 'high'. The room reservation confirmation was for two queen beds. Upon the doors opening for the elevator it looked like a freight elevator - plain walls and dirty, poorly installed sheet vinyl floor. When we went to the room the keys didn't work and had to return to the front desk. When I told him the keys didn't work he asked how they didn't work. He rekeyed them, when we returned to the room and opened the door, the room was already occupied. Returned to the front desk again and we were then told they had no more rooms with two queens, they only had a king with a pullout or he offered a cancellation credit (not sure what that would be). The room key worked on the first try and upon entering noticed a strange odor - never figured it out. The bathroom was mostly clean but more detail should be used when cleaning it. The window roller shades worked okay, the sheer had a large tear and the solid shade was not very room darkening. When we checked out I spoke to the day employee who remembered the booking confirmation and I told her about the room being occupied. I asked to speak to the manager, who was not in and I was told they would call me - five days later and I still haven't heard from them.
- Jason (9/5): Thumbs Up. - Great Staff! Hot in the lobby.
- Lou (5/5): Passable -
- Karen (5/5): Passable - Easy to get to from freeway Very rude and unprofessional behavior from the front desk staff…both checking in and then checking out the next morning. Their automatic response to my simple requests were always a firm no. No effort was made to help the customer. The borrow line was they didn’t want to do any work. I will not be staying there again.
- Diana (6/5): - Close to highway and restaurants.
Poor water pressure
No shade to block outside light.
Room was warm and stuffy upon arrival but did cool down when we turned in the air.
- LIWEI (10/5): - This is the second time we stayed here. and it was great experience. Everything is great. will definitely stay here again if needed.
- Cynthia (10/5): - Wondering stay....brought cat
