Guest Reviews
- Paula (8/5): My main reason was inside pool should have gotten notice that it wasn't in use. - It was great for the kids
- Ryan (10/5): Great place highly recommend - Great breakfast location was great near tons of shops. Not far from downtown. Needs a hot tub. Lol
- Jennette (10/5): - They worked so hard during the ice storm.
THEY SHOWED UP!
So blessed to have a warm place to stay Laundry room ceiling was “falling”
- David (6/5): Could have been a great stay if we had housekeeping. - It was clean and staff was friendly. Lots of great accommodations. Large fridge, microwave, dishwasher, oven and stovetop. Hard bed. No housekeeping for 5 nights we were there, supposed to be every other day. I addressed a few times and never happened. We had to do our own.
- Milena (8/5): -
- Valerie (4/5): - Whoever said the rooms were clean, they lied. The cleaning staff must be blind one one eye or some some these tubs are filthy. They looked like that havent been cleaned. Hair all in the corners. We asked to look at our rooms first before we check in, the receptionist seemed a little upset.
Once we made it back to our room to shower we found out the water would not drain in the tub. She said they didnt have any more rooms. Then she told me she had no one to clean ours at that time of night (9.pm) What does that has to do with me getting another room????
She said the manager was not in and wont be back until morning.
I wouldnt even get a room here to let my dog stay. Please dont let the outside fool you. Dont waste your time here.
- Nelisha (10/5): - Clean room, great service, great free breakfast selection.
- Jasmine (10/5): -
- Jacqueline (10/5): - EVERYTHING WAS AWESOME!!
- Roderick (4/5): Bad - The lobby flooring, elevator and carpet around the lobby and the 4 th floors were filthy, very poor job with housekeeping and maintenance…
There was mildew in the shower, the toilet seat was broken and the elevator was out of irder
- Willetha (10/5): - It was just lovely
- Karen (7/5): -
- Michael (8/5): - Easy access to the highway.
- sharen (10/5): - First night stay they offered all carbs & sweets for breakfast. Yuk . next day was eggs. Yay.
- Lin (8/5): - The way to get to the hotel was inconvenient.
Also, you need to paint the stripes for parking spaces. So hard to see, especially when it rained.
- Danielle (10/5): - This is a nice quiet location and clean. The staff are friendly also. Definitely will stay again!
- Byron (7/5): Good - Location,Cleanliness, Breakfast I paid for a king suite with a sleeper sofa, and the sleeper sofa was right at the end of the King Bed, with no separation or a wall separated for privacy 🤔..had to get undressed and dressed with our daughter in open space.
- Joy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kimberly (4/5): Terribly disappointed - There was no Air Conditioning working in one of our rooms, it was 83 in the room at check in. The solution was to open a window. Nothing else was offered so we did not have a good night
- Stephanie (10/5): - Very clean and very friendly and helpful staff
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maria (10/5): - I liked that the facilities are clean and modern!

- Brittany (9/5): Superb -
- Masaya (8/5): Very good -
- Mariglen (8/5): - There is no hot water in the shower. My husband took a cold shower hoping that the water would warm up and it never did.
- Allison (6/5): Won’t be a next time - Shower size
Outdoor smoking area Small King Suite
Fighting the sheets to stay on the bed
Terrible mattress
Water pressure in shower
Breakfast
Rough towels
- Shandrea (8/5): Very good -
- Alicia (10/5): - We always enjoy our stays at TownePlace Suites. We can count on them to be clean and comfortable. Marriott has been our hotel of choice for several years now.
- Shari (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tiffany (9/5): Would stay again if we wanted to stay outta downtown - Good, quiet location. I know Nashville isn’t a relaxing destination but my husband wanted to relax while we were in town for a concert and we got to do just that at this hotel! The breakfast seemed a bit lackluster compared to other Marriotts, attendant wasn’t there or something, we had to find coffee cups under the counter in the breakfast nook
- Holly (9/5): Superb -
- Judith (10/5): - Check in staff was wonderful! Great customer service.
- Robert (2/5): Very rude. Unwilling to help customer. Very argumentative- will never stay at this location again. Very damaging to Mar - It was clean hotel with nice breakfast Unfriendly front desk staff on our 2nd night. Not safe location - couple we were traveling with had their room broken into and cash and personal items stolen.
- Ashley (6/5): - I wouldn't stay here again. The staff didn't show up to make breakfast, so it was dry cereal and coffee only.(The poor lady at the desk was doing the best she could though). Also, they have a setting on the AC where it doesn't run at night, so the room was hot and stuffy all night.
- Sheri (8/5): - Booked at the last min on Expedia. Needed a place to stay on our way through. And it said that they were pet friendly. Called to tell them that we had a small dog. They charged us $100 for one night with a little potty trained dog. Crazy. That was basically the cost of the room.
- Violet (10/5): - I was able to check in early, then was told pool was closed which was one of the reasons I chose this location. I was disappointed however we told we could go across the street to sister hotel. Overall stay was decent.
- C8733BDamyj (10/5): First time to TownPlace and returning - This was our first staying at a TownPlace Suites and we will be returning. We visit the area almost annually to visit family and this time we stayed for 6 nights and the room exceeded our expectation. I requested the top floor so we didn’t have to listen to anyone above us and this request was granted. Also we were at the end of the hall and I don’t think anyone was in the nearby rooms so it was very quiet. The breakfast was less than desirable but the indoor heated pool for our daughter made up for the terrible breakfast. Plus there’s a Cracker Barrel down the street which we always try to go to on our visits. Staff was friendly and great to deal with. Whenever we asked for new towels or we needed a vacuum to clean up some crumbs the staff was very responsive.
Can’t wait to go back during the holidays.
- Higgins (10/5): Exceptional -
- sue (8/5): - King with pullout is small. Pullout couch touched bed & No mattress pad for pullout couch
- Daya (10/5): - This is the BEST hotel in Goodlettsville! I've already been here 5 times, and I always have the best experience! They're clean, friendly, and customer service is always amazing!
- Sang (8/5): Very good -
- Ashley (10/5): - Enjoyed my stay at this spot! Very comfy and had all the amenities I needed.
- Krista (8/5): - Room was okay. The bed was uncomfortable for both my daughter and I. The sofa bed is the size of a loveseat.
There was paint peeling in the bathroom and the shower seemed to leak onto the floor after each use.
Staff was friendly. Fitness area was adequate and clean. Pool is only 3 foot deep on all ends. This is probably okay for smaller children but the water level was at my daughter’s belly button when standing.
Cornhole game and grilling area was nice.
Guest laundry was okay. Only had 2 working washers and 6 dryers. Made it difficult to wash uniforms for multiple teams in one hotel.
Location was convenient to get to restaurants and ball park.
- Thomas (8/5): - Great spot right outside nashville
- Laura (10/5): - The free breakfast offered a variety of items such as scrambled eggs, sausage patties, bagels, toast, waffles and cereal.
There was fresh fruit out at all times along with hot coffee and ice water.
- Maria (10/5): I enjoyed the peace and quiet environment at night. - Location, close to I-65 South. Excellent breakfast.
Amenities: Exercise room and working pool.
- Gabriel (10/5): - Loved this property...
- Virginia (8/5): - great hotel! highly recommend.
- Doris (10/5): - I was dissatisfied with the housekeeping only gave you fresh towels every other day. You would have to ask for clean towels. I was dissatisfied with the housekeeping service since they only provided fresh towels every other day, and I had to ask for clean towels otherwise.
- Kimberly (6/5): Disappointed - Toilet was not working and front desk gave a plunger to use instead of moving us to another room. Breakfast was promised but since breakfast person didn’t show up for work, no breakfast was given except for cereal. Had to go out for breakfast which cost more than we wanted since we stayed thinking breakfast was being served to us. Not happy since we paid for breakfast and did not receive it.
- TravelDiva001 (8/5): Good location & fairly new hotel - The bed was very comfortable and the shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. We were there 2 nights.
Breakfast was adequate, but not exceptional.
The person at check-in was not at all warm or welcoming; no name tag visible.
However, Janice at check- out was kind and helpful. We had a number of issues with things that were broken or missing in our room as well as what appeared to be water damage from the shower in the bathroom. (There is a lot to be said for having a complete shower enclosure, not glass that only partially covers the shower.) I told Janice about all of our issues with the room, showed her photos I had taken, and she wrote everything down. I hope all of these problems have been addressed so future guests in this room can have a much more pleasant experience. My husband was in touch with management about our concerns and they were very receptive.
- Kelly (10/5): - Comfy spacious room with full kitchen
- Amy (8/5): - A
- Brenda (10/5): - Had a wonderful time with friends. And it was quiet and just lovely so I could sleep afterwards
- Jennifer (10/5): - Much more affordable than downtown Nashville, nice breakfast options and clean rooms.
- Jeree (10/5): enjoyable stay - I love coming to the location for my birthday weekend The cleaness can be better found crumbs on the floor and i had a few bugs that were in my room which probably came threw the window
- Williams (8/5): I would give it 8.5 almost 9 for the stay - I liked the suite we were in! The breakfast, the floor wasn’t vacuumed, and the shower was different for me with no doors
- Xavier (10/5): - Friendly staff. Very clean rooms
- Charles (10/5): - From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a friendly smile and she was glad to see us.
- Gordon (9/5): Superb -
- Carlos (4/5): - The floor in the room was dirty. It needed to be vacuumed/swept. The wall behind the kitchen sink and stove needed to be cleaned. Two people smoking heavy close to the hotel entrance for extended periods of time.
- Jay (10/5): - This is an awesome property with friendly and helpful staff.
- Shawnice (10/5): - Easy stay…arrived around 2AM and check in staff was ready to assist.
- Sawyers (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brenda (10/5): Exceptional - Stay was very nice, room was clean and quiet. I would like to see more of a breakfast. Had cereal but no milk was out. Muffins maybe
- Wendy (5/5): It was ok. - it was ok the suite was very small for the amount I paid
- Jessica (8/5): Very good -
- Julie (9/5): Superb -
- Brittany (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joyce (3/5): Someone was cooking with garlic and onions next door. My clothes even smelled I had to wash everyth - It was pathetic!!! Not good at all Biscuits were so hard they couldn’t be cute with a sharpe knife
- Tate (4/5): - Our room was dirty so we had to move. No discount or thoughtfulness to make up for the inconvenience. Not your typical Marriot.
- Julie (10/5): Good set-up for a working vacation - The studio room at this hotel offered a good option for my 5-night stay when I came to town for some family business. Fridge, microwave and 2-burner stove all came in handy. A small rolling table made it easy to work at the desk or sit on the couch with a laptop nearby. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful when I needed a couple of things.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nov get away - Good location was great for us and being pet friendly was a plus. Rooms were clean but pet fee was a bit steep for one small dog.
- Jason (8/5): - Loved the bed and the room. The kitchenette and full sized fridge and freezer were helpful. I didn't hear much outside noise at all even though the hotel is right on a busy street. I slept late and well both nights. I think that informing the potential guest that the pool is closed down would have been helpful to me. The door to the pool area was just locked and the water in the pool was green. A four star hotel with an indoor pool should be open year round or at least a reason given for it being closed. Most of my room was clean but there were several smudges on the windows and some mystery spills/spots in places on the walls like they just hadn't been wiped down in a while. Overall I was happy with the stay and I'd probably stay again.
- Brenda (10/5): Excellent - The kitchenette in the room Everything was great
- Daniel (10/5): - Very clean and friendly staff.
- Matthew (10/5): - Nice and clean rooms. Long weekend to visit Nashville. About a 17 minute drive from the hotel to downtown Nashville. Cyndi at the front desk was welcoming and friendly.
- Jacob (10/5): - We appreciated having a kitchenette in our room. The staff was courteous, our room was clean, and we had close access to the city and lots to do around the area.
- Sandy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michel (10/5): - All was good, fairly close to Nashville
- philip (10/5): - Nice Property with clean rooms
- Johanne (6/5): Pleasant - The facility was good There was not a remote control in the room
- Marlene (5/5): Passable -
- Lindsey (8/5): - I always try to stay at Marriotts because I love the beds and they are clean. This was not around too much. They are doing construction across the street, but it was not too loud. I really wanted to go swimming but the pool is out of service, they offered if you wanted to go across the street to the Courtyard, but I didn’t want to do that. All the staff was very nice. Easy parking, and quick to your room. My only complaint was that housekeeping just walked in my room while I was laying in bed. No knocking. It was very awkward. I said I didn’t need service. Then she left and walked back in like a minute later, again without knocking offering me towels, which I didn’t need. So very uncomfortable. Again this morning, I heard housekeeping try to just walk in again, luckily I had locked the door. So if you stay here, make sure to lock your door or you can unexpectedly be staring at a stranger from your bed.
- April (10/5): Exceptional - I loved the space of the room and the location. Nothing really
- Kerri (10/5): Great location, good breakfast and friendly - Great location right off interstate. Many restaurants close by. Good breakfast, amazing staff staff. We will be staying here every year on our return trip from FL to OH.
- Noah (10/5): I was in town for a weekend and felt just as comfortable in my room as I would my house - The room was way bigger than originally expected and the bed was even more comfortable Better variety of coffee in the room
- David (10/5): Nice stay in Brentwood! - The hotel has a beautiful lobby. Breakfast was included, with good options on the buffet. Our room was very comfortable. The shower was gorgeous and the bed was very comfortable. The TV set included Netflix and streaming options. The only (minor) complaint is that the kitchenette in our room showed signs of wear, and the coffeemaker made very weak coffee. But that was very minor, considering we didn't need to use the kitchen. Very nice facility.
- Crystal (10/5): - This is our hotel of choice every time we come to Nashville. They have been very nice to us and we really enjoy the stay.
- Jef (10/5): Great Hotel - Great hotel and location to my business meeting.
- John (10/5): - Convenient to I65 and very clean. Lots of restaurants around. Big room with kitchen and a great shower!!
- Janet (10/5): We felt rested after our stay. - The room was clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows were comfortable too. There wasn’t a designated area for a suitcase to be placed and opened.
- Page (7/5): Good - The breakfast was pretty good. The pool was closed and we had to go across the street to swim at another Marriott location. Also I had a nightstand full of ants. I went to the front desk to notify them and to see if they had something for the ants. The front desk lady told me no and to just use my shoe to kill them. And she also stated that they were harmless.
