• Jason (4/5): For what we needed the room for, it was fine. - The location was great for what we needed. The staff were friendly enough, but could've turned on the "charm" a little more. It was a place to sleep, which is all we really needed. The sleeper sofa was the most uncomfortable pull-out bed I've ever slept in...and I know that pull-outs aren't generally comfy, so this says a lot! The wallpaper in our room was peeling off of the wall. The "breakfast included" was not actually included unless you paid. The pool grounds were nice enough, but maybe stay up to speed with how rusty your patio/deck furniture is getting. If it's rusty, replace it! Also, I felt that the price for the room didn't match what we got...definitely trying to capitalize on being close to "wine country."

Schönes Bistro/Bar in der Lobby, Parkplatz mit ausreichend Flächen und Lademöglichkeiten vor dem Hotel. Teppich auf dem Flur etwas abgewohnt, teilweise schlechte Handtücher, Zimmerreinigung etwas unaufmerksam.

One of the best hotel showers we’ve ever had, really well designed, perfect water control, and so spacious! Excellent room temperature controls. Comfy bed. Very very clean. Small couch to relax on when watching tv, not just the bed. Good budget-choice (for California) when traveling for work. Friendly staff, casual style. Morning bistro should be open longer. Missed good coffee being available all day. Just vending machines. Bleak corridors, not even a picture or any decoration by the elevators. Few niceties aside from the shower, so can’t recommend for vacation travelers.

There are tons of great options outside the hotel, which was great, however would have enjoyed staying at hotel for a casual meal as well. Disappointed that there wasn't complimentary coffee for guests, considering it's not a great expense for the hotel to offer it. $5 for a single regular Starbucks filtered coffee is crazy.

The hallways could also use a bit of an upgrade, as they look dated compared to the rest of the property. Overall, a decent stay but the noise from the AC made it hard to rest.

Finally firemen said ok to return to rooms. In the morning front desk said he was checking the building and did not consider all the people. Door from park of the building locked to exit. After banging on door someone opened so we could exit the building.

Access if parking through the back is a long path through the pool area and isn’t convenient so you basically Have to park in the front regardless. Wallpaper started peeling in shower. Rooftop bar hasn’t been open since Covid.

They made the whole process of checking in, asking questions and check out a very easy , smooth process. The only downsides were that it was a bit noisy at night, and there was no body soap, bottle was empty in the shower. Also, the pool area ran out of towels when we went around 5pm which was a little inconvenient. Other than that, everything was great and we enjoyed our time here.

Her service alone saved our stay- we booked a room through hotels.com for 5 people, and to our understanding, we would be staying in a room with 2 queen beds and 1 sofa bed. This was not the case. Hotels.com did not properly list the accomodations at this property. As a result, the hotel staff was left to pick up the pieces. Fortunately, we were lucky and the outstanding staff and management quickly accommodated our needs. Super impressed with this team and will return solely because of the customer service we received! Will not be booking through hotels.com again....
• Marwan (10/5): Perfect stay for work, with a convenient location - Well-organized and perfect for remote work. The location is convenient for traveling to both San Diego and Los Angeles. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The carpet appeared dirty, and the rooms could benefit from better maintenance—for example, the wallpaper was peeling and in need of repair.

• Susan (6/5): Over-priced for mediocre accommodations - Being on a bereavement trip, we were pleased to be able to check in early. Amy, the GM was friendly and accommodating. The room was an odd configuration- the bed was not in the usual place and the night table fit tightly on the wall side, with the drawer facing the mattress and was inoperable being it was faced the wrong way. The bed should have been on the left wall and facing the TV. The over-sized couch should not be blocking the window and took up too much space in the room. There was no microwave and the refrigerator did not work. There was only one bath towel each and no hand or wash cloth for the second person. No carpet and floor was sticky in spots. No complimentary breakfast- only food for purchase in the lobby with limited hours of service. Do not recommend- there are many other properties with better amenities, for a much better price.

• Stephen (8/5): - It was clean and check-in and check-out was easy. If you’re expecting superior amenities from a Marriott property, this one falls short. The towels are thin, worn and inexpensive, the sheets were stiff and cheap and don’t expect the niceties of shower cap, lotion or similar amenities. But for a clean, run-of-the-mill hotel room, it works. We also liked that it was centrally located to shopping and our destination.

• Sarah (4/5): - Although it’s a 3 star and eco friendly, the Courtyard line could really make a stay worthwhile if they would do two things. Invest in better mattresses (the mattress was SO uncomfortable, so hard to sleep on for two nights and the pillows as well!). Second is use warm tone LED lights. You can still be eco friendly but the lighting was so harsh and felt clinical. Staff was super nice but can’t say I would stay here again
