- Faye (10/5): A memorable onsen experience with excellent meals and service. - A very well located and welcoming onsen hotel. The staff accommodated our requests for extra bedding and towels. And the well appointed reception area was comfortable and offered self help, coffee and other drinks. The onsen bathing was exceptional with inside and outside baths. There was an area for children to play, karaoke room and a relaxing lounge. The buffet dinner and breakfast offered a variety of Japanese and Western foods and drinks. It was of a most acceptable standard. The views of rivers and mountains were special, and the Torokko small train was a unique ride, as well as the walks over the bridges and in the tunnels. Beautiful view from the lobby and rooms. Facilities: fantastic onsen. Breakfast and dinner are interesting and varied. Rooms: opted for Japanese style rooms with futon beds. Good ambience. Great views. Space is adequate for a family with small kids. Cleanliness: excellent. Bathrooms/Toilets: separate shower room and toilets. Most small cafes and restaurants nearby have limited timings. An all-day restaurant or cafe in the hotel would have been great (especially when travelling with small kids).

- chanipat (10/5): Exceptional !!! - จริงๆ ฉันไม่ค่อยชอบโรงแรมขนาดใหญ่ เพราะรู้สึกว่ามันวุ่นวาย ไม่เงียบสงบ แต่หลังจากที่ฉันมาพักที่นี่เมื่อหน้าหนาวปีที่แล้ว ทำให้ฉันต้องเปลี่ยนใจและกลับมาพักที่นี่อีก ฉันชอบทุกอย่างที่นี่ ทั้งห้องพักที่สะอาด กว้างขวาง อุณหภูมิภายในห้องพักที่อุ่นสบายในหน้าหนาว ฉันเคยมาพักทั้งห้องแบบญี่ปุ่น และห้องพักแบบ twin+ห้องนั่งเล่น ประทับใจทั้งสองแบบ ห้องพักแบบ twin เตียงนอนสบายมาก อาหารบุฟเฟต์ทั้งเช้าและเย็นของที่นี่ คือสุดยอด อร่อย สด สะอาด และมีการเปลี่ยนเมนูให้มีความหลากหลาย ไม่ซ้ำกันในแต่ละวัน ถึงแม้แขกที่เข้าพักจะเยอะ แต่อาหารก็บริหารจัดการให้เพียงพอ ต่อเนื่อง ออนเซนที่นี่ก็ดีมาก วิวออนเซนภายนอก คือสวยสุดๆ เห็นวิวกว้าง และมีบ่อภายนอกให้เลือกหลายบ่อ อุณหภูมิน้ำ ก็สามารถเลือกได้ตามความต้องการ amenity ก็ครบถ้วน (เพียงแต่ไม่มี peeling mask, และที่ขัดเท้าให้ใช้ เหมือนออนเซนดังๆ ที่อื่น - ขาดไปอย่างเดียว) วิวภายในห้องพัก และวิวจากโถงต้อนรับของโรงแรม คือแม่น้ำและหุบเขาคุโรเบะ สวยงามมากๆ เราสามารถนั่งเล่นชมวิวได้เป็นชั่วโมงโดยไม่เบื่อ ไม่มี

We took the room with river view. It was excellent! Bathroom had a smell. It went away after we kept the door opened for a while.

- Mami (10/5): 山間の温泉郷のコスパ最高な宿 - お部屋の和室部分も、広縁も広くて快適でした。 洗面所も広く、洗面器もトイレも二つずつ配置されていて、とても快適でした。 延長コードがあらかじめ置かれていたり、細かいところまで心配りを感じられました。 夕食と朝食のビュッフェも品揃えが多く、味もどれも美味しかったです。 特に夜に食べたブリ刺し、お鍋、おでん、お寿司、抹茶のムースが美味しく感じました。 良くなかった点はありません。

It was a great view of the gorge, which can be enjoyed from the lobby and some rooms. The included buffet breakfast and dinner were one of the best culinary experiences we had in Japan. The food was tasty, fresh, and there were many options to choose from. The room was amazing: clean, nicely arranged and comfortable.

There is a lovely view of the river and two bridges from the onsen and the lobby. Staff is very friendly, the local food in the banquet was delicious. The room was beautiful, quiet, clean and spacious. It far exceeded my expectations.

- HARUKA (8/5): 壮大な自然の景色とご当地グルメを楽しみました。 - 昨年利用した際に素敵な宿でしたのでリピートさせていただきました。前回は別館のお部屋で今回は本館のお部屋でした。別館のお部屋の方が綺麗で快適な作りでしたがお風呂やレストランへは遠く、高齢の祖母の移動が辛そうでした。本館のお部屋は部屋はコンパクトな作りでしたが景色が良く、お風呂やレストランへの移動が楽で良かったです。レストランの料理はどれも美味しく数多くのご当地グルメを楽しめました。海鮮の種類も豊富でした。朝ごはんも美味しかったです。今回は丁度イベントが行われていた為あそび場が多く、ワークショップや縁日も開催されていて子供たちも楽しめる空間がとても多かったです。大変充実した時間を過ごすことが出来ました。 強いて言うならばお風呂の洗い場のシャワーがプッシュ式なので面倒だったのとシャワーをかける位置が遠く、シャワーを使って置く際いちいち中腰にならなければいけなかったことが大変でした。お風呂場のアメニティは豊富でとても良かったです。
- Hironori (4/5): もっと下調べは入念に… - スタッフの方が外国人の方が何名かいらっしゃったんですが、皆さん丁寧でとても親切で感心してしまいました。 予約サイトが良くなかったんですが、コスパが悪過ぎてモヤモヤしました。 ５人で行って20万弱の支払いだったのですが、部屋はどう見ても1人14,000位のクラスだし、アメニティも殆ど無いしご飯は夕、朝バイキングで正直、かなり期待してただけにガッカリでした。

- Zairianti (9/5): A relaxing and memorable stay with stunning views, excellent service. Perfect for a family getaway - We had a wonderful stay at Unazuki Onsen Yamanoha. The **staff were extremely polite, helpful, and explained all the available facilities in detail**, which made us feel very welcomed from the start. Our room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with a spectacular view of the Kurobe Gorge and its iconic red bridge— truly a highlight of our stay. It provided a peaceful and scenic atmosphere, perfect for relaxing as a family. The onsen was comfortable and enjoyable, ideal for unwinding after a day of exploration. The location is excellent, just a short 5-minute walk from Unazuki Onsen Station, which made it very convenient for us. We especially loved the dinner buffet — it offered a wide variety of delicious dishes, while the breakfast was good as well. An added highlight was the sightseeing train ride through the Kurobe Gorge, which was a fun and memorable experience for the kids. We would definitely stay at this hotel again if we return to Japan. Highly recommended for families! Nothing!

Very minor things, but they charge money for their massage chair. The children play area small amount so it seems not critical, but in the other resort that we have all that was included, and it felt a bit more generous as I said fairly minor thing.

- Oneinamellion (8/5): Wonderful stay in Unazukionsen - Close to Unazukionsen Station. The staff were friendly and even though the station was so close the staff kindly offered to drive us to the station without any booking required. We were very impressed by their service. The buffet dinner and breakfast was great and had a lot of variety. During dinner the staff set up the futon beds for you which was also comfortable. The rooms didn't have aircon and was quite stuffy and hot.

- Abrar (9/5): Perfect place if you are staying at Kurobe - Everything was perfect about this property! Rooms were super nice and clean. Location was just within a short distance from the station. Staffs were super nice. Can’t complain about anything! This has been our best stay in Japan
