Cold house, freezing house, no support for any administration, there's nothing inside the house, no hot water. No pots to cook with, no glasses to drink water, no forks or knives, and they don't answer the phone to provide any support whatsoever, totally negligent. It's an illusion, they didn't respond to WhatsApp after receiving the deposit, they refunded me after 9 days, a total disregard. I went to Belfast for my experience and it was traumatizing, they sell an illusion, it's nothing like a dream, it's a nightmare. The house has an alarm noise, I sent messages and nobody answers, only when I threaten to call the police. 🙄🙄🙄🙄

They did not give us key access and we were left stranded We rang a lot of times no one answered left stranded in Belfast from the outside the light was flickering and the door is smashed we did not get inside. Please do not book to stay here

We booked for 4 nights and left after 1.
When issues were raised via whatsapp/ telephone/ booking.com message the response took over 4 hours , the contact phone number provided wouldn't take calls.
Booking.com agent couldn't even get an answer...
We waited for a response and when one didn't come ( messages sent overnight and in the morning and first response was midday next day) we found alternative accomodation. Approx 45 mins after booking somewhere else we were contacted by the apartment agents and offered a repair or alternative apartment. Too little too late as we had appointments to meet and couldn't wait around for a response as we had already wasted half a day .

- Emmet (1/5): Beyond disappointing - Don’t ignore the negative reviews - Horrible- I’ve never experienced such poor customer service & property management. It took 3-4 hours to get try & get checked in, at that point I was told that the deposit was 250 rather than 100 which had been sent to me directly by dream apartments but they haven’t updated their info. This situation was dealt with so poorly that I didn’t end up staying & lost all the money for the booking. I was told to go stay in a different apartment to what I booked also. I work in hospitality myself and I would never dream of treating anybody like this or handling situations so poorly. The negative reviews are reflective of the genuine experience. Please avoid

DIRTY.
No curtains in one of the apartments 0 privacy
Dried in sick to the carpet and sticky tables all the way.
Blood going up and down the hallways of places and the carpet and everything in it is awful.
My daughter and my partner wanted to stay over Xmas for a few days. Safe to say Xmas ruined because of them. this places doesn’t look this nice and clean in person.
Staff unhelpful and ignore you when text and call.
Tried to get our deposit and money back… it took them weeksss and apparently every time the excuse is “ we are doing some work to the apartments “ eeee no your not bunch of lies.

The location is only a 5 minute bus trip away, so it's perfect for a night out as well as a day of galavanting. I didn't really think the bed was that comfortable, but that is mostly due to my chronic illness.

- Catrina (4/5): Unsafe and staff say it’s cleaners problem for not leaving keys to lock the doors - The apartment itself was beautiful- had a ground floor with a lovely garden When we arrived the front door was already open, didn’t think too much about it.
Then the back door had no key to lock it so anyone could have gotten in.
Made contact with the number given and was told there should be a key in the back door and it’s “cleaners problem”
Nothing was done so I couldn’t even stay one night even though was booked two nights as did not feel safe, we even asked other people staying to help find a way to close the door and they couldn’t and one man said use two young girls will come back here drunk and someone will open that door and come rape use- that’s when I said I couldn’t stay and that was another male guest saying that. They still haven’t gave back the £100 deposit but as I told the man on the phone the doors were open before we even came so how would they know if it was us or another person if there was damages.

The shower door fell off prior to getting in to use it, the TV didnt work to which they moved us rooms and that TV also didnt work. Balcony doors arent lockable, walls are filthy. Carpets are disgusting. Give it a miss.

- Roy (6/5): Nice enough, but not what we booked - and be sure to read the small print! - When it became tricky for us to find out how to get into the apartment, the host agents were quickly responsive with their messages to get us into the apartment. Once we were finally in, the apartment exceeded expectation, shy of a few issues that I shall go into in more detail below. It was a lovely big space with comfortable beds and seating, and had fairly simple access to the city centre. However... We were only told at the very last minute that they were putting us in a different apartment a mile further out of town to the one that we had actually booked. We specifically wanted our original location in order to make the trip more walkable, and while we were still in a fairly interesting part of town, in a fairly nice apartment, it most distinctly wasn't what we'd asked for. When questioned on this, the agent glibly told us that they thought it was a better area where we now were, but that's not really for them to decide.
Also be sure to read all of the booking criteria thoroughly before you book, as the £100 security deposit came as something of a shock. It felt almost as if we were being held hostage to fate in an unfamiliar city until we stumped up the cash and found out where we were staying. It also made us constantly on edge fearing that we'd make some error that would cost us out deposit. But as they told us, it was really our own fault for not taking in the full instructions. It also felt extremely suss that communications were suddenly switched to WhatsApp and not the official Booking.com app.
There were also a few issues with the facilities. The TV controller had the most important buttons missing, so we couldn't watch anything. We found another one down the side of a cupboard, but it was for a different TV. There was no kettle or bin, the dining table chairs seemed to have the legs half unscrewed, and the heating was turned on so high upon our arrival that it was sweltering. There were also cigarette butts in cans on both balconies, as well as a few little bit of broken glass laying about in the outside area.
Upon reading other reviews were learned that the agents were often reticent about giving the deposit back, so we were kind of on edge before we even settled in. But to their credit, they paid up as soon as we requested it.

The images on booking.com tell a nice story of a nice looking apartment, however this wasn't the case. I was made to pay for my stay before arriving at the apartment, as well as paying a £100 security deposit for damages. Upon arrival, I was disappointed to learn that the apartments are nothing like the photos. Several damaged items, stained carpets, and a strong smell of smoke let down the property. It has also been 16 days since I checked out and I have still not received my security deposit; a matter which I am escalating through booking.com, and am close to filing it as fraud. The host is no longer responding to my Whatsapp messages, after verbally telling me before my stay that I'd receive the refund within 72 hours of departure. Extremely disappointing and disheartened to know that there are people out there who scam hard working individuals who are just looking for a nice weekend away in Belfast. I wouldn't recommend staying here by any means.

- Murga (8/5): - nice, clean, cozy apartment I didn't know I needed to pay a deposit, and I hadn't paid it yet. They wouldn't give me the keys. After I paid the deposit, I waited a long time for a text message with the password to the key box. It's good we had a car, but having people without a vehicle waiting in the rain for a text message with the code to the key box isn't ideal. I only heard about the deposit after I'd booked the room.

First of all, you’re required to pay a £100 damages/smoking deposit via bank transfer, and the stay itself is paid through Booking.com (DO NOT PAY VIA BANK TRANSFER). I’ve already requested a refund through booking.
When we arrived, the entire corridor smelled strongly of weed. In the apartment, the balcony door had been left open because the living room reeked of cigarette smoke, and the blinds were damaged.
The worst part came in the middle of the night. My girlfriend woke me up saying she was getting bitten. When we turned the light on, we found bed bugs crawling around the bed. At 2 a.m., we immediately left the property and contacted Booking.com to report everything.

bly clean and spacious It was stressful to get access to the apartment. When I arrived there, I had to ring and was contacted on WhattsApp and a security deposit was demanded before access ouuld be granted. Eventually, after having paid (it felt like being extorted) a security deposit of €125, I was given the access code via WhattsApp.At the time, I didn't give my IBAN to facilitate return of the security deposit because, I had genuine concerns that I was being scammed. I left the apartment in clean condition. During the following week, I sent my IBAN and asked for return of my deposit. I still haven't received my deposit or a reason for non refund despite requesting either. The property itself was reasonably good but the issue around the deposit spoiled my experience and I would caution against staying there because of it.
Would it be possible for booking.com to intervene in relation to refund of the deposit please?

It smelt of smoke and the room was smashed to bits and on the last day realised the mattress was upside down so turned it round to find it dirty and found bed bugs. On top of this they ask for £100 😂 a room like this shouldn’t have a deposit and if it does it shouldn’t be through a WhatsApp message asking for bank details very shady way of doing things. When we did arrive at the property a long and protracted telephone conversation in a busy corridor was necessary to obtain key codes to open the key box to enter the apartment.

Next room people kept going out and coming back in till 4.30am with loud noises. We couldnt sleep. So we booked another place for the second day and checked out early after the first night. Had to carry bags to the 4th floor, no lift available. No parking as well to unload, had to carry luggages across the road.

I even tried booking.com and they couldn’t get a response either so I spent the night on the floor of my husbands hospital room. I then tried to contact ‘Dream’ apartments the following day but permanently engaged. Then surprise I got a message telling me key code, no apology though. On entering the property there was a window open in the bathroom which was covered with bird excrement. The fan in the bathroom was very noisy and permanently on. The tv didn’t work as it needed tuning in and when you opened the curtains everyone walking past could see in. I didn’t stay. I contacted Dream apartments management twice and are still waiting for a response some two months later! No customer care whatsoever! 😡 Nothing! See above!

Dirty marks on walls, greasy marks on kitchen area walls, dust around skirting and picture frames, grime around corners of shower, broken shower head, rips on chair and sofa, really dirty remote control, door handle on front door was loose. In addition, there was an overwhelming smell of cannabis in the front corridor when we arrived (which I reported) and one bedroom smelled like tobacco (a smell which seemed to come from downstairs). No toilet roll provided. I reported this when we arrived, but none was brought to the apartment at any point. The carpeting in the corridors in the flat and outside the flat were the dirtiest I have ever seen anywhere. This place was horrible.

- Orlaith (3/5): Never staying again - The location Initially bring told I had to send id and £100 before I could even get the code for access..The appointment was not clean at all, the noise from the neighbours was ridiculous that my partner was unable to sleep..when the same noise was starting the next evening I made contact with the company who ignored my message..we had to sleep in the living room due to the noise, the sofa bed was broken and disgusting, therefore we had to bring in the mattress to sleep on...will never be back or recommend dream apartments

One of the rooms did smell quite bad but if you propped the door open it went away.
Furniture and kitchen appliances are worn but this is normal with time.

Couldn’t open the balcony door which was disappointing especially because it was such a hot summers day. Contacted staff who said it should be open but it definitely wasn’t. Apart from this though great stay.

- Simone (1/5): DON'T BOOK IN THIS STRUCTURE, THE REVIEWS SUCK, I NEVER ANSWER YOU ON THE PHONE OR ON THE BOOKING CHAT. - Nothing, also because we booked about 4 months ago and when we arrived they told us that there was no reservation, despite the fact that during the day of arrival they wrote to us on booking accepting check-in time and asking us in advance for the photo of the documents to do the latter. In addition, they gave different versions to us and to Booking.com or telling us that they were renovating and to Booking.com that the hotel was overbooked What didn't I like? EVERYTHING, because they have created a huge inconvenience for us. We arrived at 8 pm and stayed outside in front of the hotel until 9:30 pm to look for a solution with Booking.com, which found us another accommodation.

- Carmel (1/5): Do NOT stay here - disgusting! - The location, near the university was good. The property was filthy dirty, black mould in bathroom, burn holes throughout carpet, holes in the walls, broken and damaged furniture and the whole place stank of cigarettes. Really unpleasant. When I contacted the company there were unhelpful and did nothing to rectify the situation.
- Michaela (6/5): - Good location Bad smell from bathroom very damp smell as there is no windows are ventilation and also didn’t receive my full security deposit back after the 72 hours left me short and texted company about it and said they are sorting it it’s been a week since they said that and didn’t fix the amought or didn’t contact me again very disappointing

- Sara (1/5): Horrendous!! Filthy! Cancelled, reservation immediately after seeing accommodation was filthy!! - Arrived at the property after receiving a confirmation phone call only 3 hours prior. Took 30mins to get in contact with some type of reception only to be advised that our room was unavailable and that we were being transferred to their sister property "Obel". Once arrived at Obel we had to then pay for parking with Cash as well as the room deposit, only to then be told there is only one key fob for the garage for all guests and need to pick up and return to office each time.
Upon entering the property, the room smelt musty, was extremely dusty and identified that the beds have no mattress or pillow protectors and are covered in stains. Cancelled reservation immediately and left.
