• ALAIN (10/5): Séjour exceptionnel - Endroit exceptionnel , superbe établissement très bien situé. Belle chambre spacieuse avec vue sur les monts enneigés. Dîner et petit déjeuner copieux et excellents . Personnel très compétent et sympathique.. Le seul petit hic est au niveau de la taxe pour le chien. Même si c'est un grand chien , je trouve que le montant de 50 francs suisse est excessif, même s'il inclus le transport aller retour en téléphérique .

• Denise (10/5): Treat yourself to a stay here, you really won’t regret it. - An amazing stay. We arrived to crystal clear skies and snow capped mountains, in time to watch the sun set. After a gorgeous meal in the Queen Victoria restaurant, we awoke the next day to a white out - snow had descended! But nothing stops the Swiss from operating in the snow, so all cable cars etc were running as normal. A thoroughly different, and truly magnificent stay, would highly recommend. nothing

• MAMORU (10/5): 山頂の楽園！！ - いや～超最高です。宿泊前にホテルから交通手段についてアドバイスがあり、登山電車の予約をしてくださいました。予定より早く駅に着くと、早い電車に変更してくれ、ホテル宿泊者は優先乗車で、景色が良く見える席に案内されました。最初からテンションが上がります。もちろん急こう配の素晴らしい景色です。山頂の駅に到着すると、一般の方とは別にエレベーターに案内されます。素晴らしい対応です。スタッフも素晴らしくチェックインもスムーズです。部屋も広くて景色が良くて言うことはありません。山頂のハイキングコースを案内されたので歩いて行ってみました。30分とのことでしたが、高山植物を見て写真を撮りながら歩くと1時間弱はかかります。山頂は雲がかかっていて下の景色は見えませんでしたが、山頂付近には多くのアイベックスが草を食べているところに出くわしてビックリしました！人を見ても逃げません。ホテル近くのハイキングコースは一応全部歩きました。日の入りに最適なコース、日の出に最適なコースを日没時間、日の出時間と一緒に教えていただけるので、不安はありません。夕食は素敵なホテルのレストランでいただきました。とても美味しかったです。私は、デザートのチーズ盛り合わせとポルトワインがとても気に入りました。朝食ももちろんおいしかったです。地上が暑かったので、山頂の涼しさは格別でした。超お勧めです。 完璧なので何もありません。

The staff are kind and supportive The price ( expensive) did not include the ticket to get from Alpenchtad( the base of the hotel) to the reception area( they did ask me at the ticket office ,if the hotel has included the ticket for me or if they gave me discount which they didn’t) .. there is no bell boy to help with luggage. The Restaurant has limited food options.

• Hudson (10/5): - Hiking up to one of the lookouts was a once in a lifetime experience. We had perfect weather and we did the hike after the transport down the mountain closed. We ended up being the only ones at the top. It was magnificent. Beyond beautiful. The dinner was extraordinary and being able to stay at the top of the mountain was just incredible. One of the most unforgettable experiences of our lives. We got squashed in for the CogWheel journey up the mountain. But that wasn't the fault of the hotel. Also, we were very lucky with the weather. We met people who had been earlier in the week and it was cloudy. Once again the hotel can't help that but definitely something to keep in mind.

• Yuka (9/5): 一生に一度の素晴らしい景色を見られる宿 - 　高山列車の眺めが良い席に通してくれ、素晴らしいビューを堪能できました。受付のスタッフが登山ルートを教えてくれ、日の出、日の入り、満天の星空に感動しました。息を呑む景色でした。登山と言っても、未経験の人でも可能なトレッキングのようなものです。 　昼間は宿泊客以外の人たちで大賑わいなので、私たちは昼は寝て、朝晩に活動していました。 　スタッフのサービスは個人差があります。2泊したのですが、初日のディナーでチーズを頼んだらお皿にてんこ盛りのチーズがのって来ました。２日目はゆっくりトレーから選ばせてくれました。朝食は10時ぴったりに料理は下げられます。 　帰りの高山列車のチケットを受付に前日に予約しに行ったら、予約は必要ないしチケットは無料と言われたのに、当日行ったら予約しないといけないと違うスタッフから言われチケット代を支払いました。その違いがわかりません。

• Gustafsson (10/5): Phenomenal experience I will remember forever!! - Honestly from start to finish our stay was excellent! We had questions months before our trip and the staff was very helpful and quick to respond. We stayed for two nights which I would recommend to anyone. It's historical and at the top of Mt Pilatus so its the only thing up there other than trails. You can only reach the hotel via cogwheel or gondola. We took the gondola up and cogwheel down, recommend to do both. Staff is superb and they all spoiled us as they spoke English. Not only did we have breakfast but we also had a 4 course dinner included. There were several menu options, I am pescatarian but often eat vegan and I had choices. The facility is very dog friendly which we LOVED. The mountain can get crowded during the day as hikers and tourists come up to visit. Many people I spoke with didn't even know you could stay up there. When the day tourists leave for the evening it is so peaceful. I haven't spoken about the views, all I can tell you is I teared up several different times with the pure beauty that was surrounding us. We were Blessed to have two good days where we could see. Obviously there is no guarantee with weather. There are a few webcams on their site which I recommend. Not a huge hiker but I did do the Dragon Trail (not scary!), another one that is a short climb up where you can watch the sunset but it was behind clouds that day and the last one that I'm not sure of the name but may be the Flower Trail (?). I know it eventually went to the church. You do take these trails at your own risk but the views are spectacular if you are one up for that adventure. There is not place here but I did video part of my hike that I will share a link to via google photos for anyone interested or curious. Have attached a few photos that I hope will help. We have recommended to several of our friends and I will tell you what I told them....GO, just do it and stay. It is well worth it! Hike link: https://photos.app.goo. Once all non hotel guest left the summit at around 17:30, the top was left open to hotel guests to enjoy. The suite was beautiful offering fantastic views of the mountains in the distance. A truly spectacular hotel in a unique location. Once in a lifetime experience. I can only imagine what it would be like in the winter. Beware of the additional cost to reach the hotel. Unless you are an experienced mountaineer, it’s only accessible by train or cable car. This round trip is not cheap.

Evening was choice from a set menu but beautifully served and absolutely delicious! Buffet breakfast had an excellent selection to choose from. Beds very comfortable and rooms well appointed. Can’t predict the weather! Did get a bit of clearer sky where view was fantastic. Sunset and sunrise cloudy and wet on our nights stay but still had a great time.

• Ying (10/5): Unforgettable Stay with breathtaking views - We stayed for two nights and got to climbed the peaks and see alps in the distance which was breathtaking! The half board option is really ideal for us and helped us to secure nice table and food choice. They also provide us free cable or cogwheels tickets for the 2nd day that allowed us to decent to Kriens and Lucerne. We would highly recommended this place to stay for at least two nights if you love mountains and nature. The staffs are thoughtful and friendly. Nothing, it was a wonderful stay!

• Derek (10/5): Spectacular - 5 star Hotel. Spectacular views everywhere. 5 star dining. Was there 32 years ago, and they have made substantial upgrades. Will definitely return to do some more serious day hikes. Bring your walking poles and hiking footwear, and enjoy a beer on the terrace afterwards with the best views in the world
