Mike (8/5): Comfortable Hostel with a Really Friendly Owner - Nice quiet peaceful location in a nice little town. We stayed in the little individual units with our own restroom and shower which were all in the new unit of the building. It was obviously very new and had a beautiful new industrial kitchen set up. Owner was friendly, kind and played guitar and sang. Maybe some newer furniture in the common area.

Leckeres Frühstück mit selbst gemachter Marmelade. Dass das Hostel auch ein Kulturzentrum ist, für verschiedene kulturelle Veranstaltungen. Sehr günstiges Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis auf meiner Reise, dass günstigste Hostel und sogar mit Frühstück!

Véronique (4/5): Une auberge de jeunesse décalée - Rien Tout. Il s'agit d'un grand hangard tansformé en auberge de jeunesse complètement décalée, limite destroy, les volumes sont très grands avec un tas de bric à brac partout, des canapés défoncés. Les murs et plafond de notre chambre étaient peints en noir et un mur peint d'un dessin style fantasy très oppressant. Le petit-déjeuner est très restreint et servi à la bonne franquette et il faut payer pour prendre un café et un thé. Ce genre d'établissement n'est pas mon trip. Le prix est très cher pour une auberge de jeunesse.

Michael (8/5): Ich habe es wieder getan und würde die Unterkunft wieder buchen!! - Siehe Bewertung vom 17.5.2025 -18.5.2025 Neuer Bereich total Klasse gemacht. Es ist alles geblieben wie zum Vorjahr!! Dort zu sein,ist immer verbunden Gesprächspartner zu finden.Ist als allein Reisender eine total schöne Geschichte. Leider der Weite Weg zum Frezzers. Ich wollte unbedingt dort nochmal Übernachten,also auf die Zähne beißen. Im Zimmer fande ich die Temperatur etwas zu niedrig.

Cucine molto fornite e spazi in comune ampi e curati. Asciugamani non inclusi nel prezzo ma da prendere a parte alla reception…

Bruno (10/5): - This hostel has a soul that is hard to find elsewhere. It's located in one of Iceland's smallest towns, close to all the main natural wonders of the area. The owner, Kari, is a wonderful person; stopping to chat with him is a real treat. He has an incredible life story to share and can give great advice on local spots and Iceland in general. If I ever return, it will definitely be to see him again.
Meike (8/5): - Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer mit eigenem Bad. Das Zimmer hat eine angenehme Größe und ist scheint relativ neu renoviert worden zu sein. Alles sehr clean gehalten und sauber. Bett war bequem. Die Gemeinschaftsküche war auf den ersten Blick gut ausgestattet. Es ist etwas hellhörig. Die Zimmer schließen direkt an den Küchenbereich an und da ist entsprechend ein wenig Trubel, aber alles noch im Rahmen.

Miyuki (5/5): - リビングはとても広々しており、スピーカーやCD、カードゲームなど、滞在中楽しめるようなものが充実していました。キッチンは調理器具がしっかり揃っていたので、キャンピングカーで自炊しながら旅をしている私たちにはぴったりでした。冷蔵庫もありがたかったです。オンラインチェックインの後、メールで4桁のナンバーキーが送られてきたのですが、実際は玄関のキーは壊れており、誰でも勝手に入れてしまう状態でした。訪れた時期が真冬で、夏に比べてお客が少ないせいか、スタッフは1人も常駐しておらず、ホステル自体が広いせいで少し寂しい感じがしました。また、キャンピングカーで若い団体客が来たのですが、ベッドは使わず車中泊をしていたものの、靴のまま中に上がったり、トイレやシャワーをグループ全員で占領したり、話し声もうるさかったので、注意するスタッフもいないためにとても不愉快な思いをしました。

Francesco (9/5): - Ostello spazioso e molto giovanile. La sala comune è immensa e ci sono strumenti musicali, giochi in scatola e tanto altro. Eravamo praticamente gli unici, essendo periodo invernale, avevamo bagni e due cucine a disposizione. Una parte è nuova e molto bella. Davvero un'ottima struttu Nell'ala nuova faceva un po' freddo, perché probabilmente è ancora work in progress.

Rachel (9/5): Loved it and would stay again! - Quirky place that had so many things to love. Room was simple but cosy and kitchens well equipped as well as communal areas. It was super quiet when we were there which was a shame but we still loved it! The table football was a hit with the kids! X Consumables on sale were very expensive

Clean showers and room, kitchen sufficiently equipped for light dinner and breakfast. Comfy beds, spacious rooms. Very spacious and comfy common room.

Martina (10/5): - Vzhľadom na cenu, všetko bolo super. Izba bola zariadená jednoducho. Omylom si zarezervovala zmiešanú izbu, personál mi ponúkol zmenu za ženskú izbu. Ľahko to nájdete. Vybavená kuchyňa. Slúži to aj ako kultúrne centrum. Sú tam dve veľké spoločenské miestnosti.

A temperatura da água do duche não é regulável. Não faz sentido as toalhas não estarem incluídas no preço. O café disponível já sabia um pouco mal. A roupa de cama tinha um ar usado, desgastado.

Maria Teresa (1/5): - La ubicación El peor hostel de Islandia con diferencia. Se reservo una habitación con baño privado que no respetaron, esto puede deberse un error. Pedí cambiar la habitación me cobraron 30€ más en total pague 150€ por una habitación que cuesta 100€. Cobran por absolutamente todo. Y está todo bastante sucio. El peor hostel de Islandia con diferencia.

Frédéric (6/5): Atypique mais bruyant - Les espaces communs et en particulier le salon sont accueillants et spacieux, atypiques par rapport aux autres hôtels que nous avons visités auparavant Il y a un problème de bruit dans les "anciennes" chambres : on entend tout ce qui se passe dans la cuisine, ainsi que la porte d'entrée et celle de la cuisine qui claquent régulièrement. Cela genre beaucoup de bruit
Jorge Luis (6/5): Cosas por mejorar - Las habitaciones con baño privado están casi a estrenar, todo muy nuevo. Comedor muy amplio y una zona bar muy animada. Los chavales que trabajan allí eran simpáticos. En Islandia, país con agua caliente casi ilimitada, deciden usar en este alojamiento depósitos eléctricos para calentar el agua de las habitaciones con baño privado. Y como la primera persona se de una ducha un poco larga, el siguiente tiene que esperar varias horas para poder disponer de agua caliente. Así que si encima llegas tarde, o no te puedes duchar, o te acabas duchando con agua fría (fue mi caso). La calefacción era un radiador eléctrico al que le tenían capado el termostato a 20º, y por algún motivo no calentaba, incluso haciendo mucho menos de 20 grados en la habitación. Al final, de madrugada se puso a funcionar, imagino que estaba estropeado. Para ambos problemas me puse en contacto con el alojamiento (a esa hora ya no había nadie en la recepción), y la única solución que me daban para la ducha era que me esperase (llevaba unas 2 horas esperando y el agua seguía saliendo fría) y para la calefacción me aseguraba que funcionaba bien, a pesar de decirle que el radiador estaba frio y en la habitación hacía frio. La cama estaba muy coja, y ni calzándola se arreglaba, cada vez que se movía alguno de los dos se balanceaba la cama entera, además de hacer mucho ruido. No corresponde con el precio que pagué (ha sido el segundo alojamiento más caro de todo el viaje).
