Guest Reviews
- Donna (8/5): - An full blown dude ranch with lots of activities to do in a historical setting.
- Scott (9/5): Unexpected culinary success. History was off the chart. Friendly staff. - The food was outstanding, the staff was nice and friendly and talkative and helpful. The only thing I uncomfortable was the bed (too soft) and pillows (too think, and only one for each bedmate--I will bring my own next time and that will fix the problem).
- Manting (10/5): A+++ for hospitality!! - The staff members were fantastic! They really made us feel welcome and comfortable. An adorable furry little cat ran into our room the first night and cuddled with us to sleep. That was a huge plus point for me! The wranglers were fantastic and the horses were very nice! The staff generally tried to plan activities according to each guest's schedule and preference - I thought that was awesome. It was hard to get to if you don't drive like us! Shuttle services cost $300 one-way. There was unfortunately only one loping trail. Plenty of walking trails though!
- patricia (10/5): - A wonderful ranch. Totally peaceful setting. Great staff and food was delicious. Horseback ride to beautiful scenery. Loved out themed "John Wayne" suite. A very laid backed ranch for anyone looking to totally unwind. Great cantina and beautiful sitting areas. Just all around wonderful stay!!
- Christine (7/5): Relaxing stay, nice staff and if the weather had been better it would have been more enjoy to be outside more. - Historic, quiet, peaceful. Comfortable bed, lovely staff. Floors get dirty fast, Guest rooms need brooms to tidy up. Bring your own pillow for comfortable sleeping.
- Eileen (10/5): I’ll be back! - This felt like a real ranch vacation in a beautiful setting. The food is great, the rooms are gorgeous and the people are absolutely lovely from kitchen through to management.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Staff welcoming and interactive to our needs. Once they saw we were interested in the history of the ranch they related facts and fun for us.
- Michael (10/5): Drop dead fabulous! - This place is in a class by itself. Such an interesting area, a very unique hotel setting,
and wonderful staff and over the top food.
- larry (6/5): Nice, Overpriced - We have stayed here several times in the past and generally like it. This stay differed in that the dinner and overall experience was overpriced. (Expensive dinner was cut up sausage mixed with veggies.) In fairness I am not a horse person and My educated guess is that this aspect would be very positive.
