Guest Reviews
- Hind (10/5): - Great location and good service , clean easy for business
- Ala (10/5): - Overall exceeded my expectation
- Julie (8/5): - Room was clean and staff were helpful, the room was a bit small but serviceable. The room itself was quite rundown, there were rips in the sofa leather and the ceiling tile above the shower was partially hanging down. Also the shower door was not flush with the floor and the entire bathroom was flooded with water after my first shower. After that I used the handheld and kept it as far from the doors as possible. Also no fridge was kind of inconvenient.
Not a lot of places to eat around the area, except for a fantastic bakery across from the metro station access. The metro was very close, the overland tram is also literally steps from the door.
The aircon didn’t seem to work so I had to leave the window cracked during the day. Quite noisy street outside. And the pillows were way too soft it was like sleeping with nothing under my head.
Overall it was an ok place but doesn’t deserve its 4 star hotel rating. It’s a 3 at most
- Lynn (6/5): - Good in parts, nice clean hotel but more aesthetic over substance- apart from the check in reception staff everyone has been to the school of indifference- no smiles or a friendly bonjour!
Air con only blows hot and the periphique very noisy with the window open. Housekeeping changed the towels although not required but failed to top up the toilet roll - managed to get through but only down to a tissue supply in the bathroom!!
We had a coffee machine but when we asked for more capsules were told the rooms don’t have machines in them!
On our last night there was a noise emitted every minute in the room ?from the air con although turned off from about 4.30am. I let the reception team know on check out so hopefully will be fixed for the next guests.
Overall a very average stay.
- Husein (10/5): - The hotel is a boutique hotel and very good from a nearby Metro station. Good breakfast, good lounge facilities.
- Valerie (10/5): - Great stay, thanks to the staf Hugo, Oscar and Moroccan lady from F&B.
- Ciara (8/5): - Some of the staff specially during nights were rude
- Chris (4/5): - Aircon didn’t work, reception desk was not attended so couldn’t get any action for the non working aircon. Made for very stuffy hot nights.
- Dongmei (10/5): - Great location! Great breakfast! Nice staffs !
- amitkumar (2/5): - we booked but never stayed due to cancel of our flight and they were not refunded for our booking. this is not our fault we can’t get another fight, we got flight after two days. we have to reschedule our vacation.
- Linda (10/5): - This property was overall great! Loved that it had a snack bar section that provided both a quick breakfast and lunch to grab and go. Amanda, thank you for the warm welcomes and list of recommendations you gave me and my husband to do and see. It was extremely thoughtful and we are grateful for the experience you put together for us.
Rooms was great, clean and very well ventilated for these hot summer days. Highly recommend to stay here if you don’t mind being just a short drive away from the main city centers!
- Nigel (10/5): - Convenient for purpise of trip, within walking distance of, metro and bus stops, places chosen to eat etc.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. I arrived very early in the morning (5am) after a long drive. I hadn't found an open service station with toilet that I was comfortable using per plan to stop fir a break and a nap so needed to use toilet. I was too early to disturb the people I was visiting so the hotel was the only option. The receptionist, after checking I was a genuine hotel client, though not due to check in until later, nevertheless allowed me to use the toilet in the guest lounge andwas very frirndly, answering my questons about street parking etc. All of my interactions with the staff were very pleasant - friendly and very focused on making the stay in their hotel pleasant. Extremely handy for (adjacent), Aquaboulevard centre.
- MARIO (10/5): - I recommand
- Leonarda (2/5): - Limited services. No ref and no microwave inside the room
- Carol (10/5): - The availability of a comfortable club area that was available and beautiful , inside of the hotel.. The community was very friendly and had all the amenities. Transportation was accessible. The hotel met all our needs.Definitely on my recommended list and return..
- IMELDA (10/5): - I liked the snack bar and it’s convenience
- finola (10/5): - Lovely place, modern, clean and quiet. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Short taxi or metro from the sights.
- Aaliyah (10/5): - Helpful staff
- Bin (10/5): - New to this area. Very nice
- ahmed (2/5): - if i can do -1000 its soo dirty and room like prison. staff no good .i lost all my $ without staying 1min .its scam hotel expedia got take it down from website. never ever go there
- phillip (10/5): - Loved this hotel the rooms are spacious and very clean. Reception was so nice and they have a great full breakfast. Great location with a tram around the corner.
- Tori (8/5): - Great hospitality, the crew was so kind and helpful. Amenities were great too- we had an evening happy hour every night that was a nice touch and the rooms were comfortable. Only issue is that the shower drains (for multiple rooms) weren’t the best so water would drain into the broader bathroom, soaking the entire floor, which was inconvenient.
- Peiji (4/5): - AC did not work and had to move rooms. 2nd room was also terrible ac
- Gurinder (2/5): - We had to change 3 rooms in our two days stay. They should make a list of all the issues that they have in their rooms. Nobody likes to move their rooms 3 times with all their stuff in a 2 day stay.
- Anastasia (10/5): - Loved the room — very modern. I also appreciated how close they were to food, the metro, etc.
- George (4/5): - Staff was great but hotel was substandard. Dirty carpets in the hallway. A hand sanitizer that didn't work during my 4 day stay. Carpets in the bedroom were worn and vinyl headboard delaminated. Yikes! Hotel had cement ceilings and walls which made temp control difficult. Next time in Paris, I won't stay there.
- Rohit (6/5): - Very helpful and was able to request some packages be held. Unfortunately the lounge was very disappointing, mostly had nothing to eat or drink in the evenings. However there is a nice chess set. Rooms were on the small side but OK. Might return.
- Lori (10/5): - This is a great hotel, close to Metro and bus service. Away from the noise and tourist areas, but close enough to enjoy everything about Paris. The staff are great. We would stay again. Thanks!
- Jan (10/5): Excellent Stay - Our stay at OKKO was excellent. The room was beautifully designed, the bed was very comfortable and the staff were exceptionally helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel.
- Marie-Line (10/5): Nous recommandons! - Seul désagrément : les petites mouches près des choses à manger… sinon tout était absolument parfait!
- Jonathan (10/5): Really nice nice with wonderful staff - Amazing homely hotel, the service makes it very special, you feel like you are at home, Jerome the receptionist is always very attentive & helpful and the whole team at the restaurant the lady who works there in the evening is really lovely, remembered the name of our daughter. Highly recomand for business or pleasure, very well located , easy access to metro and buses. Okko hotel doesn’t disappoint but here the staff really makes it very special, we will come back here because of the wonderful service we received. The hotel is also very clean.
- Marc (8/5): It was pretty good.. - This hotel felt very luxurious and clean. It has an amazing lounge that has complementary drinks and snacks.
However, there are some things that bothered me, perhaps this is because I am used to things in the U.S. This hotel did not provide face cloths (though I admit I did not request them, so I don't know if they're available). The hotel does not have ironing in the room but said it was in ANOTHER part of the hotel. Most alarming to me is there was NO fridge and NO microwave in the room. In addition, there was NO microwave available in the ENTIRE hotel. That's awful. Other than that, it was a nice experience.
- Tia (4/5): - My stay started off rocky at the Okko Hotel. It certainly was not all bad once I was adjusted. Jerome at the front desk was amazing and accommodated me greatly. My first room was right above a very loud construction site and the room phone was not working to contact the front desk. One of the hotel staff walked in on me getting ready as I couldn't hear him knocking because the construction was THAT loud. I was so embarrassed but stayed calm :( The headboard of the bed was peeling badly and there was no hot water for the shower for the first 2 nights. I tried to request a new room after the first night and received no follow up. I hated to have to complain but was traveling solo for work and needed sleep and was being woken up as early as 7am with hard drilling noises. I was finally offered a new room and Jerome kindly showed me 2 new options. I chose a slightly smaller room as the larger one didn't have the option to open the windows. Once I got settled in my second room things were much better. There was still noise from construction but at that point I decided to just leave out super early to avoid it. I in no way want to bash this business as it was fairly clean and had great elevator access. I think its great for customers that need a place to throw their stuff down and hit the town. If you're looking for something with a bit of charm I'd keep looking though. Thanks again to the front desk staff that helped. I'd give it a 3.8 best
- Kevin (8/5): - Good property. Not great at providing hypo-allergenic pillows but the staff are empathetic. Options for walk to dinning are decent.
- Ronn (6/5): - Although bathrooms and beds were clean, the carpets are a short nylon type and are badly stained and dirty. I arrived 10.30pm and the carpets in corridors were dirty, but these were hoovered in the morning and not too bad. Rooms were very quiet, even with a busy road outside there was no traffic noise. Heating was difficult to control, old fashioned manual controllers with no temperature measurement. Free food and drink allday in "club" cafe was good. Breakfast was good, evening meals ok but limited choice. Staff very friendly.
- sheila (8/5): - The staff were very friendly. They offer free snacks and refreshments throughout our stay. It's walking distance to the train station.
- Frankie (10/5): - Property was clean. Had a gym for us to use and a sauna, which unfortunately wasn’t working during our stay. The free snacks and hot drinks available 24/7 were a great addition included in the price. The best thing about our stay was the friendly staff, including reception and cleaning staff. We want to epically thank Hugo who was welcoming and very helpful.
- Chiamaka (6/5): - Pros: Friendly staff. Convenient location near a train station. Free snacks.
Cons: Rooms are a bit dark because there aren’t many lights and all the windows in the rooms have white linens inside of them that covers the glass. You’ll open the curtains expecting to see a view of the outside environment, but instead all you see a white linen that covers the inside glass which causes light to barely come in from the window. Also, the showers are not well designed. There is no shower basin and so water ends up flowing from under the shower glass and into the toilet/sink area when you shower. There is also not a proper closet area. There is a make shift area with a curtain and some shelves and hangers to store clothes, but it is quite small.
- Paulo (10/5): - Modern rooms, amazing club room with snacks. I’m going to definitely come back.
- Jayanand (8/5): - The room was nice and the staff did really great at cleaning and providing new towels. Only quip I had was the constant checking on if someone had paid for the breakfast. My first day I had gotten off a long flight and some courtesy would have been so appreciated. I understand it's a business but it's food that will likely be thrown out if not eaten and it's food! 😂
- Matthew (8/5): Mostly Great - Great and friendly staff. Had move rooms because of an electrical issue.
- Jasper Ryan (10/5): - I would come back in a heartbeat!!!
- Ramana (10/5): - .
- Curtis (8/5): - Buffet awesome. Staff helpful to a fault
- Curtis (8/5): - Good free breakfast. No stores nearby for snacks or tobacco etc
- Curtis (8/5): - Nice people. Ryan at the front desk was extremely helpful
- Mandeep (10/5): - We were given a disabled room. Not sure why . I don’t think they should do that. Also the pillows and duvets were very nice and comfortable and would love to buy some for home. I slept really well that night.
- Duncan (8/5): Ideal location for our Paris trip - This was a good choice for our stay, and we particularly liked the open lounge. We went to the centre and the nearby Arena for the Paralympics. Metro very convenient.
- David Marquez (10/5): - Great experience
- Nancy Janeth Vargas (10/5): - Thank you!
- Carlos (6/5): - The hotel used be good when was open. Now the furniture has its wear and tear. The back of the bed is pealing and part are coming off.
- Michael Alan (8/5): - Overall our 9 day stay was great. Rooms are small compared to American hotels but still comfortable. Staff we're great and very friendly and helpful. Location is within walking distance to restaurants and public transportation.
- Sara (8/5): - We stayed here for a few nights starting the day of closing ceremonies for the olympics. Everything was great, bathroom was a little weird as you could see in if you were sitting in the bed. But overall the hotel was great, loved that they supplied a water filling station on each floor. It was about a 15-20 minute walk to Eiffel Tower.
- Lindsay (10/5): - The accommodations were amazing and especially the staff!
- Darren (8/5): - Very European. No closet. Tiny desk. Acceptable for solo business travel. Got yelled at by the cleaning lady because I was still in the room showering without putting out the do not disturb sign. She didn't bother to knock. Bit of a hassle getting checked out with an incorrect dry cleaning bill.
- Will (10/5): A lovely hotel experience - Quirky hotel, well located, with good transport links.
The staff was friendly and helpful, and they spoke multiple languages.
Check-in was painless and the room was large enough for one, but probably a little small for 2 people. Unfortunately, the shower door does not stop water from going everywhere in the bathroom, but it's a minor irritation.
It has a great lounge area, and it makes a nice change to grab water, tea, coffee and a biscuit knowing that it's all part of the service.
Breakfast could be described as minimalist, but it actually covers most needs.
Fabulous sauns, very hot and relaxing, attached to the gym area on the 1st floor.
Overall, it was an excellent stay.
- Hafiz (8/5): - Nice hotel overall - good breakfast. The rooms design could be better. Also having the option to control air conditioning would be great as it was too hot in the room during the summer
- Shampod (10/5): Clean and conformable - The location of the hotel was great. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The elevator is larger then most of the hotel in Paris. Rooms are large enough with clean beautiful bathroom and toilets.
- Jill (8/5): - The hotel rooms have a modern, brutalist feel with unique bathrooms and prides itself on sustainable options for toiletries and coconut fibre mattresses.
The 'club' downstairs has unlimited snacks and hot drinks for you to help yourself to at any time. It was quite a nice space and the staff in this area were helpful and friendly. There were some flies and fruitflies which hadn't been dealt with during my stay around the uncovered food which was off-putting. The snacks on offer were tasty and a nice touch. Seating was ample and never felt crowded.
The reception staff could have been friendlier and more enthusiastic. There was no acknowledgement for the trip's reason despite this being added to the guest notes.
The area is not interesting or attractive but it felt safe and had good transport links. Perfect if you are just using it as a base to explore the city.
- Dale (10/5): Amazing Staff - The staff were amazing. It was our honeymoon and they upgraded our room for free for a view of the Eiffel Tower!
- Jiuzhou (10/5): - Excellent
- SALVACION (10/5): - Friendly and helpful staff , it’s clean
- Evelyn (10/5): - Great service
- Jamai (8/5): - The staff was great! There were some issues with room air conditioning and my key card had to be reactivated daily to use the elevators ( but each time there was an issue the staff addressed them promptly and were always very kind).
- Prerna Vishal (8/5): - Overall, we had a great stay at Okko! It is a little far from the main tourist attractions but in a generally safe area! I would stay again.
- Martin (8/5): - Perfect for visiting a nearby trade show. Walkable and great transport links when needed.
- Imran (10/5): Working weekends in Paris , totally relaxing - Quite a basic hotel, but once you realise you can simply request what ever you need from the concierge it all becomes a bit easier.
The concierge are fantastic they are well spoken and always ready to help , they uplifted the entire experience.
The lounge and free teas and coffees are perfect for anyone looking for a chilled working break, this feature alone brought the hotel to
Life. It’s open 24/7
- david (2/5): Avoid Okko at All Costs - I stay in hotels 200 nights a year which I have done for 20+ years so I know it takes a lot to be in the hotel business. However, I have never been in a hotel room that was hotter in my life. The windows are bolted in, the HAC system only puts out heat, there is no 'fan only' option and the front desk was unable to locate a portable fan. At breakfast, literally every guest was complaining about what a miserable night it was! And it was March with slightly above normal temperatures of 60F/15C. I can't image what it would be if it were really hot outside.
In short, it was like trying to sleep in a sauna, with a still, stifling air of 80F/26C. When I nicely approached the front desk various times, all I got was excuses, not solutions. It ranged from the HAC system either is on 'winter or summer' mode (and the company can't come and fix it for three days) to the government won't let us open the windows, to 'all our fans are already given out as many guests are complaining', etc. The only thing that was offered was the name of a house goods store where I can see if they sell portable fans where I found out later no one speaks English (notice, they didn't offer to go buy fans themselves).
I would expect management to respond to this review with more 'it is not our fault' excuses, but that is just unacceptable. Avoid this place, not just for the sauna rooms, but more so because of the poor management response.
- Kevin (8/5): - Convenient for those attending Vinexposium but not much in terms of dining that is walkable. Somewhat disconnected from the 'heart' of Paris.
- Tarek (10/5): - Staff are very kind
- Faye (8/5): - Public transportation near by,
- Elias (8/5): - The Hotel is very nice and clean. The staff is very friendly and polite. The only problem was that the AC was turned off because it was winter. The room got hot and it was a little unpleasant to sleep. I think it should be up to the customers to regulate the temperature in their rooms.
- MOJGAN (2/5): Avoid avoid avoid - Worst hotel we ever been, so dated, not clean at all , staff unhelpful and not speaking other languages , restaurants and food are worst too , we have seen mice running around the kitchen while we was eating breakfast.central heating wasn’t working so they give us portable heater.
- Jeffrey (10/5): - Room was comfortable, shower was nice! Lounge was very nice and a good place to do work, although a few more outlets to plug into would've been nice. Breakfast could've had a few more options, but it served the purpose, and having hot drinks and snacks available any time was great! I was in town for a conference at the porte de versailles, and it is scheduled to be there next year again, so I will certainly consider this place to stay and recommend it to others!
- Marcus (2/5): - A really bad hotel in a miserable area. Useless staff, unhelpful. Went to the restaurant 15 minutes prior to closing, not interested in providing dinner, which on reflection was a lucky escape. Grubb room, smelt bad, air con did not work, not even a bottle of water provided, I am not sure what use a nespresso machine is with no capsules, milk or sugar. Gym was tiny, badly equipped and not worth using. Breakfast was the worst of any hotel I have stayed in for years. Really horrible weekend, luckily it was for work. Avoid at all costs!!!
- Tahir (10/5): - It's a nice and quiet place and I enjoyed my stay here. It is also close to the subway so that was another plus. They provide all day coffee, juices and snacks to hotel guests in the cafe. I also liked the minimalist concept with the interior design but felt some simple things as hooks to hang clothes / towels in the washroom. Overall, I would recommend this place.
- Olivier (10/5): - Very pretty well located and had a fair price
- Eva Wai Nam (6/5): - Convenient location and acceptable cleanliness of room. Yet aircon not working very well and staff was not particularly helpful. Reasonable priced in the Parisian standard
- Vadim (10/5): Great value an comfort - Comfortable bed, friendly staff, plentiful breakfast. Solid value. Fitness room disappoints but this is true for most paisian hotels
- Eroica (8/5): Not a true 4 star hotel - This hotel was a true disappointment. I guess I can’t compare the Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile which is a 4 star hotel to this property. I thought they might be comparable because they are both 4 stars. What I didn’t realize was that it was like night & day. The room did not even have a suitcase stand. I was told only the premium rooms have it d/t space. There is not even a fridge in the room which is a very basic amenity. No bathrobes or slippers. For a European hotel, this was surprising, especially the slippers. Any basic amenity you assume you will have will not be available. That I can assure you. I will not return to this hotel.
- Carlos (10/5): - All staff at the hotel was great and excelent. I received special attentions and good recommendations from Ali. Excelent Hotel. Aswesone location, very cozy.
- Christopher (6/5): - Lack of amenities
- Karen (8/5): - Excellent access to Paris public transportation. Cramped room but has all amenities.
- Gwendolyn (6/5): - I am from the USA I traveled alone plus I took the subway. The staff was very friendly
- Arman (10/5): Good value - Overall very modern hotel. Good staff. Location a bit out. Will need 2 busses to get around.
- LUIS (10/5): - Top
- Yier (2/5): - Dirty room. Dirty snack lounge.
- Magali (10/5): - Cute quiet place next to the metro not downtown Paris!
The beds are very comfortable and the glass shower is great! warm water and good pressure!
My highlight is the staff! AMAZING especially Yasser Talbi who made our mornings special at the coffee and breakfast area with little intentions 🙏 and Adda Hamida who kept us company all night even after his work hours to served us champagne and wine and provide us with music to entertain us Thank you we had so much fun singing all night! 🤩👌✨
- jillian (6/5): - The hotel is approximately 30 minutes by underground to centre of Paris . So take this into consideration before booking as the surrounding area of hotel isn’t somewhere you can eat or drink you need to travel . Bedrooms are ok but the monstrosity of a en-suite is like a space ship in your room a very bulky looking thing . Breakfast is limited , hot drinks from a machine , no cereal etc just continental cold meats & cheese. Breakfast finished at 10 but was left out until all gone . Young lad on reception helpful & friendly making recommendations to visit .
- Cameron (8/5): - It was a very nice hotel, I had a single room and really made myself at home
- Michael (10/5): - It's a small boutique type of hotel which is nice and quiet.
- Somnauth (10/5): - Two wonderful staff
Khouloud and Ali made my stay extremely enjoyable
- Asiya (8/5): - Very comfortable bed and quiet room. Great snack lounge with coffee and water bottle filling station. Close to the metro and tram.
- Rebecca (10/5): - Really enjoyed our stay at the Okko, clean, friendly staff and quiet at night. Easily accessible to all transport modes and walkable to the Eiffel Tower (in comfy shoes). Would return to this hotel.
- haidong (10/5): - All as expected...
- Juana (6/5): Deceived - This hotel is far away from most places I wanted to visit in Paris. It was small but clean. My only issue was that we were told we had access to the lounge with drinks and snacks. We would go have coffee, juice, water, and treats. We knew that in the evenings they would charge for food. What we didn’t know was that if we were going to be charged $18 Euros per person for having coffee and pastries in the morning. We were charged when we checked out. They never told us to not go in in the morning or else we would be charged. If I knew that, I would have had a real breakfast somewhere else.
- Wendy (8/5): - The property is not far from center of Paris. It is clean and provide free snack. The charge is reasonable.
- Jeremy (10/5): - Staff and room were great, amenities were great but the phone to the room was dirty for the length of our stay. It happens but I wanted to note that.
- Matt (10/5): - Great staff super nice and helpful. Really nice hotel that is very walkable to public transportation.
