Guest Reviews
- Jay (10/5): - Very friendly owners, very nicely decorated, facilities were comfortable.
- Neil (10/5): - I was in Doolin for a wedding and could not have chosen a nicer place to stay. The hosts, Brian and Dympna, were delightful and engaging, and my room and the dining area were spotlessly clean and comfortable. There were great pubs with traditional Irish music within easy walking distance and a nice place to park on site. A delightful experience all around.
- Anne (10/5): - Our hosts were fantastic, friendly, very helpful with local knowledge, great food, very clean, neat room. Best shower we've had so far ensuite, comfortable bed. Location was fantastic, easily accessible to the Cliffs of Moher, the Doolin Ferry to head out to the Aran Islands and see the Cliffs of Moher from the water. We drove into the Barrens this morning and watched a Sheep Dog demonstration, Caherconnell Fort, Poulnabrone etc... on our way towards Galway.
- Shannon (10/5): - Wonderful hosts, comfortable room, great breakfast. A little walk into town. Small town, but several good restaurants.
- sharin (10/5): - Doolin and the Cliffs of Moher are magical places. I couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay with such friendly hosts who helped us navigate our way around in so many ways.
- Jessica (10/5): - Great hosts - friendly and super helpful. Fabulous breakfasts. Plenty of information available, local knowledge and suggestions. Good location. And a dog!!
- Donna (10/5): Excellent! - Excellent! Wonderful hosts! Perfect location! Walking distance to pubs, music, restaurants and shops. The place was immaculate, with comfortable beds and a choice of several delicious breakfast options each morning including fresh fruit, crepes, yogurt, eggs, smoked salmon or a full Irish breakfast!
- Anne (10/5): - The hosts were the kindest and warmest people I have ever stayed with. The lodging itself was extremely comfortable and the food was delicious. I wouldn’t consider staying any place else in Doolin.
- Russell (10/5): - Great stay at the BnB. The hosts were friendly, the room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast was tasty and plentiful. Highly recommend.
- Courtney (10/5): - We absolutely loved our time at Cois na hAbhann B&B. The hosts got our breakfast orders the night before and were waiting in the dining room for us each morning whether we were slowly rolling out of bed or running out the door. Quiet, quant and hard to leave.
- Emma (10/5): Amazing stay! - Our stay at Brian and Dympna’s B&B exceeded our expectations. The location was ideal for reaching the Doolin ferry and going into town for dinner, drinks and music. The breakfast was delicious. The rooms were clean and well maintained. Brian and Dympna were so helpful and kind. We can’t wait to come back!
- Sally (10/5): - First of all the owners are wonderful they helped us with transportation and information. The breakfast was delicious and kept us full all day, the beds were comfortable, the property is well maintained. The place is very clean. The location is ideal for walking the town in either direction. I would definitely stay here again!
- James (10/5): - This was one of the nicest places we stayed in all of Ireland. From the moment we arrived, Brian and Dympna could not have been more hospitable. We loved staying here. The nearby Fitzpatricks Bar had first class food. O'Conner's Pub was incredible for music. And the proximity to The Cliffs of Moher was a mind blowing hike of 8km. We won't forget staying here.
- Anis (8/5): Nice B&B in heart of Doolin - Nice B&B in heart of Doolin. Walking distance to Doolin port and surrounding restaurants. Cliffs of Moher are 5 mn drive. Although the property was small ( 3 rooms), it was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was tasty. Hosts were very friendly and hospitable
- Mark (10/5): - Extremely welcoming & solicitous owners; stylish & upscale accommodations; my stay could not have been improved upon!
- natalia (10/5): - great hosts, nice breakfast, crystal clear
- Clare (10/5): Fantastic! - We had a lovely stay here. The room is modern, clean and just gorgeous. It’s walking distance to the village where there are great pubs for food and music. The hosts were so welcoming, friendly and helpful and the breakfast was wonderful. Would highly recommend.
- John (10/5): Comfortable and Clean - Stayed one night. Twin room very comfortable and clean. Owners of BnB very welcoming and friendly. Good location in Doolin. Car parking available on-site. Nice breakfast served the next morning.
- Sarah (10/5): - They are super friendly and helpful. The location is great. It was a great stay.
- Claire (10/5): A perfect staycation! - The friendliest hosts who couldn't have been more helpful or accomodating. Very welcoming and catered for gluten free diet. Room was extremely comfortable and clean. Would highly recommend as it is in the heart of Doolin. Claire & Diarmuid.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Fantastic hosts that greet you immediately upon arrival and help you in with your luggage. This is a smaller property with only three BnB rooms so it gives you the quaint feel. The rooms are spacious and very clean, nicely decorated. The pictures don’t do justice to the property. There is an enclosed porch where you can watch the sunset (if a sunny day) or have afternoon tea. The breakfast area is lovely and they make the best crepes (German style pancakes). The property is spotless and so clean. The beds were firm and linens were nice. The towels soft and thick. They have soap, shampoo, and a hairdryer. The TV has lots of channels and many different language offerings with sleep timer. The best part is is in the heart of Doolin just a 1 minute walk to a great bar and pub Fitz’s and no more than 2-5 minutes to the other bars. If going to Cliff of Mohr or Doolin Caves, this is the place to stay!
- Michael (10/5): Great place to stay - Lovely accomodation with great hosts. Walkable to village. Highly recommended
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Perfect. Clean and cosy in a great location in Doolin. Friendly hosts and a great breakfast
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Friendly and helpful host who allowed for early check-in. Plenty of free parking. Great location in Doolin and easy walk to the Cliffs of Moher and the lower town. Very good facilities with good WiFi.
- Ashley (10/5): - Super friendly husband and wife owners of the B&B, who were helpful with suggestions of Cliff activities and restaurants. Room and bathroom were spotless. Very much enjoyed our stay, albeit too short.
- YolandaLandis (10/5): - Gracious hospitality, comfortable and immaculate room and bath, delicious breakfast. Great location in Doolin. Can’t ask for much more.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Extra clean, comfortable. Lovely owners. Excellent location
- JeffMaisey (10/5): - This is the best place to stay in Doolin. You’ll feel like family. Great in every way.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Everything was top drawer. A very nice and sparkling facility that was impressive. One of my very best stays in Ireland.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - They where so helpful when our ferry was cancelled to the Aran Islands and in directing us to restaurants and sites.
- Claire (10/5): Road trip - A very pleasant overnight stay. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The room was perfect - warm and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious.
- Sean (10/5): - Lovely B&B with very pleasent hosts and ideally situated close to the hotel
- Bill (10/5): - Everything worked fine! Brian and his wife were great hosts helping find the Doolin music and the top of the Cliffs of Moher. Room was very clean and good facilities on a single floor. Maybe I’ll come back someday with more time
- Palmer (10/5): - The location: close to pub and its live music, and to the Cliffs of Moher. The hosts: Mike and Dympna are two of the most friendly, hospitable, and helpful people I have met in the hospitality industry. We felt like long-lost relatives, rather than customers. They are special people.
- Suzanna (10/5): - The B & B had true Irish hospitality from the moment we arrived until we left. This is a lovely location within walking distance from restaurants, shops, and the beautiful Cliffs of Moher. Whether you stay a night or longer you can't go wrong with this B& B.
- Katherine (8/5): Great place to stay in Doolin - The costs Bryan and Dympna were lovely, it felt very personal, breakfast was good, wifi was good, everything was clean. There is nothing to fault it for, though the room was a little too small for nice extra touches like a chair to sit on in addition to the bed. The only thing keeping me from giving it five stars is that it was not as charming as most of the other B and B's we stayed in.
- Verified traveler (10/5): 10 out of 10 - Terrific room, easy to find, good parking and wifi. The proprietor was super helpful checking in and gave great advice about local sightseeing
- Verified traveler (10/5): Perfect location, Great hospitality - We arrived the B&B soaking wet after we visited the Cliffs of Moher on a rainy day. The host welcomed us and made a pot of tea while we settled. The place is newly renovated, our room was very clean and nicely decorated but felt cold as the the heating system was already turned off for the season. Pub and eateries next door, short walk to shops, close to Cliffs of Moher. Definitely recommend.
- Mike (10/5): Wonderful B&B in the heart of Doolin - Wonderful 4 bedroom B&B in the heart of Doolin. The room (including the bathroom) appeared to have been recently renovated. Staff was very welcoming. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.
- Sue (10/5): - Very impressed with surroundings. Close proximity to food and attractions. Very personalised breakfast with plenty of tea and coffee. Very convivial hosts
- Dave (10/5): - Great B&B in a beautiful little village close to the Cliffs of Mohr, Ayran Islands, the Burren and much more. Brian is very friendly and helpful and gave us wonderful advice about restaurants, site seeing and the best Trad music we have heard in Ireland. Our stay was perfect!
- Michael (10/5): Perfect B&B in Doolin - We were greeted warmly by delightful hosts and shown to our large ground floor room. The room was bright, airy, spotlessly clean and comfortable with modern decor and bedding linens. The bathroom was also spotlessly clean and well appointed. There is a pub only a very short distance away for drinks and dinner. Breakfast was delicious both hot and cold. Would definitely recommend this B&B.
- Clare (10/5): Fabulous!! - Fabulous! Spotless, spacious, gracious. Perfect location (right across the road from Fitz’s great bar & restaurant), plus faultless Irish breakfast, lovely hosts!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great location and beautiful place! Our hosts were amazingly helpful and kind. We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely return!
- Leanne (10/5): I wish I could rate this a 10 plus! - We spent two nights here, and the place was in a fantastic location and the hosts were amazing!
Brian went out of his way to drive us to the visitor centre on the first day so we could do the Cliff of Moher hike. They were so hospitable and offered us great suggestions. The B&B is right across the street from Fitz's pub that has traditional Irish music nightly. It is about a 10 minute walk either way to all the pubs and the main village area. Doolin is picturesque and well worth the stay. The B&B is also super close to the Aran Island ferries that you can take over to the islands and I highly recommend this also. A little bonus is a cute donkey that lives across the street : )
I can't say enough great things about this place, and I will return for sure.
- ash (10/5): Perfect place in Doolin - The hosts were very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean, comfortable and nice looking. We enjoyed our stay very much and we were pleased to see how close of a walk the pubs were. Great live music across the street! We would stay here again or recommend it to our friends and family.
- Traci (10/5): Delightful B and B in Doolin - There are not a lot of options in little Doolin, Ireland but it's a popular place because of it's proximity to the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren, and the ferries to the Aran Islands in addition to a renowned local music tradition. This cozy little B and B, run by a husband and wife, is a real gem and fills up quickly even during less popular travel times. Each night's stay includes a full Irish breakfast. Book it early!
- WB (10/5): Loved it - We loved it! Close to Cliffs of Moher. Very clean. Attentive hosts. Towels were a bit scratchy but fine for 2-3 days. Would definitely stay here again!!
- Cyndi (10/5): - We had a lovely stay at this B&B - we wish we would have stayed for more than one night. It's quaint and quiet and had a lovely breakfast. The owners go above and beyond for their guests and I would stay here again. Doolin is a quiet town but the scenery is lovely and worth taking a detour from the bigger cities.
- Ethan (10/5): Wonderful B&B - Wonderful hosts who were very helpful with the area. The room was very nice, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was really awesome. It's right next door to a bar and a short walk from a few other restaurants. About a 15 minute walk (no parking right there) to the northern edge/entrance to the cliffs, which starts out (for a short bit) as a path that the farmers (who own the surrounding land) use for their equipment.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - My first stay in a B&B was wonderful. The owners are very helpful. The breakfast was perfect!!
- Alan (10/5): Great location - Great location in lovely Doolin. Everything is within walking distance. Lovely hosts. Very clean room. We really enjoyed our stay here.
