Guest Reviews
- Suzie (10/5): -
- Susan (8/5): We were pleased with our choice to stay there & would recommend it to others. - It was a great location, close to everything we wanted to go to. We were in a building that had 4 units in it & we were the only ones there during our stay. We really enjoyed that privacy. The unit was very clean. There was a shared washer & dryer in the hall that was free to use. We had an issue with the TV. The main office responded immediately & the man they sent was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He resolved the issue quickly. We were not aware that maid service was provided only once a week unless you paid an up charge. This was no issue with us for our 3 night stay but we did not know that till we checked in. I am only mentioning it for those that might have an issue with that.

- Kathleen (10/5): Great spot for quick get-away. - Helpful staff before ( Gus) and during our stay. Great location for a short cross country skiing and snowshoeing trip in the Berkshires.
Sauna was a nice treat after a day outdoors.
Well-equipped time-share unit that was remarkably clean.
There were few other guests during our mid-week stay, so the property was quiet, with no crowds in sauna, pool, or gym. Due to all of the snow storms in the past month, many of the parking spots had snow piles in them. During the week, there was enough parking, but by Thursday night parking was tight. I imagine it was worse on the weekends.

- Judith (2/5): We managed - The interior space is good The bathroom had black mold around the caulk
I asked 2x for repair no response
The blinds in the bedroom did not close
2 outside lights not working
Broken cement stair was hazardous
Landscaping neglected and full of weeds near the condo
Problem with maintenance at night
Door key not working. Waited one hour before return call the big argument . The worker did not believe us
Finally he agreed to come
Arrived at 1 am and fixed the door
Reported the problem on Saturday August 9
The morning person was rude
- Ellen (8/5): I would stay again. The chances that both things would go wrong again, is pretty slim. Very convenient to Tanglewood - It was close to Tanglewood. 2 bedrooms, nice kitchen The microwave was broken. They did replace it in the morning. The internet was down the entire weekend, also no cable.
- Kim (9/5): The property is beautiful; the condo has plenty of space - Generous amount of space inside the condo. Neighbors were quiet. The club house facilities (pool & sauna) was nice. The heating systems required a continuous fan and even while set at LOW the fans were quite loud.
- merry (10/5): - The Paz The facility to enjoy was close sample the pool 🙄
- James (8/5): -
- GLEISE (9/5): Perfect - Excellent place to rest and to admire the nature! I didn’t receive a call to explain that my key was available in the box besides the administration office and I was completely lost, but was a wonderful days!
- Douglas (9/5): - the accommodations are great. the pool was cold, very cold.
- Devaldino (7/5): -
- Thomas (7/5): - Clean but dated. Coil burners on the stove. Minimal silverware and dishes. Great location Pool was cold. Asked them to turn up the temp but it wasn't done. Never plowed out the parking spaces or walkway in our section after a 5" snow storm.
- Naiara (7/5): -
- Nicole (7/5): -
- Svitlana (10/5): -
- Mary Dee (9/5): We really enjoy your property! - We have stayed here many times…it is just perfect for our needs! Bathroom could use to be updated…mainly the shower/tub area.
- Agnes (8/5): - Location proximity to Lenox, Lee, and Stockbridge, and Great Barrington.
Unit was very spacious. Had a fully stocked kitchen. Newly renovated bathroom with walk-in shower was very nice. The big orange storage container outside my door was unpleasant to look at. The heating unit in the bedroom was very loud.
- Josie (7/5): It was a positive experience - The property was comfortable and well maintained. There wasn’t much I didn’t like
- Francis (3/5): Frustrating - Beautiful location in the Berkshires Been coming here for over 25 years and it’s the same things. Maintenance is either severely shorthanded or nonexistent.
Toilet components are all corroded preventing proper flushing. Loose screws, handles, etc. everywhere. Just general disrepair everywhere in multiple units. Very disappointing
- Johanna (10/5): Great stay! - Great unit. Bathroom had been updated. Roomy, lots of in unit amenities. Close to great museums and restaurants. It was all good
- Edward (10/5): -
- Amalia (10/5): -
- Louise (10/5): A great place to stay in Massachusetts - Location is amazing - set in beautiful parkland on the edge of a pretty town. Lots to do on site - pool, gym, tennis courts, lakes, walks. Very clean accommodation. Site is well managed. This place is a destination in itself. Would definitely recommend. Access to club facilities, pool etc is only during office hours ( 9 - 6)except fri and sat( 9 - 8)so we did not get to use them as we were exploring the area during day. Decor is dated but everything is super clean and well maintained.
- Russell (10/5): Want to mention Mike at front desk. He went out of his way to take care of us - Beautiful grounds. Friendly people Very clean and up to date
- Kityo Alex (10/5): - It’s cozy
- Savita (8/5): Place met expectations. - Location was great and area was beautiful. Central to everything. Place was comfortable and had everything we needed to be comfortable-smart TV, pots, pans, beds were great. Back door wouldn't stay closed so floor was wet. Had a bit of a wet smell. Almost moldy/mildewy. Wish there was some stuff in kitchen-salt and pepper
- Janice (8/5): -
- Puffer (5/5): Time to start updating lav. - No Breakfast location was good The check in staff was not pleasant.
- Lynn (10/5): Perfect Stay @ The Ponds - Just a wonderful place to stay overlooking the Pobd.
Convenient location to explore.
Friendly staff
Comfortable beds
Immaculately clean - everywhere
Lovely pool Nothing
- Karen (10/5): Perfect for us. - We enjoyed the location and the size. Very pretty area. Also enjoyed the small deck. Could use some updates. Tile taped on in shower/tub. Needs to have siding washed down in areas.
- Aaron (10/5): - Was a nice place to stay
- Dennis (10/5): Nice experience! - The overall experience was great! Nice property. Ducks and geese were fun to watch off of our room’s deck.
- Tammy (10/5): - I loved everything about the place. The tv was confusing and kept timing out. Its my new go to place.
- Rick (8/5): -
- Phyllis (8/5): - The property is beautiful and very walkable, and well-located with Tanglewood, The Mount, Shakespeare & Co and downtown Lenox extremely nearby. Onsite amenities such as clubhouse, tennis courts and pool are convenient and the individual units are nicely laid out.
The property is a bit older and could some updating/refreshing.
- michelle (10/5): - We were 4 adult friends sharing a 2-bedroom and enjoyed the size of the space and the location of the condo was under a 10 min drive to all the sights
- Katya (4/5): The condo is just OK. Not worth for the price. Spacious, but outdated. - Location is very pretty. Place is spacious, but very outdated. Bathroom is large, the bathtub is outdated, as well as the bathtub curtains. Seems like they were kept washed since the beginning of the time when bathroom was built. Towles are old and the small stains cannot even be removed through laundry anymore. Cobweb on the open porch. Pond has not been cleaned for a log time and its smelly.
- Rosemary (9/5): Beautiful setting, comfortable, spacious condo, minor annoyances. - The setting is beautiful and quiet and the condo is spacious and very comfortable. There were small signs of neglect such as a missing soap dish in the shower and a practically falling off door knob to the not very clean small balcony. We weren’t told the unit would be on the second floor which necessitated schleping luggage up the stairs with no offer of assistance from staff.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - This is not a hotel but a time share, there is no shampoo, coffee etc. They supply all the kitchen hardware and utensils but no condiments (including butter, oil). The place is ok but in decline (e.g. dingy feel). If you have kids, it might work out well but the interior doesn't inspire lingering for adults (i was ready to get out after sleeping). You can hear people walking upstairs. To sum up, if you love Berkshires and simply need a place to sleep and cook meals, it can work.
- Marcia (8/5): - The unit was in very good shape and in an excellent location but we had been promised an indoor pool but it was under renovation. It would be nice if we were told that in advance.
Most of the front desk people were very nice but one person doesn’t seem to like customers.
Overall a good experience.
- Richard (9/5): -
- Anne (2/5): - Dated, damp, HORRIBLE
- Michael (8/5): - Staff was responsive and very helpful. The property was well-landscaped and clean. Check-in and out were easy.
The outdoor pool area was very nice, however, the unheated pool was too cold.
The property was close to Lenox, Lee, and Stockbridge, all offering lots of dining options.
The apartment was clean, however, the bathroom needs to be updated. It was functional, but the ceiling fixture needs to be cleaned , a number of the floor tiles are cracked, and the enclosure around the tub needs to be replaced and the ceiling needs painting. Given that so many of the guests are senior citizens, a shower stall rather than a tub would be nice for better access.
All in all, we had a great visit...lots of good food and freshly made ice cream at the farm next door. Also nearby theater was a treat.
- Kitty (5/5): Not a healthy place to stay - Some parts are lovely with ponds and bridges. Some parts are awful. Falling apart The place has mold and mildew everywhere. The rooms have carpets that are old and dirty. I had allergies every night.
- Cyril (8/5): - A good place for vacation that you can enjoy and rest. Very nice and safe place.
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sullivan (8/5): A nostalgic visit brought fun, relaxation and unexpected condo updates. - It is a relaxing place to stay with winter activities close to the condo. The condo was updated and clean with modern amenities. The views are beautiful. The hot tub is not usable because they are in the middle of getting a new hot tub. Although I understand construction, I wish they had that information in the details. I would have still stayed. I just would have liked a heads up.
- Stephanie (9/5): Great place to stay and be close to the ski mountains! - The room layout, the pool house, being able to be Nextdoor to family. No hot tub!
- Iryna (10/5): Nice location with a lot to do after active day! - Nice location
Indoor pool
Sauna
Library
Fireplace in room We could hear everything the neighbors were doing upstairs
- Steven (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jeanne (7/5): Good - Setting was nice. Lake was pretty and not too far to town and ski areas. The condo was spacious. Fireplace in the room was fun. Definitely needed upgrading and more attention to repairs. It was clean but the shoddy repair work took away from it (water stains on ceiling, damaged walls, broken cabinets, etc). Over all, a decent enough place for a short weekend away.
- Kim (9/5): Excellent value good location for a family - The clubhouse facilities, including an indoor pool, large library, sitting room filled with books and puzzles was fantastic
- Vicki (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alicia (8/5): - Very comfortable property in a lovely setting
- Cristina (9/5): Very nice and cozy - We got a 2 bedroom apartment. It was fantastic. It is cozy, plenty of space, well-equipped, comfortable beds and sofas, nice kitchen. It was very cold and heating system was great. I would love to come back during summer to take advantage of the outdoors space. Just a heads up. You need to bring soap, shampoo and so on with you. Also everything that you might need to use the kitchen (coffee filters, olive oil, salt, etc). This is understandable, not a complaint, but good to know in advance.
- krystle (8/5): - Perfect location
- Jennie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Thomas (10/5): - Lovely, natural site.
- Stephen (10/5): - The grounds were gorgeous and the unit was just as described. It is incredibly quiet and peaceful and was a nice retreat to go back to at the end of the day. There were other amenities, like a gym but I believe they close the building fairly early so it can’t be used past 6pm. I would absolutely stay here again, should I be in the area. It was an incredible value for the amount paid.
- Betty (7/5): You get what you pay for. The location could not be beat! - Fantastic location and friendly enough staff. Dated and not as clean as I would expect . The bed is very old and very uncomfortable mattress. Carpets were stained and the place was using air freshener to mask the “old and dirty carpet and stains. There was an infestation of ladybugs also in the kitchen out our unit.
Pool could use a coat of paint.
- Denise (8/5): - Great Value! Very pretty grounds, quiet . A little worn around the edges. Office, pool, and other facilities close early.
- Clara (6/5): Pleasant - A very big room end the view Very tricky to get the key when you arrived by night
- Sawyer (8/5): Good value - comfortable - Clean, roomy
Request for rooms close was fulfilled Bathroom cabinets need painting
- Carmen (10/5): exceptional accommodation - This was a fantastic place and exceeded our expectations. We had a really nice and big apartment with a very comfortable sofas and a very well equipped kitchen and a very comfortable bed. The washing machine and dryer were at the entrance of the apartment and shared with 3 other units, but that was not an issue. The area was beautiful and quiet. It was excellent value for money. I would certainly recommend this apartment, and it is a good place from which to explore Lenox and the surrounding area.
- Darren (9/5): Superb -
- Schoonover (5/5): If it wasn't for the musty smell - it would have been good/great. - Great location and good size room/space. 2 sinks in the bathroom a plus. Appliances all in good shape and working. Furniture in good condition. Great light, big windows, & clean. Musty smell in the whole apartment, and front vestibule/hallway. Kitchen was bare bones for stock supplies. I would have hoped for at least salt and pepper and some tin foil.
- Melissa (6/5): Great price for a family if you aren’t spending much time in the room. - Great location. Stunning property. Perfectly located for anyone needing to be close to Tanglewood. The unit does not appear to have been upgraded or refreshed or upgraded in years. I had a question about the reservation in advance of our arrival, sent a message through the app and called the phone number listed in the reservation 24 hours prior and left a voicemail, didn’t receive a response with either method.
- Eviatar (10/5): - Really nice and comfortable place.
- Mario (9/5): Quaint and relaxing stay at a great value. - It was quaint, calm, and scenic. A great place to unwind and rest. The property was beautiful and very well kept. The suite was spacious and comfortable. We also appreciated the stocked kitchen and free load of laundry. The two separate bedroom blinds could be consolidated into one to prevent a gap in between them that allows visibility from the outside.
Visitor parking could be executed better. One evening a bunch of visitors (who were presumably friends of a hotel guest) parked by our building and nearly took up the entire parking lot around it. They all got on a bus to go to a wedding venue. This made parking for the actual hotel guests difficult as our normal spots were taken until these people returned from their wedding venue around midnight.
Our last morning, we found a pile of trash outside the back porch of our hotel room. We couldn’t figure out who left it there and when. It was not there the day before. The contents were pretty gross and unsanitary, but we decided to take it to the dumpster ourselves using a plastic bag as a makeshift glove.
- Stephen (8/5): Space, quiet and value in Berkshires - Very spacious apartment with large living room looking over the water. Access to washing machine and dryer very handy and very well equipped kitchen. Great location in quiet parkland minutes from Lenox. Very good value. The decor is a bit dated and the bathroom could benefit from updating but it was perfectly clean and worked fine.
- Pamela (9/5): Superb - It felt very spacious and had everything we needed. It was well located and the property grounds were beautiful. The decor was a little dated but for the rest we had a great stay.
- Tejvir (9/5): Superb -
- Mark (6/5): Not uxurious. But, fine value for price paid. - The location and property itself are wonderful. The facilities are aged, and I do know they're working to renovate and update. The bed and sofa were comfortable; and the accommodations are pleasant. The bathroom may be difficult to modernize. It's tough getting into the shower inside the non-functional jacuzzi tub, etc. The back deck and environment are showing their age, as well.
- Jeff (7/5): Mediocre - Grounds Poor signage to find the unit. Property was run down.
- Michael (8/5): Overall, the facility was quiet, and the grounds well kept. - Very beautiful. Very quiet. Tv didn’t work. Bathroom (tub) not very clean; toilet didn’t have much water pressure.
- Thomas (8/5): Very good - Nice place and good kitchen. No view out the back door.
- Jeffrey (8/5): Very good -
- Judith (7/5): Good -
- Vittands (5/5): Not sure we’d return which is a shame as things appear to be going downhill! - The location was gorgeous and the outdoor areas appeared well taken care of. Also, very quiet. Beds were comfortable and AC kept the condo cool in the evening Towels were small and thin, the pool towels were really not adequate for drying off.
Buildings are not up to date and can use a complete overhaul. They should remove the inoperative whirlpool tubs and put in showers. Our tub was stained and would have been dangerous to get in and out of. Hair dryer was inoperative and it took me 3 calls to see if they had another…at which point I was told I would have to come and pick it up myself. By that time my hair was completely dry and I had to start all over again. No coffee packets left so you could enjoy a cup of coffee on the first morning after you arrive🥲. When I asked it they had any they produced a bag with everything we needed …would be a nice treat to have that bag on the counter after a long drive the night before. The condo itself could use an update with some scraping of the wood and a repainiting. They also need more coverage at the clubhouse to open earlier for swimmers and cover the phones for questions and problems. Not everything is an emergency but it is helpful to have your questions answered in a timely manner!
- Cordelia (9/5): Superb - Comfortable apartment in beautiful setting. Sparse supplies compared to some vrbo hosts - no coffee, sugar, oil, coffee filters, etc. Limited numbers of glasses, plates, etc. OK for our needs but might be more of a problem for others.
- Evtimia (8/5): Very good -
- Sacha (8/5): Very good -
- Robert (8/5): Very good -
- Bluejade1008 (5/5): Very nice location, but very run down place. Not worth the cost. - The location of the property and the The apartment is sadly needing renovation. The property setting is beatifical, but the apt needs update.
- Lisa (8/5): Very good - Location was great, spacious apartment, clean, comfortable, beautiful grounds Small issue but it could have had a few additional provisions like shampoo and coffee filters
- Jill (8/5): Very good -
- Dale (7/5): Good - Location is excellent. Room was very clean and reasonably comfortable. Very dated... in need of sprucing up.
- Melissa (2/5): Good location, very poor facilities. - The location was good and the grounds were pretty. The room was very dated, there were leaky spots on the ceiling and duct tape on the balcony door. The indoor pool had a hole where the hot tub had been, the area was dilapidated and the bottom of the pool was dirty. We couldn't use the outdoor pool due to the weather, but its condition wasn't much better.
- Linda (5/5): Decent place to stay - The unit was clean and spacious. The AC ran well. Bedding fine. New living room furniture was comfortable. Location is excellent for a stay in the Berkshires. Easy drive to several towns including Lenox and Stockbridge. The hallway reeked of laundry chemicals because washer and dryer is located in the open lobby. The jacuzzi tub was not operating and dangerous to step in and out. Not ideal for guests with limited agility (like me). No walking paths on the beautiful grounds.
- Mindy (10/5): Easy to get to Tanglewood and so much more! Comfortable accommodations for a family of 3! - The property was beautiful and conveniently located. The unit was very comfortable and had everything we needed, including clean bedding for the fold out bed. We were very happy and would definitely consider returning the next time we visit the area. The unit initially had a slight musty smell, but once it was opened up and the a/c was running, it was hardly noticeable. If we had stayed longer, would have appreciated a few more bath towels.
- Karen (6/5): Good option for a short stay. - Location, grounds and ease of booking. Bed was comfortable. Condos are getting old - could use a face lift. Our outer door did not work - we had to use one to the left. Minimal bathroom amenities - paper products and soap are too thin. Not enough towels for even two people.
- Susan (7/5): Decent place to stay - Pretty view and close to lots of attractions. Full sized table, stove/oven, and refrigerator - so we could cook and eat in easily. Decent beds and good sized bedrooms. Parking was free and plentiful. Customer service was bad. I emailed through the App to verify check-in times - never heard back from them. Then when we checked in, the receptionist was less than helpful. She didn't bother to tell us we were on the 2nd Floor (it wasn't marked on the info document either). She didn't bother to tell us that the door handles needed to be pushed UP (backwards from normal door mechanisms). And gave us a bad key. All of this added up to a rough start getting into the apartment - we tried the first floor multiple times and only found out we must have the 2nd floor apartment from the first floor tenant. Then it took us forever to figure out that the one key was bad and then that the working 2nd key required us to twist the handle upwards (never did get used to that bit of crazy).
Apartment pretty dated: the jaccuzi bathtub looked ancient so we didn't try it; the bathroom counter was super low (at my hips and I'm 5'2) and most of the drawers didn't work well; knives were worn down; the bathroom vents didn't work well (so there were mold/mildew stains in the bathrooms).
