Verified traveler (8/5): It was fine for a quick stopover. - Solo woman just needed a place to sleep the night before my condo opened up. Pros: The price was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean. I actually got a room with a view of the Caloosahatche River. Con’s: There are permanent residents hanging outside (11p), and that made me nervous because sometimes it can be loud. It was not. But the a/c unit in my otherwise quiet room was loud and kept me awake.

Colin (2/5): Horrible! - This hotel was not in a great area. It was very shabby and dated both outside and in. We had to check out because of an ongoing disturbance in the next room. Paper thin walls, blind didn’t close properly. Manky shower curtain. TV didn’t work. Whole place felt unclean.

kareen (10/5): - This hotel stay was a last-minute decision and turned out to be surprisingly pleasant. The noise level was nonexistent. I felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. The interior was nice. The only thing that was less than ideal was the toilet seat was extremely loose and not connected Properly and the in the bathroom the wallhad a hole in it from a door knob that was not repaired.

Joseph (6/5): comfy beds and Forensics - the stay was good, but i still havent gotten my deposit back in over a week, and the person staying next to me had a several hour stand off with police to which i was instructed to not leave my room and stay quiet, and did not get a discount the following day and was told "not the hotels problem" so i was held prisooner and I understand why the police took such action, then after i had to deal with forensics which perferred i walked the other way, but no discount but rooms are clean and beds are really comfy, i would stay again but make sure your deposit is cash or you wont get it

On arrival we found they gave the room away that we were promised and tried to charge us $25 more than was quoted on Hotels.com. Live and learn
Dominic Esposito (6/5): - Every time we left the room our keys did not work. They needed programming every time. Very little English spoken. The rooms were clean. Very few amenities on prem. No coffee in room.

The sink didn't drain and had no stopper and there was no closet or stand to put a suitcase. Staff were pleasant enough but English was their second language so communication was difficult.

Doug (8/5): Good "Bang for your buck! for a quick stay. - Went with a buddy of mine for a quick two day stay in Florida and didn't want to break the bank for a place to stay. The staff was nice and the place was clean and sanitized. The room had 2nd hand furniture in it...but it was clean and neat. What you got for the price was perfect! I would use the Riverview Inn again next time I visit Florida again.
James (4/5): Disappointed - The cost was 95 dollers for one night. The 1st room they gave us smelled like Weed. They let us have a different rooom. That one was not bad, But the one of the pillows smelled bad. Also, we thought there was a pool as shown on the site. But there is no longer a pool because of the hurricanes. They shoud mention this and take down the pictures of th the pool.

Michelle (2/5): Disgusting hotel, would not recommend - I'm surprised there were any good reviews on this place. The room was dirty and obviously the floor hadn't been cleaned in a long time. After waking around in bare feet the bottom of my feet were black. We thought we saw bed bugs so took a town to wipe up and it looked like blood stains. There were people smoking drugs (not pot) outside their room and it was very uncomfortable. So uncomfortable, I ended my 3 night stay after 1 night, cut my losses and booked a different hotel. I would not recommend.

Seeing that the lobby had a “bank teller” window where transactions are done while the customer is standing outside should have been an omen. Stay away

Eric (10/5): Pleasant surprise - Periodically we stay at different hotels for a change of scenery if nothing else. This is one we’ll be using often. The updates they’ve done work well. Good beds. Tile floors. Close parking. The rooms were very clean and quiet. Convenient location. In a nutshell it’s an affordable decent place to stay.

Dale (8/5): An Unexpectedly Pleasant Stay - The Riverview has an off-the-beaten-path look to it; pretty plain and out-of-the way appearance. But for the money, a pleasant enough experience. The room was clean, comfortable; everything in working order. No bugs. Clean shower. Office staff, though difficult to reach, was very helpful. My business was finished early and I tried to cancel 2nd night through Expedia. No help there whatsoever, after being bounced around to at least 3 reps. The hotel onsite staff took care of it without batting an eye. Don't be reluctant to stay here. Quiet; convenient; no indication of unsavories in the area..
