The lady at the reception tried to help me, but in the end she sent me somewhere completely different from where I wanted to go. The Wi-Fi works, but it’s not very fast. The room is cleaned every day. The air conditioning didn’t work, so I couldn’t heat the room on a chilly evening.

Large room, very comfortable bed, comfortable sofas in the room, well-functioning bathroom with bidet and a huge, amazing bathtub. The service was also very polite and helpful in all situations. The only negative I can say is that the wi-fi worked very poorly in the room, me and my wife could only access it from the bathroom.

Una rapina visto che un buon ristorante con primo e secondo ha questo prezzo. La polvere nella stanza era dovunque, ragnatele e assenza di riordino. Le.lenzula macchiate anche di sangue. I bit surprised… on the room pictures there was one big bed for a single room. There was no fridge (mini bar) in a room. I’ve asked and they brought it. But when I asked a tea spoon in a hotel restaurant they said it’s forbidden to give kitchen stuff to the rooms. It’s funny. I pay 70$ per night but they afraid I’ll steal a soon. Cleaning stuff like shampoo and soap was not updated every day. A bed was not covered every day. One tea pot and one instant coffee bag for three days stay. It was also strange. Nice breakfast. A lot of food options, but no any alternative milk. So 8 from 10. They should learn a bit more to give a service.

After having change our room ( 303 ) with the (206) next one, has the bed finished. After a night you'll be sick with your back. Breakfast is varies and good. Some staff are helpful and kindly, others lazy and unpleasant. Certainly overpriced !!!

The rooms are reasonable size and very functional with classic furniture. Everything was neat and the cleaning staff cleaned the room everyday spotlessly. Breakfast was ok. The bathroom had clean towels, toiletries, as well as a shower with excellent water pressure which I liked very much. The breakfast buffet is not to be compared of course with the breakfast buffets of 5 star hotels but it had wholesome options and it was definitely good enough for getting your day started with the energy you need. All in all I had an excellent experience staying here for a week and would book this hotel again every time I will be in Minsk for a business trip.

citywok (8/5): Good location - We stayed at this hotel in a standard double room on the 4th floor. The room was of good size, with a comfortable bed and plenty of storage. The bathroom was quite roomy with a bidet and a large quarter circle bathtub. This wasn't a problem for us but if you find it difficult raising your leg, I would ask for a room with a walk in shower as the side of the bathtub was quite high. We had overall good service. The room was tidied up everyday and bins emptied. Receptionists were polite and helpful (like the majority of locals). There was always someone who spoke English. Wi-fi was adequate but I also had a Belarusian PAYG sim card that I bought from the MTS kiosk at the airport (Arrivals, Sektor 5, red booth) which gives you 2GB of internet. I would skip the breakfast option if room only price is cheaper. Selection was dire and food not really tasty. The location is probably the best thing about this hotel. It is walking distance to a lot of attractions. A shopping mall (Galleria Minsk) with a supermarket and a food court is about 200 metres away.
Karny (10/5): 👍👍👍👍👍 - Very nice hotel. Warm, quiet, very good service. The room is comfertable and above expectations for its price. The food at the restaurant's hotel is very good and the location is great.
nonameSheffield (8/5): A very friendly hotel - I was here on a birthday trip. My room was classed as single so it wasn't huge but the bed was double and very comfortable. Everything I needed was there. Breakfast was ample, with something for everyone, even a vegetarian like me. What makes the hotel, though, is the friendliness and helpfulness of the reception staff. They all went out of their way to help me get around, which was so good because I only had three clear days to explore and as KLM sent my case elsewhere all the info that I had gathered was also elsewhere. I must admit that on the first day I thought the hotel rather difficult to get to, but I soon realized that the situation is ideal. Buses from the main road took me straight to the railway station. There is a massive supermarket in the same building as the Hilton. There are coffee shops, pubs, and the tourist area is within walking distance. I'd happily come back here.
Xasgotan (6/5): If you have plenty of time.... - This Hotel is centrally located, ideal for the opera and the old city and next to a huge shopping centre with a great offer of food. The rooms are clean, quiet and spacious. There are a few serious shortcomings: The wifi is too slow. Don't use this hotel if you need fast internet access. Only some staff speak English. Don't use this hotel if you expect Swiss-trained cosmopolitain service staff with degrees in hotel management. Only some staff try to be friendly and helpful and appear to be concerned about your taxi, your car hire agreement, your request for small repairs in the room, you choice of tea or coffee for breakfast, etc. Others may quite openly show their disdain and go out of their way to avoid you if they can. The buffet style breakfast is ok but not consistent in its daily quality and choice. Fresh fruit is provided but, like most other items, not replenished when it runs out. In summary, I would not stay here again as the problems outweighed the benefits. If you speak Russian or Belarusian and you don't expect any other service than being handed over a key and the bill, this hotel will probably be a good choice.
Verified traveler (10/5): - I was most impressed with the reception staff. They all spoke excellent English and they all went out of their way to be of help. Breakfast was plentiful, with something for everyone. I could have done with some bread that was in between the white stuff that is pretty awful, and the heavy rye bread. Once I got the hang of the service buses I found it so easy to get into the centre. A lot of what Minsk has to offer was easily accessible on foot. Oh, and the hotel is immaculately clean. And it's in an area with every sort of shop that one could wish for.

Dmitry (10/5): 2 years test - For 2+ years I've been visiting Minsk almost every 2nd month. With a precondition "to stay smwhr close to the center" i've tried ALL hotels located centrally. And I must admit this one has proved to be the optimal choice. A. I totally like its unusual layout - no goddamn "standard cubicles"; almost every room has its own layout... but of common style. B. Clean. 2 years and still same cleanness. C. Stylish and cosy. No IKEA furniture. Oak one. And its fantastic smell... D. Spacious. No standard cubicles = no standard square meters. E. Food-wise... well, not a decisive factor for me, but I can say I never was hungry after the breakfast. Just okay.

Akshay_Wadke (8/5): Small Cozy Boutique Hotel : Great Value - This is a small cozy boutique Hotel, right next to the Double Tree by Hilton. It is great value for money. Rooms were neat and clean, done in the old style with wood trims. Bathroom was basic but again had all essentials and were kept clean. Location is fantastic, barely 5 mins walk to city centre. Breakfast had good variety. Honestly, I hope they keep the same prices, as it is really value for money.
herdsman71 (8/5): Great value, great accommodation - The room was more like a suite with an entrance lobby and dark wood furniture, it was very comfortable and had two great nights sleep. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very close to the city centre and a short walk to the war museum, I would recommend it to anyone considering a stay in Minsk.

udk2016 (4/5): Large clean rooms and bathrooms; poorly maintained and operated - This hotel is on the expensive side for Minsk, and the rooms look it-- very large, with a large ante-room and very large bathroom. Nice air-conditioning system, too. However, the place is very poorly run, despite the high price: the elevator for our wing of the hotel did not work; the breakfast was poor compared to other hotels and started much later than it was supposed to (we almost missed our flight!); the shower door lost at least one of its wheels, and became a finger-chopping device; the mattress was truly awful. In short, we did not get our money's worth, and shall never be back.
Adar (10/5): Nice place, great location, weirdness in rooms - Great location - walking distance to many sites, shopping centers, bars and restaurants. We've had one room that was really big and one standard size room (for the same price). Nearly half of the light bulbs in the hallways and in the rooms aren't working. It wasn't so bad, though, as there are so many of them... Getting into the bathtub to take a shower was a surprisingly difficult task for me as it was so high, so it might be mission impossible for the elderly. Beds are too soft for my opinion. Very good breakfast.
namedMelissa (10/5): This is a Fantastic Hotel - The hotel location was in the middle of the central historic part of Minsk, so we were able to walk everywhere. The room was very large (room 305), beautifully decorated, comfortable king-size bed, nice bathroom. The hot water took about 5 minutes to get hot, but once it did, there was plenty of it. There were skylights, so the room was never completely dark at night, but the only light to come in was the Doubletree Hotel name, and that didn't bother us. The receptionists, Anastasia, Julia, Valeria, Olga, Tatiana all spoke English and were all very personable and helpful. The breakfast buffet had all manner of items to choose from apple blini, eggs, sausage to cold veggie salads, cheese, breads...our favorite,though, was the kasha (oatmeal) and little bars of chocolate-covered cream cheese (like cheesecake, but very rich). We stayed 3 days and enjoyed every moment.
Zuribob (6/5): Great location in Minsk - Greeted with a warm smile and easy check in. I stayed for 2 nights in a single room, room was a good size and faced onto an internal courtyard. Comfortable bed, adequate lighting, minibar, plenty of power sockets, lot's of storage space. There was a kettle in the room, but no coffee or mugs, also a safe in the wardrobe, which didn't work and had no batteries in. The bathroom was fine, It takes a while for the water to run through hot, but there was a bath tub and shower, with good pressure. The room to the doors, are very loud when closing, but there was an internal door, between the entry and bedroom area which kept any external noise down. Breakfast was ok, choice of eggs, sausage, pancakes, cereals, yoghurts, ham, cheese, bread, pastries etc. The first morning, the girl made me a nice cappuccino, the second morning, i got no coffee, the girl (different one) was more interested in eating her breakfast behind the bar, than the only guest in the breakfast room. Breakfast was 7-11am. WiFi in the hotel was fast and no connection issues during my stay. Location is excellent, next to the new Galleria mall, close to the old town, and walking distance to many major sights. Overall a good stay, and the price was very reasonable.
apipou55 (8/5): Just ok!, very friendly personal, good beds and clean rooms - Just go and enjoy this hotel. The rooms were perfect, the center is just around the corner. The bathroom was very very clean. We came with two couples and we did enjoy Minsk very much. Even on the road there are very polite people. Life is good.....good life is better.
Dudekica (10/5): Great place, great location - The hotel is situated behind the Victoria business centre, and therefore a bit difficult to find. Should you travel by taxi or with a private person, give the business center as a reference. There are quite a few parking places in front of the hotel, but there is no garage. Reception is small, but offers 24-hour long sevice, and the staff speaks good English (sometimes also German). Behind the main enterance, there is a restaurant, offering breakfast, lunch and dinner. Meals can also be ordered in the hotel room (no extra charge). Meals are typical Slavic: bread, potatoes, pancakes, cream, mean. I tried several meals, all of them were ok. I can recommend the honey cake. As for breakfast, it is rich and exciting enough to keep one going for a few days. Don't expect wonders, though. Should one like to try out other things, drop by to 'My English granny' or Centralny Universum (15 mins by foot). Location of the hotel is ideal for visiting the old Minsk (10 mins by foot). There one can find all sorts of shops and restaurants. Theatre is also near (recommended) Rooms in the hotel are huge, and bathroom really huge (with a bathtub). Heating works great, and there is also an air conditioning. Bathroom is equipped with standard beauty set. Room could be noisy due to ventilation system (cannot be turned off). WiFi works perfectly, even supports long Skype calls. Neighbourhood, as the rest of the city, is safe, clean and well organized. Do not expect typical Russian mess, Belarus is something completely different. Enjoy your bliny i have fun. Don't forget that the country is billingual and street names are not necessarily consistent (check names in both languages). Google maps and iphone maps work perfectly. Try to avoid visiting churches on sunday morning: you will disturb people during a holly mass. Taxis are safe, and it is unlikely that sales people will try to confuse you with lots of zeros on the bills.
444laurynass (8/5): Big rooms, small reception - Stayed there second time. Did really enjoyed space in the rooms, location and parking lot. It was a bit complicated to find the hotel first time. Rooms are clean, but more attention to the details is needed: mold in bathroom and dusty floor carpets. Did not enjoy the breakfast this time. A bit poor. But as three stars hotel it beats lots of four stars. Thinking to choose it again if price will be the reason.
