Not luxury, but that`s okay for the price. - Location is pretty good, views across a cove to the cliff bar, so you can sit in the pool, or at a table, enjoy a Bintang and watch surfers doing their thing on what CAN be terrific waves. Pool is nice without being outstanding, rooms the same .. comfortable enough. Food was nice from the kitchen there, a poolside snack / pizza was nice .. staff friendly too.
• Lena (7/5): Difficult location but nice enough hotel for the price - The view was gorgeous, and the staff were very nice and helpful. The pools were lovely and the food was good too. We only stayed one night out of the three we paid for because the location was so far out on Ceningan island and we had a friend staying on Lembongan, so we went there instead. It’s a nice place but the whole island was so so empty and quiet. Not the hotels fault. Our room had no toilet paper and almost no lights, 3 of 4 light bulbs were not working and we had asked them to change twice but no one came to change them. The transport they arrange from bali pick up to the ferry is not a private driver (which would have been not expensive at all) its a group van where you have to do several hotel/villa pick ups before being taken to the port, this was uncomfortable and the air con didn’t work in the van. This really set a bad precedent. They didn’t tell us this when arranging. We would have arranged our own transport had we known. You cannot cross the yellow bridge from the ferry port to Ceningan island with a car, so you have to walk all your suitcases across, thankfully we asked the hotel to help us and they sent two staff to help. You can only cross by bike or walking, this was another thing that was annoying but not the hotels fault. Just made it harder to go between islands for activities. There are no shops open past 9pm and the roads are very steep to get to the hotel. The beach is not a good beach for swimming its very rocky.

The power went off during the night (2am) - 4 nights out of the 7 we stayed - woke up hot & unable to sleep. No WiFi available in the rooms, very disappointed. Need some shade over the pool & umbrellas at the tiled viewing chairs - way too hot to sit out there during the day. Need more parking available for motorbikes.

• Lisa (8/5): Loved it. - The views were amazing. The food and cocktails were good value for money. The two infinity pools. The air-conditioning could not keep up with the severe sun and weather conditions. This meant I could not open my windows to enjoy the view. My room had nowhere to sit outside and there were very limited options to sit in the communal area. The pool deck is fantastic but there is no proper shade. The umbrellas were not UV safe. One large tree would suffice.
• Howe (10/5): Will definitely be back, loved our stay at The Palms Ceningan. We were welcomed with open arms. - The breakfast was included in the price and there was a fantastic selection available. My partner picked the same breakfast for 3 mornings but I chose 3 different ones, I do recommend the banana pancake with honey and lime my favourite. Should of stayed longer so I could try the other choices. There was nothing I didn’t like about the property. The pool was very inviting and the outlook over to Bali was magnificent. There was plenty of seating and sunlounges around with decking which is a better option than slippery tiles. You don’t even have to stay at the property to enjoy the ambience, just pop in for a refreshment and enjoy the outlook and meeting other people.

• Kelly (10/5): Good company, cold drinks, great views, peaceful getaway. - If you’re heading to an island off the coast of Uluwatu, this is the place to stay—skip Le Pirate. The waves out front are perfect for experienced surfers, giving you your own private break. The view is unbeatable, and the staff is warm, welcoming, and genuinely invested in your safety, comfort, and overall experience. The food was excellent, and the team was incredibly helpful and quick to respond on WhatsApp, accommodating every request like family. Places and people like this are rare. While it’s rated as a 3-star resort, it exceeded our expectations and felt like a 5-star stay to us. We’ll be telling our friends and coming back next year. Don't think twice about booking this place for your vacation. Everything was excellent!

The designers failed because they only cared about optics and didn't consider the climate. On a sunny day, the extensive timber decking was stupidly hot, so guests stayed away. The same goes for the pool, which is like bath water because it's exposed to the sun all day. The long counter facing the surf was great except the tiled top was scorchinly hot. There isn't a single plant or tree so the outside area is soulless.

• Heike (10/5): Wunderschöne kleine Anlage mit toller ungezwungener Atmosphäre - Was hat mir gefallen? ALLES! Die Anlage ist recht klein, überschaubar und familiär gehalten. Dadurch war es sehr persönlich. Man wurde sehr warmherzig vom Personal und vor allem auch von den australischen Eigentümern Wayne und Jay empfangen und umsorgt. Auf sämtliche Wünsche und Bedürfnisse wurde eingegangen, es gab tolle Tipps für Ausflüge (inklusive der dazugehörigen Organisation - hier auch danke an Jordan 😉), großartige Gespräche und viel Spaß mit Wayne und Jay sowie den anderen Gästen. Eine sehr freundliche ungezwungene Atmosphäre. Zweimal in der Woche gab es Live Musik mit einem tollen Sänger und Gitarristen, der auch das Publikum zum Mitsingen animieren konnte. Die Apartments sind sauber und gepflegt und die gesamte Anlage in einem guten Zustand mit vielen Möglichkeiten, sich bequem hinzulegen oder einfach nur dazusitzen und das Meer, die Wellen, die Surfer und die Sonnuntergänge zu genießen. Man hätte auch einfach stundenlang in dem angenehm warmen Salzwasser-Infinty-Pool bei einem Bintang Radler (mit oder ohne Wodka-Shot) liegen können... Das Essen war durchweg und ausnahmslos phantastisch und es gab eine ganz große Auswahl an indonesischen wie auch internationalen Gerichten und auch auf spezielle Ernährungsbedürfnisse wurde eingegangen. Viel Auswahl auch für Vegetarier, Veganer, Menschen mit Glutenunverträglichkeit.... Ausflugsziele wie die Blue Lagoon (wo man von oben auch Meeresschildkröten sehen konnte) oder Mahana Point sind fußläufig gut erreichbar. Wir haben uns selten irgendwo so dermaßen wohl gefühlt und so gut erholt. Ein ganz dickes Danke an Wayne und Jay, aber auch an euer wundervolles liebenswertes Personal. Was hat mir / uns nicht gefallen? Dass wir leider irgendwann auch wieder abreisen mussten... 😞

• Helen (8/5): Friendly staff, clean and comfortable - the perfect place to relax and chill with beautiful sunsets. - The cliff top position gives a beautiful view especially at sunset and the small infinity pool is lovely and clean with amazing views. The staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Jordan was a perfect host, always there to help and look after you in any way he could. Wayne and Jay - the part owners were also on site and were extremely friendly and mixed easily with all the guests making you feel very much at home. The breakfast was very nice with several options to choose from. The lunch and dinner menu offered a good variety of cuisines at reasonable prices. Access to the beach could be better although the 'beach' is mainly rock and coral so access to the sea challenging. If you are looking to swim in the sea, this would probably not be the hotel for you.

My partner loved it especially as he could go surfing right out front every day and I could watch him from the deck which I enjoyed. Great spot for sunset too! The rooms are cleaned daily and shower is nice and hot with good pressure. Owners and staff are very friendly. Great value! Next time we would probably book a room with a view as ours was tucked behind the good view rooms. We loved the breakfast package which included a big pot of tea or coffee, fresh fruits and choice of main (we loved the omelette). They also have delicious oat milk which was a major bonus for me. Overall great value for money. It can get quite hot during the day, and there isn’t a lot of natural shade, so a few more trees or shaded areas would make it even more comfortable. The property is run by Australian owners who are very friendly and helpful, but as we’re visiting from Australia ourselves, we would have personally preferred a bit more of a local touch in the day-to-day experience.

We left a part of our luggage after checkout accidentally and they came all the way to yellow bridge to give it which really appreciated The cleaning of the room was pathetic …my toddler unfortunately puked the first day after a bumpy boat ride and I rinsed the towels for them to remove when cleaning is done, weren’t removed till the last day…towels not replaced, bedsheets not changed if soiled…it is a basic hotel but even basic hotels should be mindful of these things…rest of the stay was decent , more so because of the people staying there…

• SOFIA (4/5): Not good value - Tthe owner was nice when we needed help and the staff very nice. In general we didn't like it. It is definitely not a 4 star hotel. We paid more than 100 euros per night and not worth it.. in room : there were no lamps, just light bulbs ..very simple room , no chest of drawers, ..no towels for two days!!!! .never seen a hand towel either. Fridge rusty, no hair dryer, not even a glass in bathroom. No television of course

We had only one incredible sunset due to weather conditions but it was beautiful! Jay and Wayne are outstanding hosts! They went out of their way to insure that our anniversary trip there was so memorable! The Happy Anniversary message in flower petals in our bedroom was so sweet! Climbing the stairs from upstairs bedroom to downstairs bathroom was somewhat challenging.

Perfect spot to lay by the pool, have a few drinks and something to eat while enjoying the view and also great to use as a base for exploring the island. Rooms were clean and had everything we needed. So glad we found this place, we loved every minute of our stay.

Il y a des bancs intégrés pour s'asseoir et profiter du coucher de soleil en dégustant un cocktail (ils ont Le personnel est vraiment très gentil, serviable et sait être discret. Niveau nourriture le menu est incroyable, nous sommes resté 6 jours et avons goûter énormément de chose, tout était délicieux et frais. Niveau chambre, elles sont très cosy et joliment décorées. La literie est très bien. Pour l'accès plage, un escalier se trouve a côté de la piscine. Et pour ceux qui aime le surf, la plage offre une magnifique gauche. Je recommande 💚

All staff were friendly and very helpful. Every detail was attended to efficiently. Our hosts were a great help with arranging our transport to and from the airport.

Property was clean I thought the AC struggled to keep the room cool with the heat from the fridge and heating during the day and large roof void the unit is a bit small. The sink also leaked in the bathroom. No big faults I just thought I would provide constructive feedback.

• Dennis (10/5): Great money for value - The concept of this hotel is simply amazing! We enjoyed the view on the sunset and sea out of the cozy infinity pool. The food was delicious and always fresh with a big variety. The prices were fair and good value for money. You must keep in mind it is an island. Jordan and the rest of the crew were outstanding and super friendly. They even managed to book us a snorkeling trip to Nusa Penida the night before with an incredibly professional guide, which made us feel safe all day long. The transport to and from the hotel was also organized by the hotel and was conducted by Rocky Fast Cruise which was also without complications! Once again thank you very much for an amazing stay!

• Lisa (10/5): Wonderful location, the sound of the ocean, perfect place to relax and unwind looking at the waves and sunset everyday. - Fantastic view of the ocean and sunsets, walk to the beach and the staff feet so lovely. Best place to stay in Ceningan. The pillows need to be upgraded they were a little smelly as was the bathroom. But the staff did their best to rectify the smell in the bathroom.
• Neil (10/5): - The Palms Ceningan is the value for money 💰 weekend getaway or alternative package holiday instead of the Standard beach resorts in Bali. Absolute incredible views overlooking the ocean, with extremely comfortable pool side furnishings! The Restaurant and bar are just great value for money! It's the place to go to switch off and have fun and relaxing at the same time. Nothing to not like.

• Abbie (10/5): Ideal sunset accom with direct access to beach - Absolutely beautiful accommodation with direct beach access, Infinity pool and amazing views of the ocean and sunset. If you're a surfer, this is the place to be. We were greeted by Jordan who went above and beyond throughout the entire stay to make sure we were happy and comfortable. He helped with scooter hire, food, surfboard rental and even books. The rooms are simple but very comfortable, with big bathrooms and comfy beds. I loved the little flower arrangement they did to celebrate our honeymoon too. We had breakfast included and the banana pancakes were so delicious! As was the smoothie bowl. Overall I would highly recommend The Palms to anyone looking to stay in Cenigan :)

• Josef (10/5): Super, Spitze, Toll und sagenhaft schön. - Sagenhaft schön. Verweilte vier Wochen zum Relaxen. Das ganze Personal war so etwas von freundlich, herzlich und lustig. Sehr zuvorkommend, aussergewöhnlich nett. Und der erste Eindruck von der Lage mit Sicht auf das Meer, die riesigen Wellen, das türkis blaue Wasser und die Wellenreiter. WOW einfach fantastisch. Der Bungalow war sehr ordentlich, sehr sauber, Top Klima und Ventilator. Man konnte Tag und Nacht das rauschende Meer hören und sehen. Sogar den Sonnenuntergang vom großen Bett aus. Da komme ich sicher wieder 😊🥰
• LES (10/5): An adventure we will never forget, and we never felt so appreciated in all our Bali travels. - Are you ready for an adventure? This location is on a cliff edge of an outer island called Ceningan Island, facing west. Your adventure will start at the boat marina, Sanur Beach, you can book your entire trip though the hotel, which is recommended. Allow a day each side for travel. The ferry is a fast enclosed cameraman, it takes about 30-40 minutes to reach Lembongan Island where you will be transferred by taxi-bus to the Yellow Bridge, make sure you get help with your bags to cross the bridge. You will then be taken on the local Taxi-bus, to the hotel. When settled-in, you will find everything you need is available from the hotel. Basically, transport is now by motor-scooter everywhere. There is a hotel menu, but just ask at anytime and you will receive. We found all the staff to be extremely friendly and they did their utmost to make sure our time was enjoyable. We booked a boat for half a day and went looking for Manta-rays. Another adventure in it's self. Just before sunset, everyone appears outside in or near the pool to enjoy the incredible sunset with a cool drink of choice. I found all meals and drinks to be very reasonably priced. Walking across the Yellow Bridge, for a couple of oldies was not the best idea, we could have paid peanuts to have our bags carried for us and ride on the back of a motor-scooter.
