- Ryan (10/5): The perfect weekend away. - The property was fantastic!!! The gardens and the tranquility of the area build an amazing setting for the house. The house has everything you could asked for for a weekend away and the location was great. Nothing
- Darren (9/5): Lovely accommodation in peaceful surroundings - Spa room, large living areas, comfortable, lovely gardens, big comfortable beds, good kitchen Slippery wet floors on arrival, very limited amount of firewood available made worst by the fact that the local petrol station suggested to us had run out. Lovely bedrooms upstairs but toilet’s located down several stairs.
- Faith (10/5): Best luxury accomodation I have ever stayed in - The beautiful gardens and luxury styling Nothing
- Leslie (9/5): Overall, beautiful property. Very clear instructions for checking in/ Checking Out - Beautiful Grounds. Clean property with an abundance of utensils. Very comfortable beds. Bathroom upstairs would have been ideal.

- Ingrid (9/5): A gorgeous cottage with beautiful surrounds in a tranquil setting. - Beautiful house and property it was very homely and comfortable. The kitchen sink plug was stuck in a cavity in the sink so it made it difficult to wash dishes as there was no other plug.
- Michael (9/5): Superb -
- Penny (10/5): Exceptional -
- Diana (7/5): It was nice but unfortunately not exactly what we were expecting for the price point. - The house was beautiful, clean and had lots of comforts. The advertisement and pictures are very misleading. As we were two couples travelling together we were after a 2 bathroom property, which is what The Orchard is advertised as. We were very disappointed to discover on our arrival the property is in fact one complete bathroom located downstairs with two bedrooms upstairs and the second ‘bathroom’ was DETACHED from the house consisting of only a spa bath and toilet. I feel it’s very misleading to advertise this property as two bathroom given the location and lack of shower in the second bathroom. It was a lovely property but didn’t accurately accommodate our needs for a 2 bathroom property.
It was also very disappointing that on our 2nd night and only full day at the property we had no power from 4am to 11am, this was very disruptive and very unpleasant as what was meant to be a lazy cozy morning at this property was not possible as we had no power and were unable to even make a basic cup of coffee or toast at the house. This was also very disappointing and dampened our stay.
- Samantha (9/5): Beautiful property - the perfect Daylesford getaway. - Such a beautiful property, no expense spared. Felt very homely. Lack of curtains/blinds around the house. The front of the property that faces the road has shutters, however nothing to cover the glass door, which defeats the purpose of the shutters as you can still see right in from the road. Felt a little bit eerie like someone was watching at night.
Also need instructions for the spa.
- Fiorella (9/5): Overall an enjoyable stay - I loved the comfortable beds and the extra toilet outside
Lovely big kitchen table
Tastefully decorated throughout
Thank you for the bottle of wine
And loved the Smeg appliances
And enjoyed using the fireplace
Thankyou for the wood Would have liked a toilet upstairs though.,
- Hadee (10/5): Beautiful property, we really enjoyed our stay here. We will definitely be back - Beautiful property - was very well serviced and spacious. Very central location -
- Andrew (5/5): Ill-considered access to bathrooms. - Secluded and private. Kangaroos in the backyard to wow my overseas visitors. Resident kookaburras. Pleasant garden. House seemed to be set up for large parties rather than accommodation in that there were very large tables with lots of chairs, but house only accommodated 4 at most. Bedrooms were upstairs while bathrooms were downstairs, and only one of the bathrooms was in the house. The other was not really usable on a practical level. It was detached from the house and had no privacy; just big open curtainless windows. A bedroom and bathroom upstairs and a bedroom and bathroom downstairs would have worked better. Property was too far out of town for walking. There appeared to be a bottle of wine to greet us, but no card explaining that this was so. So we didn't touch it.

- Donna (9/5): would stay again destination . - beyond comfortable , it had everything that you could want . that there was no upstairs bathroom , but not really a big problem .
- Nesta (9/5): it was most enjoyable. - ambience. comfortable. clean. didn’t realise there wasn’t an ensuite but didn’t cause a problem for the short time we were there.
- Hugh (9/5): Superb -
- Denise (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mckenzie (10/5): Beautiful cottage perfect fora country getaway, highly recommend! - We loved everything about the house from the amenities, location, kangaroos and birds… There wasn’t a thing we disliked…
- Lan (9/5): 5 star stays, great location and cozy house. - The location is excellent, the property with private river and gardens are amazing. The bath hub is beyond expectation. By the way, kangaroos are gathering in front of the bath hub in the early evening. It's such a great view. The house is cozy and the fireplace is easy to handle. Overall it's an excellent stay experience. 5 stars. The master bedroom balcony is locked. Maybe it's the same key, I forgot to try. The morning view there must be great.
The shower can be replaced to a mixer rather than hot and cold switches. It's hard to manage the water temperature and amount, especially for kids.
- Carrie (10/5): wonderful location with so much to do in Daylesford - So beautiful and peaceful and very, very relaxing. Loved the fireplace, so clean and fresh and the beds were so comfortable. so many options both indoors and out to escape and enjoy a good book. The perfect getaway! was a bit hard to work out the oven but eventually got there
