Guest Reviews
- Stacey (10/5): Fantastic! - It was warm and cosy! Loved it!! The dead bird pictures
- Georgia (8/5): -
- Craig (10/5): One of the nicest places you could ever find. - The pictures are nice but they don’t capture the wonderful feeling that you get the minute you arrive. Wombat Hill Cottage is simply one of the nicest places you could stay. It’s comfortable, charming and very well presented in all respects It would be an injustice to this property to try and find any faults
- Lydia (8/5): Beautiful country cottage surrounded by whimisical gardens. - Beautiful country cottage, surrounded by cottage gardens. While we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again; the home could be cleaner, with more attention on some of the finer details.
- McCann (10/5): Comfy, cosy, quiet and clean! - The cottage was absolutely perfect. It was beautiful and cosy and quiet and the beds were so comfy! Will definately book again!
- Simone (10/5): It was beyond our expectations - a lovely spot to stay and revitalise - Cosy comfortable warm and

- Greg (10/5): Loved the cottage and the location - The location was perfect. Kookaburras singing in the morning and friendly magpies. Love being on wombat hill near to the botanical gardens
- Lyndal (9/5): Superb -
- Alexandra (9/5): Lovely overall. - Stunning property, beautifully presented, love love love the garden. Love the heating system! Front door needs a handle/knocker to help shut it.
Would be nice to have a mirror in the front bedroom.
Trees over roof above rear bedroom need trimming as they bang against the roof at night and are noisy.
- Graham (8/5): Very good - The location is close to the centre, but the hilly nature of Daylesford can make walking a challenge. We were greeted by a very friendly magpie, who liked to sing for his supper. Driveway is a little narrow and care is needed in reversing out.
- Craig (10/5): Exceptional -
- Domenic (9/5): Overall, I highly recommend staying at this property - Stunning property, excellent location, the cottage was clean with everything you could possibly want or need. Unfortunately the driveway is very narrow, it’s hedges and plants need to be heavily pruned to allow easier access for cars, particularly considering how the cottage is positioned in the street.
- Richard (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nikeesha (10/5): second time staying and as beautiful the second time around! an amazing stay! - this is the second time I’ve stayed here, I love the cottage itself, the layout as well as the garden is so beautiful and soothing. it’s styled so nicely as well nothing I love everything!
